All of this year's official music videos are out, so the Eurovangelists have enlisted pop culture aficionado Dave Holmes (Troubled Waters, Who Killed The Video Star, MTV) to weigh in on which videos from this year's crop of entrants are Top 10, and which videos are not gonna see much air time. We also talk about who might take it all in this year that feels more wide open than in years past. Everton are crumbling. Two consecutive 3-2 losses after leading 2-0? It's a Premier League disaster, with 13 goals leaked in four games. Dyche's defense is in tatters, while confidence is non-existent. Southampton showed promise for 30 minutes before collapsing, Wolves can't buy a win, and Leicester barely clung to a draw. Even Bournemouth, battering Chelsea, couldn't finish. Meanwhile, Brentford gave City a scare, but Haaland's brilliance crushed them. Liverpool's shocking loss to Nottingham Forest added to the chaos. It's survival of the fittest, and Everton's drowning fast.

The rapid growth of digital infrastructure like AI, edge computing, virtual reality and private clouds is making data centers—once an underappareciated niche—into an increasingly important commercial real estate sector. DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi and CBRE's Pat Lynch share insights on this burgeoning market.ABOUT THIS WEEK'S GUESTS:Marc GanziCEODigitalBridgeMarc C. Ganzi is the Chief Executive Officer at DigitalBridge and has been an investor and operator in the digital infrastructure sector for more than 25 years. Marc has led DigitalBridge's transformation to become a leading global manager of digital infrastructure, managing over $70 billion in assets under management across the digital ecosystem, including cell towers, data centers, fiber, small cells and edge infrastructure. Pat LynchGlobal Head of CBRE Data Center SolutionsPat Lynch, Executive Managing Director for CBRE's Data Center Solutions, acts as an advisor, advocate and partner in navigating the dynamic technology needs for his clients. Pat and his team of professionals develop custom mission-critical strategies that address specific industry challenges and help meet business objectives. Through creative problem solving and transaction structuring, clients experience improved reliability and expense management, and operational efficiencies.KEY TAKEAWAYS:Digital infrastructure is an estimated $13 trillion market, according to DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi; leasing and licensing agreements for fiber space resemble real estate leases.Demand for data centers is significantly outstripping supply, creating opportunities for expansion in emerging domestic and international markets. The industry is grappling with sustainability issues, particularly the effects of heavy power and water usage. This is driving a focus on renewable resources.Ganzi notes the next big trend in digital infrastructure could be network virtualization, moving toward software-defined infrastructure. One manifestation of this is the growth of private clouds, where organizations have better security and control than in the public cloud.
Found Channel Orange in the record store the other day, was bored earlier.. Went back with plans of buying something under 10 bucks just to get out of the house. Pulled up and found a 20 dollar bill folded up in the parking lot. Took it as a sign and bought the Blond album. So in honor of this come up I blasted 2 triple features to debut the albums. Collection is filling out. For those who actually read these, today I found out that Jai Paul is getting a second vinyl release of his Bait Ones album and just because the album cover is slightly different I feel like I need it. Until then, Hungry Like The Wolf by Duran Duran was on the watch list. I think because I watched Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe the other day and Paul Giamatti was fantastic in that movie. I love Paul Giamatti from Big Fat Liar and they play that wolf song in the movie... whatever my subconscious, because of Paul's performance in Cinderella Man, put Duran Duran on the mental queue of records to look for in the store. WHAT an ear beating. Hope someone out there was digging on the 71st installment. Thank you as always for clicking on my garbage. Capt. Kirk of this EnterpriseDJ Witwicky

We all know we celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14th, and we've all heard go 'rounds about where Valentine's Day came from. On this edition of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off by talking about how their Christmas and New Year's went. Then, a person writes in with a botched alien abduction in the Joshua Tree National Forest back in 1979. Next, a Georgia deer hunter was in the Chattahoochee National Forest at his tree stand one late November afternoon when he observed a "Gimmer Man" entity as it moved through the trees around him. After the break, Kyle brings up some bizarre encounters from one of Linda Godfrey's books "I Know What I Saw". The monsters of ancient mythology, folklore, and more contemporary urban legend have long captured the popular imagination. While most people in America today relegate monsters to just that–our imaginations–we continue to be fascinated by the unknown. Linda Godfrey is one of the country's leading authorities on modern-day monsters and has interviewed countless eyewitnesses to strange phenomena. While it may be easy to refer to the UX world as synonymous with the world of Human-Computer Interaction, this episode highlights a population that is excluded by that comparison: animals. Melody Jackson, the Animal-Centered Computing lab director, along with two HCI students who worked in that lab, Josh Terry and Cole Anderson, discuss the curious world of researching and designing for animals. Growing up in the 80s in the US meant being awestruck and beholden to MTV. Seeing artists from all over the world bring their music, color and performances to the small screen opened up the world to those trying to navigate the suburbs. For our generation, Duran Duran was as close as we got to the 2nd coming of The Beatles with their fashion, sound and innovative videos. To wrap up an amazing summer concert series at Hyde Park in London which included two Rolling Stones shows for The Wolf, he took The Wolf Cub so she could dance to her favorite 80s tunes. A little warmer than the first two weekends, we navigated the sun, the groups of moms on a night out and those nostalgic for the heyday of their youth.Hear about Nile Rodgers jumping on stage for a couple of songs, how Nick Rhodes may have misfired A View To A Kill a song early, about the lovely and talented Anna Ross and Rachael O'Connor and how we made our escape.
