d4vd — the preliminary hearing put sealed evidence into open court and the defense used every minute of cross-examination to attack the prosecution's physical evidence. Blair Berk established that all three chainsaws recovered from the defendant's residence tested negative for blood. Prosecutors never ordered DNA testing on any of them. The tools that the prosecution says were used in the alleged dismemberment of Celeste Rivas Hernandez have no biological material connecting them to the crime.Berk also went after evidence handling: the cadaver bag was not fully preserved during collection and the burn cage was not seized during the initial search. If the prosecution's theory depends on these items, the defense is arguing the items don't support the theory. On the financial side, testimony established that the defendant earned more than ten million dollars. But the defense showed that his mother and his financial manager handled virtually all transactions — building distance between the defendant and any alleged financial motive. Three special circumstances are alleged: lying in wait, financial gain, and the allegation he acted to eliminate a witness. The DA has not yet decided whether to seek the maximum penalty.Eric Faddis breaks down what the defense accomplished, where the prosecution has to fill gaps before trial, and whether the special circumstances survive this hearing.Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? d4vd — prosecutors told a Los Angeles courtroom that online purchases of chainsaws, a cadaver bag, a shovel, and an inflatable pool were central to the alleged dismemberment and cover-up of Celeste Rivas Hernandez's death. They presented financial records, delivery logs, and alias accounts allegedly tied to the defendant. The digital trail is extensive. But the defense exposed a gap: all three chainsaws recovered from the defendant's home tested negative for blood. No DNA testing was performed. The tools that prosecutors say carried out the alleged cover-up have no biological evidence connecting them to the crime. Berk also pressed on evidence handling — the cadaver bag was not fully preserved and the burn cage was not collected during the initial search.Matching tattoos were shown in court. Prosecutors allege two specific fingers bearing a tattoo of his name were removed from Celeste's body and have never been located. Financial testimony put earnings above ten million dollars, but the defense demonstrated the defendant's mother and financial manager ran every transaction.Eric Faddis examines whether the defense is planting real trial strategy or just running standard cross-examination — and how a prosecution survives the gap between its theory and its physical evidence.Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? From early examples in horror literature and film to the rise of the slasher genre in the 1970s and 1980s, we examine how the trope developed and why it became so important to horror storytelling. We discuss the academic origins of the term, the characteristics traditionally associated with the Final Girl, and how characters like Laurie Strode, Nancy Thompson, and Sidney Prescott helped define and evolve the role. You can buy a cadaver bag online, no questions asked. Though, most of the buyers make sense: a rural veterinarian, a hunter, maybe a livestock farmer.   Just because you order a body bag on Amazon doesn't mean you get put on some government watch list, right?   Recently, people have been arguing for the opposite.   Especially if a buyer is flagged buying an inflatable pool, two chainsaws, and a large burn cage, in addition to a cadaver bag.   These were purchases made by David Burke, aka ‘D4vd.' The same rising pop-singer whose Tesla was discovered to contain the dismembered remains of a 14 year old child.   D4vd was just arrested, seven months after the Tesla discovery. According to California v. David Anthony Burke aka ‘D4vd,' this is exactly what authorities say happened…         Full show notes available at RottenMangoPodcast.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The evidentiary landscape across these three cases reveals patterns that your questions have been tracking with precision. From forensic trace analysis in the D4VD case to chain of custody disputes in Idaho to excluded alternative suspect evidence in Delphi, the investigative details expose alleged systemic gaps at every level. In the D4VD case, prosecutors say LAPD's Trace Analysis Unit found plastic from an inflatable pool lodged in wounds on Celeste Rivas Hernandez's remains. Amazon and Postmates records allegedly tie the purchase of that pool, along with chainsaws, a body bag, and a burn cage, to David Anthony Burke under the alias Victoria Mendez. Burke has pleaded not guilty and maintains he did not cause Celeste's death. In Idaho, the defense forensic scientist who reviewed the Ka-Bar knife sheath alleges the evidence bag was documented retroactively and that the chain of custody was legally insufficient. The FBI confirmed that a hair found near one of the victims does not belong to Bryan Kohberger. It has reportedly never been fully processed. In Delphi, Richard Allen's reply brief details what the defense says the jury was denied: the composite sketch, testimony challenging bullet-matching evidence, audio from Allen's solitary confinement, the Kegan Kline catfish connection, and evidence pointing to alternative suspects whose interviews were allegedly recorded over and whose weapons were never collected.Robin Dreeke and Tony Brueski take listener questions across all three cases, connecting the forensic, investigative, and procedural threads your messages keep pulling.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? For over a year, this case lived behind sealed doors and unnamed sources. That's over now.The People's Brief filed by Deputy DA Beth Silverman puts the prosecution's entire case on the public record for the first time — and what it alleges David Anthony Burke did to fourteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez is staggering in its detail and its darkness.Tony Brueski reads the full nine-page filing and breaks down every allegation. A child allegedly groomed from age eleven. A sexual relationship prosecutors say began at thirteen. An argument over text the night before Celeste allegedly died — where she threatened to expose everything. An Uber ride to Burke's Hollywood Hills home. Texts allegedly sent to her phone minutes after prosecutors say she was already dead. Chainsaws and a body bag ordered on Amazon. Three midnight trips to a remote highway. Forensic matches between evidence in Burke's garage and Celeste's remains. And months of an alleged cover-up while Burke went on a world tour. The defense tried to bury this filing. A new, jaw dropping court document details how prosecutors allege singer D4vd lured 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez to his home, then viciously stabbed her and watched her bleed out and die. The 8 page filing reveals text messages between the two and offers a grisly timeline of their relationship, Celeste’s murder and dismemberment. It includes evidence showing D4vd had chainsaws, a body bag and other items delivered to his house after the alleged murder. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Spring is trying to show up in St. Louis, and like everything else in this show… it's doing it with mixed signals and mild chaos. In this episode of your favorite comedy podcast, The Rizzuto Show dives headfirst into a day that somehow includes dog walks, hormone talk, and one of the most unintentionally romantic contractor stories you'll ever hear. Rafe walks us through his journey of getting FIFTEEN different bids for a retaining wall—ranging from “this seems reasonable” to “are you building a castle?”—and ultimately choosing a contractor based on vibes, explanations, and what can only be described as emotional chemistry.Meanwhile, the crew debates whether winter is finally over (we've been hurt before), breaks down March Madness brackets with absolutely zero scientific reasoning, and questions whether anyone on Earth has ever actually filled out a perfect bracket without divine intervention. Then… we get to the main event.Afroman vs. The Police.Yes, THAT Afroman. And yes, this story is real. What starts as a botched police raid with zero evidence turns into a full-blown musical revenge tour involving security footage, parody songs, lemon pound cake, and a lawsuit that somehow ends with Afroman winning in court. The crew breaks down the entire situation, including the courtroom drama, the music videos, and the absolutely wild legal arguments that led to one of the most bizarre wins in recent memory. And just when you think things couldn't get more unhinged, we play a game of “Can You Bring It on a Plane?”—where TSA rules make less and less sense the longer we go. Bocce balls? Nope. Bowling balls? Sure. Lobsters? Somehow yes. Chainsaws? Please don't try. It's everything you want in a daily comedy podcast: ridiculous stories, questionable logic, and a group of people trying their best to make sense of a world that clearly stopped making sense a while ago.If you're here for a funny podcast that mixes real-life nonsense with sarcastic humor and just enough chaos to keep you awake—congrats, you found your people.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Clark County resident Wayne Sutton was only 7 or 8 years old, he says, when his father, who worked in the logging industry, helped him buy his first chainsaw. That was 60 years ago. Today, Sutton is the founder and curator of Wayne’s Chainsaw Museum, a private museum located a few miles outside of Amboy in Clark County that is free and open to visitors by appointment.    The Columbian recently profiled Sutton and his museum which is big enough to display only about half of the 4,000 or 5,000 chainsaws he has amassed over the years and continues to collect, or have donated to him. Sutton opened the museum in 2000 when he started working for Stihl, the world’s leading maker of gas-powered chainsaws.    Sutton retired from Stihl in 2024. Although his museum boasts hundreds of models made by his former employer, it also showcases other brands and rare, decades-old examples that serve as a time capsule of the evolution of this power tool that is inextricably tied to the logging history of the Pacific Northwest. Sutton joins us to share his love of chainsaws and future plans for sharing his massive collection with more enthusiasts.

A chainsaw mounted to a sword. Seventeen pumpkins in a minute. And a philosophy that says a show only becomes real when the audience completes it. That's the ride we take with Jelly Boy the Clown—writer, record-setter, and sideshow artist who turns chaos into craft. We start with the surprise aftermath of America's Got Talent: millions of viewers, zero promotion allowed, and a door opening from an unexpected direction—Guinness World Records. From there we go inside the workshop, where ideas live first in a sketchbook, then on a bench with bolts and cork, and finally on stage. Why pumpkins beat watermelons, how to create negative space with pitchforks, and what three points of contact do for stability when the saw is humming in your throat. It's engineering, rehearsal, and risk management wrapped in clown logic. The heart of the talk is presentation. Tools are level one; meaning lives in timing, character, and framing. Jelly Boy shares how he disarms fear—pairing eye hooks with Careless Whisper, mixing menace with sincerity—so the audience leans in. We dig into act architecture: the tennis racket routine evolving through constraints, failed slapstick reappearing later as the perfect chaos engine, and why variety beats repetition for laughs and suspense. Along the way, we trace his films—from a B-movie to a raw fire-recovery doc to Dark Imagination Party—capturing how the pandemic pushed the work from stages to cameras and back again.Threaded through is our host's upcoming book, Facing The Other Way, a philosophy of showmanship that frames performance as a three-part system: performer, audience, and attention. Without a witness, magic isn't magic. That idea lands as we talk edits, cuts, and voice—how slicing fifty pages can reveal the core, why a unified tone matters, and how community and small presses help art find its people. If you care about live arts, circus, clowning, sword swallowing, or the creative process of turning rough sketches into resonant moments, this one's for you.If the conversation hits home, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review. Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover an alarming report on Chinese illegal immigrants working as truck drivers inside the U.S., Beijing's growing cyber warfare networks, Trump's possible use of the Insurrection Act, and global political upheavals from France to Japan, with a surprising touch of good news about whales. From container trucks to coups and conservation, today's brief connects threats on American soil to global movements shaping our future.   Chinese Illegal Truckers on U.S. Roads: A new investigation by the Daily Caller reveals that illegal immigrants from China are now driving trucks across America with commercial licenses obtained through a nonprofit tied to Beijing's United Front Work Department. The organization, CATOU, boasts a 100 percent pass rate for drivers who often cannot read English or road signs. Bryan warns that this, combined with China's control of port cranes and containerized missile systems, creates “an existential threat sitting in plain sight.”   China's SIM Farm Cyber Operation: Law enforcement uncovered 300,000 Chinese-controlled SIM cards in New York capable of sending 30 million texts per minute, enough to crash city networks and emergency systems. The devices were linked to China's intelligence agency, the MSS, which has used similar systems to target U.S. officials and conservative figures. “No more scalpels. Chainsaws only,” Bryan urges, calling for mass visa revocations and deportations.   Trump's Insurrection Act Warning: President Trump hinted he may invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy federal troops in cities like Portland and Chicago, where Democrat officials refuse to protect federal officers. The move recalls Lincoln's 1861 use of the law to quell rebellion. “These are acts of insurrection,” Bryan says, citing violence against ICE agents and the left's normalization of lawlessness.   Global Political Upheaval: France's fifth prime minister in two years resigned after another budget collapse, while populists swept elections in the Czech Republic and Japan shifted right under new conservative leader Sanae Takaichi. Meanwhile, Michael Bloomberg announced a $50 million campaign to “fight populism” by grooming leftist city leaders worldwide.   A Moment of Reflection and Hope: On the anniversary of Hamas's October 7 attacks, Bryan offered prayers for Israeli and Palestinian victims alike, urging peace as Trump's team nears a possible Gaza deal. In Argentina, scientists shared rare good news: the southern right whale population has rebounded to 4,700 and continues to grow. “We celebrate the whales,” Bryan concludes, “and feel bad for the humans who may go extinct if we're not careful.”   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32     Keywords: Chinese illegal immigrants truck drivers, CATOU United Front Work Department, China port cranes container missile system, Daily Caller Chinese CDL investigation, SIM Farm cyber operation MSS New York, Trump Insurrection Act 1807 Portland Chicago, ICE agent attacks sanctuary cities, France government collapse Macron, Czech Republic populist Andrej Babiš, Japan Sanae Takaichi conservative leader, Michael Bloomberg anti-populism funding, Hamas October 7 anniversary Gaza peace deal, Argentina southern right whales population recovery
