Welcome back, friends and fellow adventurers, to the release of the Forty Ninth episode of Cock'd: A Real Play RPG Podcast! The campaign takes place in the home-brewed lands of Manassas and the campaign follows a rag-tag group of party members adventuring around The Lands of Manassas for their own reasons. As always, thank you each and every listener for following along on this journey. The party set out from Port Savorsa and with the help of the Dryad Conclave, made their way to Evorgos to investigate strange disappearances occurring in the area.Eventually the party met a one armed Rebel Goblin and found Ibron. Unfortunately Ibron had fallen under the hags spell and attacked the party only to flee deeper into the tunnels beneath Evorgos. Last Episode we left off as Brakka had Ran/Swam through a mining tunnel trying to beat the rising water level to the hatch above...Links:The Fates Roll - @thefatesroll_officialCock'd: A Real Play RPG Podcast - @cockdofficial_Kadie (Jessica Reid) - @jessicareid001Brakka Ultim (Reggie Morris) - @_anomaly00Aegard (Alex Groves) - @the_alex_grovesDM (Alex Reid) - @C18dreCover Art (Jose Adriano) - @zemmu.coAmbient Sounds/Badass Theme Song (Nerdius Maximus) - @nerdius_maximus_Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cockdAffiliates and Sponsors:Chronicle Cards: https://chronicle.cards (Don't forget to use the code AWR_ART20 at checkout!) This book is different from most books on raising children. It is a plea for the parents to truly know and walk with God – for them to love God and His Word. In the correct order, focusing first on the parents, Andrew Murray then urges parents to sincerely and consistently love their children and in all tenderness and gentleness teach them as God also teaches us. Children are a most precious gift that we receive from God, and they deserve our very best. Our faithful training will not be lost on our children; this is a promise found over and over again in the Scriptures. If our hearts are right towards God and our children, the world's influence will not impact our children. We can and must exercise faith, so our children and our children's children will be able to impact the world for Christ and inherit eternal blessings. A few of the parenting topics covered in this book: * What sin did to the family and how to redeem that which was lost. * The distinct and also shared roles of fathers and mothers. * How and why to teach children manners. * How to show children the Scriptures in a way that takes root in the heart. * How to teach with a quiet, gentle spirit, as God teaches us. * How to intercede effectively in prayer for our children.
In the FORTY-NINTH session of our Wingin' It series on the Life of Luther, Wade and Jason discuss George Spalatin, a man who was Luther's friend, Frederick the Wise's privy secretary and chaplain, John Frederick's tutor, an advisor to future electors, a pastor in Altenburg, and a whole lot more. Name an important Lutheran Reformation event and there's a good chance Spalatin was either there or working behind the scenes. We hope that you will enjoy this discussion.
