notes Transformers Prime Season 3! We discuss the final episode of this animated series. We talk about the major plot points of the season: The regrouping of the autobots, the return of Ultra Magnus and Shockwave, and the creation of Predaking.  In addition, we talk about the pursuit of Predacon bones run away technology, the final story arc: the rebuilding of the Omega Lock and the creation of the raw substance of Cybertron and the final confrontation between the Autobots and the Decepticons.  Themes are explored. We talk about the runaway technology of the synthetic energon and the disastrous results Knockouts initial experimentation with it. We also talk about Megatron's realization that the cloning of the Predacons may not work as he originally plans. Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack come to terms with the changes in their life. Wheeljack has to accept the fact that the Wreckers will never be what they were before and that it's time to move on. Do you have any new collecting resolutions? How about the wait until Ross / Ollies / clearance mentality? I know I'm taking that outlook on Predaking. Wish I would have taken it on the Black Series. How about a resolution to diversify your collection? Maybe some fine art? The Mad Duck MOTU posters are a great start. Not nearly as popular as Mondo yet, but still beautiful and some truly great homages. Speaking of homages, Snake Eyes, the movie, looks to be steeped in them. That is if the rumors pan out. If your resolution were to attend more cons, you have fewer choices this year. One of the quintessential means of exposure to multitudes of Star Wars stars has been canceled. Legoland has ceased their Star Wars Days after 10 years of amazing guests, events, and displays. For us missing Botcon, and hoping Hascon would fill that void, it has been postponed indefinitely.

Abominus, the combined form of the Deluxe Class Terrorcons and Voyager Class Hun-Gurrr made its way to Toy Fair and strutted his stuff, but is he a must have for the cast? In celebration of the upcoming Bumblebee movie release, Hasbro unveiled the first wave of the Movie Studio series toys which sees some updates to our favorite characters along with some names not seen for a while. After the Studio Series discussion, we head back in to Power of the Primes to discuss the Legends Class Duocon pair that forms Battletrap and his different possible combinations. Before things finish up, the crew is joined by Seibertron who was on hand in New York. He provides a firsthand account of the goings on at this year’s Toy Fair, with other details about the toys discussed earlier in the episode. This show concludes with an interview featuring Ben Montano and John Warden of the Hasbro Transformers brand team, as they field questions from the Transformers fan media community.

Toyfair 2018 hit and reveals of figures were on display, not a huge amount but a some things worth talking about such use coloured images of the new Movie line, POTP Abominus combined mode has been shown as well as Predaking and all his teams individual robots. Other stuff was up there as well but there were a few other little bits of info like the Micheal Bay Movie continuity is over but the movies will continue in a new direction which was fairly big news.
