Today we're we're gonna tackle a bunch of questions you never knew you needed answering, questions like: Why does the middle finger mean “fuck you”? Why do we blow out candles at birthday parties? Why do we cover our mouths when we yawn? And where does the whole making "bunny ears" with your fingers behind someone's head when they're getting their photo taken come from? The answers to these questions are often so strange, and so ancient. For Merch and everything else Bad Magic related, head to: https://www.badmagicproductions.com

Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher talk to Dan Amrich and Katrin Auch on their recent experience going on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience in Orlando, Florida. We touch on the amazing integration from its original music score to a novel quest-based system with several cast members constantly in character and the delightful food onboard. Also noted is the oft misleading marketing and press surrounding this special deluxe Star Wars fan experience; it's far more than a "Star Wars Hotel". On a related note, Mat complains about Star Trek Cruise VI not having a Star Trek themed escape room onboard the ship and the inconsistent theming (great elevators, no themed food). Cyclops is Waiting for Me - An X-Men: The Animated Series Weekly Recap
Originally an episode that wasn't even supposed to exist but thankfully does because it gave us the chance to crossover with Shawn DePasquale of the Oh Mr. Sheffield podcast and Bunny Ears fame. Omega Red is brought back under the supervision of the American government to help decomission a sunken Soviet submarine off the coast of Hawaii. He won't do it without the help of his old foe Wolverine and the woman who froze him in ice, Storm. Hilarity ensues. Cyclops is Waiting for Me is our weekly podcast series where we are going back and watching EVERY-SINGLE-EPISODE of the original 1992 X-Men: The Animated Series in their original intended script order building up to the release of X-Men 97', coming to Disney Plus. "Cyclops is Waiting for Me" Theme written and performed by Ron Wasserman (ASCAP) and Rod Kim (ASCAP) All our links: https://linktr.ee/cyclopsiwfmpod
Putting two fingers up behind the head of someone during a photograph is commonly known as “Bunny Ears.” And it's meant to prank someone who doesn't know it's going on behind their head. But originally back in the Victorian Era (late 1800s, early 1900s), that hand signal meant something entirely different, and was absolutely NOT called “bunny ears.” The finger gesture was meant to signify something embarrassing about someone's personal life, and over time the symbolism was forgotten but the embarrassment stayed. What did it used to mean if someone put bunny ears behind your head back then?

Macaulay Culkin is that name that always rolls around this time of the year…doesn't matter that's really been over 25 years that he's seriously acted in a major motion picture. Macaulay took his hiatus from acting in 1994 and didn't return until 2003 with a guest appearance in the TV show, Will and Grace and then after in the film Party Monster. In 2013, he co-founded a comedy rock band called The Pizza Underground where he was the lead singer - they even toured but three years later, the band split up in 2016. Now he is the CEO and self-publisher of a satirical pop culture humor-based website and podcast called Bunny Ears that he funds himself. As for his net worth, whew, that information was not easy to find. If you Google it, it brings you to his website Bunny Ears, which he started in late 2017. It pretty much makes fun of the internet and confuses readers if you don't know what you're in for. Like me, for example. I googled “Macaulay Culkin's net worth” for this video and was pleasantly surprised when an entire article popped up but I was quickly confused when I started reading it… the article is about a butterfly net and it's, not surprisingly, one of the top results on the entire site. I guess a lot of people want to know!

Child Stars! Y'know, those scrappy actors that start doing stuff from a young age and have prolonged popularity before inevitably fading into obscurity before suddenly coming back and doing interesting things. Take this trio today: Macauley Culkin, who now runs a satire site called Bunny Ears, and the Olsen Twins, who are now established (?) fashion designers; And indeed, most of their back catalogue of acting work can be looked back on as "Regrettable". So with that regret in mind, lets look back at two of their most forgettable appearances. First we have Culkin's "Wish Kid", wherein he plays a kid who owns a baseball glove that was struck by a shooting star and gained the ability to grant time-limited wishes. And secondly, we have Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action! which has the twins play a pair of really quite pathetic secret agent types with a snarky constantly quipping robot dog with a pseudo-scottish accent. You get the idea they were trying too hard with that second one a bit?
