Connor and Dylan are joined by Kyle Selig (Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends, Mean Girls). Summer is upon us, and the twins are excited to welcome the dreamy and delightful Kyle Selig for his long-awaited episode of DRAMA. He brings his sunny personality and sense of humor to the pod for an amazing chat, almost like we're… old friends. Speaking of “Old Friends,” we chat about the beautiful Broadway production that Kyle is part of alongside Bernadette Peters, Lea Salonga, and friend of the pod Beth Leavel, as he sings the “Sondheim Tenor Sampler Platter.” Naturally, this trio gushes over Kyle's wife, Erika Henningsen (now starring in Just in Time), and recounts moments in their love story from Mean Girls to their wedding day. The conversation includes stories about Water for Elephants, Los Angeles living, and superstar Grey Henson. We reflect on The Goofy Movie, Welcome to Flatch, and Aaron Tveit and Gavin Creel's impact on a young Kyle. Stick around for Thunderbolts* and Miss Flo (yes gawd!), plus many doses of DRAMA. and the birth of a beautiful friendship among these millennial men. On May 11, 2024, Aaron performed his first solo concert with The Pacific Jazz Orchestra at The Soraya Stage. To say that this concert was incredible would be an understatement. The setlist was insane with so many new songs, and surprise songs were revealed on the night. But the most anticipated song of the night was Roxanne and Aaron performed that song not one but twice and opted up not once, but twice and everyone in the audience and those who saw videos of it are still trying to recover. Today's episode recaps that night! Hope you enjoy!
Two years ago on April 23, 2022, I saw Moulin Rouge and Aaron Tveit live for the first time and nothing as been the same since! The first half of today's episode reflects on some Rouge memories. The second part highlights another incredible, first time experience: my first ever Saturday night on Broadway and a front row experience with Sweeney Tveit! Still recovering from that experience, but I feel so grateful to have had it happen before the the show ends in just two weeks.

Hear about our adventures in Australia and New York over the last week. The boys share their encounters with famous people. For the NYC boys, it was Aaron Tveit, Neil Patrick Harris, and Joe Locke. For the boys down under, it was the a chance meeting of the icon, Michelle Visage at the Sydney Opera House. It was a two show week on Fleet Street. One planned and one a surprise lottery win. It was a big week on Fleet Street for guests! On Wednesday, we sat across the aisle from the legend himself, Lin Manuel Miranda! Another Broadway icon, Neil Patrick Harris attended the tale for Saturday Night on Broadway. Each time I've had the opportunity to attend the tale, I feel like I focus on a new point and come out of it with new thoughts and feelings about the events and lyrics. It's absolutely phenomenal and Aaron Tveit and Sutton Foster continuously level up their performances.
I get asked a lot what my husband thinks about Aaron and going to his shows/concerts. So this week, my husband is on the podcast talking about his thoughts and experiences with our Tony Winning National Treasure through the years.
This week, my friend Hannah is back on the podcast to share her experience of seeing Aaron Tveit in Sweeney Todd this past weekend!
