Today on the Logan Blackman Show, in a race against time, we recap this past weekends game between Iowa and Iowa State which saw the Cyclones come away with a 20-19 victory. With that we go over the ins and outs of the game, how Iowa and Iowa State looked in both halves as well as go over how things can change for Iowa moving forward. We then take some time to look around the college football landscape, starting off by discussing Colorado's loss to Nebraska, though mostly focusing on Shedeur Sanders' post game comments. With that, we discuss how Sanders' comments could affect his draft stock as well as compare him to the other current top five quarterbacks in the class. Moving to the NFL, we recap every game though talk mostly about the Buffalo Bills week one win against the Arizona Cardinals. Finally, we go over some early MVP thoughts as well as discuss some teams unfortunate quarterback situations. Enjoy!

Seth and Sean discuss some early MVP love that CJ Stroud is getting from Steve Wyche of the NFL Network, assess what needs to happen for this to come to fruition, and discuss how weird everything is in Cleveland with Deshaun Watson now.

Dive into the heart of the 2024 NFL playoffs with NFL legends Ronde and Tiki Barber! This special NFL Conference Championship Round edition, presented by SuperBook Sports, features expert insights, picks, and predictions to guide your bets for this weekend.Ronde and Tiki Barber get you set for two matchups to decide who plays in the Super Bowl in this week's episode of the Ronde and Tiki Podcast presented by SuperBook Sports. Just four teams remain in the quest for a championship, so get your conference championship weekend picks right here with the Ronde and Tiki Barber podcast presented by SuperBook Sports. We start off with a review of the divisional round, followed by:- Early Super Bowl picks (10:00) - Early MVP picks (15:00) - Chiefs/Ravens preview (17:30) - Lions/49ers preview (30:00)
On today's show, we're zooming in on the NFL as we hit Week 18 and there's still a whole lot to be decided. The 1 seeds are set in both conferences, but everything else will be sorted this weekend, with 2 games on Saturday and a busy slate on Sunday. The marquee matchup is for the AFC East, as the Dolphins and Bills play for the division, but the AFC South is still up for grabs between the Jags, Colts and Texans and there are 3 available Playoff spots for 5 teams with the Steelers, Colts and Texans all needing help to get in. In the NFC, the East is still up for grabs with the Cowboys in control over the Eagles and the Bucs needing a win to edge out the Falcons and Saints, and we have 2 spots for 6 teams with most of them needing help. It gets convoluted for sure, but that's just more drama for Sunday. Meanwhile, in the NBA, we're already more than a third of the way through the season, so we welcome the casual fans who don't start paying attention until after Christmas into the fold, but that also means the trade deadline is about a month away, and the Knicks and Raptors got us started on what I predict to be a busy month in the talent exchange market, with OG Anunoby headed to NY. Then, we take a look around the MVP race so far, and give our takes on the three players who should be legitimately considered. I love SGA but Gaber shoots down his case, Tatum isn't even close when Giannis is probably being overlooked, and AD is all but forgotten, so with Joel Embiid playing even better than he did when he won the award last year and Jokic still the best player in the world, who is our third candidate? The Christmas Day extravaganza is in the books, and as always, this is when things start to heat up. So sit back, the NBA season is hitting its stride, the NFL season is down to the final week and we're breaking down how it's all unfolding, next on the Roundup Podcast so let's get rolling . . .
In this NBA Opinions of the Week, Kevin and Austin take a quick look at the developing MVP race. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

They then move on to discuss the news about Zion Williamson's contract not being fully guaranteed anymore and what it means for the Pelicans (22:37). Also, the guys discuss Tim Bontemps's first NBA MVP straw poll of the season (32:26). Got a question for Verno and KOC? Send them an email at nbamailbag@gmail.com! Shohei Ohtani continues to leave us speechless but the Los Angeles Angels have started to fade begging the question as to whether they'll be sellers at the trade deadline. If Ohtani leaves what's his most likely landing spot? And despite risk of injury or trade, did Bovada actually settle Ohtani early as the AL MVP winner? And as Wimbledon draws towards its conclusion Pat and Seth look at the tournament gameplay so far and the potential awkwardness for the All England Club if a Russian or Belarussian ultimately wins the major.
The first All-Star Game voting results are back and they indicate not only who will be in the mid-summer classic, but also who is leading the way in terms of AL & NL MVPs.
