Nelle scuole dell'infanzia dell'Istituto Comprensivo Porcu-Satta di Quartu Sant'Elena, il progetto educativo ha unito musica, podcast e relazione, trasformando il suono in uno strumento di crescita, ascolto e partecipazione condivisa. Nelle scuole dell'infanzia dell'IC 1-2 Porcu-Satta di Quartu Sant'Elena la musica è diventata esperienza quotidiana, relazione e scoperta. Il progetto Dal Battito al Podcast ha coinvolto i bambini dei plessi di via Palestrina, via Vespucci e via Milano in un percorso educativo che ha unito corpo, voce e strumenti digitali. Un'attività nata nel secondo quadrimestre scolastico e ormai vicina alla conclusione, capace di trasformare il suono in uno spazio di crescita condivisa. L'iniziativa ha preso forma grazie al Piano delle Arti, programma nazionale dedicato alla promozione della cultura umanistica e dei linguaggi creativi nelle scuole. Il finanziamento ha consentito di costruire un laboratorio articolato e inclusivo, nel quale i bambini hanno potuto sperimentare la musica attraverso il gioco, l'ascolto e la partecipazione diretta. Dal Battito al Podcast tra musica e movimento Il cuore del progetto ha coinvolto i bambini di cinque anni in attività musicali ed espressive sviluppate sia negli spazi interni sia nelle aree esterne delle scuole. I laboratori hanno alternato canto, psicomotricità e giochi sonori. Il corpo è diventato il primo strumento musicale. Il ritmo ha guidato movimento, ascolto e relazione. Durante le attività sono entrati in scena strumenti differenti. Lo strumentario Orff, l'ukulele e il flauto traverso hanno accompagnato le esplorazioni sonore dei bambini. Anche materiali di recupero hanno trovato spazio nei laboratori, stimolando curiosità e creatività. L'obiettivo non era la performance musicale. Il percorso puntava soprattutto a sviluppare ascolto, consapevolezza corporea ed espressione emotiva. L'approccio laboratoriale ha favorito la collaborazione tra i piccoli partecipanti. Ogni esperienza nasceva dall'interazione con il gruppo. I bambini sperimentavano il suono insieme, imparando a condividere tempi, silenzi e attenzione reciproca. Podcast e voce al centro dell'esperienza educativa La seconda fase di Dal Battito al Podcast ha introdotto il linguaggio della comunicazione sonora. Grazie all'utilizzo di microfoni, cuffie e software dedicati, i bambini hanno registrato racconti, riflessioni e impressioni nate durante i laboratori. Il podcast non è stato pensato come semplice prodotto finale. È diventato invece uno strumento educativo vero e proprio. Attraverso l'ascolto della propria voce, i bambini hanno imparato a raccontarsi e a confrontarsi con gli altri. Le registrazioni hanno dato forma ai loro pensieri e alle emozioni vissute durante il percorso. La verbalizzazione delle esperienze ha rafforzato competenze comunicative e relazionali. La voce ha assunto un valore identitario. Parlare, ascoltare e condividere sono diventati momenti centrali dell'attività educativa. La rete tra scuola, territorio e cultura Uno degli elementi più significativi del progetto riguarda la collaborazione con le realtà del territorio. La Scuola Civica di Musica di Sinnai ha guidato i laboratori musicali ed espressivi, mentre Unica Radio ha seguito il percorso dedicato alla produzione e diffusione dei podcast. La sinergia tra scuola, università e realtà culturali locali ha permesso di ampliare l'esperienza educativa. I bambini hanno potuto entrare in contatto con strumenti professionali e nuove modalità di comunicazione. Anche gli insegnanti hanno sperimentato pratiche interdisciplinari orientate alla ricerca e all'innovazione didattica. Il progetto ha rappresentato inoltre un'occasione di crescita professionale per il personale scolastico. L'osservazione, la documentazione e il lavoro cooperativo hanno rafforzato il senso di comunità educativa aperta e partecipativa. Dal Battito al Podcast guarda già al futuro L'esperienza non si fermerà con la conclusione dell'anno scolastico. Per il prossimo settembre la scuola sta già organizzando un incontro di disseminazione rivolto al territorio e al mondo della formazione. Sarà un momento dedicato alla condivisione delle pratiche sviluppate e dei materiali realizzati durante il percorso. L'obiettivo resta chiaro: valorizzare il ruolo dei linguaggi artistici e digitali nella scuola dell'infanzia. Dal Battito al Podcast dimostra infatti come anche i più piccoli possano diventare protagonisti attivi di percorsi creativi e narrativi. La musica, in questo caso, non accompagna soltanto l'apprendimento. Diventa uno spazio di ascolto, relazione e costruzione collettiva di significati.

Join The Revd Canon Dr Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride's, and St Bride's Choir for this week's reflection in words and music. This week we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. Our reading from the Acts of the Apostles describes the coming of the Holy Spirit, empowering all who received it to begin the work of making disciples of all nations. The choir opens our reflection with the celebrated motet 'Dum complerentur' by Palestrina. It is a vivid musical evocation of the Pentecost ‘rushing wind', with cascading ‘Alleluias' suggesting the Spirit's movement, while the panoply of musical ideas mirrors the Spirit that ‘blows where it wills'. And speaking of blowing winds, Alison begins her reflection by recalling the time when, to her great surprise, a tornado struck her home in Birmingham when she was working in her study. We close with the hymn "Come down, O Love Divine" by the 15th century Jesuit poet Bianco da Siena. La sua opera e il suo insegnamento hanno lasciato un'improntaindelebile nel panorama musicale italiano e internazionale.Biografia e formazioneFrancoOppo nacque a Nuoro da Carlo Oppo Villasanta e Olimpia Umana. Cresciuto in unambiente familiare legato alla cultura sarda, ebbe i primi contatti con lamusica tradizionale fin dall'infanzia, grazie anche alla stimolante atmosferadella stazione ferroviaria del Tirso, dove la nonna materna gestiva un punto diristoro. Trasferitosi a Cagliari negli anni Cinquanta, frequentò ilConservatorio "Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina", diplomandosi inpianoforte (1958), musica corale e direzione di coro (1960) e composizione(1961).Negli anni successivi approfondì la suaformazione con grandi maestri come Goffredo Petrassi e Giorgio FedericoGhedini, partecipando a corsi di perfezionamento a Venezia, Roma, Varsavia eDarmstadt. La sua traiettoria artistica fu caratterizzata da una ricercacostante fra tradizione e innovazione, sfociata in studi pionieristici sullamusica elettronica, l'aleatorietà e la semiologia musicale, con la formulazionedi una teoria generale del linguaggio musicale e uno studio approfondito sullelauneddas, strumento tipico sardo.Carriera artistica e accademicaDal1965 al 2000 Franco Oppo insegnò composizione e composizione sperimentale alConservatorio di Cagliari, diventando un punto di riferimento per generazionidi giovani musicisti. Parallelamente, compose numerose opere teatrali,sinfoniche, corali e da camera, presentate in diversi continenti, vincendo variconcorsi internazionali di composizione. Nel 1982 fondò e diresse il FestivalSpaziomusica, che portò a Cagliari nomi di rilievo della musica contemporaneamondiale, contribuendo a collocare la Sardegna sulla mappa internazionale dellamusica d'avanguardia.Franco Oppo rappresenta un esempioemblematico di musicista organico, capace di coniugare radici culturaliprofonde e apertura verso le avanguardie sonore. La sua dedizioneall'insegnamento, alla ricerca e alla promozione della musica contemporanea halasciato un'eredità preziosa che continua a influenzare il panorama musicaleitaliano e sardo. Scomparso il 14 gennaio 2016, Oppo rimane una figura chiaveper comprendere il dialogo fra tradizione e modernità nella musica del XXsecolo.

Gregorio Allegris körverk Miserere, mei Deus var länge exklusivt för mörkermässan i Sixtinska kapellet. Martin Söderlind sätter ord på skönheten. Åsikter som uttrycks är skribentens egna.Det skymmer afton i Sixtinska kapellet under Stilla veckan, någon gång i slutet av 1630-talet. Ringprydda händer greppar karmstolarnas armstöd. Tillsammans med utvalda kardinaler och prelater inväntar påven en tenebrae, mörkermässa.Kanske har ett främmande sändebud fått äran att träda in i den intima kretsen. Storögt bevittnar han mässans säregna förlopp. När den når sin kulmen ska allt vara höljt i det mörker som omgav Frälsaren, nedstigen i Dödsriket.Ännu skymtar gestalterna på väggarna i Den yttersta domen störta mot fördömelse eller stiga i salighet. Mörkret fortsätter tätna tills bara en ensam låga brinner på altaret, sinnebilden för Kristus. Mot slutet av konserten göms den bakom altaret och allt försänks i mörker. Michelangelos kroppar löses upp, medan de sista tonerna glider in i tystnad.Plötsligt framkallas ett strepitus, ett mullrande oväsen. Man stampar i golvet och böcker slås igen med kraft. Det ska symbolisera jordbävningen i ögonblicket då Kristus ger upp andan, och det därpå följande bullret när stenen framför graven förs undan. Ljuset bärs sedan fram igen till sin ursprungliga plats, som tecken på den avslutande uppståndelsen.Framför altaret står huvuddelen av kören i fem stämmor redo. En mindre del med ytterligare fyra stämmor är uppställd på en läktare bakom åhörarna.Tonsättaren, Gregorio Allegri, deltar själv i kören som en kontralt, en hög tenor. Med en början som korgosse är han redan erfaren, både som sångare och tonsättare. Men först dryga tiotalet år senare han ska nå höjden på sin karriär som kapellmästare, främst tack vare sin musik för såväl körer som stråkar. Även om vi musikhistoriskt befinner oss i barocken dröjer Allegri, starkt präglad av mästaren Palestrina, stilmässigt kvar i senrenässansen.Det är första gången hans Miserere ska framföras, verket som för alltid räddar honom ur historiens glömska. En stillsam melodi inleder. Strax tar en bedjande mansstämma över, tills kören på galleriet som ett eko i fjärran upprepar melodin. Växlingen upprepas några gånger och låter tonerna klättra tills de kröns av en solitär gossopran från läktaren.Att tävla i musik är en dum idé. De som leder Melodifestivalen brukar säga något liknande innan de kavlar upp ärmarna och sätter i gång.Ändå frestar det om man vill säga att något är riktigt, riktigt vackert. Det händer att Mozarts Ave Verum Corpus utnämns till världens genom tiderna vackraste musikstycke. Jag, och nog flera med mig, skulle vilja påstå att Allegris Miserere är ännu vackrare. Inga hästlängder i försprång, snarare en kamp vid målsnöret.Fängslade av sina klanger tycks rösterna försatta i trance. Varsamt, med osviklig värdighet, frammanas tonerna ur en tystnad som bävar av överjordisk närvaro. En efter en ger de sig till känna i högtidlig procession.Likt bildsköna änglar uppstår de nyskapade ur intet, ur dunklet bakom scenen som ramar in det vi, jordiska varelser, förmår varsebli. I själva verket är det storslagna hörspelet en skärva av ett gränslöst skeende.En del tonsättare anses berömda för ett enda verk. Bizet nämns som exempel med sin Carmen. Och Gustav Holst leder onekligen tanken ensidigt till Planeterna. Alla tänker väl på Pacific 231 när Arthur Honegger nämns, liksom De fyra årstiderna associeras med Vivaldi.Men bättre än någon annan kvalar Allegri med sitt körverk in i ligan, i den mån en sådan alls existerar. Under sin livstid skrev han flera verk som blev mycket uppskattade i samtiden, inte minst av påvarna Urban VIII och Innocentius X. Idag är allt utom Misereret bortglömt. Desto starkare lyser stycket tvärs genom århundradena.Därmed tillhör det en exklusiv skara verk från tiden innan begreppet klassisk musik hade uppfunnits som spelats oavbrutet fram till våra dagar. I äldre tid övergav man nämligen ständigt det nyss så omhuldade för nya stilar. Bach föll ganska snart efter sin död offer för denna trendkänslighet. Mer livskraftiga tonsättare vid sidan av Allegri är däremot Pergolesi med sin Stabat Mater och Händel med Messias.Miserere är latin och betyder ”förbarma dig”. Texten är hämtad ur Versio Vulgata, bibelöversättningen från hebreiskan och grekiskan. Det rör sig om en psalm ur Psaltaren som egentligen är en klagovisa, en bön om förlåtelse med vidhörande försoningsoffer.Varje ängel bär varsamt sin ton i famnen, som ett länge efterlängtat barn. Eller som om hon anförtrotts Gudamoderns livsfrukt, han som ska släcka världens konflikthärdar och förlåta människornas synder.Vingburna lyfter änglarna sakta med sin oskattbara börda, stiger högre och högre, medan klangerna djupnar. Den vackra musiken klingar samman med människornas skuldtyngda böner om förlåtelse i en förlösande enhet som når det uthärdligas gräns.Misererets oerhörda skönhet framgår av att påvarna svartsjukt behöll det för sig själva. Noterna förbjöds att spridas. Någon gång blev det dock möjligt för allmänheten att lyssna från en balkong, medan avskrifter var fortsatt förbjudna. Skrivdon fick absolut inte medföras.Men så en vacker dag år 1770, efter drygt hundratrettio år av hemlighetsmakeri, satt en fjortonårig musikalisk yngling vid namn Wolfgang Mozart på balkongen. Efter två genomlyssningar gick han hem och plitade ner varenda not efter minnet.Skeptiska röster menar att ynglingens manager och agent, pappa Leopold, hittade på alltsammans i PR-syfte, och de har nog rätt. Noter lär nämligen ha varit i omlopp i London när familjen Mozart besökte staden.Till slut når sopranstämman fram till målet för himmelsfärden. En av änglarna öppnar sin famn. En ensam ton, inkarnerad av barnet som har vilat däri, sträcker nyfiket fram fingret genom rymderna mot en punkt som skälver av ljus. Det är nålsögat till Paradiset.Våra ögon bländas och värker. Oberörd av skenet, med uppspärrade ögon, stoppar barnet fingret genom nålsögat. Inte mycket tränger igenom, men tillräckligt för att vi ska fyllas av förtröstan, känna utsidan av Guds hand glida över våra kinder, lyfta blicken och skymta ansiktet som vi alla avbildar. Sacred Voices is a choir made up of members who were originally part of the Sistine Chapel Choir and now constitute a touring ambassadorial choir, dedicated in part to sustaining the vision of Domenico Bartolucci, who was for decades the Sistine Chapel Choir's conductor and director. Alessandro Biciocci is the Secretary General of the Bartolucci Foundation. Originally a boy treble in the Sistine Chapel Choir, he is now the Secretary General of the foundation that plans and oversees the work of Sacred Voices. This other face – or other voice – of the Sistine Chapel Choir has become famous for its interpretations of Gregorian chant, Palestrina, and the Catholic liturgical repertoire. They perform not only in Rome but across the world, and are singing in New York this August. The New York tour has been organised by Justin Kurian, founder of Reclaiming Christendom, a lawyer and popular novelist. Reclaiming Christendom works for the renewal of Catholic faith and culture.
