My guest today is Cait Conley. Cait is running for Congress in NY District 17, determined to stop Donald Trump and cowards like Mike Lawler who enable him. Cait was born and raised in the Hudson Valley, graduated at the top of her class at West Point, served 16 years as an Army officer, and broke barriers as one of the first and only women in Special Operations leadership and was awarded three Bronze Stars. Cait's career as a public servant continued at home, protecting security and democracy while serving as Director of Counter-Terrorism on the National Security Council at the White House. She later helped safeguard our critical infrastructure and election systems at CISA, defending our democracy by standing up directly to Trump's big lie that the 2020 election was stolen. Cait is dedicated to bringing dignity and courage back to Congress. She is fighting to lower costs, clean up corruption, reign in ICE, address climate change as a national security crisis, protect our elections and stop Trumps' unlawful and authoritarian agenda. I am impressed with her strength, courage and proven leadership and have been motivated to have as many people as possible hear from Cait directly, so they can make an informed decision when voting in the primary. Early voting started June 13th and the primary is Tuesday, June 23rd. This is a critical election, so please spread the word and get out and vote! Check out the Show Notes for Cait's conversation with Ali Velshi on MSNOW as well as Cait's website. There you will find links to donate, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Just last week he read the entirety of the 98-page indictment on the air and into the historic record. This is a true moment of infamy.

Welcome to Last Call, a look at the biggest stories Jim and Greg covered over the past week on the 3 Martini Lunch. This week they discuss California's chaotic election process, MSNOW's Ali Velshi complaining that he can't celebrate America's 250th birthday because we're such a racist country, troubling new allegations against Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner, and a bizarre twist in Alaska's Senate race.First, Jim and Greg complain about California's inefficent vote counting. We are still waiting for results in the governor's race involving Xavier Becerra, Steve Hilton, and Tom Steyer, and the Los Angeles mayor's primary with Karen Bass, Spencer Pratt, and Nithya Raman. They also discuss disappointing results in other contests. Next, they react to MSNOW host Ali Velshi bemoaning how tough it is to celebrate 250 years since the Declaration of Independence because of what he considers our terribly racist history and our supposed mistreatment of women and minorities today. Then, they sift through the most recent allegations against Graham Platner from multiple former girlfriends, who describe what they call "reckless and unsettling" behavior. The accusations include aggressively grabbing women, forcing one woman's arm behind her back, and preventing her from leaving a room. But Democrats still support him. Finally, they focus on Alaska, where Sen. Dan Sullivan may have to share the ballot with another candidate named Dan Sullivan in the August primary. Is it a legitimate campaign or an attempt to create voter confusion? Greg and Jim also rip Alaska's convoluted voting system. Please visit our great sponsors:QuoMoney is on the line. A report from the non-profit watchdog group Public Citizen points out that while Donald Trump insists that donations are paying for his vanity project ballroom, those donors are being granted federal contracts totaling more than $50 billion. Ruth Ben Ghiat, author of "Strongmen: Mussolini to the Present,” and Timothy L. O'Brien, senior executive editor of Bloomberg Opinion, discuss Donald Trump's corruption and how his behavior is typical of authoritarians, from trying to put his name and face on everything to going to war against the free press. The discovery of the screwworm parasite in cattle in Texas has raised alarm about the struggling U.S. cattle industry and the already high price of beef for American consumers. Ali Velshi explains the careful government precautions necessary to protect American livestock from the damaging screwworm, and how Donald Trump threw those precautions out the window. Rebecca Cooke, Democratic candidate for Congress from Wisconsin, talks with Ali Velshi about the hardships farmers have endured as a result of Donald Trump's policies and why his words on a visit with Wisconsin farmers rang hollow to anyone actually experiencing the fallout from Trump's tariffs, high fuel prices, cuts to local services and more. I spotlight how the Democrats are attempting to run distraction plays in the Texas Senate race, as James Talarico is busy explaining controversial past remarks, defending old posts, and navigating questions about his relationship with a former employee. With America's 250th anniversary around the corner, liberals like Margaret Brennan and Ali Velshi are having a meltdown. I highlight the latest examples of anti-American rhetoric, canceled performances, and attacks on patriotic celebrations. The Karmelo Anthony trial is now under way, and Greg Foreman of “Black Conservative Perspective” joins me to discuss why the case has become a flashpoint for debates over race, media narratives, and whether the facts are being overshadowed by politics. ► Catch up on my H-1B visa investigations: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkJEwf2wliqrtNlYs9D78nmE_Gnja_PpC ► Email me at saratips@blazemedia.com if you have uncovered potential fraud in your area. ► Subscribe to my second YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SaraGonzalesTX?sub_confirmation=1 ► PreBorn To donate, visit http://www.Preborn.com/SARA. MS NOW anchor Ali Velshi says he’s conflicted about celebrating the 250th birthday of America – announcing on cable television that he feels a deep unease about celebrating the land of the free and the home of the brave. Here’s what you may not know about Mr. Velshi. He was born in Kenya and raised in Canada. In 2015 he swore an oath to become a naturalized citizen of the United States. We welcomed Mr. Velshi into our nation and by all measures he is living the American dream. There are reports that he could be worth quite a bit of money. You really think that would’ve happened if Mr. Velshi had remained in Kenya or even in Canada? Highly unlikely. And that’s why – as much as Ali Velshi hates our nation – he will never leave. He’s living the good life.So while Americans toast our Founding Fathers and enjoy burgers and fireworks on this Fourth of July, might I recommend that aggrieved immigrants like Ali Velshi just shut up and show a little gratitude or better yet - book a one-way ticket back to Kenya.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this special episode, recorded at the Neukom Center's Rule of Law Speaker Series, Judge J. Michael Luttig, former Fourth Circuit judge and ex-General Counsel of Boeing, discusses a looming constitutional crises facing the United States. Drawing on Lincoln, Paine, and Churchill, Judge Luttig argues that the Trump administration's actions represent not the exploitation of constitutional vulnerabilities, but unconstitutional conduct that federal courts have repeatedly struck down. He expresses particular alarm over the Supreme Court's use of the shadow docket to stay lower court decisions without briefing, argument, or written reasoning — a practice he characterizes as a crisis within the Court itself. Judge Luttig also addresses the DOJ's institutional corruption, Congress's abdication of war powers and tariff authority, and the Supreme Court's sweeping immunity ruling in Trump v. United States. Throughout, he challenges law students to treat their professional oath as a solemn civic obligation in a moment of national testing. Links: Honorable J. Ali Velshi offers insights from the election data.
