Larry Warren returns to the Cosmic Switchboard to talk about the status of the documentary “Caple Green” about the events that transpired in the Rendlesham Forest outside of RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk England. Larry talks about the delays and interference which have stymied the release of the documentary. It’s possible threats have been meted out to the director but that still doesn’t explain the long delay in releasing the documentary. It’s been nine years in the making. Lori posted her 2022 reunion with Larry Warren on her YouTube channel. Both Lori and Larry say the vibe was off at RAF Bentwaters and you could feel it as soon as you stepped foot on the base. 19:09. Larry Warren says, "a hostility you couldn't see but there was a negativity you could feel." Originally aired 2021: Stationed at the 81st Security Police Squadron at RAF Bentwaters, in England, Lori Rehfeldt was present during the UFO events that occurred in 1980. Two encounters were reported. Hers was in Feb. 1980. The second event happened in Dec. after she left the base. She had no idea about the second event until discovering a book about it in 1997. Having had time to reconcile her experience at RAF Bentwaters and consider some of the other high strangeness and paranormal accounts in that area, Lori now offers additional insight from first hand experience. Her personal encounters include Greys, Mantid Beings, Ghosts, and others. She admits there were some locations on the base that made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Spooky and frightening. It wasn't all negative. At one point, she heard a voice instruct her not to turn around because it didn't want to scare her. She also had a verbal prompt to avoid going forward in a certain area. She acknowledged and turned away. She saw ghosts too. But it was the UFO encounter that changed her the most. Joe's father served in World War 2 in the USAF. His service inspired Joe to try and join the USAF or the Naval Air Force despite having no flying experience. It's the aftermath of the Vietnam War so forces are being reduced, however with the arrival of a new President, Ronald Reagan, defence spending grows and provides Joe with an opportunity to start pilot training with the USAF. He eventually ends up flying the A10. The A-10 was first in service in 1976 and was designed to provide close air support to ground troops by attacking armoured vehicles, tanks, and other enemy ground forces. Joe describes what makes the A10 special as well as his training and initial deployment in the A10 in Alaska. The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, also known as "Britain's Roswell," occurred in December 1980 in the forest near Rendlesham, a small town in Suffolk, England. It involved multiple sightings of strange lights and objects by United States Air Force personnel stationed at nearby RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge, which were being used by the US military at the time.On December 26, 1980, USAF security personnel reported seeing strange lights in the forest and investigated. They claimed to have seen a metallic, triangular-shaped craft with strange markings on its surface. The craft was said to be hovering above the ground and emitting a low-level radiation. When the airmen approached the craft, it reportedly lifted off the ground and quickly disappeared.The next night, more personnel observed strange lights in the forest, and some even claimed to have seen the craft again. The incident was investigated by the UK Ministry of Defence and the USAF, and many theories have been proposed to explain what happened. Charles I. Halt is a retired United States Air Force colonel and the former base commander of RAF Bentwaters, near Woodbridge, Suffolk. After serving in Vietnam, Japan and Korea, he was assigned to Bentwaters as deputy commander. The Rendlesham Forest incident of late December 1980 occurred shortly afterwards.In the late hours of December 27, and early December 28, 1980 then Lieutenant Colonel Halt led a patrol to investigate an alleged UFO landing site near the eastern edge of Rendlesham Forest. During this investigation they witnessed several unidentified lights, most prominent of them being a bright flashing light in the direction of Orford Ness. In January 1981 Halt composed an official Air Force memorandum listing details of the events. The memo was then dispatched to the Ministry of Defence. Halt also made an audio tape recording of the incidentAfter retiring from the US Air Force in 1991, Halt made his first public appearance in a television documentary, where he confirmed the authenticity of the Rendlesham Forest incident. His book on the subject is entitled The Halt Perspective.In June 2010 Halt issued a notarized affidavit in which he summarized the alleged events of the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident and concluded: "I believe the objects that I saw at close quarter were extraterrestrial in origin and that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted – both then and now – to subvert the significance of what occurred at Rendlesham Forest and RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation."

Lori Rehfeldt was stationed at the 81st Security Police Squadron at RAF Bentwaters in England during the UFO events that occurred in 1980. Two encounters were reported. Hers was Feb. 1980 and the second event happened in Dec. after she left the base.  She had no idea about the second event until discovering a book about it in 1997.   Having had time to reconcile her experience at RAF Bentwaters and consider some of the other high strangeness and paranormal accounts in that area, Lori now offers additional insight from first hand experience. Her personal encounters include Greys, Mantid Beings, Ghosts and others. And she admits there were some locations on the base that made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Spooky and frightening. It wasn't all negative. At one point, she heard a voice instruct her not to turn around because it didn't want to scare her. She also had a verbal prompt to avoid going forward in a certain area. She acknowledged and turned away. She saw ghosts too. But it was the UFO encounter that changed her the most. James W. Penniston ( USAF/Retired), is author of The Rendlesham Enigma. Sergeant Penniston and his team were "First Responders" to a security investigation of a craft-of-unknown-origin, located just outside RAF Woodbridge, England. In December 1980 that case, is known as the Rendlesham Forest Incident, and is the most documented account in military history. The Rendlesham Forest Incident of December 1980, is considered by far the most significant event in UFO history. It was also a unique military-related event, having taken place in Rendlesham Forest just outside the twin bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk, England – both of which had been transferred to the United States Air Force in 1951 by the British MOD (Ministry of Defence), becoming one of the largest and most important NATO complexes in Europe during the Cold War. The account given in this book is that of James W. Penniston, a Staff Sergeant at the time of the incident, who was the primary witness who led the investigation in the beginning and had ‘Top-Secret clearance' – one of only eight people with Top-Secret clearance working Security at the twin bases. His credibility and honesty were highly respected throughout his years in the USAF.
