We loved having bandleader and drummer/percussionist Dom Palombi back to talk about his new album, Dom Palombi's Game Night! Vol. 2. There are about twice as many musicians on this album than on Vol. 1, with what Dom describes as more personal track choices than before. The musicianship is just beyond measure, and it's a fun, adventurous, delightful, funky romp through some great tunes. The three originals are fantastic. ENJOY! Join us on Discord for free. After a short break with Now Playing, the crew dives into the news giving you a recap and thoughts on the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, eShops shutting down, the latest NSO Game Trial in Japan and SO much more. Before getting to some feedback, JC hits you in the face with some AWESOME games that can be had on the cheap while Ty climbs out of his anime trash just in time to throw more on the pile.Members: Danny, James, TySpecial Guest: Genki_JPN(00:00:00) Intro(00:03:11) Ty - Lethal League Blaze, King of Fighters XV(00:14:30) James - Doom Eternal, The Witcher 3(00:29:20) Genki - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (PS5)(00:38:55) Danny - Pokémon Legends: Arceus(00:44:45) Now Playing at TheFamicast.com(00:46:30) JAPANews - Nintendo Direct (Feb 2022) Japan Exclusives(00:52:28) JAPANews - Nintendo Direct Recap(01:40:07) JAPANews - Capcom Fighting Games & RIP eShop(01:57:48) JAPANews - New BALLER Game Trial for Japan(01:59:15) JAPANews - Majora's Mask to Expansion Pack(02:00:29) Fukubukuro of Fabulousness(02:06:00) Ty's Anime Trash: The Unboxing(02:20:41) Feedback(02:26:47) OutroThank you so much for subscribing, listening and your support!Email: thefamicast (at) gmail (dot) comPatreon: patreon.com/thefamicastTwitter: @thefamicastYouTube: youtube.com/thefamicast Hosted on Acast. Bryce & Gibby are ready to talk about there near death experiences, life, gaming news & video games! Bryce starts off with his near death experience when he went to the carnival then Bryce has some beef with a friend that they might have settle in a Yu-Gi-Oh Duel match, Gibby said on the last pod since Microsoft bought Call of Duty they should just scrap it & make a new FPS so they circle back on how that is crazy move to do. The Gang switch things up a bit & start off with the news first with Pokémon Legends: Arceus selling 6.5 Millions copies, Call of Duty won't be exclusive & will remain on Playstation & what was the point of buying Activation is there something we aren't seeing, then the they discuss how Battlefield 2042 didn't reach sales numbers, content being pushed back months later & people starting not to play it anymore, will going free-to-play help them in the long run or will EA pull the plug on this. Bryce & Gibby run down by far the best Nintendo Direct they have seen & the internet agrees too then Bryce shows his love for Destiny 2 & Bungie since SONY BOUGHT THEM FOR 3.6 BILLION DOLLARS. What will happen next with Bungie having so much extra funds now, will we finally get a Destiny 3, will they still vault content away, will they just call it Destiny from here on out? Bryce & Gibby discuss Pokémon Legends: Arceus Gibby says this by far the best Pokémon that Nintendo has ever made so far while Bryce is having some what of struggling time playing the game, is he not having fun, is Pokemon not for him anymore or is he just trash at the game overall. Bryce beats Resident Evil 2 Remake & can't wait to play Claire's story along with playing Resident Evil 3 then Bryce gets into Orc Massage which YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS on him talking about it & describing what you do in this game it's a wild ride. Gibby beats Incrysption & is also playing Lethal League: Blaze he is prepping himself for a rematch for Bryce but we will see how that goes. Finally Bryce & Gibby are playing It Takes Two, Gibby likes it but Bryce thinks its an ok for the most part & doesn't think it deserved Game of The Year at the Video Game Awards. Be part of the show & ask us ANY question video game related or not! nevergameoverpod@gmail.com or drop a comment & we will read them on the next podcast! TIMESTAMPS: 00:02:42 - Gibby gave Bryce COVID but both of them are alive & well! 00:08:25 - Bryces goes the carnival & almost dies 00:11:20 - INTRLCMD made a NEW song! 00:12:00 - Bryce has beef with Jova possible a Yu-Gi-Oh Duel 00:15:24 - Circle Back on Call of Duty 00:20:48 - Bryce fixes camera 1 Technical Difficulties 00:22:58 - Pokémon Legends: Arceus sells 6.5 Millions copies 00:25:22 - Call of Duty won't be exclusive & will remain on PlayStation 00:31:03 - Battlefield 2042 not selling, not enough players playing & still buggy 00:37:19 - Nintendo Direct 00:50:36 - Sony bought Bungie 01:01:34 - Pokémon Legends: Arceus 01:10:17 - Resident Evil 2 Remake 01:15:50 - Orc Massage 01:30:52 - Incrysption 01:40:45 - Lethal League Blaze 01:41:19 - It Takes Two 01:48:02 - End of Show! Fighting games are now a niche genre and Game Pass doesn't have many, but can this brawler/tennis combo break through?
YOU KNOW THE VIBES, you know what Bryce & Gibby came here to do on The Never Game Over Podcast & that is talk your ear off about video games & game news BUT before that Bryce does a deep dive on his retro collection that he has a love/hate relationship but still continues to collect & look for the games he wants, will he complete his Metal Gear Solid Collection, will he get that PS2 or Dreamcast that he keeps thinking about every time he goes into the retro store & will he find Star Fox Adventures finally!? Bryce brings up a new a segment for the pod aka Circle Back as they correct themself about Halo Infinite as they were both unsure if this was a reboot or not on the last episode, Gibby hasn't been playing that much but still is able to put in a few hours into Breathe of the Wild & still more of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Bryce comes in with the games he has been playing, starts of with Manhunt does a little break down on the game & talks about how graphic, brutal & weird that game is & yet it was still fun to play as weird as that sound then he jumps into Pokémon Unite he is amazed on how broken the game is compared to Dota 2, League of Legends & Heroes of the Storm BUT it is still a really fun game to play ven though it's still a MOBA it's doing something slightly different in it's own way, the final game is Lethal League Blaze but before that Bryce & Gibby have a minor discussion if Lethal League is a fighting game or not then they talk about Lethal League Blaze for reals. Bryce & Gibby put in there feedback on the Dead Space Remake announcement even though it was a very small snippet of the trailer but both are optimistic about what is going to come from this remake & what else would they want in the game & how could they improve on it, they are also excited about the Battlefield 2042 Portal mode, followed up with sad news of the PS Vita finally closing submission for any new games to come to that handheld console & finally Death Stranding sold 5 Million copies & people are saying it is a failure so Bryce does a deep on video game sales numbers & a little about video game inflation. This week Brett and Walker visit one of their least played genres, fighting games, with Injustice 2 and Lethal League Blaze. Injustice 2 features DC comic characters but is made by the same people that make Mortal Kombat so shares much of that DNA. Lethal League Blaze is a very different game that oozes style and a great aesthetic that Brett and Walker absolutely love. Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. Ahhh...that's more like it. We're back to our more typical habits this week, and polishing off games that we've talked about in previous episodes. Uncle Randall is back on his bullshit, trying to rebuild the Pistons from scratch around Blake Griffin in NBA 2K19. But can he get past LeBron? He also plays Miles & Kilo along with Kevin, who actually finishes a game for once. Kevin & DJ also check out the demo for a brand new, local/online multiplayer game, Lethal League Blaze—a fighting game, baseball hybrid?! Kevin rounds out his week with a couple more platformers—one, an action-puzzler, MagiCat, and the other...you guessed it...a roguelite, just released this week, Eagle Island. Randall highlights a personal favorite of his on the Switch, Marble it Up!, a Super Monkey Ball/Marble Madness spiritual successor of sorts. DJ beats the The Messenger twice and proceeds to turning his brain off to revisit an old past time of competitive online gaming. He's back on Uncharted & Rocket League this week, and he won't stop until he wins a game, goddammit! **Links to Kevin's Twitch streams of Miles & Kilo and Eagle Island are clickable in the timestamp section below** Discussed:Lethal League Blaze - 00:03:22Miles & Kilo - 00:12:31The Messenger: Picnic Panic DLC - 00:22:50MagiCat - 00:30:15Marble it Up! - 00:38:05Uncharted: Lost Legacy / Uncharted 4: Online Multiplayer - 00:46:50Rocket League - 00:50:22Eagle Island - 00:55:06The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - 01:06:21NBA 2K19 - 01:14:15*GOTM - 01:22:27 *July's GOTM is Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.

In this hot new episode we discuss Lethal League Blaze, The PS1 Classic, and the Nintendo Direct! For the second half we talk about the newest PS4 exclusive, Spider-Man. It starts off as general talk about the game, but we eventually move into spoilers at 1:33:52. So if you're not prepared end your listening there!
This week, Kamijace brings on 2Mello and Paul to talk about indie games and developers--including Dotemu, Streets of Rage 4 and Lethal League Blaze--as well as music in gaming! Plus, the three go over Square Enix's bold move to take down The Last Remnant, only to release an updated, HD Remake of the game later! And, Mello brings on some amazing recommendations for games you should be playing (and watching out for), including "Get in the Car, Loser!"-- a Lesbian JRPG Travel game. Sounds like the game we need in 2018.
