This episode of Langes BOG's – Bunch of Geeks is a total gem for anyone who loves seeing young minds on fire with creativity. Host, Mr. Lange sits down with Mr. Christopher Rundle, Superintendent of Gull Lake Community Schools, during Innovation Day 2025 and the result is a fun, inspiring, and deeply geeky conversation.Together, they explore the incredible innovation projects students brought to life from building custom VR games, to launching real businesses, to programming, and even assembling full-blown PCs from scratch. It's a celebration of curiosity, tech, and the kind of hands-on learning that schools everywhere should be paying attention to.More than just a highlight reel, this episode captures the spirit of innovation and the power of giving students the space to explore, fail, and grow. And with Lange and Mr. Rundle both geeking out over the projects like excited kids in a tech toy store, it's as entertaining as it is insightful. If you're passionate about education, technology, or just love hearing about the next generation of makers and creators, this episode is a must-listen.

Hello storylovers! This episode we have two great stories for you! Our first is from storyteller Sarah Rundle from West London. Sarah has performed at Festivals all around the world, she's told tales in museums and theatres, pubs and cafes. I love hearing Sarah's stories because they're often very funny and a bit crazy. And this is very famous old folktale called The Dauntless Girl. It's a slightly spooky story about a girl who thinks she's not scared of anything – even ghosts! If you would like to find out more about Sarah, you can do so HERE. Emily's story is a fishy tale made famous by the fabulous Brothers Grimm. The two brothers Wilhelm and Jacob came from Germany and travelled far and wide collecting folktales and fairy tales. They wrote famous verions of Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, The Bremen Town Musicians and hundreds of other well-loved tales. This tale is all about making a wish. On this episode of the Lead With Purpose podcast host, Tze Ching Yeung talks to Gareth Benson, an IP lawyer, to talk about purpose and how he applies purpose to his work. KEY TAKEAWAYS If you are a purpose-driven business it is still a business & it has to run like one. You cannot change & save the world unless it is providing an opportunity for everyone, including yourself. So, it has to be treated as such. You can only amplify this brilliant idea & take it to the masses by employing millions of people. Your ideas are valuable & they're worthy of your protection. If you're going to create an idea that changes the world then it's got to be protected. It's not incredibly expensive, you can get a trademark insured for around AUS$2,000, & that protects you for 10 years. Mark Getty, of Getty Images, said that IP is the oil of the 21st century, except that it doesn't harm the environment. Ideas are priceless but the opportunity to bring them to market needs to be respected because your ideas have value. The more you share your ideas with others, the more you treat them as assets, the further they will go & the more people they will touch. Education has value. Universities are some of the most powerful brands in the world: Melbourne University, number 1 in Australian, Stanford, Stokholm. Thes institutions licence their IP for very capable people to earn a very good education & they licence it for a fee. Most people don't realise, but education is a massive business in the world, we pay a premium for it, & we pay for the certificate that you get at the end. The second biggest industry in Australian is education. BEST MOMENTS ‘IP is essentially about ideas. I believe in the power of ideas, & I believe the best ideas can change the world.' ‘Purpose & profit do go together because they make the most impact.' ‘You're not an entrepreneur unless you're providing a sustainable business that can affect thousands of people.' ‘We now live in an ideas economy that's being accelerated by AI in front of our eyes.' ABOUT THE GUEST Gareth Benson is a qualified lawyer with the Law Institute of Victoria, admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2003 Gareth commenced his articles with boutique media entertainment practice Hebert Geer and Rundle (now Thomson Geers) and for Bradley Allen lawyers in Canberra, Australia's national capital. Website ABOUT THE HOST Tze Ching started her entrepreneurial journey back in 2007 with the launch of a sustainable clothing & home furnishing ecommerce business. Next, she created a sustainable fashion brand. In 2019, she launched a social enterprise to help raise awareness about the negative impact of fashion at schools & colleges. Through the 15-year journey, she learned so much, but easily the most meaningful lesson learned was about the importance of marketing. She now focuses on channelling those insights to help others succeed through We Disrupt Agency, a business coaching, mentoring & digital marketing company. Tze Ching's mission is to create a community of global change makers and to contribute to positive change in both people & planet. CONTACT DETAILS Website Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn

OPEN. COLD. NO ANSWERS. There is something unsettling when you open a case file and the first thing our eyes go to is usually these two things: the date of the crime and the status. Seeing a case remain OPEN is one of the most difficult crimes to unfold. A story cannot always be told in a linear fashion from beginning to end but more in fragments. It leaves something to be wanted... We live in a world seeking instant gratification and opting for the cases that leave us satisfied...But the ache of a lost one still echoes for those who really remember... the unsolved. I want you to not listen idly by. I want our listeners to hear this story because there is a chance... that someone, somewhere holds the fragments to make this story... whole. Today we talk about a Valentine's Day murder of a mother and her children which is sometimes referred to as the “Lonely Hearts Murders”.On February 14, 1985 Cassandra Rundle and her two children were found brutally murdered in their Colorado Springs home. In the months before her death, Cassandra had taken out personal ads in a local newspaper. She received more than 80 responses and made contact with several men, but no evidence could be found to link any of them to the murders. Years later Police looked at a former soldier named Philip E. Wilkinson, who is currently sitting on death row in North Carolina for the 1992 triple slaying of a mother and her two children. Even though that crime had so many similarities to the Rundle murders, 39 years later the murders of Cassandra and her children remain unsolved. If you have any information about this case, please contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at (719) 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).Sources: https://apps.colorado.gov/apps/coldcase/casedetail.html?id=385 https://www.fox21news.com/news/local/valentines-day-triple-murder-still-unsolved-35-years-later/ https://web.archive.org/web/20160322164426/http://gazette.com/few-left-to-remember-horrific-valentines-day-killings/article/133323 https://web.archive.org/web/20100307083729/http://blogs.denverpost.com/coldcases/2010/02/21/family-of-3-beaten-with-hockey-stick-strangled/ Support the showThanks for listening! Dr. Rundle clarifies its meaning and explains how the exercise of the rule of law has exacerbated injustice. At the same time, Dr. Rundle points towards ways in which the rule of law, when carried out imaginatively and with an emphasis on care for people, has an integral role to play in flourishing societies. Laurel Rundle is the Founder and CEO of Aha! Marketing, a leading provider of targeted product sampling that delivers millions of samples to consumers yearly through thousands of locations. They drive trials and awareness for top consumer products and natural brands. Over the past 20 years, they've worked with companies such as Gerber, Brita, Dove, and Gillette. Laurel puts health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, education, and pet lifestyle brands at the center of human interactions that are already happening. So every brand campaign is delivered through one of their proprietary networks. In this episode… After creating an amazing consumer product, what's next? How do you drive awareness for your product and get it in the hands of your preferred consumers? One sure way to do so is by delivering samples to your target market. This requires partnerships to get the products to the relevant consumers at the right time. However, many consumer brands miss the context involved in driving awareness through trial. They make the mistake of sending product samples out to consumers who don't know them at a time when the product may not be relevant in their lives, thereby making the trial ineffective. How can you do it better? Listen to this episode of the Inspired Insider Podcast with Dr. Jeremy Weisz, featuring the CEO of Aha! Marketing, Laurel Rundle. They discuss Laurel's approach to driving effective trials for consumer brands, why it works, how some big brands use it, and what to think about when you want to drive product awareness through trial.
February 14, 1985. Colorado Springs, Colorado. The bodies of 37-year old Cassandra Rundle and her two children, 12-year old Detrick Sturm and 10-year old Melanie Sturm, are discovered inside their respective bedrooms at their residence. The two females were sexually assaulted and beaten and all three victims have been strangled to death. Since Cassandra had placed some personal ads in a local newspaper and received responses from a number of men, there is speculation that this might be connected to the crime. Years later, Philip Wilkinson, an inmate serving time on death row for the similar murders of another family, is looked at as a possible suspect, but there is no conclusive evidence to implicate him or anyone else. On this week's episode of “The Trail Went Cold”, we explore an unsolved Valentine's Day cold case involving a mother and her children which is sometimes referred to as the “Lonely Hearts Murders”. If you have any information about this case, please contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at (719) 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
