O general de quatro estrelas, candidato a vice na chapa de Jair Bolsonaro em 2022 e ministro da Casa Civil no governo do ex-capitão, foi preso pela Polícia Federal no sábado, 14 de dezembro. Braga Netto, um dos indiciados no inquérito que investiga a tentativa de golpe em 2022, tentou obter informações relacionadas ao acordo de delação premiada de Mauro Cid, ex-ajudante de ordens de Bolsonaro. Segundo o ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), o general tentou impedir ou embaraçar as apurações em curso. De acordo com a PF, Braga Netto era uma das figuras centrais na trama para manter Jair Bolsonaro no poder: o general não apenas tinha conhecimento, mas aprovou o chamado "Punhal Verde e Amarelo", plano golpista que previa o assassinato de Lula, do vice Geraldo Alckmin e do ministro do Supremo Alexandre de Moraes após as eleições de 2022. PF prende militares que planejaram matar Lula, Alckmin e Moraes | Política na Veia Na manhã desta terça-feira 19, a Polícia Federal (PF) deflagrou a chamada "Operação Contragolpe" para prender militares que planejaram um golpe de estado após as eleições de 2022. A ação mira agentes das Forças Especiais do Exército — os "kids pretos" — que teriam planejado assassinar o presidente eleito Lula, além de Geraldo Alckmin e Alexandre de Moraes. O plano estaria detalhado em um documento denominado "Punhal Verde e Amarelo", que deveria ter sido posto em prática em dezembro de 2022. Esse documento teria sido um dos arquivos recuperados por investigadores nos celulares e computadores do tenente-coronel Mauro Cid, ex-ajudante de ordens de Jair Bolsonaro. O apagão e as eleições em São Paulo | Política na Veia O apagão que atinge a região metropolitana de São Paulo desde a tempestade da última sexta-feira foi o principal tema do debate entre os candidatos à prefeitura da capital nesta segunda-feira, 14 de outubro. Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) e o atual prefeito, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), participaram do encontro promovido pela Band. Boulos criticou a atuação insuficiente da prefeitura na poda de árvores, o que contribuiu para as consequências do blecaute. Nunes, por sua vez, responsabilizou somente a concessionária Enel pelo corte de energia e mirou o Governo Federal por supostas falhas na fiscalização. Até a madrugada desta terça-feira, 338 mil imóveis ainda estavam sem energia. No início de novembro de 2023, também após uma tempestade, a Enel levou seis dias para restabelecer a luz para todos os seus clientes na capital.
