But the Mavs came out of the locker fired up lead by Kyrie Irving who had a big 2nd half finishing with 30 and the Mavs defense was again very aggressive holding the Clippers to just 20 points in the 3rd qtr. Clippers struggled from beyond the arc shooting just 25% which was a theme in all the Clippers loses. Norm Powell lead the Clippers off the bench with 20 114-101 the final Mavs win the series 4-2

Clippers lead after the first quarter 23-18 but then were outscored in the 2nd qtr 36-18 and it was all Dallas from there. Kawhi Leonard was a liability and is still not up to game speed scoring 9 Paul George was also very off finishing with 7. James Harden and Norm Powell kept the Clippers afloat with 21 each Harden was 5 of 8 from beyond the arc. Mavs lead the series now 2-1

They knew the  Sixers don't turn the ball leading the league in that department, but they lost that battle as well. The Clippers fell behind early at Target center but battled back in the 2nd going on a 16-0 run. Norm Powell got hot from beyond arc when other Clippers, James Harden, Ivica Zubac and Paul George were struggling. Powel finished with 24 which included 6 3's Kawhi Leonard was equally fantastic a get on my back type of performance finishing 32. The season series with the Timberwolves still lead by Minnesota 2-1 after the 89-88 low scoring win for the Clippers.

Clippers battle back after looking tired and ready for the All-Star Break for 3 1/2 quarters. They kept grinding and Norm Powell got hot in the 4th hitting quarter four consecutive 3 pointers.
