Enough Is Enough! 1 Peter 3:20-21 NKJV 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 4:1-6 NKJV 1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. 5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. I. The Days of Noah Gen. 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Gal. 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Ash Wednesday is an invitation for us to “examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). As we begin the Lenten season and seek deeper communion with Christ, we look to Hebrews 3:12-15 for some examination. How many stories have you heard of someone who loved Jesus, served Jesus, was active in the church, maybe even a leader in the church—and then seemingly out of nowhere, fell away from not only the church, but Jesus as well? This should cause you to think, How does this happen? Why does this happen? You see, the drift into spiritual apathy is a slow one—and it could happen to you, too. Hebrews 3:12-15 reveals to us the process by which it can happen and how to avoid it. This is one of the reasons why the book of Hebrews was written: to urge and encourage believers to persevere in their walk with Christ as our anchor, lest we fall away too. May the Spirit of God soften our hearts, convict us of sin, and awaken us from spiritual slumber to take real inventory of our hearts, minds, and lives that we would follow Christ truly and wholeheartedly. BIG IDEA: I will either persevere with Christ or fall away from Christ. How to Fall Away from ChristNever check your heart (12)Ignore warnings (13a) Live in sin (13b)How to Persevere with Christ Share in identity of Christ (14a) Hold firm to faith in Christ (14b) Listen to Christ's voice today! Episode 2867: Evan Marc Katz explores the emotional aftermath of dating disappointments through the story of Paul, a good man hardened by repeated heartbreak. Katz challenges women to reflect on their own dating patterns, suggesting that true relationship success lies in both choosing better partners and embodying the generosity they wish to receive. The takeaway is clear: give wisely, love openly, and walk away from those who can't reciprocate. Read along with the original article(s) here: https://www.evanmarckatz.com/blog/understanding-men/you-have-two-choices-choose-better-men-or-treat-men-better Quotes to ponder: "You can literally change the way he acts towards you just by being happier, more playful, more generous and less judgmental towards him." "It's not HIS fault he's taking advantage of you. It's YOUR fault for choosing him and staying with him, the same as it's Paul's fault for perpetually choosing selfish women over givers." "Have you been the 'giver' in relationships and concluded that you're never going to be that way again?"
As a new year starts, it is good for us to remind ourselves that there are only two paths for our life. One is the wicked or ungodly way that tries to function without God. The other is the godly way. This way starts with a heart that listens and meditates on what God says. This leads to stability in this life and safety in eternity.

In this message, Pastor Brandon walks through Matthew 7:7 to 29 and explains how Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount with a sobering reality. There are only two paths, two gates, two trees, two fruits, two teachers, two prophets, two voices, and two foundations. Every person must choose. Jesus contrasts true discipleship with counterfeit spirituality and warns that outward religion without inward obedience will collapse when judgment comes. This passage not only warns unbelievers about salvation, it also calls believers to choose obedience, discernment, and a life built on God's standard rather than the world's. Jesus invites His followers to enter the narrow gate, walk the difficult road of discipleship, reject false teaching, and build their lives on the solid rock of His Word. Pastor Brandon also shows how these contrasts fit into the broader Kingdom program. The narrow way leads to life and future reward, while the broad way leads to loss, destruction, and a wasted life at the Judgment Seat of Messiah. Learn to ask, seek, and knock. Enter the narrow gate. Examine the fruit. Listen to the true Shepherd. Build your life on the rock and avoid the collapse of a life built on sand. Watch now and let the words of Jesus guide your choices in these last days.

Send us a textMost people, no all people would like to have a happy life. but how many make the choices to do so? Jesus talked about the two choices we have in this life and there are only two. One leads to life and one leads to destruction. And believe it or not, most people make the choice that leads to destruction. Why is that?I guess that's one of the mysteries of life. But you can listen carefully so you will make the right choice because both choices have eternal ramifications.

If “decision paralysis” has stalled your next steps forward, this episode is for YOU!I'll explain why an endless loop of “possibilities” keeps you in limbo and how to narrow your pool of options to finally make decisions with a little more ease. I'll introduce you to my client Faith* who feels lost in a cycle of “Should I Stay Or Go?” and give you the only real question you need to ask yourself. Feeling trapped between two impossible choices? Whether it's staying in a relationship after betrayal or walking away, deciding whether to tell the full truth or keep things buried, or any other major life decision, binary thinking can make it seem like there are only two options, when, in reality, there are more. In this episode, I explore how black-and-white thinking limits your ability to make the best decision for your future, why your brain naturally defaults to false dilemmas, and how to open up new possibilities that you might not have considered. What You'll Learn: Why binary thinking feels so real, and why it's rarely accurate. How emotions can distort the way you see your choices. The impact of cognitive rigidity on decision-making, especially after infidelity. How to step back and find third (or fourth) options that align better with your personal needs. Practical exercises to help you break free from “either/or” thinking and make more empowered decisions. Key Takeaways:

There are two ways to look at the problems facing America. One of them is the loser way, the path of complaining and viewing everything as hopeless. The other is the winner's path, which sees America's problems as fixable and wants to play a direct role in those solutions. In his opening remarks to The People's Convention in Detroit, Charlie charts out the winning attitude that is conservatives' only hope for winning the election and saving America.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
