Hey Love,   Just checking in, how has it been going so far this year in terms of working towards your goals? Did you start the year strong, only to “fall off” and give up already feeling like a failure? Or are you still kicking along and chipping away towards those goals you set just over a month ago? Now is the time to really be honest with yourself if you haven't been able to show up the way you initially hoped.  It is never too late to start working towards your goals, but it is also never too early.  It can feel defeating when we know we haven't been able to stick to the plan we set out for ourselves.  But that doesn't mean we can't do it.  It means we need to reevaluate.     Inside this week's episode I encourage you to reevaluate your goals, your plan, your mindset and your actions.  The worst thing we can do is set out a plan that isn't sustainable or goals that we don't value or maybe your goals and your plan are find and actually it is your mind or your actions that are sabotaging your progress.  Either way, inside this episode were going to get real and honest with ourselves and either stay on track or get back on track! Remember you have a whole group of motivated and inspiring women in your corner ready to cheer you on and hold you accountable! Inside my Restore Program my founding members have access to a weekly group coaching call so that we can all show up and ask questions, get personalized feedback on exercises or lessons and mostly HOLD EACH OTHER ACCOUNTABLE! They also have access to a private community inside my Pelvic Floor, Core & More App where they can post wins, exercise check ins and ask more questions outside of the group coaching calls.  This ensures that you are not falling off even if you had a rough week and you get the grace you need to not feel guilt or shame when you do have an off week.  As women and moms especially, it can be so challenging to show up for ourselves to exercise or workout.  So we need to build a community to support and empower each other!    RESTORE is my first 8 wk online signature program hosted inside my new platform that will be an APP soon Pelvic Floor, Core & More! Inside that program I walk you through the basics of healing, restoring your breathing, posture, core function and overall strength and return to impact and intensity.  All with the guidance of me, a Pelvic Floor PT, in your pocket making sure that you are getting individualized support and feedback through the program during our weekly group coaching calls! This option is great for those that can't afford a one-on-one session for $200-$240, those that don't have access to a pelvic floor PT in person or those that want to have a structured organized program with support as they are phasing out of acute therapy treatments and working more independently.

In the powerlifting world, injuries are an unfortunate reality. Whether it's a tweak in training leading into a competition or something more significant happening during the powerlifting meet itself, injuries will happen. However, it's how we reduce our risk for them and manage them so they don't get worse leading into or during the competition.   Prepping for a Powerlifting Meet? Download our FREE Powerlifting Meet Day Bundle HERE!   In this episode of the Progressive Rehab & Strength Podcast, we dive into the complex dynamics of injuries in powerlifting competitions, from preventing them to managing them when they inevitably occur.   We'll break down why injuries seem to crop up as lifters approach competition time, addressing key factors like:   Overtraining Mental stress Physical demands of peaking for performance  How to decide whether to push through an injury or pull back  When is it wise to adjust your attempt selection to avoid making things worse   We'll also discuss the financial and future opportunity costs of competing through injury—how much should you weigh your investment in the competition against your long-term lifting goals? When is it best to step back and preserve your health for the future?   Injuries during a competition present a whole new set of challenges. What's the best course of action if you get hurt mid-meet? Can you adjust your attempt selection in real time to avoid further damage? Should you skip an attempt, put in a number versus a 0, or pull out completely? These are the tough decisions that many lifters face.   Plus, we'll talk about the sometimes frustrating process of adjusting your first attempt—how to make changes when you're warming up and things don't feel right, and why your opener matters more than you might think. Do you change the number at weigh-ins? And what happens when you tweak something warming up right before your first lift?   If you've ever dealt with the stress of managing an injury before or during a powerlifting competition, or you're wondering how to avoid major setbacks in your competition journey, this episode of the Progressive Rehab & Strength Podcast is for you. Hey Mama, welcome to the one income family podcast where we talk all things budging on one income.    Today we are going to jump into what can feel like a losing battle, and that is getting a grip on your spending. Now don't take this to believe that the reason you are off budget is because of your spending and that it's a bad thing to have spending money.    On the contrary, I want you to enjoy your life and having a little spending money is not going to hurt you or your budget. In fact it gives you the freedom to spend that money without worrying if you're going to dip into other more important funds.   But if you're not careful that little bit of freedom can start burning a hole in your pocket and you find yourself giving into the desire even when you've spent all of your budgeted amount for free spending. That is what we are going to talk about today. How to curb that urge so that you're spending money isn't the thing keeping you from reaching your goals.    So go grab your favorite drink and head outside as we head into today's episode.    Xo  Molly    P.S. Mike Coy reveals the key habits and mindset shifts that have helped him succeed in multiple fields, even in the face of serious health challenges. In today's episode, I chatted with Mike Coy, a coach and mentor in sports and insurance. Mike's journey is about consistency, trust, and resilience. He highlighted the importance of sticking to a plan and trusting the process, whether coaching young athletes or mentoring new agents at Aflac. We also delved into his battle with HPV-related cancer, where a healthy lifestyle and regular health checks were crucial to his recovery. As we enter the new year, my first guest of 2024 will help you reach your nutrition and weight loss goals. Dr. Hannah Brandt, founder and lead coach at HLB Lifestyle, has learned from her own personal weight loss experience what works and what doesn't work and is now helping clients through the highs and lows of optimizing their health. About the Guest:Dr. Hannah Brandt, PT, DPT, CPT, IFNCP, is the founder and lead coach at HLB Lifestyle, a virtual nutrition and fitness coaching company that aims to redefine the accepted norms of diet culture and weight loss. Having faced her weight issues while following 'all the rules,' Hannah realized that women don't need another product, program, or supplement. Instead, they need what helped Hannah lose and maintain a weight loss of over sixty pounds: a personalized nutrition and fitness plan and a coach who can support them in discovering their own motivation, offer accountability, and guide them through the highs and lows. HLB Lifestyle is shifting the concepts associated with weight management from fad diets, severe restrictions, and quick fixes to sustainability, optimal health, and a relentless pursuit of joy. https://hlblifestyle.com/https://www.instagram.com/drhannah.healthcoachhttps://www.facebook.com/HannahBrandtOnlineTrainerhttps://hlblifestyle.com/blog/https://hlblifestyle.kartra.com/page/winthewarhttps://www.youtube.com/@drhannah.healthcoach/https://www.linkedin.com/in/drhannahbrandt/About the Host: Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full-time job as a Productivity Coach. As a busy mom of three and the founder of Chaos N' Cookies, keeping moms from crumbling is my main objective. After gaining 10+ years of experience as a Director of Marketing helping build multiple 6 & 7-figure businesses for other women I've created the Chaos Control System to equip moms to overcome their own objections so they can live the life they want to live and start that business they have always wanted. The Family Playbook, or standard operating procedure, is the tool every mama needs to save time and stress-less when chaos ensues at home. For new biz owners, I also help simplify systems on social media and other business platforms to automate processes to get their business up and running quickly and efficiently with how-tos and hands-on coaching. I have helped hundreds of women to be more productive and self-sufficient in their homes and businesses allowing them to reclaim control of the chaos. www.chaosncookies.comhttps://www.instagram.com/chaosncookies/https://www.instagram.com/theheathergreco/https://www.facebook.com/Chaos-n-Cookies-111324364538688https://chaosncookies.com/shophttps://linktr.ee/hsteinker Thanks for listening! Thanks so much for listening to our podcast!
