Should sexual predators be eligible for awards? Debate starts at 22:54. Director, writer and producer, Tremain Hayhoe (https://twitter.com/TremainHayhoe) joins us this week. He's responsible for casting both me and Rucka in a movie together! Can the silver screen handle so much sex-appeal? Being that the same amount of sex-appeal was seen in my first movie, Ooga Booga, the answer is yes. Speaking of sex-appeal, know who has none? Harvey Weinstein. We debate whether or not pieces of shit like him should be eligible for awards. Is it discrimination if students ask for only non-white roommates, or should it be allowed? Or maybe it's discrimination and it should still be allowed. A student from Claremont Colleges in California recently did just that, looking to create a "safe space" inside her home: I debate the merits of this claim with this week's guest, director of marketing from Full Moon Entertainment, and alternate-lifestyle evangelist, Wry. Full Moon Entertainment, if you'll recall, is the company behind my masterpiece film debut, Ooga Booga. Also, here is a quick survey to help out the show: http://survey.libsyn.com/madcastmedia I received a metric shit-ton of voicemail at the top of the show, thanks in no small part to Rucka's various shenanigans about minutes that are allegedly Armenian. Though there's a silver lining: we're receiving a lot more calls from Sean's old Italian in-laws. The voicemail number is: 1-562-58-I-RULE (1-562-584-7853). madcastmedia.com Sources Washington Post - Debate flares after black college students seek a non-white roommate - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/grade-point/wp/2016/08/11/debate-flares-after-black-college-students-seek-a-non-white-roommate/ Nolo.com - Federal Fair Housing act of 1968 - https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/free-books/renters-rights-book/chapter5-2.html Daily Mail - College denounces black students non-white roommate request - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3736026/College-denounces-black-students-non-white-roommate-request.html NY Daily News - Uproar at Claremont Colleges (video) - http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/request-non-white-roommates-sparks-uproar-calif-colleges-article-1.2750738 PC Gamer - Nintendo issues DMCA notice against Metroid II remake, project AM2R - http://www.pcgamer.com/nintendo-issues-dmca-notice-against-that-really-good-metroid-ii-fan-remake/ Gazette.com - Boy decapitated on waterslide at Kansas Park - http://gazette.com/source-boy-was-decapitated-on-waterslide-at-kansas-park/article/1582407 "Mining by Moonlight" and "Music to Delight" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
The only word that can describe Wayne Flemming is indescribable. But in an inadequate attempt, I would say he’s a master comic, a genius storyteller, a brilliant performer and an amazing friend. Celebrated as one of the original trailblazers of Canadian comedy, he defined “funny” for most comedians that met him. Recently, Wayner (that’s what he liked his close friends to call him) passed on to discover the ultimate “Ooga Booga.” Although he’s no longer with us, he’s more present than ever. This episode features flemmories from Simon Rakoff, Paul Haywood, Mark Walker and Deb Conlon and serves as a tribute to the man who was mentor and friend to myself and so many. Episode 23 is all yours Wayner. Just like I promised.
Ooga Booga follows an innocent African American medical student who is brutally murdered by a dirty cop, but his soul is magically transferred into an action figure named Ooga Booga. With only his tribal spear and old girlfriend to help he takes to the streets and trailer parks to find the men that ended his once bright future.
