Mason Cole told the media yesterday that the Steelers “get afraid” to run the football if one play goes wrong – a clear shot at the offensive coordinator. The guys dissected a few decisions made by Mike Tomlin that looked like virtually waving a white flag. Does it make you feel any better that Adam Schefter seems to think a huge change will be made? Chris said there is an obvious, significant gap between CJ Stroud and Kenny Pickett. Former Steeler Steven Nelson said he knew the deep ball to Calvin Austin was coming and it wasn't too hard to figure out when he picked off Kenny Pickett. It seems that every single week there is at least one opposing player, if not more, that describes a tell in the Steelers offense. A caller had a good movie reference to the Steelers season. How serious is the Kenny Pickett knee injury? The guys gave their thoughts on the play it happened. What happens if the Steelers have to go with Mitch Trubisky for a few weeks? Poni thinks only the elite QBs in the game could play in this offense. Chris said Matt Canada is actually a little bit better than he seems because Pickett has played so poorly. Donny and Chris are all but out on Pickett being the answer.

Make room to connect with each other.Date your spouse - can be big and extravagant, or simply just spending intentional time together. A time where no one else is involved and try to get out of the home. Be willing to invest (financially and timewise) in this area of your relationship and break out of the normal routine with each other. Create opportunities for adventure - to laugh and have fun together. Laughing and flirting together is so powerful. Side by side connection while your walking is important - not just sitting across face to face to have deep conversations. You will learn your spouse better and have a deeper connection through those conversations. You cannot be self seeking.You need to embrace this mindset in every area of life and it will roll over into the bedroom. Look at your lens of how can you serve your spouse and your kids; how can you serve Christ? It is what we are called to do; we are called to model a servant attitude. This mindset will also roll over into the bedroom. It will be fulfilling for both of you in a deep, intimate way. What is narcissism?We can all be a little narcissistic in our behavior: being selfish and wanting our own way. But a narcissist takes it to the extreme: excessive interest and admiration of themselves, very selfish, physical appearance is important, sense of entitlement, lack of empathy, a strong need for affirmation and to be admired by people. It becomes a lifestyle. It's damaging because it's all about them and no one else. What is the tie between addiction and narcissism?Narcissists are focused on their own satisfaction. Their sexual desire is a “personal right”. They'll use manipulation and can exploit their spouse. There's a study that came out that said that people who use pornography have a higher level of narcissism than those who never used it because it is very selfish - it's all about the person and them getting their own satisfaction. It feeds the narcissist. Pornography is a very selfish view of sex and a narcissist has more potential to become deeply entrenched in their belief system as their needs are being met in this unhealthy way. How do we know if we are married to a narcissist?Marriage is about teamwork and a narcissist will focus on themselves and not care about their spouse. They will often put down or discredit their spouse and lead others to think that there is something wrong with them. They might use their spouse as a scapegoat. There's no guilt or shame about what they are doing; there's a lack of empathy. Any relationship you value needs to have empathy, you need to care about each other and be able to put yourself in their shoes. The struggle is that most narcissists think that there is nothing wrong, so why would they look to change? In order to overcome being a narcissist, you need to look inside. It's a heart issue. If you are married to someone like this, you need to make sure that you are surrounded by community who support you and will stand up for you. Remember: your worth and identity come from what God says about you, not your spouse. Tomlin spoke Tuesday about how having Joe Haden, Cam Heyward and Ben Roethlisberger helps, but with so many younger players experience a tight NFL race for the first time, it could be a great learning experience to build character and future reliable veterans and leaders for the roster.
