We continue to build on the idea that white Christian nationalism is, was and has always been the foundation of this country. To suggest otherwise is to be both ahistorical and absent in our politics today. The violent response to a concept so utterly innocuous such as “Black lives matter” should tell us everything. Before it was a movement (of sorts) it was a simple statement. But the reality is that they don’t. We need to stop calling it “Trump’s America” and just call it what it is. America. Wolfie dissects the disappointing defeat to Sunderland in the Premier League! To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv Wolfie is back to dissect this disappointing defeat to newly promoted Sunderland at the City Ground, where Ange Postecoglou's home debut turned into a nightmare as the Reds slumped to a fifth game without a win under his management. The solitary goal from Sunderland's Romaine Mundle in the 28th minute proved decisive, exposing Forest's defensive frailties and lack of cutting edge despite dominating possession—Wolfie breaks down the key moments, from missed chances by Igor Jesus to a solid but uninspired performance that left fans frustrated. With Ange now winless in five, including draws against Burnley and Real Betis, Wolfie questions how long owner Evangelos Marinakis' patience will last, given the high expectations after his Europa League success at Tottenham. The pressure is mounting as Forest hover in 15th, and Wolfie explores whether this is a teething phase for Angeball or a sign of deeper issues—could a managerial change already be on the horizon, especially with Nuno linked to West Ham? Which players, if any, came out with credit? Wolfie spotlights Neco Williams' tireless efforts on the right but slams the attack for lacking ruthlessness. Let us know your thoughts in the comments—was this defeat Ange's fault, or just bad luck? Felicia and François are back after a grueling road trip for the Liberty — one defined by injuries, tough losses, and the lingering question of whether New York is running out of time. But with stars returning and flashes of dominance resurfacing, there's still a glimmer of hope as the season winds down. We break down: Whether the Liberty's injuries are too much to overcome — or if deeper issues are at play. What the team could (and should) have done better despite the circumstances. Why role players must step up no matter who's available. How Breanna Stewart's return to form could be the key to saving the season. Why a convincing win in Seattle is more than just a morale boost. A reminder of just how dangerous this team can be at full strength.
Today on Good Follow: Ros flexes her New York Liberty championship ring to Angel McCoughtry, and together they break down what the Las Vegas Aces need to do with their eight-day break before playing the Minnesota Lynx. Is that too long of a break? Will they be rusty? Then, Breanna Stewart is sounding the alarm for the New York Liberty. With only four regular-season games left, is there enough time to right the ship? Then, Ros shares her WNBA pick of the week presented by DraftKings. Finally, Ros and Angel talk US Open and what is going on with Naomi Osaka and Taylor Townsend. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On July 9, the Department of Health and Human Services started the funding competition for organizations that work on the frontlines of helping youth who are homeless, have run away, and are either involved in or at risk of being trafficked. That notice came very late in the year, and many are worried the administration might run out of time to actually make grants. And, this year's competition will not include unique grants for street outreach, a major part of the federal program since the 1990s. Darla Bardine, executive director of the National Network for Youth, joins to provide detail and context around this year's long-delayed federal funding. And Barissa Ford, who is the director of community outreach and engagement for Youth In Need in St. Louis, discusses what street outreach means and what it takes to do that work well. ✨ Summary Are you constantly running late, putting off tasks, or feeling like time slips through your fingers? You're not alone—and it may be something called time blindness. Do you feel stuck in a cycle of procrastination, distraction, and missed deadlines? You might be dealing with time blindness—a persistent difficulty in perceiving and managing time that often shows up with anxiety, depression, or ADHD.In this episode, I open up about my own experiences with time blindness, how it affected my family life and goals, and how I've learned to navigate it with the help of scripture and coaching. Using biblical insights like Psalm 90:12 (“Teach us to realize the brevity of life...”) and Ephesians 5:15-16, I'll guide you through a faith-based perspective on time management.

As the world marks 50 years since the fall of Saigon and end of the Vietnam War, a group of adoptees who were taken out of the country prior to 1975 are racing against time to find the mothers they were separated from. An event spearheaded by Australian-Vietnamese adoptees saw a group of them embark on a bike ride to raise money for elderly Vietnamese residents and spread awareness of their ongoing search for family.
Time—our most precious and limited resource. Yet how easily we squander it on things that won't matter in eternity while claiming we're too busy for God, our spouses, or our children. In this soul-searching episode, we confront the uncomfortable truth that many of us excel at procrastinating in matters of faith while finding endless hours for entertainment and distractions.Drawing from 2 Peter 1, we examine the apostle's call to "apply all diligence" to our faith, adding moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. When was the last time you evaluated your activities against this biblical standard? Are your entertainment choices and time investments making you a better follower of Christ, or are they simply consuming hours you'll never get back?Patrick Henry's famous "Give me liberty or give me death" speech serves as a powerful framework for understanding America's current spiritual crossroads. Just as Henry warned against the "illusion of hope" regarding peaceful reconciliation with Britain, we must question whether peaceful coexistence with ideologies fundamentally opposed to biblical truth is possible or merely buying time for their advancement. The speech, rich with biblical references often missed by modern readers, reminds us that our founders understood liberty's dependence on spiritual foundations.Remember—our tendency to delay spiritual growth assumes we have tomorrow, when Scripture clearly warns against such presumption. What relationships are you neglecting? What spiritual disciplines are you postponing? What truths are you afraid to speak? As Patrick Henry declared, if we remain silent when truth demands our voice, we commit "an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven." Where will you invest your irreplaceable time today?Support the showThe American Soul Podcasthttps://www.buzzsprout.com/1791934/subscribe

Submission guidelines can be found at http://www.TallTaleTV.com ---- About Tall Tale TV ---- Hi there! My name is Chris Herron and I'm an audiobook narrator. In 2015, I suffered from poor Type 1 diabetes control which lead me to become legally blind for almost a year. The doctors didn't give me much hope, predicting an 80% chance that I would never see again. But I refused to give up and changed my lifestyle drastically. Through sheer willpower (and an amazing eye surgeon) I beat the odds and regained my vision. During that difficult time, I couldn't read or write, which was devastating as they had always been a source of comfort for me since childhood. However, my wife took me to the local library where she read out the titles of audiobooks to me. I selected some of my favorite books, such as the Disc World series, Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, and more, and the audiobooks brought these stories to life in a way I had never experienced before. They helped me through the darkest period of my life and I fell in love with audiobooks. Once I regained my vision, I decided to pursue a career as an audiobook narrator instead of a writer. That's why I created Tall Tale TV, to support aspiring authors in the writing communities that I had grown to love before my ordeal. My goal was to help them promote their work by providing a promotional audio short story that showcases their writing skills to readers.
