Social media gives us different ways to market, from influencers to gifs, or videos. You can use whatever is at your disposal to boost your company's social media marketing strategies. In this replay session from CyberMarketingCon2022 speaker Cait Hassett, Channel Manager at Blackpoint Cyber, will give you all that and more. She discusses various aspects of social media, influencer marketing, and cybersecurity. Cait also shares her journey transitioning from consumer-focused marketing to B2B strategies at Keeper Security. Hey everyone! We just released a new episode of the AZREIA Show featuring the Airbnb Queen, Jacinda Neustel. In this episode, Jacinda shares her journey of how she got started with Airbnb and her tips for success in the vacation rental industry, here are three takeaways from the episode: This episode is packed with valuable insights and tips for anyone interested in the vacation rental industry. Make sure to tune in and take notes! Jacinda Neustel shared some amazing insights and takeaways that I wanted to share with you all. Here are my top three takeaways from the episode: 1. Always be willing to learn: Jacinda shared that she started her Airbnb journey by reaching out to hosts and asking to meet them and learn from them. Even with 47 properties under her belt, she still believes in the importance of learning and growing in the industry. As entrepreneurs, we should always be open to learning from others and seeking out mentors. 2. Don't try to do everything yourself: Jacinda admitted that one of her biggest challenges was trying to handle everything herself. She realized that in order to scale and grow her business, she needed to delegate and outsource certain tasks. As entrepreneurs, we often fall into the trap of thinking we can do everything, but it's important to recognize when it's time to ask for help. 3. Customer experience is key: Jacinda emphasized the importance of providing a five-star experience for her guests. In the vacation rental industry, customer experience is everything. By prioritizing the guest experience and going above and beyond to make their stay memorable, hosts can earn rave reviews and repeat business. Key Takeaways [00:00:48] Starting an Airbnb Business. [00:03:39] Midterm rentals in Fort Wayne. [00:06:31] Airbnb for transitional housing. [00:11:35] Channel Manager and Turnover. [00:22:11] Transitioning out of unprofitable properties. Climbing up the nearest tree, the Swordsman Hero did his best to get a lay of the land. There was a large forest nearby, and an even bigger one a bit farther away. He knew of the city that lay on the other side of the distant forest, though it would be a long walk to get there. He made his way back down the tree, and informed his companions of what he had seen. They decided they would make their way to the city, and began to clean up their camp. After gathering their things they set out, excited to return to civilization that wouldn't include vampires. This podcast is recorded at a perfect time for us with HubSpot and Salesforce Partner Tracks around the corner, we are working with our friends at Dealhub (represented today by channel leader Omer Fuchs, VP of Strategic Alliances) to prepare their partner track with the intent of finding and aligning with more solutions partners like our guests on this episode. With him is Diana Gonzalez Sr. Channel Manager at RevPartners and the Robert “RevOps” Jones, the Sales Director at RevPartners. This type of partnership is one where the agency becomes a power user and product expert using their own process optimization first, then role it out to the clients. This is a very different relationship than say Shopify has with their partners (agencies don't run their internal sales ops on top of Shopify). Which means, the level of product and partnership synergy can either happen very quickly, or fall flat due to some internal stakeholder on the partners' team not being fully sold on the product for their use, and therefore the senior person is now in the middle getting requests from the tech partner manager that they have no answer for since that persons' team is not bought into using it. In short, this type of partnership almost has to be a power user first. The big question then becomes - does this type of agency-partnership have to start with them using the product internally, and becoming a power user? Then begs the question - does that mean you have to sell them an account? Or do you gift them one? In either case, on this episode, we will be reviewing: Intros (related to services, partners)... Ideal partnerships you both look for… What about your partnership is unique or exciting… Both perceptions… What type of partnership is this expected to be… The levels of enablement RevPartners expects from their partners… GTM plans… When partnerships break in general… What you both are doing to ensure this partnership is successful… Anecdotes from both sides… Ways both sides can better enable their partners to succeed… Sponsors: Reveal - A free account mapping solution. Meet Heather Davis, the creator of the Stone City Treehouse in Hardwick, Vermont. Heather grew up in New York but always had great affinity for the Green Mountain State — so much so that her only criteria for where to go to college was that it had to be in Vermont. In 2012 Heather started renting her home on Airbnb in order to help pay the bills. Being a single mom with two teenagers in Vermont was not always easy! She had such a positive experience with the platform and the guests who stayed in her home that she started dreaming about how she might expand her business. And that's when the idea for the Stone City Treehouse was born. Tune in to hear the story behind how Heather built the Treehouse with a little help from the DIY Network's The Treehouse Guys, and how she generated over 500 incredible reviews and 12k followers on Instagram. “As this trend of cloud continues, customers are going to more and more want cloud communications,” says Frank Seltzer, ConnectMeVoice's Channel Manager. “If you don't sell it, someone else will.” In this podcast, we update listeners on the progress of ConnectMeVoice's new Clarity open UCaaS platform and management portal, which was announced in January. Seltzer believes that the channel must sell both VoIP and Cloud, to block competition and to make their offerings more “sticky”. We learn how Clarity has simplified setup and management of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) by making everyday administration simpler, more transparent, and intuitive. Clarity helps simplify things at the actual end user level, while offering powerful, labor saving tools to the MSP community. Seltzer also outlines how ConnectMeVoice helps simplify the telecommunications tax challenges. Seltzer discusses the company's upcoming appearance at ITEXPO and MSPExpo in Fort Lauderdale and involvement with the Cloud Communications Alliance. Visit www.connectmevoice.com

Businesses in Ireland are currently struggling to comprehensively measure, monitor and report on the range of metrics that they contribute to as part of the energy transition and in taking positive climate action. According to new independent research conducted on behalf of clean energy supplier, Pinergy, by iReach, 27 per cent of SME's, employing less than 100 people, do not currently have any tools for effectively measuring, monitoring and reporting their consumption/contribution when it comes to energy, waste, water, air quality and carbon footprint. The research also highlighted the top three actions businesses are citing to take in reducing their carbon footprint in 2022 are a focus on reducing electricity waste (43 per cent), reducing landfill waste and increasing recycling (40 per cent) and reducing water waste (34 per cent). Despite a growing demand and trend among businesses to play their part to become more sustainable, without the tools to monitor and measure their contributions, many will continue to struggle to effectively manage and implement these stated actions and targets. In response, Pinergy has now developed a new measurement as a service proposition whose aim is to make measurement and reporting accessible to all businesses regardless of size with their simple to use technology. Through this new service, Pinergy will give businesses the ability to measure the performance of their premises or buildings under various metrics. The objective is to ensure that ‘what gets measured, gets managed'. Pinergy will install a series of meters and sensors in the building of its customer, that will enable the business to measure electricity & gas usage (regardless of supplier), water usage, waste usage (with select waste companies) and most timely of all, the quality of the air in their buildings. In terms of measurable performance indicators, Pinergy will be able to offer businesses real time data, automated reporting, target and benchmark settings, carbon reporting and various other sustainability measurements across each of the categories covering energy, water, waste and air quality. For Property Management firms in particular this information can really help in delivering on key ESG goals. Companies are already using Measurement as a Service to streamline their reporting; John O Donovan with the JLL Management Agent team at The Tio North Dock One & North Dock Two building in Dublin said: “This is a service that is very important to us, for monitoring energy and utility usage which reduces cost and saves time by bringing together a number of different reports into one portal.” Commenting on this latest development for Pinergy, Colm Foley, Channel Manager, Business, said: “At Pinergy, we are constantly looking for new ways that our customers can make the most of not only their energy usage but how they can most efficiently manage their buildings and premises. Not only can we now give our customers the ability to measure sustainability KPIs such as their carbon footprint, but we can also show how well utilities such as Electricity, Gas and Water are being used across their property portfolio.” “Delivering our Measurement as a Service offering is empowering our customers with data and insights to make more informed decisions that are better for the business and better for the environment.” See more stories here More about Irish Tech News Irish Tech News are Ireland's No. 1 Online Tech Publication and often Ireland's No.1 Tech Podcast too.
