Life for the South Carolina based singer-song writer, Bourn'gan (pronounced Born Again), has been a never-ending love song about Jesus and he. With this life he has triumphed, he's failed; he's been wronged by others and been a perpetrator of sins. In this humanity there is much he wishes he could change, but to what end? God has revealed Himself through the ups, and the downs, through the triumphs and the frowns... With love, His love, there was strength to survive and share truth. Many of the lyrics Bourn'gan has written are a reflection of the reassuring Word God wrote in his heart to "grow him through", and toward a new season. Truly relational in his being, Bourn'gan prays that his music impacts the atmosphere and multitudes seek a relationship with Jesus! He pens lyrics and produces songs that move him; he prays they move you. He is a storyteller at heart, longing to make music that well represents the Body of Christ. As a secular artist, Bourn'gan performed on-stage at the Grand Ol' Opry as a finalist for a national songwriting competition. A local favor in Stark County, Ohio, he opened for a variety of national recording artists, eventually entering into talks with several major labels (Capital, Motown, Warner Electra Atlantic, etc.). Accepting God's call to preach, he founded the group Atonement, writing, producing and arranging all music. The group boasted a unique ministry, in which seamless performances involved skits, music and The Word of God! Atonement took the area by storm, eventually receiving an invitation to perform as part of the Bobby Jones Unsigned Artist Night. Having released his first solo project as Anthony L. Smith, the album entitled “Living Sacrifice” garnered modest radio airplay in the U.S. and abroad, eventually leading to a mini-tour of the southeast U.S. as an opening act for a concert promoter, and an invitation to perform on the French island of Martinique. The promulgation of God's Word is what Bourn'gan desires. Songs like “Stronger”, “No Fear”, and “Get Out My Way” continue to receive regular airplay in a variety of markets, resulting in nominations for “The Rhythm Of Gospel Awards”, “The Voices of Gospel Music Awards”, “The Prayze Factor Awards”, and “The Kingdom Image Awards”! While “No Fear”, “Get Out My Way”, and “No Justice, No Peace” gained momentum on several streaming platforms, Bourn'gan rode that wave of momentum and was selected to perform his music as part of the 2020 Spin Awards, where he set the stage on fire! He then released a holiday favorite, entitled “My Favorite Holiday”, which was added to popular playlists worldwide! The popularity of this song led to Bourn'gan being asked to host a weekly seasonal broadcast show on DWGN radio, called “The Christmas Playlists Radio Show with Bourn'gan”, featuring other indie artists and their ministries. New single, entitled, "THANKFUL" pays homage to the NEVER-ENDING LOVE OF GOD and represents (for Bourn'gan) the healing power of our Lord! A test, became a testimony! On September 19, 1997, the world said goodbye to one of the most prolific and, sometimes controversial, Christian artists of his day, Rich Mullins. Mullins' soared to CCM stardom with hits like "Awesome God" and "Sometimes by Step", but his deep convictions and poetic mind prevented him from relishing in his fame. Like Keith Green before him, he walked to the beat of his own drum and did the music he wanted. Tragically, his life was cut short in an automobile accident. In this episode, we talk to four CCM artists who knew Rich, and they give us some insight in to the man Rich was behind the scenes, as well as tell some interesting tales of their encounters with him. Join us for this very special episode of Jesus Freaks: Vinyl to Digital, as we pay tribute to Rich Mullins and feature some of the music he brought us.Special Thanks to Russ, Lee, Mark Gersmehl, Lary Dean and Randy Stonehill for their contributions to this episode.Music in this episode:"Here in America" - Rich Mullins & a Ragamuffin Band (Reunion)"Awesome God" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)"That Where I Am, There You..." - Rich Mullins & a Ragamuffin Band (Myrrh)"Hold Me Jesus" - Rich Mullins & a Ragamuffin Band (Reunion)"Let Mercy Lead" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)"Alrightokuhhuhamen" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)"Brother's Keeper" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)"Peace (A Communion Song from St. Joseph's Square)" - Rich Mullins & a Ragamuffin Band (Reunion)"Sometimes by Step" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)"Elijah" - Rich Mullins (Reunion)This podcast is licensed  through BMI. COME MEET GOSPEL RECORDING & SONGWRITER, ANITA FRANKLIN FROM TALLEHASSEE, FL BIO Christian Contemporary Gospel Recording Artist and Songwriter Anita’s love for music started at a very young age singing in church choirs. At the age of eight she was introduced to the stage as a soloist at a Church of God in Christ (COGIC) State Convention held annually in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then she has gracefully continued the journey of singing. During her college years at Florida A&M University (1981-1984) she was a member of Florida A&M University (FAMU) Gospel Choir under the leadership of the gospel choir’s Founder and Advisor, the late Dr. J.D. Olds. During her years with FAMU Gospel Choir she was blessed to be featured on the gospel choir’s first "Live Recording" as lead vocalist for the albums’ title cut "He Will Bring You Out". In the 1990s’ Anita’s gifts were not only recognized in the church circle but spread in the community when she was invited to join the singing group General Uprising and gospel group "Psalms 8". In 1995 Anita was featured vocalist on National Gospel Jazz Recording artist - Mr. Ben Tankard’s first album "All Keyed Up" singing "Let This Love Live". Anita participated as Apprentice in the State of Florida’s Folk Heritage to study African America blues under the master: the legendary Charles Atkins. This masterpiece of Anita and Charles Atkins studying music is historically placed in the State of Florida’s Department of State Archives of History. Anita’s passion for music and singing open more doors when she was invited by Mr. Earle Lee, Director of the Boys Choir of Tallahassee to travel and perform with them. She has shared the stage with The Boys Choir of Tallahassee for over eight years traveling with them in January 2009 to Washington, DC for the First Inauguration of President Barack Obama and In July of 2009 to travel and perform as lead vocalist with the Boys Choir at the Essence Festival in New Orleans to participate in a tribute to Bishop T.D. Jakes. Anita’s historical moments were performing with the Boys Choir in Selma, Alabama for its annual national "Bloody Sunday Festival" and in 2012 the historical visit to the White House for the White House Holiday Celebration with President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama. As a songwriter Anita has written several songs and on June 2017 Anita released her single entitled "YOU PRAISE HIM" produced by Christopher Lowe which was she was nominated in four categories by the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards 2018 and received the 2108 Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards “Best Performance by Female Artist and her Christmas project “The Last Time Holiday Love”. Anita has recently been nominated for “Female Soloist of the Year” by the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards for their 2019 21st Annual Awards Ceremony to be held in Houston, Texas. Welcome to the Anthology series. In this series, we seek to highlight artistes who have released a large bevy of music over a considerable period of time that has blessed the nations far and wide. We firmly believe in giving honour to whom honour is due. It takes a lot to put out music that is of good quality on a consistent basis, so we definitely don’t take that process lightly. Next on our list is incandescent lyricist and freestyler, Farenite (@farenitefire). Samuel Selkridge aka 'Farenite' was born in the beautiful twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago to parents Hussain Benjamin and Beverlyn Selkridge in the borough of Chaguanas. Described as a quiet child, he always had a thing for rhyming as he would often rhyme simple words like cat, mat, fat and rat, seeking to impress his mother. Growing up in a Christian home, it is while attending St. George’s College during his secondary school years he began writing poetry which developed into ‘freestyling’ while classmates would make beats on tables. Negatively influenced and distracted by the world, Farenite found his way back to the Lord in 2009. Determined to make a difference via his music and being encouraged by family and friends he began composing songs. In 2010 he released his first professional recording which was a gospel reggae entitled ‘Never Giving Up’ on the Best Friend Riddim. This riddim also featured Joel ‘Positive’ Murray. He became better known for his dancehall track ‘When I Wake’ which was released in 2011. This aggressive yet melodious track engaged the attention of radio broadcasters, producers and other artistes in the gospel fraternity.  Farenite has been performing for the past nine years and since his first release he has recorded over 50 songs. Ordained as a pastor in 2013, the leader of The Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministry at Heaven Touching Earth International Ministries, he incorporates these giftings as part of his ministry when required. Used mightily of The Lord in Trinidad and Tobago, he has ministered in New York, St, Croix, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and recently in Panama alongside his wife Apostle Gillian Selkridge.  He is known for his versatility and is unafraid of using various genres to get his message across. Impossible to box him in, he has done soca, reggae, EDM, hip hop and dancehall tracks. He has also performed alongside Positive, J Prince, Jaron Nurse, Jadee, Sean Daniel, Nathanael, Marc Isaacs, Samuel Medas, Isaac and Nehilet Blackman, Koen Duncan (now Kyiros), Shiselon, Mr. Lynx, Rizon, Blessed Messenger and Sherwin Gardner just to name a few. Getting into music production, he has produced his own music inclusive of one of his more popular songs, ‘Boldface Wit It’ and the Gospel Music Awards of Trinidad and Tobago 2019 video of the year, ‘The Transit Riddim’.  He believes in the transforming power of music and has chosen to boldly proclaim his faith through this medium to positively affect people’s lives. Respected for his writing, in particular his lyricism and biblical content, he challenges himself to find more creative ways to present the gospel through his music. He released his debut album on Friday 8th November 2019, which, in its first week, reached No. 26 on the top 100 albums iTunes chart for Trinidad and Tobago. He was also the top nominee at The Gospel Music Awards of Trinidad and Tobago with 5 nominations including Album of The Year and Songwriter of The Year.  Ladies and gentlemen, you're invited to press play and experience an auditory exposé of the ministry of Farenite. Official release date: 03/02/2020 #EpisodeFortyFour Tracklist: telegra.ph/Anthology-Farenite-12-24 Be sure to rate and review this mix: podchaser.com/themasterkc For updates, follow Master KC everywhere: Instagram: @themasterkc Twitter: @TheMasterKC Facebook: Master KC

http://rosemarysiemens.com Known for her love of sparkle and bling, quirky laugh, and warm, genuine personality, world-class improv violinist and vocalist Rosemary Siemens has mesmerized audiences around the world since the age of three. Hailing from a century-family-farm in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, but currently based in Vancouver, BC, Rosemary is a small-town farm girl dominating the world-stage playing a 300-year-old violin named “Sparkle” that was played in King Louis XIV’s orchestra. She’s performed four times at New York’s Carnegie Hall, played private concerts for two U.S. Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers, and 16-time GRAMMY Award-Winner David Foster, and was the first violinist to ever perform at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican since its first mass in 1483. In addition to having recorded nine-albums as a solo-violinist, Golden West Broadcasting recently commissioned Canadian composer Victor Davies to compose a violin concerto for Rosemary entitled “The Journey”, which was performed by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in a sold-out world premiere at Centennial Concert Hall. In August 2016, Rosemary’s hometown of Plum Coulee, Manitoba, unveiled a sign in her honour at the edge of the town that reads, “Plum Coulee, Home of Rosemary Siemens.” It inspired her to write, record, and release her debut bluegrass album titled, Plum Coulee, My Home, featuring her vocal debut accompanied by her band Rosemary & The Sweet Sound Revival. Since Rosemary’s album release in 2016, Plum Coulee, My Home, won “Best Country/Gospel Album of the Year” at Canada’s 2018 Gospel Music Awards, charted #11 on the Canadian Country-Music Sales Chart, won the 2016 Global Music Award for “Best Bluegrass/Country Album”, and was featured in Billboard Magazine. In March, 2017, Rosemary hit the road on her “Have a Little Faith” tour of Western Canada to promote her album, playing 11 shows in 10 cities including Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary, and her hometown area of southern Manitoba, where her boyfriend, now husband, award-winning jazz saxophonist Eli Bennett, interrupted her show by walking-down the isle while playing “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” on his saxophone and proposed to her on stage in front of a sold-out audience. She said, “Yes!”, and the video of the proposal went viral and was featured on CBC National News, MSN News, and Yahoo. Rosemary has performed in over twenty-five countries as well as the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Hockey Night in Canada, and concerts for Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Walt Disney World for Children’s Miracle Network, the Latin GRAMMY Awards, The Miss America Pageant, L’Oreal Paris, the World Entrepreneur Forum, the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Canada’s Gospel Music Awards, and recently shared the stage in Nashville with gospel artist and 10-time GRAMMY Award-Winner CeCe Winans. Rosemary’s duo group “Roy & Rosemary” recently performed the world premiere of their composition, “The Courtial Concerto” written for the Ambassador of Rome at the world’s largest sacred music festival at the Vatican, and their music video of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” recently went ‘viral’ and has over eighteen million views on YouTube. Rosemary’s passion is to take her violin everywhere – to unexpected locations to touch, inspire, and make people smile through music. From performing for passengers stranded at the Calgary International Airport during Christmas, to bringing a man to tears with a version of the classic hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy” at Rome’s iconic Colosseum, to taking song requests for a U.S. retired veteran at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Nashville, you never know where Rosemary will show up to touch people with her music. You can follow her exciting adventures on social media at @RosemarySiemens.
