The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 1: 3:05pm- On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) will no longer be the nominee to serve as Ambassador to the United Nations. In a post to Truth Social, Trump revealed he asked Stefanik to remain in Congress—citing the Republican Party's narrow majority in the House of Representatives and the need for her critical vote to pass conservative policies. Though New York's 21st Congressional District is reliably red, reports indicate that Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) was planning to delay filling the vacancy—despite NY law mandating an election within 90 days. 3:30pm- Corey DeAngelis—Senior Fellow at the American Culture Project & Visiting Fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the Trump Administration's pledge to dismantle the Department of Education. DeAngelis explains that President Donald Trump has emphasized Title I programs and IDEA will still be federally funded and will not be touched. The programs provide funding for students in high-poverty areas as well as students with disabilities. Who could possibly be opposed to returning education to the local level—where parents have more control? President of the American Federation of Teachers Randi Weingarten, of course! DeAngelis emphasizes “her power is slipping right through her fingertips” but this is good news for students, parents, and even teachers. “She makes over half a million dollars a year fighting to trap other people's kids in her failure factories that she likes to call public schools.” DeAngelis is the author of “The Parent Revolution: Rescuing Your Kids from the Radicals Ruining Our Schools.” 3:40pm- Disney Disaster: Disney's live action remake of the classic film Snow White hit theaters on March 21st. Despite needing to earn a reported $600 million to cover production and marketing costs, the film only grossed $43 million in its opening weekend. Part of the problem, according to reports, is Disney's unwillingness to put the film's star, Rachel Zegler, on an extended promotional tour due to her past controversial comments which have included criticisms of the original Snow White story, nasty comments about castmates, and profane remarks about President Donald Trump and his supporters. According to a new report from Variety, one of the film's producers needed to fly to Zegler and plead with her to stop posting polarizing messages on social media.

We present our Snow White (2025) review! Disney's Snow White, or simply Snow White, is a 2025 American musical fantasy film directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions, it is a live-action reimagining of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which itself is based on the 1812 fairy tale "Snow White" by the Brothers Grimm. Starring Rachel Zegler in the titular role, with Andrew Burnap and Gal Gadot, it follows the pure-hearted Snow White who joins forces with seven dwarfs and a bandit named Jonathan to free her kingdom from her cruel stepmother.Plans for a remake of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were confirmed in October 2016, with Wilson announced as a screenwriter. Webb entered talks to direct the film in May 2019 and was announced as director in September 2019. Filming took place primarily in London, England, from March to July 2022, with additional filming and pick-ups taking place in June 2024. With an estimated production budget of $240–270 million, Snow White is one of the most expensive films ever made and Disney's fifteenth most expensive to date. The film elicited several controversies leading up to its release, with criticism against the color-blind casting, story changes, Zegler's public critiques of the original film, Zegler and Gadot's political views, and reimagining of the Seven Dwarfs.Snow White premiered at Alcázar of Segovia in Segovia, Spain, on March 12, 2025, and was released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on March 21, 2025. It has received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $87.3 million worldwide.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

As Disney deals with the backlash against its live-action version of "Snow White" that has been deemed "woke," there's another problem behind the scenes. There's massive tension between the movie's two co-stars, the liberal Palestinian supporter Rachel Zegler and Israeli queen Gal Gadot.Gadot - who was devastated by the Israeli attacks on Oct. 7, 2023 - is said to be furious with her co-star for publicly supporting Gaza.Last August, Zegler posted on X: "Free Palestine!" - the first of several similar posts on the outlet - and said in interviews: "I can't watch children die. I don't think that should be a hot take. We're nearing one year since the horrendous attacks in Israel on Oct. 7, but I've been following this conflict for so many years. Like so many people, I'm so heartbroken by the loss of life that we're seeing with these insane death tolls coming out of both regions." For her part, Gadot has held several screenings of the film "October 8" and footage of the October 7 massacre at her home in Los Angeles for power players and recently appeared at the Anti-Defamation League's "Never Is Now" rally, where she said: "Never did I imagine that on the streets of the United States, and different cities around the world, we would see people not condemning Hamas, but celebrating, justifying and cheering on a massacre of Jews. This is a time when many of us in the Jewish community have had to find our voice and confront the hatred against us, even if it's extremely uncomfortable. That's been the case for all of us in every walk of life, in every profession, including my own." And it's got to be really uncomfortable for Gadot to promote the movie alongside Zegler. The two have kept their distance - neither appear in each other's Instagram feeds (although they both follow each other for the moment) - and, despite the duo presenting at the Oscars together, they will keep interaction at the March 15 premiere of "Snow White" at LA's El Capitan Theater to a minimum. Even before her X posts, Zegler put herself in an awkward position after being awarded the role by criticizing the beloved original. As she told "Extra" in 2022, the animated film was "extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power and what a woman's fit for in the world. The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There's a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. So we didn't do that this time. We have a different approach to what I'm sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie."Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.

Paula Froelich is a Senior Story Producer and On-Air Contributor for NewsNation. She began in January of 2022. She's a New York Times bestselling author and an award-winning journalist with over two decades of experience in writing, reporting, and leading start ups. S he is best known in New York for being the deputy editor of the New York Post's gossip column, Page Six, where she worked for ten years until June, 2009.As Disney deals with the backlash against its live-action version of "Snow White" that has been deemed "woke," there's another problem behind the scenes. There's massive tension between the movie's two co-stars, the liberal Palestinian supporter Rachel Zegler and Israeli queen Gal Gadot. Gadot - who was devastated by the Israeli attacks on Oct. 7, 2023 - is said to be furious with her co-star for publicly supporting Gaza. Last August, Zegler posted on X: "Free Palestine!" - the first of several similar posts on the outlet - and said in interviews: "I can't watch children die. We have a different approach to what I'm sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie." Other comments Zegler has made that offended Disney fans and conservatives include: Skewering people who were upset by her casting and calling them "losers obsessed with maintaining the bloodline purity of cartoon princesses." Zegler claimed her version of "Snow White" is "really not about the love story at all," a change she deems "wonderful." Instead, it's about Snow White's "inner journey" to "find her true self." After Donald Trump's reelection, Zegler posted in part on Instagram: "May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace." She apologized for her remarks two days later. And now "Snow White," which cost Disney over $260 million to make, is set to premiere March 21st. But thanks to the controversies Zegler and the directors of the film created, the decision was made to scale back the premiere, and coverage will be limited to photographers and a house crew.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/i-am-refocused-radio--2671113/support.
The controversy swirling around Disney's live-action Snow White runs the gamut from casting backlash to political tension. Rachel Zegler's modern spin on the iconic princess ignited debates over “wokeness,” while leaked photos of diverse actors playing dwarfs gave way to CGI stand-ins, triggering questions about authenticity. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot's pro-Israel stance and Zegler's pro-Palestine comments added extra fuel to the fire, turning a simple fairytale remake into a cultural flashpoint.Disney's cautious marketing approach suggests an attempt to manage the uproar, but critics wonder if transparency and proactive engagement might have quelled the blowback. The movie itself is drawing early praise, which raises the question: does good storytelling prevail over controversy, or do larger social debates overshadow the final product?Feeling Panicked When Crisis Hits?
