Hannah Eden is on a mission to help people find strength, resilience, happiness, and most importantly, their reason. Hannah began as a CrossFit athlete in 2013 and later founded PumpFit Club, a boutique gym in Fort Lauderdale with her husband Paulo in 2015. Hannah's trademark blend of heart, enthusiasm, and embracing the hard parts quickly garnered her a worldwide following and work with major brands including Reebok, iFit, Men's Health, NordicTrack, and Lululemon. She further expanded her reach in 2017 when she established the HEF Training App, an online subscription program, as well as her signature apparel line FYR. Her growth and success can be attributed not only to her physical talents, but even more to her ability to connect with people on every level. Fitness has and always will be a cornerstone, but as Hannah has evolved, so has her vision. To that end, she founded her mentorship group, The Power Collective. The Power Collective is centered on the following three pillars: Mind: Do hard things to build mental resilience and a strong mindset. Body: Use physical movement to metabolize and release energy. Spirit: Live a fulfilled life, one full of happiness. Find Your Reason...your reason to wake up everyday, your purpose in this life. To our point previously, when you know you're going in a bad direction, do you keep going down that way or do you try and make that pivot, and go, “Shxt, I've got to do something positive here.” And be an example, I guess, to the rest of the world, and try and use something negative and turn it into something positive,” says Hannah Eden. Why do you exercise? What causes you to push yourself when you're already tired? How do you get motivated to achieve a challenging fitness goal? There are two primary types of motivation: intrinsic - working on a task for our own needs or interests and extrinsic - taking on a task to please or to meet the expectations of others; both types can be useful for giving you the ability to accomplish a daunting fitness goal. On AAF110 Hannah Eden, a popular fitness influencer on Instagram and a founder of the Pump Fit Club fitness studio in South Florida, shared how the loss of a close friend motivated her to join the fight to F*** cancer. When we spoke, Hannah was in the process of training for the Ring Road Race around Iceland to raise money in the memory of her friend, Jessica Boswell.
