“This is unlike any sporting event I've ever been to.” Ryan Clark The Savannah Bananas are best described as a wildly entertaining, baseball-meets-circus experience that blends sports with showmanship. They've reinvented the traditional baseball game by creating “Banana Ball,” a faster, fan-first version of the sport with unique rules, dancing players, and nonstop crowd engagement. More than just the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball—it's competition at the highest , part athleticism, part theater, and 100% fun. The Savannah Bananas aren't just a baseball team — they're a movement. In this episode, we sit down with Jesse Cole, the visionary in the yellow tux, and his wife and business counterpart, Emily,  who welcome  Ryan, Channing, and Fred to their baseball mecca as they break down how the Savannah Bananas took the most traditional sport in America and turned it into a high-energy, sold-out, must-see experience. From dancing players to a fan-first philosophy, Jesse shares how breaking the rules, betting on fun, and building a unique culture created a global sensation. This episode is about more than baseball — it's about leadership, trailblazing, and having the guts to pivot when the world says play it safe. Games are packed with choreographed dances, stilt-walking players, and spontaneous celebrations. Although this blend of baseball and performance art has drawn comparisons to the Harlem Globetrotters- Ryan, Fred and Channing learn quickly the competition is fierce and far from scripted.  Under owner Jesse Cole's leadership, the team prioritizes fan experience above all. This includes all-inclusive low ticket pricing, ad-free ballparks, and interactive elements that have re-ignited a love for America's past time and how this team turned from a struggling minor league squad into a global entertainment sensation. It's not just baseball — it's Banana Ball.. And for the players, Baseball will never be the same and that's ok because the athletes embrace Banana Ball as an opportunity to shine, be attached to a sport they love while inspiring millions around the world with fun, entertainment and pure joy. Stars Kyle "KJ" Jackson, Malachi Mitchel and Bret Helton share with the guys their backstory boasting high-skill levels, being a part of viral moments and creating a bucket-list attraction that has led to selling out NFL and MLB stadiums across the country! The Savannah Bananas have become a viral sensation by transforming baseball into an electrifying entertainment experience that appeals to fans of all ages. Beyond baseball- We learn the Cole's motivation and passion in their personal and family life run parallel to their gratitude in general, as they give us a look into their family dynamic and opening up not just their hearts but their homes to fostering kids, adopting their two little girls and using the banana's platform for positivity around fostering and adoption. Buying into Banana ball is only through blood, sweat and tears as we uncover how these talented athletes choose to join the Banana family, and how it's not about wins and losses- it's how you are seen on and off the field and what drives them each day to give fans an unprecedented experience.  Truly an inspirational story of second chances for athletes and making big leaps for entrepreneurs who aren't afraid to take chances, follow a dream and turn their passion into purpose. Tap into this conversation and social for our full conversation and see Ryan, Channing and Fred get immersed into Banana culture and become fans for life. This Tuesday, don't miss a special highlight episode as we gear up for an unforgettable conversation dropping this Thursday.E.Z., Mark, and Oscar discuss various approaches to sharing the gospel. They highlight Ray Comfort's creative methods and his intentionality in evangelism. For introverts hesitant to share the gospel, the key is being authentic to who God made them to be. Psalm 139 emphasizes that each person is intentionally designed by God, and every personality type is equipped to evangelize. Believers should explore their unique ways of fulfilling the call to share the gospel, remembering the same Holy Spirit that empowered the disciples resides in them.Declaration evangelism involves intentionally proclaiming the gospel through open-air preaching, one-on-one conversations, or passing out tracts. Bringing someone along for accountability can help, as intentionality is vital. God delights even in small efforts. Begin by incorporating evangelism into everyday activities, such as handing out tracts before a movie. Family is an excellent evangelism team; children can watch and learn as parents hand out tracts. Initiating small steps can build confidence and consistency. For those interested in open-air preaching, starting small is key. One-on-one conversations are another great method, starting with questions about life and purpose. Creativity is essential: go door-to-door, give out tracts, or visit places where people are open to discussions. Confrontational evangelism focuses on engaging others with the intent of confronting, often involving apologetics. This approach might include visiting specific groups, like Mormons or Muslims, to witness. Preparation is crucial—knowing why you believe what you believe and being ready to answer common questions. Admitting when you don't know something is okay, as humility resonates. Online evangelism is another significant avenue. Social media offers a vast mission field, but it's vital to remember there's a person behind every screen. Oscar suggests transitioning online connections into real-life conversations, such as inviting someone for coffee. Lastly, relational evangelism focuses on building relationships with coworkers, friends, and neighbors. Acts of service, like sharing baked goods or helping neighbors, can open doors to share the gospel. Living out the gospel authentically in daily life allows others to see its transformative power. Holidays provide natural opportunities to evangelize, whether by hosting gatherings or sharing the gospel during celebrations. The key is taking intentional steps to share the gospel in ways that align with one's personality and circumstanSend us a textThanks for listening! In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom Podcast, Stewart Alsop talks with guest Saila about Argentina's fascinating socio-economic dynamics, its chaotic history, and potential future under the current government. Topics range from Argentina's unique financial practices—like the "blue dollar" system and the impact of inflation on everyday life—to global geopolitical shifts, the role of bureaucracy, and the rise of multipolarity. They also explore the opportunities and challenges for crypto and fintech in Argentina, drawing connections to innovation spurred by economic adversity. This system reflects a deeply ingrained culture of financial adaptation and innovation, where residents navigate inflation and economic instability with remarkable dexterity. The resilience and pragmatism of Argentines in the face of such challenges have made their everyday understanding of economics highly nuanced and practical. The Global Perception of Argentina Under Javier Milei: Under the leadership of Javier Milei, Argentina is at a critical juncture, attempting to shift from decades of economic chaos to potential stabilization. Despite initial skepticism, Milei's administration has managed to maintain a credible fiscal policy, such as adhering to a zero primary deficit. This success challenges both local and global expectations, showcasing how Argentina's political narrative can surprise even seasoned economists. The Global Shift from Unipolarity to Multipolarity: The conversation reflects on the decline of the unipolar world order dominated by the United States and the rise of a more fragmented multipolar reality. With China as a prominent actor but inexperienced in global leadership, the dynamics of international power are evolving. The U.S. faces a choice between deliberate withdrawal from global dominance or grappling with a loss of influence—a process that holds implications for countries like Argentina operating on the periphery. The Power of Illegibility in Systems and Markets: Saila introduces the concept of "illegibility," where the real value in systems often lies in aspects that are not immediately visible or measurable. This is particularly true in environments like Argentina, where formal systems often fail, and informal networks and practices flourish. The same holds in global markets and innovation hubs, where the most significant opportunities often emerge from navigating the unspoken or unseen rules. The Role of Crypto in Argentina's Financial Landscape: Argentina has become a critical testbed for cryptocurrency applications due to its economic instability and limited access to traditional credit markets. Stablecoins, in particular, have found real-world use cases as tools for saving and transacting in a volatile economy. This positions Argentina as an unlikely but important center for crypto innovation, driven by necessity rather than speculation.Innovation Through Constraint: Economic adversity in Argentina has sparked remarkable creativity and ingenuity among its population. From unique financial practices like partial cash housing transactions to unconventional uses of stablecoins, the constraints of the system have fostered innovation. This serves as a case study in how challenging environments can generate solutions with broader applicability, even in more stable economies.Bureaucracy as an Autonomous Agent: The conversation draws parallels between bureaucratic systems in Argentina and those in developed nations like the U.S., highlighting how they often evolve into semi-autonomous entities prioritizing their survival. Argentina's overgrown bureaucracy has contributed to inefficiency and economic decline, yet similar patterns of self-preservation and stagnation are visible in Western governments and institutions as well.

These listener scenarios that may seem a bit crazy on the surface … but in reality offer a great chance to maximize the quality AND the value of your wedding celebration! As you're putting together plans for your wedding, there are endless creative opportunities for you to deploy a unique, offbeat solution to what may seem like a standard wedding checklist item. So many couples subconsciously equate a higher price tag with a higher-quality end product or service, and that's simply not always true.  Worse, that mentality can add up to spending tens of thousands of dollars more than necessary to host a memorable and meaningful wedding celebration.  The $10,000 dollar question is how can we develop an instinct for when it makes sense to invest more money for a higher quality experience, and when taking a less expensive route will be just fine? That's what we're going to highlight today with a few listener scenarios that may seem a little crazy on the surface … but in reality offer a great chance to maximize the quality AND the value of the end-result.   Tune in for inspiration from other Wedding Planning Podcast listeners who had a kinda-crazy sounding idea ... and hear what worked, and what didn't!   PS - A special THANK YOU to this week's show sponsors, who made this free weekly episode possible: Enjoy early access to ad-free episodes each week when you subscribe to WEDDING PLANNING PODCAST PREMIUM in Apple Podcasts.   Get professional help planning your dream honeymoon when you email susan@susanstravelservices.com .
