WIN Metals Ltd (ASX:WIN) managing director and CEO Steve Norregaard joined Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss the company's strategic rebranding and key developments in 2024. Norregaard highlighted the shift from Widgie Nickel to WIN Metals, signalling a focus on gold exploration, particularly at the Butcher's Creek project in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. “This year, we drilled 7,000 metres at Butcher's Creek and achieved standout intercepts such as 98 metres at 1.47 grams per tonne gold. These results confirm significant potential for extension both at depth and along strike,” Norregaard shared. Golden Crown, just six kilometres north, also delivered high-grade intercepts beneath its existing resource, pointing to promising opportunities for expansion. For 2025, WIN Metals will prioritise advancing its gold projects by deepening technical studies and conducting further exploration to leverage the strong gold price environment. Norregaard also noted that while the company was focused on gold, its nickel and lithium assets remained valuable components of the portfolio, with potential upside as market conditions shifted. #ProactiveInvestors #WINMetals #ASX #GoldExploration #ButchersCreek #GoldenCrown #WAExploration #GoldMining #ProactiveStudio #NickelAndLithium #MiningUpdates

Then Venus entering Aquarius sparks innovation in love, beauty, and connection, especially when she aligns with powerful Pluto. And Neptune makes its big shift forward after months of reverse motion. On the latest episode of #talkinthrones, Professor Pat takes a break and Chris "The TV Nerd" Evanko comes in to help Dom break down Episode 6 of this tale of Ice & Fire in their Game of Thrones recap series, entitled "A Golden Crown." After a slight scheduling mix up, Dom & Pat return for their signature weekly recap show. In this episode, directed by Daniel Minahan and the only episode that Benioff & Weiss co-wrote with Buffy the Vampire slayer alumni Jane Espensen, things are truly shaping up for war. Ned is given control of the realm by Robert, and makes a bold move against the Lannisters before being given the last clue he needs to discover the truth he's been seeking. Tyrion, also our focus character, manages to figure out a way out of his sticky situation with his usage of Trial by Combat, something that he would use later on in the franchise to his benefit. As is covered on our History of the Gotchaverse segment, Trial by Combat is basically when you need a get out of jail free card and can have someone represent you in a one on one combat. Bran and Theon also go through some more life lesson moments in the north, but the real big moment of this episode happens in Essos, with Daenerys consuming an entire horse heart in some weird Dothraki ritual before Viserys finally makes his move, much to his chagrin, threatening his sister in front of the entire khalasar, and is therefore executed via molten gold being poured on his head. With our first main character casualty of the series, we bid adieau to Viserys, who was played fantastically by Harry Lloyd in the five episodes he appeared in. Hello there, friends, and welcome back to The Longest Night - a little show about the HBO series Game of Thrones. This week, we're up to season 1, episode 6, 'A Golden Crown'. It's time to close the book on "A Golden Crown," so it's also time for Andrew and Manu to close the book on one Viserys Targaryen, who overplays his small hand and ends up dead at Khal Drogo's hands from a molten gold crown present. Whoops! In the two other scenes, Theon grudgingly has to bid Ros adieu since she is heading south to King's Landing, and Ned has his "eureka!" moment about Joffrey's parentage when telling his daughters that they must leave the city. This podcast is not from the mouths of babes, but hey! It's a podcast. Enjoy. Compare the scene settings between Ros & Theon's goodbye and Jaime & Brienne's fight Thrones "History & Lore" feature on the origins of House Baratheon Follow Andrew's MLB.com writing on Cut4 in 2018; articles will also be listed weekly at his own site iTunes link Google Play link
Official business is definitely afoot in the penultimate podcast of "A Golden Crown." Standing in for Robert, Ned responds to reports of chaos in the Riverlands with the bold move of calling for the Mountain's head and for Tywin to come to court. Bronn then fights for Tyrion's life against Ser Vardis in The Vale and Joffrey gives a Lannister necklace to an extremely smitten Sansa. Andrew and Manu discuss the ramifications of Ned's power play, compare the trial by combat to the book, and marvel at the beginnings of sassy Sansa with her septa. "Not a Cast" on Septa Mordane in Arya I, A Game of Thrones Watchers on the Wall on Sansa's hair & wardrobe iTunes link Google Play link
"A Golden Crown" continues, as Tyrion pleads with Mord the jailer, Syrio urges Arya to focus on her training and not grieve too much on her family's troubles, and Dany wins Dothraki favor by consuming a horse heart. Jorah and Viserys watch the adulation, and a jealous Viserys tries to steal the dragon eggs. The last scene in particular leaves plenty for Andrew and Manu to talk about with Viserys' somewhat-legitimate gripes and the revelations of Jorah's feelings for Dany. Manu's "Black Panther" review iTunes link Google Play link
Andrew and Manu watch the beginning of "A Golden Crown," which starts off with a rude awakening for Ned Stark, as Robert & Cersei are at his bedside, ready to cause some immediate strife. After a quick trip across the Narrow Sea to Daenerys trying to heat up a dragon egg, we jump to the North, where Bran can ride a horse again. That only causes trouble for Robb and Theon, though, who must save him from a group wildlings that includes future fan favorite Osha. Oh, and they're arguing, too. Ready to break down the conflicts? Let's go. Con of Thrones link iTunes link Google Play link
