Send us a textIn industries such as metal, chemical, and paper manufacturing, supply chain planning requires highly specialized capabilities to address the complexities of their operations. These sectors rely on advanced features like variable routings, multi-level pegging, coupled routings, and intricate changeovers to ensure efficiency and adaptability. While many supply chain solutions provide basic functionalities like available-to-promise or capable-to-promise, the critical challenge lies in mastering profitable-to-promise capabilities. OMP distinguishes itself in the market by seamlessly integrating these advanced features into its suite, making it a strong contender for handling the unique demands of these industries. This raises an important question: how does OMP compare to other supply chain suites in delivering tailored, industry-specific solutions? In today's episode, we invited a panel of industry experts for a live discussion on LinkedIn to conduct an independent review of OMP's capabilities. We covered many grounds, including where OMP might be a fit in the enterprise architecture and where it might be overused. Finally, they analyze many data points to help understand the core strengths and weaknesses of OMP.Background Soundtrack: Away From You – Mauro SommFor more information on growth strategies for SMBs using ERP and digital transformation, visit our community at wbs. rocks or elevatiq.com.

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 18, 2024 21:12

¿He dicho 3?

Zaczynał jako raper i producent z Wilanowa w składzie OMP, z którym zaczął tworzyć pozytywny rap w kontrze do dominującego w Warszawie w latach 90-tych – stylu ulicznego. To wszystko zostanie ujawnione w 27 odcinku Rap Kontenera. Meet the man whose research inspired the SAM campaign. Om P. Gandhi, Emeritus Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the University of Utah, taught courses on biological effects of antennas, RF and microwave electromagnetic fields for over 50 years. Prof. Om P. Gandhi is a world expert on how mobile phone radiation penetrates the human brain. Once a consultant to major cell phone companies, Gandhi now refuses to work with them.  He has authored or co-authored several book chapters, and over 200 journal articles in electromagnetic dosimetry, microwave tubes, and solid-state devices. He also edited a book entitled Biological Effects and Medical Applications of Electromagnetic Energy and co-edited a book entitled Electromagnetic Biointeraction. Dr. Gandhi was elected as a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering in 1997. He was the Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Utah, from 1992 to 1999, the President of the Bioelectromagnetics Society from 1992 to 1993, the Co-Chairman of the IEEE SCC 28. IV Subcommittee on the RF Safety Standards from 1988 to 1997, and the Chairman of the IEEE Committee on Man and Radiation from 1980 to 1982. He received the d'Arsonval Medal of the Bioelectromagnetics Society for pioneering contributions to the field of bioelectromagnetics in 1995, the Microwave Pioneer Award of the IEEE MTTS in 2001, and the State of Utah Governor's Medal for Science and Technology in 2002. “The SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) for a 10-year old is up to 153% higher than the SAR for the SAM model and MRI scans of children between 5 and 8 years of age and found approximately 2 times higher SAR in children compared to adults. When electrical properties are considered, a child's head's absorption can be over two times greater, and absorption of the skull's bone marrow can be ten times greater than adults” – O. P. Ghandi et al, 2012 “It is a fact that humans of all sizes and ages from children to older individuals are using cell phones, and testing for compliance testing for a 220 lb., 6 feet 2 inch tall adult male underestimates the actual energy absorbed by up to a factor of two, thus releasing into the market telephones that would not pass if a proper safety compliance testing method was used.” - Dr. Om P. Gandhi Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in his FCC Submission The We Are Not SAM movement is not based on opinion - it's backed by science and the leading independent scientists from around the world have a lot to say about this testing dummy called SAM.  Tune in to hear some of the mind-boggling insights from Om's research, the specifics around the SAM test which has allowed mobile phones to proliferate the market with unsafe devices, the FDTD Method - an alternative solution to the SAM test which can detect radiation with precision, the antenna affect, why humans absorb radiation and act like a conductor + so much more! Show notes: 1:58 – Why are they testing mobile phones on a plastic dummy, how it violates SAR (specific absorption rate) testing standards 7:39 –  As a professor, they can't stop me publishing research 10:25 – Mobile Phone tower proximity matters – a weak signal requires more radiation 12:54 – Uncovering different radiation absorption rates for children and adults 16:22 – Children 5-12 years are absorbing twice the amount of radiation compared to adults 31:10 – FDTD method, the alternative biological test for safety, why is this hidden? 33:26 – The Antenna Affect, why humans absorb radiation then act like a conductor 38:13 – Does the 5G technology have the potential to create human transmitters? 42:16 – Revealing studies conclude you should stay away from mobile phone towers 44:19 – Biggest health risks of 5G infrastructure is higher rates of cancer 49:00 – The FCC does not take long-term exposure into account 57:22 – 5G is being rolled out unnecessarily without proper testing, that's a fact! Your kindness means the world to me and I hope you might feel inspired to explore the natural areas where you live.Welcome to episode 19 of the Nature is my Jam podcast! We find ourselves out on the Old Mission Peninsula (OMP) in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. The OMP is one of my favorite places to roam, especially on moody days such as I found during this recording. With rain and wind in the forecast, this was going to be a perfect opportunity to test out some new gear. As I mentioned after the trip to the upper peninsula, I upgraded the wind protection for my microphone and also added in some protection from the rain. I'm happy to report that both additions worked perfectly during this wet and windy night. Rhonda joined me, so we drove out to the Murray Road Trailhead to begin our hike along the trails belonging to the Old Mission Point Park. This section of trail goes through various meadows, along several ridge lines, and plunges down into a valley containing what is best described as a climax forest. A climax forest exists when the plant community is relatively stable and unchanged over many cycles. Think of mature trees that represent the last stage of natural succession. There is very little undergrowth or competition from other species. There is debate in the community about the merits of a climax forest that are too nuanced for this blog post, but the primary question is, “should a forest ever stop evolving and not face competition?” Once we setup the microphone, we took a path that we thought would lead us back to Murray Road and eventually back to our car. 20 minutes later, as the woods grew darker, we missed the spur trail and bushwhacked through meadows full of tall grass and acres of Sumac Trees. For me, this is a very regular occurrence, but I think Rhonda would prefer to stay on maintained trails. With pitch black skies, increasing wind and hunger waning on our patience, we finally found the road, and it was just a 5-minute walk to the car. The bonus of getting momentarily disoriented was finding a creaking old tree that would be amazing to record during a storm. As always, I welcome your thoughts and hope you enjoy this episode. There is a body of Tibetan thought that contends enlightenment occurs in the body, not in the mind. They might say that awakening is an embodiment, and prescribe a number of somatic practices in order to experience it. Breath work meditation is one of those approaches. Deep within us is a tremendous well of information in more forms than we can imagine. Call it the knowledge of the heart, or the way of the soul, or any of the descriptors that point toward accessing that which is beyond our normal, intellectual orientation. Blair is the channel for Tabaash, and he is pleased to tell you that once again he is able to bring to you Tabaash. It is a great time to be authentic in Mind, Body and Spirit and so the subject of Tabaash's lecture is going to be, “BEING YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF”. We have all been on our soul journey for such a long time now and in this time where everything seems to be so exaggerated, we need to remember that it's our own personal authenticity that is prevailing and influential to us. This is a time to be more commanding so that we are able to amplify with more potency the Gods that we are.Presentation from the 2014 Ozark Mountain Transformation ConferenceFOLLOW US ON:Facebook: https://goo.gl/rwvBfwInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/ozarkmtpubTwitter: https://goo.gl/LunK5DWebsite: https://goo.gl/2d5cX4ASSOCIATED LINKS:Ozark Mountain Publishing, Inc.: https://goo.gl/xhgoAPQuantum Healing Hypnosis Academy: https://goo.gl/64G7RD

Alien Abduction v Being a Volunteer - Sherry Wilde

The Alien Abduction topic is one filled with much speculation and conjecture by the UFO investigators. Most of the analysis is being done by those who have never even had a contact experience themselves and can only form opinions based on what they hear and observe from the actual participant. Sherry has had an overwhelming amount of physical contact with beings from an alternate reality and has worked her way through the layers of disbelief, fear, confusion and ridicule. She found support and answers in places she never expected and through that process began to remember the truth of who she is and why her contact was such a necessary part of her earthly experience. She will share highlights of that journey and bring to light the incredible story of humanities evolutionary path. In this talk she will share the information given to her by higher dimensional beings who taught her “The Three Important Things to Know”. These lessons are humanity's ticket home. It is time to remember the truth of who we are. It is time to break the cycle of karma that has kept Earth humans trapped for eons.Presentation from the 2014 Ozark Mountain Transformation Conference.FOLLOW US ON:Facebook: https://goo.gl/rwvBfwInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/ozarkmtpubTwitter: https://goo.gl/LunK5DWebsite: https://goo.gl/2d5cX4ASSOCIATED LINKS:Ozark Mountain Publishing, Inc.: https://goo.gl/xhgoAPQuantum Healing Hypnosis Academy: https://goo.gl/64G7RD

The Other Side of Weight Loss

In this part 2 of my Q&A Deb What are optimal blood levels for progesterone, estrogen and testosterone in women over 60? Is there a ratio between estrogen and progesterone that is optimal?  Lisa I am 54 and in full menopause. Should I be using topical estradiol and progesterone cream? I currently only use progesterone and the few times I have tried the estradiol cream I have felt very moody/pissy. I use the progesterone cream every other week. Thanks for all of your great info! Jodi I'm a 50-year-old post-menopausal woman with weight gain and abdominal/back/thigh fat increase in the last 3 years. Up 20# (down about 10 over the last 8 months) So based on your recommendations (and agreement from GYN) and my very low levels of progesterone, estrogens, and testosterone. I'm doing a combo bioidentical estrogen and testosterone vaginal cream and Oral Progesterone. First few months I just applied to my skin 2 pumps as directed but it often felt like more was getting in my underwear so I started using an insert tube thing. I haven't retested yet- on month 4, but am wondering if this is the best way to get the estrogen/testosterone. Would it be better to have them separated? Or a different form? Also, I've been taking a week off of the OMP. Is this still recommended? I'm an RD getting my certification in Functional nutrition and I do all the ‘stuff' Eat clean, supplements, exercise, sleep and still weight loss is very slow and hard and any deviation from the above plan I seem to gain 2-5#. The hormones have helped with sleep and some of that weight loss occurred after taking but still, my body doesn't look like me. (More like my mom!!!) any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks again! Danielle Hi Karen, I've been reducing my refined sugar intake over the last year and I do well all month until the week of my cycle. Why do such intense cravings for sugar, especially chocolate, accompany periods? Which hormones are fluctuating that trigger this? Is it the drop in progesterone? Thank you! Anonymous I have a question about hormone replacement topical application. I know it is best to rotate application sites so as not to overload the hormone receptors. However, I am on four different hormone creams and wondering if it is sufficient to rotate the different hormones between each site, (are the hormone receptors specific to each hormone?) or should I be taking a break completely to give them a chance to reset? I am on DHEA, testosterone, estrogen/estradiol, and progesterone and I rotate those between the chest, inner wrist, and back of the knee. Thank you! Anonymous I have been following your podcast for a year now and I love your energy. Your show is very informative and gives us women hope!! I am 66 years old and had my last period at 55 so my question to you am I too old to start any hormone therapy or should I have begun therapy in perimenopause. Just in these last couple of years, I have been feeling low and not myself. I still work outside the home and am a busy grandmother of 4. At my age, I am still very busy and probably stressed with all the responsibilities I still have to encounter in my life. I still try and keep my body active by doing weight training 2-3 times a week and walking 2-3 times a week. I have this belly fat I can't get rid of. My sex drive is nil and has been for two years now. I am just not in a happy place and want to feel full again. I don't know where to start. Naty I have been struggling with sugar binges for over 50 yrs causing abdominal belly fat I walk every day 2 hrs. I have sugar cravings and tried herbal supplements but they do not work sugar is always there and I know I am very emotional and have low esteem. I have no sex drive Menaopause. So frustrated, what can I do? Luhu Hi Karen! Love you!... listen to all your podcasts and have learned so much, I'm a long-term beauty/health/nutrition journalist studying with FDN to become a practitioner and I hope to interview you one day! :) OK, I've always been fit and very lean but have gained 20lbs with menopause all over not just belly, it's like my whole outline is bigger…is this typical? I want to start BHRT and do it right, i.e. knowing my genetics and pathways so I lose this weight not gain more. Fear of that has stopped me so far….and worrying that my gut is not in top shape, but menopause itself makes the gut worse right? Do you see gut improvement with BHRT? My last stool test showed that my beta-glucuronidase was high BUT when I take any Phase 2 support now like calcium d-glucarate or DIM or even Resveratrol my weight instantly increases!! I've asked 2 functional med docs if this is because it's lowering my estrogen more and they said no something else is wrong. But my instinct was that it lowered my estrogen more LIKE YOU SAID! [I tried Dr. LB's Receptor Detox with a low-dose cal d-glucarate and this happened too.] Is this what you see? And do you recommend products like this DURING BHRT so that the hormones are detoxed well? My thyroid is actually good by Dr. Amie Hornaman's standard (though Reverse is 16.4, a bit high?)…however sex hormones are dismally low, both estradiol and free T are a 6 :( Can you remind me what BHRT you take again? I'm interested in the patch but unsure of progesterone amount/delivery…maybe not oral since my gut has been off/a bit SIBO-ish? Lastly since I'm sensitive to supps etc, do you recommend starting with a lower dose of the patch to ease into it and let the body adjust and then say go up to a 0.05? Oh wait, one more thing, there is a female doc on podcasts that talks about bringing FSH down to levels it was when we were younger…can that be done with say a .05 patch or does that take higher doses?
