Although we start with a tiny bit about Boomer's golf outing, Jerry presents Ben Stiller talking about Pat McAfee, and how he was ‘not familiar with his game'. The Thunder beat the T-Wolves to advance to the NBA Finals.
Jerry starts with Evan Roberts taking a shot at Wally Szczerbiak, calling him ‘boring'. The Thunder advanced to the NBA finals, eliminating the T-Wolves. Julius Randle was disappointed after the loss. The Yankees beat the Angels and Ron Washington intentionally walked Aaron Judge in his first two at bats. Caleb Williams met the media to talk about the story that came out a few weeks ago that said he wanted the Vikings and not the Bears.
Juan Soto's recent struggles with the Mets, including an 0-for-4 performance and boos from fans, have drawn concern, with David Ortiz defending him and questions arising about his unusual demeanor and lack of "flare." While Mets manager Carlos Mendoza vaguely referenced Soto's "lower half" being in a good position. In other sports news, the Thunder advanced to the NBA Finals after defeating the T-Wolves, and the Yankees swept the Angels with a 1-0 shutout, extending their winning streak. The Mets, however, lost to the White Sox. The discussion also touched upon Ben Stiller's unfamiliarity with Pat McAfee's "game" and Spike Eskin's frustration with the "tough guy act" in baseball retaliation. Finally, a segment covered Stefon Diggs being seen on a yacht with a "pink powder" believed to be a drug called "Tusi" reportedly involved, raising concerns about the Patriots' potential reaction.

Finally, a segment covered Stefon Diggs being seen on a yacht with a "pink powder" believed to be a drug called "Tusi" reportedly involved, raising concerns about the Patriots' potential reaction. Hour 2 Tonight's Knicks-Pacers elimination game was previewed, with discussion including potential lineup changes and Juan Soto's struggles with the Mets, leading to speculation about his age and plate approach. In other sports news, the Thunder advanced to the NBA Finals, and the Yankees defeated the Angels, notably intentionally walking Aaron Judge twice. Caleb Williams addressed past reports about his preferred team. The segment concluded with a bizarre dream recounted by Gio, involving a committed crime and family support. Hour 3 Boomer believes the Knicks won't fire Thibs if they lose tonight, while a caller plans to attend the game courtesy of his "sugar momma." Jerry's update included Chris Russo's mispronunciation of "OG Anunoby" and news of the Thunder advancing to the NBA Finals and the Yankees sweeping the Angels. Frank The Tank controversially labeled Juan Soto a bigger bust than JaMarcus Russell. Other updates included Joe Flacco on mentoring Browns quarterbacks, John Harbaugh discussing Justin Tucker's release, and the Florida Panthers reaching their third consecutive Stanley Cup Finals. The hour concluded with speculation about a hidden injury or personal issues affecting Soto. Hour 4 Discussion touched on Kenny Albert's broadcasting career and Juan Soto's struggles with the Mets, with some listeners comparing it to past Yankee player performance issues. Jerry's final update previewed Knicks/Pacers and covered the Yankees' 1-0 win over the Angels and the Mets' loss to the White Sox, despite manager Carlos Mendoza's positive remarks on Soto's "lower half." Other news included Caleb Williams addressing draft rumors and Mike Vrabel's apparent displeasure with Stefon Diggs' off-field activities, leading to predictions he won't remain a Patriot. The Florida Panthers also advanced to their third straight Stanley Cup Finals. The show concluded with differing opinions on the Knicks' playoff hopes.

The weekend is so close, I can almost taste those ice-cold beers! Started the morning off with the Thursday Song and we asked each other hypothetical questions. Brian's question for Jean was, "Can you summarize your life so far in under 15 words?" Jean's question for Brian was, "Would you rather a solo work trip to somewhere mundane, or a group work trip to somewhere fun & exciting?" In the news this morning, a La Crosse man is headed to federal prison for dealing meth, an Eau Claire man was charged after pointing a gun at another person & fleeing police, Elon Musk is leaving the Trump administration, nine cities in Wisconsin made this year's list of the best places to live, and Ford has recalled a bunch of vehicles for a camera issue. In sports, the Brewers completed the series sweep of the Red Sox yesterday, the Thunder beat the T-Wolves to advance to the NBA finals, and the Panthers beat the Hurricanes to win the East and move on to the Stanley Cup final. Elsewhere in sports, a change for the PGA tour, Charlie Woods gets a big win, a stabbing after a Knicks/Pacers game, a grounds crew member who didn't want to be on camera, and a very wet post-game interview. We talked about what's on TV today and also discussed "arbitrary anniversaries", and why Tinder is revamping it's app. Great story about a family who was able to learn more about their war hero father thanks to some documentary footage, an aquarium that's hosting a sleepover, and a woman who took her father on her honeymoon after breaking up with her fiancé just days before the wedding. ICYMI, the Falcons made a boo-boo on the internet yesterday. Several food-related stories this morning, including Arby's steak nuggets, a new Twix flavor, and Pizza Hut has a new app! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about some pigeons on a plane, a woman who hit a kid after he called her fat, some hikers who thought their friend had died, and a guy who DJs at orgies. Hour 1 The Knicks took Game 3 on Sunday, with Brunson and Hart leading the charge. They look to continue their road winning streak tonight in Indiana, where Tyrese Haliburton's dad will be in attendance. Jerry provided an update, noting Charles Barkley had counted the Knicks out when they were down 13. In baseball, the Yankees defeated the Angels, and the Mets beat the White Sox on a Francisco Lindor sac fly. Gio avoided the norovirus, unlike his daughter, and Stephen Waldron is out due to an appendectomy. Finally, Pablo Torre rented the Airbnb where the Bill Belichick Ring camera footage was taken. Hour 2 Tonight is Game 4 for the Knicks and Pacers and calls came in about people surprisingly wanting the Knicks coach fired, despite their run to the Eastern Conference Finals. Jerry provided an update with OG Anunoby on the Knicks' Game 3 win, and Kevin Harlan's funny "I'm wet, I'm dirty" comment from Game 2. Bill Simmons had Jon Stewart on his podcast where they talked about WFAN, Mike & The Maddog, and "two bald guys." The Yankees beat the Angels thanks to an Anthony Volpe bases-clearing double, making them 13 games over .500, and the Mets won on a Francisco Lindor sac fly, with Gary Cohen on the call. There were also furries in the crowd. Finally they discussed the missing Larry Johnson 4-point ball and more about the furries. Hour 3 Tonight's Knicks-Pacers Game 4 is being hyped as another "biggest game in 25 years." A caller who caught Boomer's football from Friday weighed in, and questions arose about how "furries" got into Citi Field. Jerry's update covered the Knicks-Pacers preview and the Thunder's 3-1 series lead over the T-Wolves. The Yankees beat the Angels again, with Anthony Volpe hitting a 3-run double, as heard on Dave Sims's call. Jerry also shared audio from an Australian radio show about short-lived marriages. The Mets secured their third straight win. A caller even wondered if Phil Simms is a fox furry. The hour concluded with talk of the "Kickoff To Summer" with Chris Lane and more anticipation for the Knicks game. Hour 4 The Jets reportedly wanted to keep the "tush push," potentially for Justin Fields. Gio's contacts found the Brett Favre documentary disappointing, and he wondered about the vanished NJ drones. The conversation then shifted to numerous calls about the Knicks-Pacers game. Jerry's final update included Coach Thibs discussing the Knicks' Sunday comeback. A young fan subtly asked Aaron Rodgers about playing for the Bears, while Joe Burrow preferred an international game over more Baltimore primetime matchups. The Yankees beat the Angels with a Volpe bases-clearing double, and the Mets won against the White Sox on a Lindor sac fly. The "Moment of The Day" involved furry talk with Eddie and Phil Simms. The show concluded with discussions about the high-rated, commercial-heavy Indy 500 and the lengthy challenge reviews in NBA playoff games.

We are live from D'Jais for Kickoff To Summer. We talked about going out to dinner in Asbury Park because it was close to Al's house. It was a BYOB which Boomer doesn't quite understand. Gio went to Top Golf by himself yesterday because Jerry bailed on him. Game 2 of Knicks/Pacers is tonight and Gio is confident they will win. Boomer thinks it will be a 7-game series. Gio thinks Jalen Brunson will ‘take us home'. We talked about Wally losing the Larry Johnson 4-point ball. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first we did a Chef IQ giveaway by playing ‘2 Lies & A Truth'. Adam Schein did not take the game 1 loss very well. OKC went up 2-0 over the T-Wolves. The Yankees beat the Rangers 1-0. In the final segment of the hour, Larry in Indiana drove here this morning.

How does New York recover and how dangerous are the Indiana Pacers team? Jim and TJ also discuss how Minnesota can rebound after such a disappointing loss to Oklahoma City, how SGA has become one of the top players in the league, and how the trade that brought Julius Randle to the T-Wolves and KAT to New York was the best thing that could happen for both teams. Also Jim predicts how both series will play out over the next week. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Conference Finals are here! Between SGA, Jalen Brunson, Haliburton, and Ant, which player do you want to see win their first NBA Championship? Hate 'em or love 'em, the Knicks are good, and that's good for the NBA. Haliburton is going to give Brunson a lot of work and the depth of the Pacers bench and scoring in bunches will hurt the Knicks. On Oddball we are loud with our support of the Knicks… but secretly we think the Pacers have this in the bag. The Thunder-Timberwolves series will be the first time we see Ant Edwards take on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the playoffs... Can the young wolf knock off the MVP? The T-Wolves have flaws, but this series might be there for the taking. Can we trust Julius Randle? J-Dub vindicated himself after game 7, but Chet still has a lot to prove. Plus, people were so upset with Izzy's Cleveland rant that he decided to go on an apology tour. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
