I was born and raised in Southern California. I came to the Central Valley on a baseball scholarship in 2006, and for 13 years, I have called Fresno my home. I played baseball at Fresno State from 2006 to 2009. My resume features 4 WAC championships, first-team All-WAC catcher, and first-team All-Regional catcher in 2007. The unforgettable event that had a huge impact on my life was winning the 2008 NCAA College World Series. Playing baseball for 18 years of my life taught me many things. At the college level, it forced me to be accountable and learn how to manage sports and academics at the same time. It also taught me that teamwork is more important and powerful than any one individual on the team. I have taken that mentality into the workforce. With the support of my staff, I strive to bring the best possible customer service to my clients. Real estate is what I love, and helping my clients is my passion. I have been with Coldwell Banker for 11 years now. As the market changes and evolves over time, you need a full-time agent who can keep up with and who understands the specifics of the market in the Valley. With over 60 million dollars in sales, I have successfully had to adapt to and learn to manage many different market trends. I also have a keen interest in investing and have personally bought into the rental property market. If you have questions about what to look for or need a place to start, please do not hesitate to call me. My assistant and I are available 24/7, and we are here to meet our clients' individual needs and to help people achieve their real estate goals. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/pursuit-of-property/message

Ever since she was younger, Laura Rutledge has been the living embodiment of the mentality “Can’t stop, won’t stop.” Growing up, she was a serious ballet dancer and focused on music. And, in a way, she says ballet and music were almost like her first job, because through them she was always working so hard to get to that next opportunity. Whether it was a scholarship or a professional job as a ballet dancer, they were her goals, so working toward them became her job. Ballet requires a level of perfection, Laura tells us in today’s conversation. And it was a level that required her to stay focused on one goal at a time. She credits this thought process for benefitting her career today at ESPN. At the network, Laura is the co-anchor of morning show Get Up!, one of the lead reporters for the network’s college sports coverage, and the host of SEC Nation every fall on SEC Network. And, in August she debuted The Moment with Laura Rutledge, a new show on SEC Network about making sports fans’ dreams come true. Sign up for our newsletter and find more interviews: www.iwantherjob.com Follow us https://www.instagram.com/iwantherjob/ Laura also is one of ESPN’s College Football Playoff reporters, and was assigned to the CFP semi-finals the past two seasons. She is a reporter for the network’s marquee Super Tuesday college basketball games and serves as the network’s lead reporter for the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament. Elsewhere in the world of college spots, Laura also covered the SEC Softball Tournament and NCAA Women’s College World Series. She’s also ESPN’s lead reporter for the SEC Baseball Tournament and NCAA College World Series. In addition, Laura has anchored many episodes of SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight, and she’s worked as a red carpet host at the ESPYS last year and this year. Last fall, she made her NFL reporting debut on Monday Night Football. Just a week ago Laura received a new title – Mom – giving birth to her first baby, a daughter named Reese Katherine Rutledge. It was the perfect birthday gift for a mom, who will now forever share her birthday with her daughter. Read on to learn how one of the hardest working women in sports organizes her day, fights off sick days, prepares for a handful of shows, and manages to look incredibly chic and classy in the process.

What a special treat for you the listener but it was a fantastic time for me sitting down with the one and only Mackenzie Nemitz - a proud Lake Shore High School Alumni along with current member of the red hot Michigan Wolverines Women's softball team. Join me for a fantastic conversation with her about the ups and downs of life - softball and the great relationships she has made along her journey. So many lessons here about overcoming things in life - not just the knee injury she had during her sophomore year. It was so inspiring for me to sit down with her and to learn a few lessons myself. She's a delightful young lady who is going places in life. I am blessed and highly favored to call her a friend now and I'm so happy and grateful she found a little bit of time to sit down with me here today. Please make sure you keep tabs on her and her awesome U of M teammates as the finish up the season and head into the Big 10 Playoffs and hopefully a long trip to the NCAA College World Series. Paul Chandler is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the baseball program and the Gator softball program at the University of Florida. His responsibilities include designing and implementing year-round strength, speed and conditioning workouts for the Gators in the Griffin/Oakley Strength and Conditioning Center. Chandler guides each student-athlete through an individual training program designed to enhance strength as well as explosive power, speed, agility, endurance, coordination, balance, flexibility and mental toughness. In addition to working with UF’s baseball program, which made three-consecutive NCAA College World Series appearances for the first time in school history from 2010-12 under his direction and claimed consecutive Southeastern Conference titles in 2010 and 2011, Chandler picked up strength and conditioning duties working with UF’s softball squad prior to the 2011 season. His work played a key role last season as the Gators captured the SEC regular-season and tournament titles en route to a berth at the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City and notched the team’s fifth 50-win season. The SMARTER Team Training Audio Interview Series has been developed to share insights from some of the best in the industry.
