The moment we begin to see Jesus as more than just another literary character or just another prophet or just another historical figure or just another name in a book full of names... the moment we begin to see Jesus as who He says He is, everything changes. Jesus is God and, because God is Love, Jesus is Love. Jesus is Lord over sin. Jesus is Savior. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. Jesus is The One who offers you a second chance. Jesus is The Guide by your side that will never leave you and will never forsake you.Jesus is all of these things and so much more. Which is why an iWitness encounter with Jesus will always demand a response. All throughout Scripture we read story after story of real encounters that real people had with the real Jesus. Some questioned while others sought answers. Some begged while others gave. Some listened while others mocked. Some beat Him while others loved him. Some tempted Him while others stood up for Him.Some fought for Him while others betrayed Him.Some followed while others walked away.Regardless of their response, they all had a real encounter. They saw Jesus and heard Jesus. They witnessed Him. As His Church, as real people who have encountered the real Jesus, we are called and commanded to take our iWitness experiences to the mountaintops. To tell and re-tell of our life-changing, soul-saving experience with our Lord and Savior Jesus. With 5 Simple Truths & Open Hands we can embrace our responsibility and our opportunity to be a part of His cosmic plan to restore humanity to Himself...because an iWitness encounter with Jesus will always demand a response.

Well, it happened. The second season of Northwest Christian's student-led, podcast-based audio drama "I Witness" went viral. Again. The first season ("The Lazarus Project") was published in April 2024 and was a viral sensation in its own right. But the second season ("Silent Night"), released over four consecutive weeks in December 2024, went gloriously viral. Featured by Apple podcasts as part of the lead-off podcast promotional page for podcasts in the "Arts" genre, I Witness spanned the globe and became one of the top 50 Arts podcasts on Apple podcasts. The heart and mind behind I Witness is Chris Zimmerman, also the founder of Red Five Media. Just as soon as Ronnie James Dio returned to Black Sabbath for the Dehumanizer record, he just as quickly departed again to make room (also again) for the return of Tony Martin. Given the spottiness (to be generous) of previous Martin led Sabbath albums we were skeptical and not necessarily excited about diving into Cross Purposes however, our concerns were quickly alleviated. From Track One / Side One, "I Witness” on, the might and heaviness of Black Sabbath is back and there is now a seemingly newly discovered restraint in Martin's vocal performance. Most of it all, Cross Purposes sounds like a capital “S" Sabbath album. While the constant across every album is Tony Iommi, the constant across all the great to good Sabbath albums is Geezer Butler. The Geez is the special Sabbath sauce! We'd hoped it would be big. For the sake of the students and staff who poured their hearts and talents into it, we were praying that the reception for I Witness would honor their efforts.God answered those prayers! I Witness--the story of a group of high school students who go back in time, via virtual reality, to Bethany in the first century--has been blowing up literally all over the country! And, to date, nearly two dozen countries outside the U.S.!So, today, Geoff and the podcast's mastermind, Chris Zimmerman of Red Five Media, sit down to discuss the viral podcast and ask some looming questions...Will there be a season 2 of I Witness? Will we hear more from Miles or Quinn? To listen or learn more about "I Witness--The Lazarus Project", please follow this link. Who says podcasts have to be only audio? Introducing part 2 of this landmark “audiozine” episode on Sherwin Felix, the millennial food content creator behind the digital archive Lokalpedia, which has a unique heritage take on Philippine cuisine. This podcast has always had a video counterpart posted on certain platforms, but video only of the online interviews. One of Howie's I-Witness documentaries was repurposed for a podcast episode. To produce this audiozine our podcast team actually had to leave our homes. Shooting on location for the first time, we went to the Taal lakeshore in Batangas to produce video of Sherwin in a natural setting with a table of little known Philippine heirloom food ingredients. It was a refreshing respite from our usual zoom encounters with thought leaders. Don't get used to it. This format is a special occasion to mark this podcast's third anniversary. We will continue to innovate and occasionally produce audiozines. Our team enjoyed producing this one as it was a chance to see each other face to face as well as hold, smell and taste the delectable objects our guest was talking about with so much passion. Producer: Eumer Yanga Researcher: Jenica Villanueva Editor: Jayr Magtoto

ABOUT THE EPISODE ALPHECCA PERPETUA finally decides to go for broke and try "professional" to see how it'll get on, but still fails miserably and yet stays insufferably true to the podcast's brand. She finally follows the script and is now deluded that she has leveled up. She burps, she warms her vocals real time, she meditates, she sings, then she rants. And then she rambles on to corelate moist chocolate cakes to Justin Timberlake, Neuroscience, Adolescent Brains, Politically Savvy Women, Sociopaths, and more nonsense. She has now reached sentience on how supersaturated her personality is, and has convinced herself that the world is flat. And that she may be eating cows, flies, and horses for breakfast. So please take heed: DO NOT LISTEN. Rigged Game - Blackjack, Card Counting, Slots, Casinos, poker and Advantage Play Podcast
This episode starts when I leave home around 5:00 p.m. Saturday night. I travel to my first casino and realized that I am outnumbered. There are so many AP players at this location that I don't even try to make money. I move on to my second spot and realize some small games. And then I move on to my real destination of the day. I end up very at blackjack and spend over 3 hours getting out of the hole. I witnessed some crazy things and I report some unusual stories. I Witness a table of five players playing double deck Blackjack at $1,000 per hand. I also witness a guy splitting threes against the nine and putting sevens against the 10. I sit next to this man for 3 hours as he takes $5,000 swings per hand at points in our play. Overall a lot of things happening and a lot of fun stories. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mw-usa/support

We start a new worship series entitled, "I Witness." This is a series on the encounters of Jesus post-resurrection. Today we look at a well-known story of Thomas and the resurrected Christ. Join us as we explore the idea that doubt leads to a deeper faith. Please join us at 10:00 am in person (1630 Statesville Blvd in Salisbury, NC) or online at the link below. Thank you again for worshipping with us. For more information about our congregation, please visit our website at milfordhillsumc.org. If you would like to support Milford Hills UMC in our mission to Love, Serve, and Live as Christ, please feel free to go to milfordhillsumc.org/give and support our congregation through or Tithe.ly app.
Happy Easter! God bless you for being such a witness to Jesus rising from the dead. You are an I Witness! Not an E-Y-E witness because we were not there but an I Witness, because you are giving witness to Jesus rising from the dead by what you tell others and by the way you live your life, if you live like a true believer. Yes if you live like a true believer, teach and tell others about Christ, you are an I Witness. But for many of us there is also a certain type of doubt. The doubt that casts its shadow over Easter is the doubt that you and I can really walk in newness of life, that we can become a new creation, that we can be changed and filled with the Holy Spirit. We might feel that the stone in our life is too massive, too big. That Jesus rose to new life is easy to believe. We doubt that we can rise to new life in him. What is the solution for such doubt. We have some suggestions.
Howie Severino catches up with his colleague Mav while she's traveling solo, by accident, in Europe. In a wide-ranging convo, Mav shares what it's like to be a young woman reporting on male athletes, a rising journalist who has finally attained her dream of producing documentaries, and a millennial constantly badgered about being single. She talks about her first taste of TV journalism as an eight-year-old host of Chikiting Patrol, her proudest moment as a reporter, and how she's dealt with stalkers. “Considering all the sacrifices a journalist makes — the dangers, the trolls, the effect on your social life, the missing out on so many family events because of assignments,” Howie asks near the end of their conversation, “is journalism worth it?” Mav gives an honest, moving answer.
