In today's episode, I am sharing a conversation that I had with Andy Krainak during the Art D'Égypte 2022 Talks Series in Cairo. The theme of our talk was The Secrets of Building & Launching a Successful NFT/Web3 Project. Andy Krainak serves as the President of VeeFriends. Andy is an experienced digital and brand strategist with a 8+ year work history in Personal Branding, Growth Marketing and Social Media Advertising and served Gary Vaynerchuk's personal brand team (Team GaryVee) before taking over at VeeFriends. We took the stage to tell the story of @veefriends, to share our experiences on the launching of a NFT Project and thoughts on the Web3 world. We also had an insightful Q&A with artists, entrepreneurs and the Web3 curious. Links Andy Krainak on social: Instagram • Twitter • LinkedIn Veefriends

David is the man behind the magic of Gary Vaynerchuck (GaryVee). He is the executive creative director for Team Garyvee and is incredible. He is currently the Head of Community & Social Media for VeeFriends, an NFT-centric platform connecting Gary's fans through his creative NFT art - and has become a household name attached to Team GaryVee. He makes getting after it look easy and his positive attitude is said to have helped the Grinch love Christmas… Please welcome our next guest, Zain Gaziani
If you didn’t already know, before I started my own business, I spent a few years working on Gary Vaynerchuk’s team, specifically, on his personal brand, Team Garyvee. Working with Gary on his brand was such an educational and life-changing experience, and that opportunity started my passion for personal branding (and I’ve been living and breathing it ever since!). This week’s episode was an exciting one for me. I had the honor of being interviewed as a guest on The Sasha Group’s new podcast, Building While Flying, where they focus on tackling uncertain times by adopting an uncertainty mindset—we can't predict the future, but we can listen, learn, apply and share as we all navigate complex times together. If you aren’t familiar with the Sasha Group, it’s part of the Vayner X umbrella of companies that services small and mid-sized businesses through a variety of marketing offerings. It was exciting to be able to reconnect and collaborate with the Vayner family, and this interview brings things full circle. Naturally, we chatted about all things personal branding. Whether you’re new to personal branding or not, this episode is full of valuable gems and takeaways! On Ep. 153, we cover: My passion for personal branding: How I discovered it and developed my own brand Why you should be developing your personal brand, especially if you are an entrepreneur The path of least resistance: How to approach your content strategy Niching down: Why it’s critical to know exactly who you are talking to Checks and balances: Why you need trusted people around you who will tell you “no” What it actually means to be authentic and why it matters Quickfire personal branding Q&A, what I’m up to next, and more! How the f**k did Max Browne go from outranking the likes of Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield and Mitch Trubisky in high school football rankings to heading up and managing the social team for Lewis Howes? On today’s episode, we talk with Max his college football years playing for USC and Pitt, and how he spent some time off the field practicing his play-by-play announcing skills calling out two-minute drills at practices. After college, he moved to the East Coast working as a channel manager for Team GaryVee. He continued to build up his on-camera talent through his own YouTube channel. That channel and an early-morning pickup basketball game helped him land a few appearances that jump-started his career. So how did Max get connected to Lewis Howes? And what was Max’s first-ever Instagram post?

He is the guy who told Gary during a Q&A at a keynote speech that he would like to come work for him as a community manager and Gary asked him in front of everyone if he wanted to come to New York... and the rest, as they say, is history! TRADMOR stands for Trusted Advisor Mortgages and I chose this name for my company because my focus in mortgage lending is working with CPAs, Enrolled Agents, Financial Planners and any other Trusted Advisor Financial Professionals to help them provide home loans for their clients. I’ve been a mortgage broker in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1992 and also founded a software company in 1994 which is still up and running. I have invented several different software systems that have been brought to market with varying levels of success over the years. My two most productive projects are called Cypher and RateAnalyzer and these systems have been used by more than 500 different independent financial professionals to provide thousands of home loans for their clients over the past 20 years or so. In 1998 I applied for several patents for these and other systems, as well as seeking patent protection for the ways we anticipated the technology progressing down the road. I actually applied for patents covering online mortgage loan application systems before the first online mortgage application was done in the United States. I wrote all the original Provisional Patent Applications myself and started seeking competent legal help a little less than a year later. Since that time I’ve been awarded six patents for the systems and methods I invented and to be honest it is a miracle that I was able to write the Provisional Patent Applications on my own (using a NOLO PRESS book) that were able to turn into something useful. I would never advise an independent inventor to take on that task on their own. You know the common belief that practicing something for 10,000 hours makes you an expert? I’ve been doing this all day plus nights and weekends for more than 10,000 DAYS and this has made me an expert in mortgage finance, real estate and credit issues. Podcast listeners think you're really going to love this episode. We wanted to have an impromptu conversation to discussions some topics that were on our mind. Current state of Team Gary Vee, what we're working on for personal development, and lots of laughs and banter. What I love about being on this team is the open minded yet driven nature of my teammates. Every day is a learning experience both with learning how to edit a podcast (something I'm learning) and interpersonal development, like putting your ego aside for the better of the team. Interested to hear what you think. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/noovernightsuccess/support

Danyah Aossey is the most recent videographer to join Team GaryVee at VaynerMedia. As part of Team Gary she shoots and edits videos for Gary’s wide range of social media channels including one of his pillar pieces of content, the ‘DailyVee’. Prior to working at VaynerMedia, Danyah had intentions of working in traditional film even working on the movie ‘Steve Jobs’ starring Michael Fassbender and several different reality TV shows. Unfortunately, she was in a car accident which resulted from another driver falling asleep at the wheel - she was unable to carry the big cameras around and as a result she shifted her focus to digital media. In our conversation we cover her career in the traditional film industry, her foray into digital including an overview of her social channels, her consulting business and a conversation around current social trends. Of course we also cover all things Vayner, how she landed her residency on Team GaryVee, what the day to day is like, her first day, what it’s like following Gary around for the DailyVees, the culture at Vayner and more! This episode is really special for me. Cesar's one of those people you meet that has a peaceful presence about him. He brings out the best in his teammates and empowers them to be their best selves. This couldn't have been more evident than when people spoke about Cesar yesterday. It was his last day on Team GaryVee (felt more like a leave of absence honestly) and people shared stories, moments, and toasts to Cease. After 2+ years in NYC he's moving back to Florida to be closer to family, and as Cease paints it, "I follow my intuition, and it feels right." Getting to know Cesar over the last few months it's obvious he leads with his heart and puts people before himself, he loves to guide and help people grow. Cesar is the epitome of "Be the Change you want to see in the world." I hope our paths cross in the future. ------------------- Lil Vee was just an idea to make a cartoon that was both entertaining and educational to teach kids entrepreneurship. Raghav was the first person on Team GV I got a chance to get to know. We had a team outing the first week and we vibed from the first minute. It's easy to see why once you get to know Raghav. He's full of wisdom, knowledge and insight, yet isn't imposing with it. He's charismatic and fun to be around. He's constantly challenging himself and I got to pick his brain for an hour. Raghav will definitely come back on - we have a lot more depth to cover and I'm looking forward to it. Max Browne is a former captain and starting quarterback at both USC and Pitt. During his senior season he suffered a season ending injury that ultimately wound up being a career ending injury. Today, Max is a channel manager on Team GaryVee and works out of the VaynerMedia office in New York City. In our conversation we discuss how Max got a job at VaynerMedia, the Instagram accounts he runs for VaynerMedia that aren’t associated with Gary or Vayner, trends in social media, how he was able to create opportunity for himself by producing his own sports analysis content from his kitchen, his football career and more! I also want to give Max a shoutout for allowing me to ask about some difficult topics including some tough times he faced at USC, including losing the starting job to Sam Darnold and admitting to himself that he was not going to play in the NFL. When people hear Max Browne's story it's hard to compare on the surface. Football star in high school, highly recruited, full scholarship to 1 of the best football schools in the country in USC, media attention, tons of success at a young age. What we fail to recognize is Max experiences the same ups and downs we all go through, and he opens up and shares about that in this episode. What resonated with me most was Max's humility and self-awareness for someone who just turned 24 years young. Since I met Max playing ball and getting to know him better on Team GaryVee just a few months ago, his desire to improve, grow, learn and challenge himself is second to none. He's a competitor through and through and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to sit down and get to know him better! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/noovernightsuccess/support

Caleb Ralston is one of Gary Vaynerchuk’s personal videographers. When I was in New York I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to sit down and chat with Caleb for 30 minutes in VaynerMedia. In our conversation we discuss how he got his job with Team GaryVee, what his schedule is like, lessons he has learned from not only Gary but other members on the team like DRock and Andy (Krainak). One of the most common questions I get when it comes to building a personal brand is if it is necessary to hire a videographer specifically for social media and personal brand content. The next question after that is almost always, "How do I find one?" I have experience now on both sides of the aisle. I worked closely with videographers at VaynerMedia on Team Garyvee, on VaynerTalent, and with my solo personal brand clients. I have now also worked closely with videographers for my own personal brand. That brings me to this week's interview is with Mason Tompkins, who is a videographer, editor, photographer, and creator. Mason works with corporate and personal brands to create content and he's currently working with the brand, K-Swiss. Not only that, but Mason is someone who has actually worked with me through a few different iterations of my business (and he might be the only one who's done this). We worked together on VaynerTalent, when I was still at Vaynermedia, and we've worked together on other clients since then. Mason has also been helping me with some of my own projects for my own brand, and it's been exciting to have him along for that ride. This interview was a great honest conversation that gives you a peek at what it's like behind the scenes as a videographer in this personal brand space. On this episode, we cover: Do you need a videographer for your personal brand? This week my guest is Akvile DeFazio, President of AKvertise, Inc., and an expert in the realm of paid social advertising. Whether it's Facebook and Instagram ads to Linkedin, Twitter and Pinterest, she has seen what is working in all types of campaigns from brand awareness to conversions. Being skilled at social advertising or having someone who is skilled working with you can genuinely change the fate of your company. When I was on Team Garyvee, I had experience running ads for gary, but the space is really incredibly nuanced and I think it's important to talk to people who really love to live, eat, and breathe this space. Akvile is one of those people. Just like with my work in the personal branding space, much of paid social advertising has to do with the actual individual business goals and then executing on a strategy with specific targeting, copy, and content. I tried to cover as many bases as possible to get information that applies to B2b, B2C, physical and digital products. On this episode we talk: Facebook & Instagram advertising – what you need to know to get started! LinkedIn Ads – who are they best for?
