Editor Rita K. Sanders and assistant editor Erin Wolf have been working together for 5 years on such shows as The Magicians (SyFy), You (Netflix), The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix), and Batwoman (CW). During their time together they have developed a strong relationship and an efficient way of working. Erin has also received several co-editing credits while working with Rita and is now looking to transition to being a full-time editor. In this episode they give advice on how you can build a better relationship with your editor and how you can go about getting a co-editing credit in scripted television. Rita K. Sanders began her career by editing television news in Austin, TX on tape-to-tape machines and has since cut feature films, documentaries, scripted and non-scripted television shows.Most recently, Rita edited on several season of SyFy's "The Magicians", Netflix's "You" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," and CW's "Batwoman"- which has been a dream come true for a nerd who loves fantasy, sci-fi and feminist agendas in media.Don't ask her about her philosophy of editing- she is still figuring it out.Erin grew up in Franklin, Wisconsin and knew she loved filmmaking from a young age. While studying film production at the University of Southern California, she developed a passion for editing. TV Ratings a Different Look Ever since we could remember Neilson has been the main way for networks to get their read on what America is watching. You would think by now with all the new technology that is available to us we would have a better method to rate what we watch. Enter the website TV Series Finale. The site was started in 2005 and was devoted to the last episodes of TV shows, It quickly morphed into a site that tracked if a show was renewed or canceled. We are back with lots to cover!! First, Dhani saw Zombieland Double Tap!  She was so excited to see this sequel and was not disappointed.  The next movie Dhani discusses is El Camino : A Breaking Bad Movie (Netflix).  This was exactly what she didn't know she needed and thanks Vince Gilligan for making it.   The next movie Dhani watched was In The Tall Grass (Netflix).  This is based on a Stephen King novella, but the movie did not live up to what she wanted.  Another movie failed to live up to her expectations is Fractured (Netflix).   Moving on to TV Dhani wanted to talk about some more new shows that have started.  First, she talks about Almost Family (FOX).  She loves the cast and it started out well, but she is waiting to see if they can keep it interesting.  Next, Dhani discusses Batwoman (CW).  Again, she likes the storyline, but is waiting for Ruby Rose to get used to her role on the show.  The next show Dhani talks about is Nancy Drew (CW).  This is one of her favorite new shows this year and is recommending it to everyone!  Even though Arrow (CW) isn't a new show, because it is Dhani's favorite and it is ending (sad), she wanted to talk about the show's premiere and how wonderful it was.   The next new show Dhani wanted to talk about is Limetown (Facebook Watch).  She loves this show!  So much mystery and Jessica Biel is fantastic.   And finally, Dhani talks about The Politician (Netflix).  She is struggling to finish the series and isn't sure of the point of it.  But she does think she will finish eventually.   In the Actors' Corner, John and Dhani discuss Cameron Diaz and her movies they love, like, hate, secretly love and haven't seen.
