Weekly Anime Recap time! Maxwell and Davis go full send on eight shows: My Hero Academia (S9E6) keeps cooking as Deku dives into Shigaraki's core—ghost-quirk chorus, blackwhip feints, and hype BGM galore. There is been one disappointment after another recently. Chatty Patty almost goes to a Kodansha House lottery event, Crunchyroll suddenly doesn't know how to make subtitles, and Wandance's animation is a disgrace. At least with the bitter there is a little bit of sweet in the form of some Fall 2025 anime that caught our attention.
