Well folks, we finally made it through the last chapter of World Championship Wrestling. In this episode we'll be covering the final Nitro which took place on March 26, 2001. A few days prior to the event, Vince McMahon bought the company and this final episode of Nitro starts with him talking about how the future of WCW is in his hands. This surreal episode took place six days before WrestleMania X-Seven and officially wrapped up the Monday Night Wars On the card dubbed the Night of Champions, every WCW title is on the line, and we also get a match between Shawn Stasiak and Bam Bam Bigelow for no apparent reason. The Nature Boy Ric Flair kicks off matters with a promo and finishes out the final WCW broadcast against the Stinger. This run of shows is mercifully done as we tackled the final sixteen pay per views produced by WCW in Season 4 of The Year of Duke and Rogue. Those were 16 of the worst pay per views of all time. We want to thank you for joining us during these trying times and difficult shows. We promise the next batch of episodes will be less depressing, but this was a historic run that we couldn't say no to covering. We'll be following this up with a recap show and then moving on to something else. Feel free to chime in if there's a year that you would like to hear us cover.
Join @UTTRob and @DanGriffin21 as they continue their journey through the wrestling career of Tank Abbott. This week we head back to the 19th June 2000 Nitro, (which we perviously covered on season 1 episode 26) Vince Russo & Eric Bischoff have fallen out and each gone home for the week leaving Bill Banks, Ed Ferrara & Terry Taylor in charge of creative. The episode features a review also features a review of the 12th June 2000 Nitro. As we have reviewed this Nitro before we focus what changed and stayed the same between creative teams and what we believe could have been Tank's creative if Russo and Bischoff wrote the show. Follow the main show at @UTTPODCAST and this bonus series at @UttTank for details and #Tankfacts.

To make matters worse David Arquette has to have a match with Tank Abbott! We also witness a LEGENDARY Tables Match featuring The Wall and Horace Hogan, Vampiro and Sting have a Graveyard Battle and Shawn Stasiak is trying to break the record for more free throws in basketball made in a row! JORDAN, JAVAUGHN, ANTHONY, VONTE, BRYAN, AND JASE ARE BACK WITH ANOTHER WCW WATCHALONG. JOIN THEM AS THEY WATCH THE APRIL 26, 2000 WCW THUNDER. LISTEN AS THEY DISCUSS LOADED BOOTS, SHAWN STASIAK, WCW MISSING CAMERA CUTS, JOHNNY B BADD RETURNS, BILLY KIDMAN'S AWFUL PROMOS, STING COVERED IN A BLOOD-LIKE SUBSTANCE, MULTIPLE KIDNAPPINGS ON THE SHOW, DAVID ARQUETTE MAKES AN APPEARANCE, LOW BLOWS, AND VINCE RUSSO'S PRESENCE ON THE SHOW.
In speaking with Shawn, I found an intelligent, well-spoken and motivated individual! Besides what has already happened in his careers--he has so much more ahead of him!! WARNING: Some adult language is used in this program!
We made it. We've endured well over 12 hours of the Russo/Bischoff WCW experiment, and in all honesty we are tired. Broken down. Befuddled. Disheartened and angry. Finally, though, we have arrived at the season finale. We debate whether David Arquette ruined wrestling, Eric Bischoff vs Vince Russo, and what Shawn Stasiak's name is. The show ends with Slamboree 2000, a genuine disease of a wrestling PPV. Just know we do this so you don't have to. Vince Russo was all but gone from WCW at this point, but the stench remained. Ric Flair looked dead inside as he limped along as the "CEO of WCW," "Above Average" Mike Sanders was ALSO an authority figure as the Commissioner, and no one cared. Almost every match on this card felt like it should have been held on a Nitro or Thunder. Kevin Nash & DDP were teaming up as the Minimal Effort Given Squad to take on Chuck Palumbo and Shawn Stasiak for the WCW Tag Titles in another jumbled whatever of a match. The big, built-up, Straight Jacket Caged Heat main event between Booker T and Scott Steiner for the World Title even felt lacking. But don't worry. This week, the boys are very excited to welcome former WCW announcer Chad Damiani (JETZO, the upcoming “Fruit Ninja” movie) to the show to discuss the 1989 WWF feature film “No Holds Barred” starring Hulk Hogan, and it’s incoherent “story” which was mainly rewritten by Vince McMahon and Hogan himself. Plus, Chad discusses many wacky road tales from his days in WCW, including mismanagement and clueless booking, iron-clad contracts, backstage politics, promos, Kevin Sullivan, that time when Chuck Palumbo and Shawn Stasiak kept pushing backstage for a mountain gorilla to be their manager, the company’s demise and most importantly, how Chad taught the Hulkster what the internet is. Nick and Joey are very excited to hear these stories, while Stephen is mainly focused on the word “Jockass”. The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Dr Shawn Stasiak. He will discuss the importance of having a healthy back. While being a doctor of chiropractic is a science, art, and philosophy, most importantly it is a blessing and a gift. Though there is a place for most medical professions dealing with the healing arts, chiropractic is by far the most purest and holistic form. Aligning the spine to take away nervous system interferences can dramatically improve ones quality of life and play a major role in preventing future diseases from developing. I also have the opportunity to advice, educate, and inspire others to make the right life choices when dealing with their health and wellness. This is my new found vision and I am excited about the changes I plan on making in as many people as I can in a positive way. That in essence is my mission statement.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview WCW Tag-Team Champion and WWE Hardcore Champion Dr. Shawn Stasiak. He will discuss how we can live a healthy life. From the very beginning of my life I always knew that I wanted to take after my father Stan “The Man” Stasiak and become a professional wrestler. He was one of the pioneers of the wrestling industry, the fifth wrestler in WWE history to become what was then the WWWF champion. This had a huge influence on me wanting to get into the wrestling business myself. The other aspiring career that I always had my eyes on throughout the years was to become a doctor of chiropractic. Today, ladies and gentlemen, that is what I have become. It didn't come easy. In fact, nothing in my life including my wrestling career came easy. I had to work very hard to attain both of those career titles. While wrestling was hard on my body physically, chiropractic school was the hardest thing mentally I ever had to endure. Talk about a humbling experience and having to reach deep down to see what kind of character I really had. I committed myself to completing four years of chiropractic medical school and still finding the time and energy to push myself in the gym, at times feeling mentally and physically drained, but always pushing forward determined to achieve my goal of becoming a chiropractor. I stayed physically fit, knowing this would actually make me a more productive student mentally.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview WWE WCW Super Star Shawn Stasiak. He Will Discuss The WCW Invasion. Here is the article: http://www.wcwworldwide.com/2016/04/shawn-stasiak-wcw-wrestlemania-x-seven/
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Former WCW Tag Team Champion and WWE Star Shawn Stasiak. Shawn Stasiak is a second-generation wrestler, his father is Stan "the Man" Stasiak. Stasiak started his major wrestling career in the WWF under the name of Meat. He would come to the ring with women and they would have him do things. His first pay-per-view match was his pay-per-view debut match against another newcomer of the time, Kurt Angle. After a short while, he dropped the Meat name and gimmick and started using his real name, but he was fired from the WWF for allegedly taping other superstar's conversations. He entered into World Championship Wrestling and immediately took a "Mr. Perfect"-like gimmick, feuding with Curt Hennig. He then teamed up with Chuck Palumbo and won the WCW Tag Team Championships a few times until that team split up and he joined another team that split up; Shawn Stasiak teamed with Mark Jindrak until WCW was sold to WWF. Since the invasion in 2001, he had very little success, but now that he was drafted under Ric Flair and appears on RAW, his potential was limitless, with his new identity Planet Stasiak. However, he was let go from the WWE in early 2003.
This week we once again dive into the world of Titan City. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and special guest Sid Kuhn discuss the..."plot." The group also discusses several other things, which include: Attempting to sell Norm de Plume on the entertainment value wrestling. It goes as expected. How to perform a RKO. Also, RKO Vines. Matt and Daniel try not to talk about WWE Supercards. They fail. Stay for the post-credits sequence to hear us weigh in on Rocky movies. Put the pitchforks away: Rocky 5 is agreed upon as unwatchable. Finally, there is a Shawn Stasiak joke in the show. Nobody is going to get it, but we assure you: It's solid.
