Ep.628This episode is a long, volatile live conversation built around Victor Hugo Vaca Jr. and Myke Hideous, with Michael steering a broadcast that repeatedly swings between political outrage, free speech conflict, conspiracy claims, personal feuds, and surreal off the rails call ins. The tone is combative, chaotic, and intentionally provocative, with the guests often treating the show like a battleground for exposing liars, calling out institutions, and attacking public figures they believe are corrupt or misleading.A major early thread is the fallout around Jim Fetzer. The show revisits prior conflict, then Fetzer himself calls in, leading to a heated stretch packed with accusations, insults, and bizarre claims about religion, identity, research credibility, and censorship. The hosts frame the call as both a “train wreck” and a revealing example of the type of drama the program thrives on.From there, the discussion broadens into a larger worldview: politicians are portrayed as “selected” rather than elected, media narratives are treated as manipulation, and public systems are described as tools of control. The conversation repeatedly returns to themes of propaganda, mind control, weather warfare, poisoned food and water, transhumanism, and hidden power structures, with the speakers arguing that much of what people believe is engineered to keep them docile or distracted. The political commentary becomes increasingly expansive and intense. Trump, Biden, Kennedy, Obama, and other figures are all discussed through a lens of betrayal, broken promises, or hidden agendas. The conversation also moves into Iran, Israel, Hamas, radical Islam, the NPT, and geopolitical deception, often blending firsthand travel impressions with broad claims about intelligence operations, false flags, and elite influence. The middle and later portions of the show drift deeper into conspiracy heavy territory. The speakers discuss 9/11 inconsistencies, the Smith Mundt Act, Epstein, alleged propaganda systems, alleged state sponsored trauma, Bigfoot, Nephilim, aliens, and claims about staged deaths or media coverups. A number of caller segments amplify the unpredictability, including crude, shocking, and sometimes openly hateful remarks that further intensify the show's chaotic energy. At the same time, there are smaller moments of humanity and relief: a New Zealand caller praises the hosts, some discussion turns to art and creative life, and the host briefly acknowledges technical issues and the length of the program. By the end, the episode feels like a marathon of confrontation, anti establishment ranting, and bizarre freewheeling commentary, ending with thanks to the guests, callers, and audience for sticking through the ride.

EP.625Michael and Myke have a loose, uncensored conversation centered on personal stories, relationship drama, and dark humor. They talk about Myke's special needs cat, then move into frank recollections of bad relationships, trust issues, pregnancy scares, and the fallout from moving in with the wrong person. The discussion also covers marriage, prenups, dating dynamics, and the risks of commitment, with both men speaking bluntly about money, loyalty, and regret. Later, they share stories about nude photos, modeling, and suspicious behavior in past relationships, and the episode ends with a shocking story from their youth involving intimacy.
EP.624Michael Decon hosts a wide ranging and provocative conversation with Myke Hideous and Daniel, blending humor, philosophy, spirituality, and personal storytelling. What begins with light banter about hair loss and aging evolves into an intense exploration of religion, Satanism, friendship, forgiveness, and modern belief systems. The trio discusses how family and faith shape identity, with Myke opening up about his decade long journey into Satanism, his views on freedom of belief, and the symbolism behind the left hand path. They contrast these ideas with Daniel's embrace of Christianity and the power of personal transformation, touching on the nature of prayer, magic, and the human search for meaning. The conversation dives deep into historical interpretations of Jesus, Gnosticism, and occult philosophy, while drawing surprising parallels to contemporary topics like AI, Hollywood's fascination with dark imagery, and global politics. Along the way, Myke shares vivid stories from his music career with The Misfits, ritual experiences, and reflections on the value of forgiveness after creative and professional fallouts.Balancing wit and introspection, the group discusses evolution, extinction, government power, and faith in science, questioning both religion and reason with open curiosity. As the show closes, each guest reflects on spiritual evolution, friendship, and the importance of humility in turbulent times.
Full Episode Patreon.com/michaeldeconEP.134This episode of The Michael Decon Show kicks off with signature humor and camaraderie as Michael and co-host Myke Hideous settle in for another unpredictable night of conversation. Things start lightheartedly when Myke's cat steals the spotlight by getting tangled in the mic cables, prompting laughs before the pair shifts into a chat about their wildly different climates Myke freezing through 20 degree nights in New Jersey, while Michael jokes that 60°F counts as “winter” in California. The tone turns somber as the hosts reflect on the death of action legend Chuck Norris at 86 following an undisclosed medical emergency in Hawaii. They trade memories of his decades long influence in film and pop culture, while also poking fun at the inevitable wave of Chuck Norris memes and conspiracy theories flooding the internet. From there, the discussion deepens into controversy, with Michael and Myke debating posthumous abuse allegations against Cesar Chavez and questioning where society should draw the line when judging historical figures in hindsight. The two segue into candid talk about podcast industry drama, as Michael reflects on his approach to staying neutral amid guest disputes like those between Victor Hugo and Jim Fetzer, and shares personal anecdotes about cutting ties with people who revealed their true colors off-air.The conversation grows heavier as Michael addresses the ongoing conflict in Iran, voicing frustration with Israel's tactics, & (ours) which he argues have fueled instability across the region. He warns of potential ripple effects reaching the U.S., especially along the California coast, where he admits feeling uneasy about military or civilian targets being caught in global escalation.
Lucy Zelić critiques the "hijacking" of the Australian landscape by industrial wind turbines, arguing that these unreliable energy sources undermine the country's natural beauty and energy security while we sit on a goldmine of clean coal and uranium.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This week's episode is equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. Hannah and Barbi talk about Grandma Jann heading back to Washington (yes, they're sad - and yes, they absolutely adore her), which somehow leads to Barbi explaining why she's already writing Grandma Jann's eulogy… proactively. Don't worry - she's very much alive. From there, the conversation takes off (sometimes literally) with airport debacles, classic stories involving Uncle Monte, and a rapid-fire round of short Hideous and Horrific Hannah stories - real moments from history that sound too unbelievable to be true. As if that weren't enough, Barbi is also gearing up to leave Hannah for a cruise, which is clearly unacceptable. It's a fun, story-packed episode full of family love, laughter, and the kind of tangents that make you feel like you're right there with them.

EP.607The boys are back from their so called “holiday break,” and surprise, surprise chaos didn't take a vacation. Rumors are flying faster than private jets to Little St. James: whispers that Hillary and Bill Clinton might be splitting up. Apparently, Hillary's not thrilled to see Bill's name pop up in the Epstein files who knew?Meanwhile, over in La-La Land, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are… something. Friends? Lovers? A PR dream team? Nobody knows, but everyone's pretending they do. One thing's for sure Ariana's looking startlingly fragile, and the internet's collectively pretending not to notice. And speaking of transformations Jelly Roll's slimmed down faster than America's attention span. But now the question is: who's his audience? The tattooed, beer can crushing outlaws who saw themselves in him… or a newer, cleaner crowd that's into “reformed bad boy chic”? Losing weight might be the healthiest thing he's ever done career wise, maybe not.All that and more as the boys return in truly classic form: unfiltered, unbothered, and ready to offend anyone with Wi-Fi. Listen at your own risk.
EP.608In this thought provoking episode, the hosts engage in a candid and wide ranging conversation exploring the complexities of prayer, politics, and power. They delve into the personal and spiritual dimensions of prayer, examining its role beyond faith as a practice of intention and meditation. The discussion then shifts to pressing political controversies, including the latest revelations from the Epstein files and their broader implications for leadership and accountability. Alongside reflections on societal challenges from global protests to media influence the hosts share personal anecdotes and cultural insights that bring depth and humor to the dialogue. With an open, respectful approach to diverse beliefs and a commitment to uncovering truth, this episode invites listeners to question, reflect, and engage with the complexities shaping our world today.

Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell and attorney Eric Bland dress up for Huluween on this jam-packed episode - and you can see the video version of COJ Cinema on your LUNASHARK Premium dashboard later this week. We unpack a wild week of contradictions in South Carolina's justice system — from the Murdaugh: Death in the Family series' chilling portrayal of Alex Murdaugh's unraveling, to the shocking arrest of Beaufort County deputy Billy Squires, caught on video holding four teens at gunpoint, to the ugliest of fat cats suckling at the taxpayer trough for frivolous investigations. The conversation first touches on the emotional aftermath of Murdaugh: Death in the Family and Patricia Arquette's nuanced portrayal of Maggie Murdaugh, revealing how addiction, control, and silence intersected in the family's downfall. The team discusses how privilege continues to shape accountability in the Lowcountry — how law enforcement officers are “held to a higher standard” only when it benefits them, and how political connections often mean the difference between a perp walk and a polite summons without all the trimming every other person. And finally, we're shining a light on one of the biggest threats to our state's fiscal security… lawyers like Mark Moore gobbling up HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of taxpayer dollars for fishing expeditions with little to no actionable results... Are These Shoes Genius or Hideous? That's the question kicking off this week's episode of Wisdom from the Wardrobe! The team laces up for a lively debate over the New Balance 1906L “Snoafer”, part sneaker, part loafer, all conversation starters. Some shoes you wear, others you dissect endlessly… and you can bet the crew had opinions. Of course, Bec takes things a step further (pun intended) with a question no one saw coming; how often should you wash your feet? Let's just say this one goes straight into the “footnotes we usually ignore.” Then, it's time to strut into the Men's Fall/Winter 2025 fashion trends. From the return of sharp tailoring to leather shorts, fuzzy statement coats, “Big Pimpin'” energy, and the comeback of the cardigan, the team breaks down how men's style is mixing bold statements with refined swagger. Whether you're a style enthusiast, trend devotee, style traditionalist, or just someone curious about the snoafer heard ‘round the world, this episode walks the line between fashion forward and fabulously funny. Keep it stylish!

In this episode of Thinking Out Loud, Nathan and Cameron dive deep into That Hideous Strength, the final and most complex book of C.S. Lewis's Ransom Trilogy. Rather than offering a typical plot summary, they explore the prophetic theological themes that Lewis weaves into this dystopian narrative—from technocratic utopianism and demonic deception to the seduction of power and the spiritual cost of compromise. Originally written in 1945, this novel's relevance to the challenges Christians face in 2025 is both unsettling and illuminating. Nathan and Cameron connect Lewis's fiction to The Abolition of Man, The Inner Ring, and present-day issues like AI, media manipulation, transhumanism, and the loss of transcendence in modern culture. Perfect for Christians seeking rich theological reflection on current events, this conversation challenges believers to slow down, cultivate virtue, and recover a vision of reality where spirit precedes matter and truth is not up for negotiation.DONATE LINK: https://toltogether.com/donate BOOK A SPEAKER: https://toltogether.com/book-a-speakerJOIN TOL CONNECT: https://toltogether.com/tol-connect TOL Connect is an online forum where TOL listeners can continue the conversation begun on the podcast.

It has been quite some time since Myke last joined us for one of these sessions, making this return long overdue. Joseph Weigel from the Men With Chests podcast joins me to talk about NICE Alchemy! By which I don't mean, "Whoa, that was some really sweet alchemy you were doing just now, dude! NICE!" But rather, the connection between science and magic as practiced by the National Institute for Co-ordinated Experiments (N.I.C.E.) in C.S. Lewis' final novel in his space trilogy, That Hideous Strength. It's weird stuff. And Merlin's involved, naturally. That guy. This is part discussion, part interview, because Joseph has recently published an article in Sehnsucht about connections between the N.I.C.E.'s experiments and alchemy. Read it here: https://digitalcommons.georgefox.edu/cslewisjournal/vol18/iss1/11/ Also, be on the lookout for Joseph's forthcoming book, Planet Thulcandra. It hasn't come out as of the publication of this podcast, but it's on its way! Be sure to check out Men With Chests while you're at it! There is a lot more to come this season! It seems likely that (because this is only coming out once every two weeks), it will extend well into the Fall. In the vault, I have: A roundtable on The Abolition of Man A conversation about the Walking Tours that members of the Inklings took A discussion of George MacDonald's Lilith A series on the OHEL ...and quite a bit more. Shoot me an email to say hi if you're listening--I appreciate hearing from people who enjoy this podcast! And please do leave a rating and review if you can. It's nice to know when this is actually getting heard by someone!

On this episode of The Hillsdale College Online Courses Podcast, Jeremiah and Juan discuss how easy it is for nefarious forces to influence the "educated" before introducing Hillsdale College president Dr. Larry P. Arnn. Totalitarian novels depict regimes that exert complete and pervasive control over the lives of their subjects. George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Arthur Koestler, and C.S. Lewis imagine the terrible possibilities of unchecked modern tyranny. Join Larry P. Arnn, president of Hillsdale College, and Hillsdale College students in this exploration of 1984, Brave New World, Darkness at Noon, and That Hideous Strength. The course includes four lectures and four conversations, each about 30 minutes long. It is structured with one lecture about each book followed by a conversation between Dr. Arnn and the students about themes from that book. Lewis exposes the dangers of substituting scientific expertise for wisdom and bureaucracy for politics as the ruling impulses of a nation. Mark and Jane Studdock discover the importance of marriage, family, friendship, and faith.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Christians have often been too libertarian about drugs, failing to see that many mind-altering substances are spiritually dangerous and historically linked to witchcraft and idolatry. Scripture associates sorcery with “pharmakeia,” and the Bible consistently warns against drunkenness and altered states that open people to demonic influence. Therefore, Christian magistrates have a duty to suppress drug use that invites demonic activity, just as they are called to tear down modern high places like abortion clinics and pot shops. Finding the original tomb of the royal is one of the most significant developments in Egyptian archeology in recent history. Also, a video of a gloriously creepy anglerfish inspired tears and poetry online. But why was this deep-sea dweller near the surface at all?Royal Tomb Of Egyptian King Thutmose II UnearthedA British-Egyptian team has made one of the most significant Egyptian archeological finds in recent history: the tomb of pharaoh King Thutmose II, who ruled sometime between 2000 and 1001 BCE. This is the first tomb of a pharaoh unearthed since Tutankhamun's in 1922.Thutmose II's mummified remains were found two centuries ago, but they had been moved from his original tomb, the location of which remained a mystery until now. Part of the reason why his tomb's location was such a mystery was that Thutmose II was buried in an area associated with the wives of Egyptian kings, about 1.5 miles west of Egypt's famous Valley of the Kings.Joining Host Flora Lichtman to talk about this and other science stories of the week is Maggie Koerth, science writer and editorial lead of CarbonPlan, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Why The Internet Was Captivated By A Hideous FishLast week, a viral video likely floated to the top of your feed: a rare black seadevil anglerfish, which looks like a floating head with a frightening amount of teeth and two cloudy eyes, swimming in azure waters. The fish showed up near Spain's Canary Islands, off the northwestern coast of Africa. It made the news because it was spotted near the surface, while anglerfish normally reside in the deep ocean. So why was she paddling so close to the surface? Was she sick? How unusual is this? And also, why do they even look like that? We had questions.Host Flora Lichtman talks with Dr. Kory Evans, assistant professor of biosciences at Rice University, to separate fact from fish-ction. He also explains new research he helped conduct about the evolutionary history of anglerfish, which could help explain why they look the way they do.Transcripts for each segment will be available after the show airs on sciencefriday.com.
