We're celebrating our 10th anniversary all year by digging in the vaults to re-present classic episodes with fresh commentary. Today, we're revisiting our 2021 conversation with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. ABOUT JIMMY JAM & TERRY LEWISWith 26 Billboard #1 R&B hits and 16 Billboard #1 pop hits to their credit, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are perhaps the most influential and successful songwriting and production duo in modern music history. With a total of 41 Top 10 hits in the US, Jimmy and Terry were named ASCAP Songwriters of the Year a record-breaking nine times. They are perhaps best known for their work with Janet Jackson, beginning with the Control album, which earned the duo a Grammy for Producer of the Year. Between 1986 and 1994 they scored thirteen #1 songs with Janet on either the R&B or pop chart, including “What Have You Done For Me Lately,” “Nasty,” “When I Think of You,” “Control,” “Let's Wait Awhile,” “Miss You Much,” “Rhythm Nation,” “Escapade” “Love Will Never Do (Without You),” “The Best Things in Life Are Free,” “That's the Way Love Goes,” “Any Time, Any Place,” and “Again,” which earned Jimmy, Terry, and Janet an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song. Jimmy and Terry got their start as musicians with Morris Day and the Time, the Prince-produced band whose biggest hit was the Jam and Lewis-penned “Jerk Out.” They made the transition to a successful songwriting and production team working with the S.O.S. band, which landed a #2 R&B hit with “Just Be Good to Me.” From there, they made their mark on pop and R&B hits for decades to come. In addition to their work with Jackson, the duo wrote and produced the #1 pop singles “Human” by Human League, “Romantic” by Karyn White, “Thank God I Found You” by Mariah Carey, and the Boyz II Men singles “On Bended Knee” and “4 Seasons of Loneliness.” Additional R&B chart toppers include “Encore” by Cheryl Lynn, “Fake” by Alexander O'Neal, “Everything I Miss at Home” by Cherelle, “Sensitivity” by Ralph Tresvant, and the Johnny Gill singles “Rub You the Right Way” and “Wrap My Body Tight.” Other highlights from their catalog include New Edition's “If It Isn't Love” and “I'm Still in Love With You,” “No More Drama” by Mary J. Blige, Robert Palmer's hit pop cover of their Cherelle single “I Didn't Mean to Turn You On,” and recordings by Gladys Knight & The Pips, Barry White, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Usher, Spice Girls, Aretha Franklin, Charlie Wilson, Ledisi, Sting, Elton John, Beyonce, Rihanna, Rod Stewart, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, Willie Nelson, and many others.Always versatile, the duo has earned Grammy awards for Best R&B Album for Chaka Kahn's Funk This, Best Gospel Song for Yolanda Adams' “Be Blessed,” and Best Dance Recording for Janet Jackson's #1 pop and R&B hit “All For You.” Additional Jackson hits that were written and produced with Jam and Lewis include the Janet and Michael Jackson hit “Scream” and the #1 singles “Together Again,” “I Get Lonely,” “Doesn't Really Matter,” and the Nelly duet “Call On Me.”In total the team has earned over 100 gold, platinum, multi-platinum and diamond album certifications from the RIAA, have received more Producer of the Year Grammy nominations than anyone in history, earned the NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award, and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

She then teamed up with Isaac Hayes for a highly successful world tour, “A Man and a Woman.”In 1976, Warwick signed with Arista Records, beginning a third decade of hit-making. Arista Records label-mate Barry Manilow produced her first Platinum-selling album, “Dionne,” which included back-to-back hits “I'll Never Love This Way Again,” and “Déjà vu.” Both recordings earned GRAMMY® Awards, making Warwick the first female artist to win the Best Female Pop and Best Female R&B Performance Awards.Warwick's 1982 album, “Heartbreaker,” co-produced by Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees, became an international chart-topper. In 1985, she reunited with composer Burt Bacharach and longtime friends Gladys Knight, Elton John and Stevie Wonder to record the landmark song “That's What Friends Are For,” which became a number one hit record around the world and the first recording dedicated to raising awareness and major funds (over $3 Million) for the AIDS © 2025 Building Abundant Success!!2025 All Rights ReservedJoin Me on ~ iHeart Media @ https://tinyurl.com/iHeartBASAmazon ~ https://tinyurl.com/AmzBASAudacy: https://tinyurl.com/BASAud

The media loves sensationalized romance scams, but we need to understand that anyone can be emotionally seduced and it's not just the lonely. No one is off limits to being targeted, no matter the age, status, or career. And the impact is far greater than just financial. Today's guest is Becky Holmes. Becky is the creator and voice behind the popular Twitter account Death to Spinach. Becky's book Keanu Reeves is Not in Love With You looks at all aspects of romance fraud, from the heartbreaking to the hilarious, the academic to the anecdotal, and discusses where we've gone wrong in dealing with those affected. Show Notes: [1:08] - Becky runs a Twitter account where she spends a lot of time wasting the time of romance fraudsters. [2:38] - An unintended consequence of messing with fraudsters, Becky became a sounding board to victims of romance fraud. [4:56] - Once you engage with a fraudster, your name is put on a “sucker list.” [6:13] - Becky explains what romance fraud is. [7:22] - Victims of romance fraud are generally assumed to be lonely, middle-aged women, which is a stereotype. [8:27] - The media sensationalizes victim stories, but this could happen to anyone. [9:53] - There's not a lot of services and support for victims of romance fraud. [11:40] - The damage extends farther than the financial loss. [13:43] - When it comes to scams, we focus so much on a victim “falling for it” which implies that they are somehow complicit. [16:31] - Becky describes an experience she had as a victim of fraud. [18:19] - Coercive control is at the center of all types of romance fraud. [19:56] - Becky explains confirmation bias and its prevalence in all types of scams. [21:25] - Romance fraud is really hard to deal with because it involves the heart. [22:43] - Becky shares how scammers usually start conversation and how they navigate getting you on a different app. [26:44] - In addition to social media and dating apps, fraudsters also send messages on online games. [28:07] - Another common technique is for scammers to pretend to be a celebrity. [31:24] - A very successful tactic is when fraudsters pretend to be a part of a charity. [34:18] - Becky explains the inspiration behind the title of her recent book. [35:56] - We should be looking out for our friends and family. [37:21] - If we see something happen, how can we help someone? Thanks for joining us on Easy Prey. Be sure to subscribe to our podcast on iTunes and leave a nice review. Book Club #83 - Keanu Reeves Is Not in Love With You - Richard talks to internet sensation Becky Reeves about her fantastic book about internet scammers and the people they scam. They chat about how this idea came about, the hilarious Twitter chats Becky has had with scammers, how the book delves into the world of fraud in much greater and more serious detail than you might have expected, why intelligent people can be susceptible to cons, the crazy things we all do for love, the instinct to chase losses and how the people behind the scams justify their behaviour, but the utter devastation they leave behind. It's a really fun chat in spite of the seriousness of the subject, just like the book which I very much recommend.Buy the book here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Keanu-Reeves-Not-Love-You/dp/1789651638Come and see RHLSTP on tour http://richardherring.com/rhlstp Become a member at https://plus.acast.com/s/rhlstp. In 1962, one such demo was presented to Scepter Records, which launched a hit-filled 12 -year association with the label.Known as the artist who “bridged the gap,” Warwick's soulful blend of pop, gospel and R&B music transcended race, culture, and musical boundaries. This award was only presented to one other legend, Miss Ella Fitzgerald.Other African-American female recording artists certainly earned their share of crossover pop and R&B hits during the 1960′s, however, Warwick preceded the mainstream success of her musical peers by becoming the first such artist to rack up a dozen consecutive Top 100 hit singles from 1963-1966.Warwick's performance at the Olympia Theater in Paris, during a 1963 concert starring the legendary Marlene Dietrich, skyrocketed her to international stardom. As Warwick established herself as a major force in American contemporary music, she gained popularity among European audiences as well. In 1968, she became the first solo African-American artist among her peers to sing before the Queen of England at a Royal Command Performance. Since then, Warwick has performed before numerous kings, queens, presidents and heads of state.Warwick's recordings of songs such as “A House is not a Home,” “Alfie,” ”Valley of the Dolls,” and “The April Fools,” made her a pioneer as one of the first female artists to popularize classic movie themes.Warwick began singing during her childhood years in East Orange, New Jersey, initially in church. Occasionally, she sang as a soloist and fill-in voice for the renowned Drinkard Singers, a group comprised of her mother Lee, along with her aunts, including Aunt Cissy, Whitney Houston's mom, and her uncles. During her teens, Warwick and her sister Dee Dee started their own gospel group, The Gospelaires.Warwick attended The Hartt College of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, and during that time, began making trips to New York to do regular session work. She sang behind many of the biggest recording stars of the 1960′s including Dinah Washington, Sam Taylor, Brook Benton, Chuck Jackson, and Solomon Burke, among many others. It was at this time that a young composer named Burt Bacharach heard her sing during a session for The Drifters and asked her to sing on demos of some new songs he was writing with his new lyricist Hal David. In 1962, one such demo was presented to Scepter Records, which launched a hit-filled 12 -year association with the label.Known as the artist who “bridged the gap,” Warwick's soulful blend of pop, gospel and R&B music transcended race, culture, and musical boundaries. In 1970, Warwick received her second GRAMMY® Award for the best-selling album, “I'll Never Fall In Love Again,” and began her second decade of hits with Warner Bros. Records. She recorded half a dozen albums, with top producers such as Thom Bell, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Jerry Ragavoy, Steve Barri, and Michael Omartian. With her smooth, velvety voice, the R&B/Soul singer Meli'sa Morgan is known for her string of urban contemporary hits starting in the mid–1980s through the mid–1990s. Meli'sa began her singing career at nine years old as a member of the Starlets of Corona gospel choir. She went on to study music and theatre at The Juilliard School Performing Arts Conservatory in New York. Meli'sa built a career including collaborations with other performers such as Najee, Kashif, Freddie Jackson, Valerie Simpson, and Mary J. Blige as well as launching a solo career. Meli'sa gained experience as a backup singer with Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, and Melba Moore before releasing her solo debut album Do Me Baby (1985) on Capitol Records. The title track, her cover of the Prince original, topped R&B charts for three weeks. Meli'sa's most notable songs include "Do You Still Love Me" (1986), "Fool's Paradise" (1986) and "Still in Love With You" (1992). To date, she has two Top 20 Albums and four Top 5 hits. Still performing, songwriting and acting, Meli'sa's current work includes her role as Nana in the movie, Footprints of an Angel, as well as releasing the accompanying title track. Meli'sa's next live performance is Valentine's Day at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club with saxophonist, Marion Meadows. Tune in to hear Meli'sa and host, Brad Johnson, as they discuss the building blocks of Meli'sa's career, the experience she gained performing at The Cellar in the early days, Brad's father's popular live venue on NYC's Upper West Side, including the lessons learned and why Brad temporarily fired her. We learn about her experience with the music industry's less than transparent accounting and her advice. On a personal note, hear Meli'sa's life philosophy, how she enjoys spending time between her homes in Queens, NY, South Carolina, and Aruba, and her engagement to the man who won her heart. PART ONE:Fan mail and the hardest job in the world.PART TWO:Scott and Paul chat about the idea of the celebrity producer, and how Jam & Lewis might have set a new mold. PART THREE:Our in-depth interview with Jimmy Jam & Terry LewisABOUT JAM & LEWISWith 26 Billboard #1 R&B hits and 16 Billboard #1 pop hits to their credit, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are perhaps the most influential and successful songwriting and production duo in modern music history. They've recently released their first album under their own names, which is called Volume One.

Keeping up with our “romance / relationship book for February” tradition, we are reading How to Make Anyone Fall in Love With You. While the book does have some scientific fact behind it, it is very much of its time… 1996 to be exact. This is going to be a fun discussion about how to get a first date, as long as you can hop into a time machine and go back two decades. Next months book will be Star Wars: Aftermath by Chuck Wendig.Host: Eugene StephensGuest: Kris Andrew, Jennifer HetzelLike the show? 357 - Jim Ed Brown “Country music is the poetry of the American spirit.” -Steve Maraboli This is an interview I recorded with country music singer and recording artist Jim Ed Brown. A recent visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum reminded me of this interview where Jim Ed Brown talked about his first album in 30 years, entitled “In Style Again.” The year of the album being released, Mr. Brown was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. He passed away June 11, 2015. Jim Ed Brown recorded with his sisters Maxine and Bonnie in their trio “The Browns,” and had hit songs like “million selling “The Three Bells.” In a duo with Helen Cornelius, Brown recorded songs that would become classic country recordings, like “I Don't Want to Have to Marry You” and “Lying in Love With You.” Jim Ed Brown also recorded as a solo artist with songs like “Southern Loving,” “Morning” and his signature song “Pop a Top,” which Alan Jackson also went on to record. On his first album in 30 years, Jim Ed Brown also recorded duets with Vince Gill, the vocal group The Whites, and even reunited with Helen Cornelius on one song. “In Style Again” was produced by Don Cusic and the title track was produced by country music artist Bobby Bare. In addition to his career as a singer, Jim Ed Brown was also a radio personality. He hosted “Country Music Greats Radio Show” and the daily short format “Country Music Greats Radio Minute” which were heard on over 300 radio stations as well as online. Jim Ed Brown was a frequent performer on the Grand Ole Opry, and was a member since 1963. I am glad to have had the opportunity to speak with this great man. I hope you'll listen to the interview and then some of his great music.

When you experience hurt or disappointment in your relationships, do you tend to allow fear to cause you to pull back, or do you make a choice to forgive, love, and move forward? In this episode, Frances and Pam touch on how a marriage, as well as other relationships, can become disconnected through fear. They also share their own experiences of the battle between fear and love in marriage and other relationships. Also in this episode, you'll hear a fun song written and produced by Eric Copeland, President of Creative Soul Records and Positive Spin Songs and the producer of Frances' music. The song, "Falling in Love With You" fits perfectly with the theme of this week's episode.

Marie Dionne Warwick, an American singer, actress, and television show host who became a United Nations Global Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization and a United States Ambassador of Health. She began singing professionally in 1961 after being discovered by a young songwriting team, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. She had her first hit in 1962 with “Don’t Make Me Over.” Less than a decade later, she had released more than 18 consecutive Top 100 singles, including her classic Bacharach/David recordings, “Walk on By,” “Anyone Who Had a Heart,” “Message to Michael,” "Promises Promises,” “A House is Not a Home,” “Alfie,” “Say a Little Prayer,” “This Girl’s in Love With You,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Reach Out For Me,” and the theme from “Valley of the Dolls. ”Together, Warwick and her songwriting team of Burt Bacharach & Hal David, accumulated more than 30 hit singles, and close to 20 best-selling albums, during their first decade together. Warwick received her first GRAMMY® Award in 1968 for her mega-hit, “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and a second GRAMMY® in 1970 for the best-selling album, “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.” She became the first African-American solo female artist of her generation to win the prestigious award for Best Contemporary Female Vocalist Performance. This award was only presented to one other legend, Miss Ella Fitzgerald. Other African-American female recording artists certainly earned their share of crossover pop and R&B hits during the 1960′s, however, Warwick preceded the mainstream success of her musical peers by becoming the first such artist to rack up a dozen consecutive Top 100 hit singles from 1963-1966. Warwick’s performance at the Olympia Theater in Paris, during a 1963 concert starring the legendary Marlene Dietrich, skyrocketed her to international stardom. As Warwick established herself as a major force in American contemporary music, she gained popularity among European audiences as well. In 1968, she became the first solo African-American artist among her peers to sing before the Queen of England at a Royal Command Performance. Since then, Warwick has performed before numerous kings, queens, presidents and heads of state. Warwick’s recordings of songs such as “A House is not a Home,” “Alfie,” ”Valley of the Dolls,” and “The April Fools,” made her a pioneer as one of the first female artists to popularize classic movie themes. Warwick began singing during her childhood years in East Orange, New Jersey, initially in church. Occasionally, she sang as a soloist and fill-in voice for the renowned Drinkard Singers, a group comprised of her mother Lee, along with her aunts, including Aunt Cissy, Whitney Houston’s mom, and her uncles. During her teens, Warwick and her sister Dee Dee started their own gospel group, The Gospelaires. Warwick attended The Hartt College of Music in Hartford, Connecticut, and during that time, began making trips to New York to do regular session work. In 1962, one such demo was presented to Scepter Records, which launched a hit-filled 12 -year association with the label. Known as the artist who “bridged the gap,” Warwick’s soulful blend of pop, gospel and R&B music transcended race, culture, and musical boundaries. In 1970, Warwick received her second GRAMMY® Award for the best-selling album, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again,” and began her second decade of hits with Warner Bros. Records. She recorded half a dozen albums, with top producers such as Thom Bell, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Jerry Ragavoy, Steve Barri, and Michael Omartian. In 1974, she hit the top of the charts with “Then Came You,” a million-selling duet with The Spinners. She then teamed up with Isaac Hayes for a highly successful world tour, “A Man and a Woman.” In 1976, Warwick signed with Arista Records, beginning a third decade of hit-making. Arista Records label-mate Barry Manilow produced her first Platinum-selling album, “Dionne,” which included back-to-back hits “I’ll Never Love This Way Again,” and “Déjà vu.” Both recordings earned GRAMMY® Awards, making Warwick the first female artist to win the Best Female Pop and Best Female R&B Performance Awards. Warwick’s 1982 album, “Heartbreaker,” co-produced by Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees, became an international chart-topper. In 1985, she reunited with composer Burt Bacharach and longtime friends Gladys Knight, Elton John and Stevie Wonder to record the landmark song “That’s What Friends Are For,” which became a number one hit record around the world and the first recording dedicated to raising awareness and major funds (over $3 Million) for the AIDS cause in support of AMFAR, which Warwick continues to support. Throughout the 1980′s and 1990′s, Warwick collaborated with many of her musical peers, including Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross, Jeffrey Osborne, Kashif and Stevie Wonder. Warwick was also host of the hit television music show, “Solid Gold.” In addition, she recorded several theme songs, including “Champagne Wishes & Caviar Dreams,” for the popular television series “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous,” and “The Love Boat,” for the hit series from Aaron Spelling. In November, 2006 Warwick recorded an album of duets, “My Friends & Me,” for Concord Records, a critically acclaimed Gospel album, “Why We Sing,” for Rhino/Warner Records, and a new jazz album, ”Only Trust Your Heart,” a collection of standards, celebrating the music of legendary composer Sammy Cahn for Sony Red/MPCA Records. Additionally, in September 2008, Warwick added “author” to her list of credits with two best-selling children’s books, “Say A Little Prayer,” and “Little Man,” and her first best-selling autobiography, “My Life As I See It” for Simon & Schuster. Always one to give back, Warwick has supported and campaigned for many causes and charities close to her heart, including AIDS, The Starlight Foundation, children’s hospitals, world hunger, disaster relief and music education for which she has been recognized and honored and has raised millions of dollars. In 1987, she was appointed the first United States Ambassador of Health by President Ronald Reagan and in 2002, served as Global Ambassador for Health and Ambassador for the United Nations’ Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO), and she continues to serve as Ambassador today. In recognition of her accomplishments and support of education, a New Jersey school was named in her honor, the Dionne Warwick Institute for Economics and Entrepreneurship. Warwick was also a key participating artist in the all-star charity single, “We Are the World,” and in 1984, performed at “Live Aid.” Celebrating 50 years in entertainment, and the 25th Anniversary of “That’s What Friends Are For,” Warwick hosted and headlined an all-star benefit concert for World Hunger Day in London. In addition, she was honored by AMFAR in a special reunion performance of “That’s What Friends are For,” alongside Elton John, Gladys Knight and Stevie Wonder at AMFAR’s Anniversary Gala in New York City. Warwick also received the prestigious 2011 Steve Chase Humanitarian Arts & Activism Award by the Desert Aids Project and was recognized for her stellar career by Clive Davis at his legendary Pre-GRAMMY® Party in Los Angeles. Adding to her list of landmark honors, Warwick was a 2013 recipient of the coveted Ellis Island Medal of Honor in New York and was inducted into the 2013 New Jersey Hall of Fame. On March 26, 2012, Warwick was inducted into the GRAMMY® Museum in Los Angeles, where a special 50th Anniversary exhibit was unveiled and a historic program and performance was held in the Clive Davis Theater. Additionally, a panel discussion with Clive Davis and Burt Bacharach was hosted by GRAMMY® Museum Executive Director, Bob Santelli. Commemorating her 50th Anniversary, Warwick released a much-anticipated studio album in 2013, entitled “NOW.” Produced by the legendary Phil Ramone, the anniversary album was nominated for a 2014 GRAMMY® Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. “NOW” featured special never-before-released material written by her longtime friends and musical collaborators, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Most recently, Warwick released a much anticipated star-studded duets album titled “Feels So Good,” featuring collaborations with some of today’s greatest artists including Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, Billy Ray Cyrus, Ne-Yo, Gladys Knight, Cee Lo Green, Cyndi Lauper and many more. “Feels So Good” was released through Bright Music Records, Caroline and Capitol. Warwick’s pride and joy are her two sons, singer/recording artist David Elliott and award-winning music producer Damon Elliott, and her family. ~ DionneWarwickonLine.com © 2019 Building Abundant Success!! 2019 All Rights Reserved Join Me on Facebook @ Facebook.com/BuildingAbundantSuccess
http://rosemarysiemens.com Known for her love of sparkle and bling, quirky laugh, and warm, genuine personality, world-class improv violinist and vocalist Rosemary Siemens has mesmerized audiences around the world since the age of three. Hailing from a century-family-farm in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, but currently based in Vancouver, BC, Rosemary is a small-town farm girl dominating the world-stage playing a 300-year-old violin named “Sparkle” that was played in King Louis XIV’s orchestra. She’s performed four times at New York’s Carnegie Hall, played private concerts for two U.S. Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers, and 16-time GRAMMY Award-Winner David Foster, and was the first violinist to ever perform at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican since its first mass in 1483. In addition to having recorded nine-albums as a solo-violinist, Golden West Broadcasting recently commissioned Canadian composer Victor Davies to compose a violin concerto for Rosemary entitled “The Journey”, which was performed by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in a sold-out world premiere at Centennial Concert Hall. In August 2016, Rosemary’s hometown of Plum Coulee, Manitoba, unveiled a sign in her honour at the edge of the town that reads, “Plum Coulee, Home of Rosemary Siemens.” It inspired her to write, record, and release her debut bluegrass album titled, Plum Coulee, My Home, featuring her vocal debut accompanied by her band Rosemary & The Sweet Sound Revival. Since Rosemary’s album release in 2016, Plum Coulee, My Home, won “Best Country/Gospel Album of the Year” at Canada’s 2018 Gospel Music Awards, charted #11 on the Canadian Country-Music Sales Chart, won the 2016 Global Music Award for “Best Bluegrass/Country Album”, and was featured in Billboard Magazine. In March, 2017, Rosemary hit the road on her “Have a Little Faith” tour of Western Canada to promote her album, playing 11 shows in 10 cities including Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary, and her hometown area of southern Manitoba, where her boyfriend, now husband, award-winning jazz saxophonist Eli Bennett, interrupted her show by walking-down the isle while playing “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” on his saxophone and proposed to her on stage in front of a sold-out audience. She said, “Yes!”, and the video of the proposal went viral and was featured on CBC National News, MSN News, and Yahoo. Rosemary has performed in over twenty-five countries as well as the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Hockey Night in Canada, and concerts for Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Walt Disney World for Children’s Miracle Network, the Latin GRAMMY Awards, The Miss America Pageant, L’Oreal Paris, the World Entrepreneur Forum, the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Canada’s Gospel Music Awards, and recently shared the stage in Nashville with gospel artist and 10-time GRAMMY Award-Winner CeCe Winans. Rosemary’s duo group “Roy & Rosemary” recently performed the world premiere of their composition, “The Courtial Concerto” written for the Ambassador of Rome at the world’s largest sacred music festival at the Vatican, and their music video of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” recently went ‘viral’ and has over eighteen million views on YouTube. Rosemary’s passion is to take her violin everywhere – to unexpected locations to touch, inspire, and make people smile through music. From performing for passengers stranded at the Calgary International Airport during Christmas, to bringing a man to tears with a version of the classic hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy” at Rome’s iconic Colosseum, to taking song requests for a U.S. retired veteran at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Nashville, you never know where Rosemary will show up to touch people with her music. You can follow her exciting adventures on social media at @RosemarySiemens.

Marcia Aitken (born c. 1962, Hannah Town, West Kingston, Jamaica) is a reggae singer best known for her recordings in the late 1970s, produced by Joe Gibbs along with Errol Thompson. Aitken's break into the music industry came while she was still a student at Excelsior High School - in her own words: "I was singing at a school concert, and Lloyd Parks and the We the People Band was backing us. They said they liked the sound of my voice, and I became a member of the band after that. Then I began to do recordings for Joe Gibbs". She concentrated on lovers rock and recorded a popular version of the Alton Ellis song "I'm Still in Love With You" (as "I'm Still in Love with You Boy", recorded while still at Excelsior), which was a number one hit in Jamaica and successful UK and US reggae charts, and also formed the basis of Trinity's "Three Piece Suit" and Althea & Donna's "Uptown Top Ranking". She had another Jamaican number one single in 1978 with "My Man", a combination record with Trinity. She also recorded songs by Ansel Cridland of The Meditations, including "Narrow Minded Man", a response to The Meditations' chauvinistic "Woman is Like a Shadow". Aitken recorded a single album, Reggae Impact, produced by Gibbs and Willie Lindo. After completing high school in 1981, Aitken retired from music and moved to Brooklyn, where she opened the Nostrand Eatery with her husband in 1985.
