What is it that helps someone transition from homeless to housed? We're looking at new analysis of data from the Canadian Housing Survey to explore exactly that. In conversation with Peter Tilley, the CEO of the Ottawa Mission, and Jeff Randle, Chief of the Housing Need Project section at Statistics Canada, we're asking why homelessness (and homelessness data!) is more complex than you might think, what factors most often led to regaining housing, and why housing can be challenging to maintain even after it's been regained. The Daily — Exiting homelessness: Results from the 2022 Canadian Housing Survey

Get ready for an extraordinary journey through the ever-evolving sphere of California politics with my special guest, Jeff Randle, a seasoned conservative political consultant. Jeff shares his compelling story, from his roots in La Mirada, Los Angeles County, to the influential moments that sparked his political ambitions. He takes us through his early days—starting with an unforgettable experience at the 1980 Republican National Convention and a pivotal internship with U.S. Senator Pete Wilson. Despite facing initial setbacks, Jeff's determination eventually led to remarkable career milestones, shaping his future in the world of political consulting. In the midst of Jeff's narrative, we gain unique insights into his strategic shift from political consultancy to entrepreneurship. Learn about his pivotal role at Storza Communications, the challenges posed by the 9/11 attacks, and the serendipitous meeting with Arnold Schwarzenegger that would redefine his career. Jeff recounts the exhilarating 60 days following Schwarzenegger's dramatic Tonight Show announcement and offers an insider's perspective on the contrasting campaign styles of Schwarzenegger and Pete Wilson. From helicopter rides to sheriff's conferences, we get a behind-the-scenes look at the dynamic and often chaotic world of political campaigns and the camaraderie that fueled Republican successes in California. We also touch on the broader shifts in California's political landscape, exploring the decline of Republican influence and the rise of structural advantages for Democrats. Jeff provides a candid analysis of the changing demographics, union support, and the potential for a business-oriented independent candidate to make waves in future elections. We'll close with a look into the evolving landscape of political consulting, the future of American elections, and the essential need for a return to civility and constructive discourse in politics. Join us for a comprehensive exploration of California politics and the intriguing career of Jeff Randle. Let the Hiatus Begin! It's hard to believe that we've covered the first three films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe one minute at a time, but that's where we are. (Then again, it's hard to imagine how long it'll take to get through the rest of the MCU!) We've covered Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and just wrapped on Iron Man 2. Kenneth Branagh's 2011 film Thor is coming up next, but first... it's time for our hiatus! We promise this break between Iron Man 2 and Thor will be shorter than the last! COVID threw the schedule off a bit between seasons two and three. We know that. With that in mind, this break will be much shorter. So short, in fact, that the first episode of Season 4: Thor (or T4or as we're calling it) is going to pop up in your feeds in just a few weeks! Before that happens, though, let's take a respite to cleanse our palates and get ready for the MCU's first trip to space. All New Hosts! The first change that you'll notice with our new season, starting in this hiatus episode, is that we have new hosts. Now if you listened to all the credits episodes for Iron Man 2, you would've heard Kyle's and Rob's interview with them and this wouldn't be a surprise. All the same, it's time for you to join Matthew Fox from Stranded Panda and our very own founder of Marvel Movie Minute himself, Andy Nelson. It's going to be a fun season as these two jump in to talk all things Thor. It's Time for Space Gods! In preparation for the Asgardians, Yggdrasil, Mjolnir and everything else from Norse mythology that we'll be discussing in this fourth season, Matthew and Andy invited Jeff Randle from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Podcast – a mega Thor fan – to discuss the comics, his favorite runs, the Norse myths, and more. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this hiatus episode that's a bit of a comic primer, a bit of a mythology primer, and a lot of fun. Randle Communications recently released their third annual Digital Influencer Report, tracking digital advocacy trends in 2019. Sad to say that the Capitol Weekly Podcast didn't make the list, but we won't hold that against them. Randle worked with Zignal Labs, hotshots in the field of social media analysis, to produce data for the report. Short take: this year’s report found that digital advocacy is more essential to public affairs and the California Legislature than ever before. Nearly all 120 legislators, and all statewide elected officials are on Twitter; some, like Senator Lorena Gonzalez and Governor Newsom, are thriving in the new social media environment. John Howard and Tim Foster sat down with CEO Jeff Randle in his office at 500 Capitol Mall (with maybe the most spectacular view in Sacramento) to talk about the report and how Twitter has changed politics.

Jeff Randle of Unveiled Life joins us today to discuss the topic of unveiled Christianity and what a modern Christian is supposed to look like. Jeff talks about the various pillars of growth and power that believers have access to. In our discussion, we discuss the role of being in a different state of growth, and how weird things start to happen on this side of the cross. Later, we discuss what Jesus’ hidden mission on the Earth. In this mission, we find out that in addition to, not only saving us, but Jesus came to do additional work. Unveiled Life, the ministry, is a work that is aimed at awaking His Ecclesia to the glorious riches they have in Christ and the potential they have through Christ who is their ‘cause of expectation’ (“hope”) of Glory. It is a work that is built around witnesses of such realities, thus the focus is not academic but practical – and, not founded on hearsay and study but on eye-witness and experience, in alignment with scriptural Truth.

In this episode, Joe is joined by Jeff Randle from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Podcast to talk about a movie the Razzies dubbed the worst film of the decade (2001-2010). It’s Battlefield Earth! A staple of bad movie appreciation. Joe and Jeff talk about how much they enjoy the film and don’t understand how it gets such a bad rap. They talk about its flaws, the attention to detail created in the film’s reality, the need to sometimes just turn your brain off and have fun with a movie, and don’t even bash on scientology because we don’t understand what it is. All the while, we get some patented Jeff Randal reenactments, and Joe gives Jeff a brand new catchphrase.
