We have an amazing special guest Sarah Fraser from Hey Frase Podcast. She does a great job not only putting up with the guys but joining in the antics. We hear all about Kevins issues with showering before sex, why Sarah got fired from the Nationals, and what it means when you have a pineapple in front of your house. Name that show is back and as always our fill in the blank answers are hilarious including what word in a movie title would you replace with the word fuck. You aren’t going to want to miss this episode which includes a surprising amount of talk about sex. As it's not become a yearly tradition, the men have taken over the I Don't Get It podcast. This time, Jared Haibon, Arie Luyendyk, Tanner Tolbert, and Ben Higgins meet up on Zoom to discuss quarantining with their significant others, their kids, and in-laws. The guys vent about their wives' habits and rituals. They talk about the gross things they do in front of each other how it affects their sex life. Plus! The dudes talk about the things they know they can do to better their relationships but still haven't taken the effort to do.
Have you ever eaten insects or bugs before? Do you want to? We try a company called Crunchy Critters who provided us worms mixed in with other ingredients, live on the podcast. It wasn’t as bad as you think but it was an awesome experience. The crew also dives into some deep conversations about pain tolerance, if we could handle a pregnancy and some terrible insults girls have told them. We also have a real hard time deciding the winner of this weeks matchup; Froot Loops vs Frosted Flakes. And we get our first Chase Rant of the year! We'll start this week's Sherpa Sheet with a behind the scenes story. The interview with Kealy was conducted on a video app. Kealy was concerned about how she'd look on video sans makeup. I just use audio so, no worries. Trust me, she looked better without makeup than I did WITH makeup. And I was in a prom gown, With swim fins . When I was dating, Tinder referred to firewood and not a hookup app (Yet, with either one, I'd worry about who was holding the axe.), so it was interesting to hear her perspectives on dating in the modern age. Kealy talks about a great first date and how she successfully avoided working for a moving company of potential serial killers.. She aces "Which Is Better/Which is Worse?" a game that I made up that I will likely lose the pieces to. She teaches me how a guy should ask her out (Hint: Begging and pleading does not make the cut.) Plus! MeToo dating! How men screw up dates( We do!)! Weird Al breakup therapy! Why Kealy is openly discusses her sex life! (Be thankful that your Sherpa did not) A stoop grows in Brooklyn! And the story of how the lovely Sherpa bride came in the picture, even though Panera Bread thinks the Sherpa is a cheapskate! Kealy, like the guests I've had on so far, was a real pleasure to speak with. She's clearly comfortable in her own skin, and was very down-to-earth Check out her podcast, but wear headphones! I'm sure at some point in her future, she will meet a great guy who will treat her the way women deserve to be treated. Someone that nice deserves that happiness. She stresses that men should listen...and if you're listening to her podcast, you're on the right path. So, what else this week? It's a continuation of the Allison Sharpe Admiration Society! Thank you soooo much for the kind words about Too Many Podcasts! Hopefully, it will grow my listenership, or I'll have to revisit that begging and pleading again. Also, more Sherpa Suggestions for dating and sex podcasts. Follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Don't forget...you can email your podcast suggestions, or mention your podcast to jimthepodcastsherpa@gmail.com or leave me a voicemail on the Anchor app. Either one could end up on a future show, so come on and get famous! Movie spoilers ahead! This week we have a drink with Bill and delve into the world of film. The occult and religion have a big role in cinema, so we narrowed our discussion to two movies that explore Santeria to... differing effects: "I Walked with a Zombie" (1943), and "Angel Heart" (1987). Join us for a drink as we chat about the actual craft of film making, the history of the medium, and give some background insight to what makes a movie spooky. We also touch on the important subject of racism and xenophobia in movies that use other cultures for shock value, the importance of doing your research, and such taboo subjects as Mickey Rourke's ass. Check out Bill's work in I Don't Get It and American Caesar. And be sure to reach out to him on Twitter! Movies referenced in this show include "The Haunted Castle" (1896), and E. Elias Merhige's "The Begotten" (1990). Make sure that you check out the other podcasts on the Podcast Jukebox Network which we are proud to be a part of! Naz Perez is a former cast producer from ABC's The Bachelor and Bachelorette. But after listening to countless contestants talk about their own love and heart break, Naz realized it had been years since she had experienced love herself. She left the job she loved – talking about love – in search of her own happy ending. She quickly learned that she really had a knack for listening to people talk about love – even off TV – so she founded Heart Broken Anonymous, a safe space for people to share their stories of heartbreak. The group meets monthly in Los Angeles. Naz is also co-host on the "I Don't Get It" podcast with Ashley and Lauren Iconetti, an entertainment media host and to top it all off... the kinda chick you wanna be best friends with. In this week's episode we talk about... heartbreak, dating as a modern working women, and of course... a little bit about Ashley & Jared
It seems like we've discussed everything a millennial girl may have to deal with in her everyday life, but we have never spoken about finances on the I Don't Get It podcast. In this episode, we talk with Cait Flanders, the author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller The Year of Less. She explains how she was able to get out of the $30,000 of credit card debt she accumulated by the age of 25 in less than two years. Her budgeting tips will have you rethinking how you spend and save money and which accounts you follow on social media.
By now we all know the iconic Jonathan Van Ness from the reboot of Queer Eye on Netflix. Season two of Queer Eye came out just a few days ago and he's with the I Don't Get It girls to discuss the new season as well as hair tips, dating advice and some sneaky sex tricks. This episode will for sure brighten your day.

Let's start at the very beginning. What is this podcast all about? What is this story all about? Listen. Learn. Enjoy. This podcast is for people who are interested in Out-of-the-Box Judaism -- whether Jewish or not. What does out of the box mean? Out-of-the-Box can mean… thinking outside the box. Many people have an impression or idea of what it means to be Jewish or what you have to do to be Jewish or what you have to believe to be Jewish. Out-of-the-Box can mean thinking outside the box of preconceived notions and creating the Jewish experience that is right for you. Out-of-the-Box can mean… being outside of the synagogue. Many people feel that joining or going to a synagogue doesn’t fulfill their desire for a deeper connection. Out-of-the-Box can mean finding and creating meaningful spiritual experiences on your own, with your family, or with a community that is not based in a synagogue. Out-of-the-Box can mean… unpacking your heritage. If you or someone in your family is Jewish, you have a box of hand-me-downs and treasures waiting to be unpacked. Out-of-the-Box can mean examining those contents, understanding them, and choosing which ones you want to keep, and which ones you don’t. The two stories from #astoryeveryweek associated with this week's Torah portion are I Don't Get It and Bashers! What's Your Legacy? Are you planning a bar or bat mitzvah or know someone who is? Download the bestselling book The Out-of-the-Box Bat Mitzvah: A Guide to Creating a Meaningful Milestone for free. The music on this episode comes from the song Adon Olam by Rabbi Cantor Robbi Sherwin, from the album: Aish Hakodesh, available where all awesome Jewish music is sold: OySongs.com For more information or to get in touch, visit me at www.OutoftheBoxJudaism.com or connect on Facebook.

All of those times I changed my career path, they really gnawed at my question of identity. What was I supposed to be? What am I supposed to give out to the world? And it also answered the question that the path for a career, even for yourself was never in a straight line. We’re lucky if that happens. Andrew Paul faced the same questions of identity. But Andrew is quick to say that his story is not singular, and it is actually helped along with the many fantastic powerful women in his life. We also ask what kind of man am I if I’m not doing my passion? Who shapes our passions? And who questions them? You can find more about the Well-Endowed Podcast and the Edmonton Community Foundation here. The podcast I Don't Get It is back too! Desmond Cole is our Man of The Hour, and you can find out the store of Beverley Braham here.

Things get cranky--yet hilarious--in this potentially award-winning episode of Six Pack. The guys discuss what to do when you see a motionless bum, pay their respects to the great character actor Anne Ramsey, offer props to an underrated swordswoman, introduce a new topic category called I Don't Get It as they lament all the stupid projects on Kickstarter, discuss a screenplay idea involving an infamous movie character, recall a time when Steve puked up a bunch of Cadbury eggs, and debate the value of food trucks. Oh and they solve world hunger.
Access Hollywood producer Oscar Gracey went to interview Harry Styles at the recent press junket for the movie Dunkirk. As a self proclaimed "stan" (stalker fan), Oscar went into to full on panic mode. Listen to him regale the I Don't Get It girls with this ultimate fangirl tale.
Meet Andrew Paul, who uses his journalistic chops to tell stories about philanthropy and good works in Edmonton as part of the team that produces The Well-Endowed Podcast. Andrew came up through alt-weeklies and magazines after he graduated from the journalism program at MacEwan. He shifted into doing public relations for arts and non-profit organizations with his now-wife, Fawnda Mithrush, and ended up at the Edmonton Community Foundation, which encourages philanthropy and funds charitable activities. The podcast is an extension of the foundation's efforts to tell the stories of its donors and the work it supports or is aligned with. Andrew co-hosts it with Elizabeth Bonkink, and Lisa Pruden produces it. As you'll hear, Edmonton is a trailblazer among community foundations by reaching out in this way. The foundation is looking for freelance contributors to the podcast. If you have experience and interest in producing audio stories, contact Lisa at lpruden@ecfoundation.org. Also in this episode: the story behind Well-Endowed's snappy theme song; what Andrew learned from Paul Matwychuk of Trash, Art, and the Movies; where a journalism degree can take you; lessons learned from producing I Don't Get It, a podcast about contemporary dance; and Andrew's advice for a not-for-profit contemplating starting a podcast. This episode is also available in iTunes, on Google Play, on SoundCloud or on Stitcher. Andrew made the following recommendations: Omar Mouallem's four-episode run as guest host on Canadaland: Travel Journalism's Dirty Little Secret; Jason Kenney Is A Charming Man: Inside Alberta's Weird Conservatism; Why Your Rap Lyrics Could Land You In Prison; It Was Illegal To Print Their Names: Alberta's Lost Children. Modern Manhood by German Villegas; The Broadcast by Trisha Estabrooks and Alex Zabjek. You can subscribe to The Well-Endowed Podcast on Apple Podcasts and Google Play. You can find the Edmonton Community Foundation on Facebook and on Twitter (@theecf). The next Edmonton Podcasting Meetup takes place on June 17 at 1 p.m. at Variant Edition Comics & Culture. We'll be talking to Michael Short of Let's Go Outdoors about how to make a living in new media. Register here to attend. The I Don't Get It girls will never get what it's like to be pregnant until it actually happens to them. It seems so far in the future, especially for Ashley I & Naz. They discuss what pregnancy does to the body and soul with Bachelor favorite, first-time mom, and currently 6-months pregnant, Jade Tolbert. Later in the episode, Ashley and Lauren's cousin, Kristina, joins the podcast to describe the terror of giving birth and the beauty of having a family.
As every Bachelor fan knows, Ashley Iaconetti is a virgin, but she still has sexy stories. In this episode of the I Don't Get It podcast, she reveals just how experienced she is. And even though Ashley hasn't gone all the way, she finds first time sex stories fascinating so Lauren & Naz indulge Ashley's curiosity and reveal their secrets. Bachelor alums Sarah Vendal and Danielle Lombard join in the conversation and share their cherry-popping memories as well.
Our April meetup gave us a chance to talk about the power of cross-promotion by engaging in some cross-promotion — I love me some meta. We had a chance to talk Fawnda Mithrush, who is managing director of NorthwestFest, Edmonton's international festival of nonfiction film, art and music. Fawnda is the brain behind LunchPods, a series of live podcast shows on at The Needle Vinyl Tavern throughout this week in conjunction with the film festival. Fawnda also hosted I Don't Get It, an award-winning podcast about contemporary dance, which she's hoping to resurrect one of these days. But she's an awfully busy person — besides helping Guy Lavallee put on NorthwestFest, she is also the executive director of LitFest, the nonfiction literary festival that comes to Edmonton this fall. In the episode, you'll hear all about LunchPods, as well as the "wicked fun" of doing a podcast about dance; why we need to find ways for creative people to get paid; how podcasts fit in with NorthwestFest and might fit into LitFest in the fall; why nonfiction appeals to her and to Edmonton; and the collaborative spirit of our city. This episode is also available in iTunes, on Google Play, on SoundCloud or on Stitcher. The LunchPods will be recorded, so if you miss one, you can catch up, but of course it's more fun to hear in person (plus there's lunch provided): May 8: Passion Pods: Where Art and Sport Collide: Taylor Chadwick of What It Is interviewed Erika Ensign of Beginner’s Puck and Steven Schapansky of Hockey Feels about arts and sports; May 9: Dime a Dozen: Podcasting About Film: Paul Matwychuk and Erin E. Fraser of Trash, Art, and the Movies will talk to Matt Bowes of Bollywood is for Lovers and JP Fournier of The Movie Jerks about movie podcasts; May 10: Short Story Long: How Podcasts Pick Up Where News Outlets Drop Off: Alex Zabjek and Trisha Estabrooks of The Broadcast will discuss podcasting as a vehicle for journalism; May 11: Sound and Fury: The Key to Outstanding Sound and Content: Adam Rozenhart of The Expats will explore the importance of great sound and structure with Sam Power of All Intensive Purposes and Lauren Albrecht of Nerd Nite Edmonton. May 12: Together We're Stronger: YEG's Podcast Community: I’ll be talking to Trina Shessel of the Northern Nerdcast and Ben Yendall of Tales from the Hydian Way about cultivating an Edmonton podcasting community. Many thanks to NorthwestFest, Flatter:Me Belts and Variant Edition for donating door prizes, and to CafeRista for catering. (Extra shout-out to Variant Edition for hosting us despite having a flood in their store mere hours before the event. Heroes!) I said at the end of this episode that there might not be a meetup in May, but I've changed my mind, because I have big news to share: We're creating the Alberta Podcast Network, powered by ATB! Read the back story, and then join us at the Edmonton Podcasting Meetup on May 28 at Variant Edition to discuss the network, where I'll answer as many of your questions as I can. This episode of Seen and Heard in Edmonton is brought to you by Castria, where award-winning podcasters help you take your podcast from idea to reality.
