It's been a while since we've talked to veteran womens wrestling star Malia Hosaka and a lot has happened since then. The last time we talked to Malia she was involved in raising money to help get many veteran women wrestlers to the annual Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion. We will talk about that event, the state of not just independent wrestling, but of womens wrestling, especially heading towards WWE's first ever all women pay per view event. The thing we know about Malia is she is very outspoken so be prepared for some comments that may go against the grain, but that is why we love her so much. Coach Gary Schofield from Greater Atlanta Christian school located in Atlanta, Georiga. You may have seen Coach Schofield talk at many clinics and conferences and you know he has been in the business for a long time and has a  wealth of knowledge in strength coaching. He has a nationally recognized high school program down in Atlanta.  Entering his 21st year as a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer (NATA) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS, *D) & Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach® (RSCC*D) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Coach Schofield has had the opportunity to coach and assist in the athletic development of athletes with teams and organizations from the NBA, Arena Football League, East Coast Hockey League, United States Basketball League, WCW Wrestling, North American Soccer League, the Georgia State Olympic Development Program, USA Track & Field and many other pro and amateur organizations. During the past 20 years, he has also been blessed to work individually with over 500 high school athletes that have gone on to NCAA scholarships, over 125 professional athletes, and 3 Olympians. Coach Schofield received a BS in Sports Medicine, with special emphasis in athletic training, from Marietta College (Ohio) in 1993 and have continued his education with the graduate degree program in athletic training at Georgia State University and is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Health & Physical Education from the University of North Georgia.   Along with serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at GACS for the last 13 years, he also currently serves as the NSCA Southeast Regional Coordinator and was named the NSCA National High School Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2012.  The GACS Sports Performance Training Program has received national recognition by being one of only 8 institutions awarded the Strength of America Award from 2010-14 in recognition of developing an elite high school strength and conditioning program. WWE fans remember him best as a fun-loving good guy who battled The Million Dollar Man and “Macho King” Randy Savage alongside his valet Sapphire, but Dusty Rhodes was much more than just a smiling Superstar in polka dot tights. Born the son of a plumber in a poor area of Austin, Texas, Rhodes mixed a blue-collar work ethic with a soul singer’s charisma to become one of the most in-demand stars of the territory days of the 1970s and ’80s. Although he lacked the killer physique of a Hulk Hogan or the technical prowess of a Bob Backlund, “The American Dream” had a magnetism that simply drew audiences to him. From Florida to New York City, crowds lined up to see Rhodes deliver his Bionic Elbow to rivals like Harley Race, Ernie Ladd and “Superstar” Billy Graham. But it wasn’t just the guarantee that Rhodes would spill copious amounts of blood and sweat that put butts in seats — it was The American Dream’s uncanny ability to "talk" people into the arena. Captivating behind a microphone, Rhodes had a TV preacher’s knack to sell his rags-to-riches story, a skill which was summed up in his most famous line, “I have wined and dined with kings and queens and I’ve slept in alleys and dined on pork and beans.” With his gutsy performances and indisputable charisma, Rhodes fought his way to the top of the NWA where he waged a brutal and lengthy war with the legendary Four Horseman while capturing the distinguished NWA World Heavyweight Title on three separate occasions. He also became a creative force behind the scenes, conjuring up inventive bouts like WCW’s oft-imitated War Games: The Match Beyond. We discuss some of our favorite Dusty moments and listen to classic clips. You do not want to miss this tribute.

Hector is a second generation wrestler, son of the late legendary wrestler Gory Guerrero. Hector was born in Mexico City one of four sons and two daughters.Hector began his pro career in 1973 with his first match in Juarez Mexico. Although his pro career may not have started until 1973 Hector grew up in the business with the family traveling and then settling down in El Paso, TX. Unlike most kids Hectors family had a wrestling ring in the back yard instead of swings so he learned a great deal from his father Gory. When his father retired from the ring he started a wrestling promotion business running in El Paso & Juarez that the whole family participated in. Hector was able to learn both sides of the business; wrestling & promoting. Hector has traveled around the world wrestling since his career began going to Japan several times, Championship Wrestling from Florida, MidSouth, AWA, Crockett, WWE & WCW, Mexico, California just to name a few.    He has also appeared in two movies as a stunt double the first was the Bad NewsBears go to Japan where he doubled Tony Curtis to wrestle Japan great Antonio Inoki and in a movie called the Bad Guys were he doubled for Adam Baldwin. Although retired from the ring Hector has 50 plus years in the business. Hector had a successful run of 8 years with TNA Impact Wrestling as a Spanish Color Commentator until lately their agreement has terminated. It's nice to see Gory's legacy still living on with his son's and his Grandson Chavo Jr. Still carrying on the Family Tradition. Viva La Raza!

Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race set a record that stood until Ric Flair broke it in 1991. To this day, only a handful of individuals can claim to have won more World Championships than Harley Race. He earned those titles at the expense of such greats as Dory Funk Jr., Giant Baba, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes and Flair. During the 1970s and early '80s, Race was the NWA's most dominant champion, representing the sport's oldest World Title with pride and defending it with his raw-boned and rugged mat style. His impact was so great that WWE, despite having its own World Champion, chose to recognize Race's title status as well. The tough guy was the first NWA World Champion to engage in title unification matchups against WWE Champions like "Superstar" Billy Graham and Bob Backlund. Race finally joined WWE during the company's national expansion, and was introduced to a new generation of sports-entertainment fans worldwide as "The King" Harley Race. Clad in regal robes and a crown, he faced the late Junkyard Dog in a memorable encounter at WrestleMania III, and was the one of the earliest King of the Ring winners, years before that event became an annual pay-per-view spectacular.

 Ray Lloyd began his wrestling career in the late 1980s after competing for several years in the World Karate Association. He appeared several times over the next few years for WCW, including a house show program with the Great Muta. Due to his martial arts skills Lloyd competed in Japan for UWFI from 1993-96. He joined WCW thereafter as the character, Glacier, who combined pro wrestling and martial arts skills. The name symbolized the power of the elements. His ring entrance was one of the most extravagant in professional wrestling. After WCW he was involved in Dusty Rhodes’ Turnbuckle Wrestling promotion, and thereafter had a backstage role at TNA. He has also worked as a stuntman and actor. Ray is also a big supporter of DDPYOGA and works with DDP himself on occassion. We discuss all of this and so much more so do not miss out!.

No one, not even his long-time handler, Kim Chee ever seemed to know what the Ugandan Giant's next move would be, leading to a many bad nights for the men that stood across from him. Having trained alongside names like Michael Hayes, Percy Pringle, and Terry Gordy just to name a few, Kamala was groomed to be one of the greats. He debuted in 1978, facing The Great Mephisto. Harris originally wrestled as Sugar Bear Harris, then "Ugly Bear" Harris and "Big" Jim Harris. In 1982, Kamala first came into the wrestling scene when he was brought into Mid-South and World Class Championship Wrestling by the devious General Skandor Akbar. While there, he terrorized numerous opponents before leaving for WWE in 1984 going on to face superstars like The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts for example. From the moment he stepped into the WWE ring, Booker T has Spinaroonied his way into superstardom, tangling with a who’s who of squared circle greats, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, Christian, Mark Henry and many others. In 2001, as a member of The Alliance, he cost “Stone Cold” the Undisputed WWE Championship. In 2002, as a tag partner with Goldust, he launched one of the most outrageously funny tandems in WWE history. And in 2006 as King Booker, he delivered what’s widely considered the best faux British accent since Kevin Costner’s turn as the Prince of Thieves in “Robin Hood.”Booker T left WWE in October 2007, but returned in 2011 as part of the biggest Royal Rumble in WWE history. Soon after, the veteran grappler joined the announce team on SmackDown as a color commentator, and appeared as a trainer on USA’s hit reality series “WWE Tough Enough.”  Then in summer 2012, the six-time World Champion added yet another tremendous honor to his resume when he accepted the challenging role of SmackDown General Manager.No matter what role he finds himself in nowadays, though, Booker’s legacy was forever cemented when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2013, and Successfully runs his own Wrestling Promotion Reality of Wrestling based out of Houston Texas.
