One such twist is the frequent resurrection of the Demira family members from the dead. Let's look at the most infamous back-from-the-dead Demira stories. Megan Hathaway Demira (Miranda Wilson), who was presumed dead once and resurrected once.  DOOL gave Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), known for faking his death multiple times. Stefan DiMera, first played by Tyler Christopher and later by Brandon Barash, was presumed dead once and resurrected once. EJ DiMera (James Scott and later Dan Feuerriegel) was only dead once, a relatively low count for a Demira.  Days of our Lives puts Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), the father of the Demira family, holding the record for the most fake deaths and real resurrections, with a total of 13 presumed deaths. Susan Walters reprised her role as Diane Jenkins, a character whose original run ended in 2004 when she was killed off. However, her 'death' was later revealed to be a ruse, a decision that sparked mixed reactions among fans.  Y&R also saw the return of Sheila Carter, played by Kimberly Brown, a character notorious for her numerous comebacks from apparent death. Other recent resurrections include that of Matt Clark, played by Roger Howorth, and Adam Newman, portrayed by Mark Grossman, both of which were deemed unrealistic by fans.  Young and Restless gave a twist as Claire Grace Newman, a character originally believed to have died at birth, made a shocking return, only to be rewritten as a 'goody two shoes', a decision that has raised eyebrows among the show's viewers. In true soap opera style, the plot seems to be focusing on characters whose names start with the letter 'A'. Dr. Rolf's lab, previously the site of miraculous medical feats, may soon see the return of Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Abigail Devereaux (AnnaLynne McCord), and Adrianne Kiriakis (Judi Evans).  DOOL spoilers indicate the recent emphasis on Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) has fans speculating about a return, despite the unfortunate passing of actor Joseph Mascolo. The resurrection of Stefano would likely involve his consciousness being embedded into someone else, similar to the implantation of the Stefano chip into Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).  Spoilers for Days of our Lives suggest Andre DiMera's return is anticipated especially if Tony DiMera is indeed locked in the crypt. Also, with recent discussions about Clyde Weston (James Read) and Abigail, there are hints that Abigail Devereaux might not be dead. [2025 Addendum] Our third and final rerun which we're releasing for July, and third and final rerun celebrating the memory of Masters of VGM (“MoVGM”), and our third and final of my bids to drum up excitement for the “VGM Hall of Fame” (“HoF”)  series spearheaded by Alex “The Messenger” Messenger of “A VGM Journey” (https://terraplayer.com/shows/a-vgm-journey), Professor Tom from “Shujin Academy VGM Club” (https://terraplayer.com/shows/shujin-academy-vgm-club), and myself (as well as any other shows which have elected to join us in the time since my drafting this on July 2nd), we look, at last, to MoVGM's final year: 2024. The Theme of 2024's MoVGM was a focus on female and LGBTQIA+ (particularly trans) composers. And Nerd Noise Radio's contribution for this year was a Channel 1 featuring the soundtrack to the game Celeste, composed by the fabulous trans composer Lena Raine. The pride connection goes even deeper, though, as the game was written and designed by Maddie Thorson, who is also trans, and upon whom the [also also trans] protagonist, Madelaine is also based. From a production standpoint, this is going to be pretty close to on par with a 2025 production as it is using all the same recording hardware, and most of the same production techniques, but may not quite match the current crop due to my using less sophisticated monitoring headphones resulting in a final mix which might be a tad on the “hot” side. Either way, it's a showcase of great people making great music to a great game with a great message. Seven Resurrections - The Raising of the Widows Son - Sunday Morning 04-06-25

The four Gospels give the biography of Jesus. Four different writers with four different perspectives. Yet all four, focus on the last week of Jesus life. 35% of each book is devoted to the last week. Matthew, Luke, Mark (Peter) and John, all felt we could not understand Jesus unless we understood this last week of His life. Palm Sunday is a Day and a Doorway. It matters because of the paradoxes revealed. A week that begins in triumph ends in tragedy. The Jews were expecting Jesus to overthrow the Roman rulers, but instead, He overthrew death, hell, the grave, sin and darkness. The last week signaled a paradigm shift for humanity. From cheering crowds to the weeping Christ. From joy to judgement. From waving palm branches to waving whips. Matthew 21 tells of Jesus cleansing the Temple. The Jews were expecting a Regime Change-they got a Revolution! Mark 11, the donkey takes up half the story. Why does Jesus need this donkey? Why does He get it in such an unusual way? This begs the question: What does He need from you? What do you have that no one else has to advance the Kingdom? Luke 19 contrasts the reaction to Jesus: a story of Mixed Reviews. John 12 is a preview of Coming Attractions; by tying Jesus' entry to Lazarus' death and resurrectionS, previews what Jesus will go through. John 12;23-24 Palm Sunday is not, and cannot be, just a day of triumph (He's King!), but also the start of His suffering (the only crown this King will wear is thorns). It wasn't long before those singing “Hosanna,” were shouting, “Crucify Him.” Philippians 2:5-11 Christ's trajectory- kenosis-downward emptying, then upward exaltation. The same path is required for believers today! The last week of Jesus' life is a tale of two basins: The basin Jesus used to wash the disciple's feet. The basin Pilot used to wash his hands of responsibility for this state-sponsored murder. The last week of Jesus life was a turning point, from action to passion. Things are no longer done by Him, but TO Him. Jesus most powerful work is done in His passion. Could it just be possible that our greatest contribution in life may be not through our achievements as usually defined but through our suffering?” This week culminated with Jesus dying between two felons. Jesus became the One who does not count, so He could rescue all of us who do not count.
