And we're back ladies and gentlemen with another episode of TheGreyArea Podcast. This week ACEXXI & BlvkM0nd4y are joined in-studio by Kreesha Turner, Yawny Blew, & Sapps as we explore a multitude of topics. Now, y'all know normally I like to populate this area with what we talked about and timestamps and all that. But honestly, I've been editing this episode for a week and a half, it's 2:45 in the morning, I barely remember what we talked about, and I'm not about to listen to this nearly 2-hour pod at this hour of the night (but you should). I think we talked Arthur's departure from television, pirating music, DONDA 2, racist tattoos, and how men are making AI girlfriends just to abuse them...smh.Yup...it gets light, then dark, then light again this episode. I'll try to edit episodes faster. Until then...WELCOME BACK TO THEGREYAREA PODCAST!!!!We lost our IG...long story. Kreesha Turner is a multi-talented, multi-culturally, versatile artists. She is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and performer. Her brand reflects a multi-cultural sensibility; that is reflective of a changing world. She is of Jamaican and Canadian heritage, studied Jazz vocals, dance and fell deeply in love with her Jamaican culture at an early age. As a result, her music is a hybrid of Pop, R&B, Hip-Hip, Reggae and World Music. Unlike many pop-artists, Kreesha Turner's music seamlessly encapsulates a street energy blended with up-tempo, high energy, and rebellious rhythms. The dichotomy of her sound is supported by her unique look and approach. Kreesha's brand represents the first gens, the people that live between two worlds, attempting to connect and identify with both. Her art doesn't fit neatly into categories or formats; it brazenly lives between them.
On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show, we are joined by Platinum Canadian/Jamaican recording artist and songwriter, Kreesha Turner! Kreesha Turner was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Raised in both Canada and Jamaica, she began her musical career after a successful audition with Virgin Records. She signed a record deal with the Capitol Music Group, under which the Virgin imprint operates. Concurrently, EMI Music Canada signed her to more effectively tap into the Canadian market. She has released two albums in Canada. Her first album Passion (2008) spawned singles "Bounce With Me," "Lady Killer" and "Don't Call Me Baby". The latter became the No. 1 most played song (by a Canadian) on Canadian radio in 2008 and became her very first number one single on Billboard's U.S. Hot Dance Club Play. During this year, she was nominated for two Juno Awards for "Best New Artist" and "Best Pop Album of The Year." Her second double disc studio album, Tropic Electric (2011) saw Turner alter her public image and return to her original sound. She released three moderately successful singles "Rock Paper Scissors," "I Could Stay,"[1] and "Love Again."[2] which gained her another Juno Award Nomination for "Best R&B Album."Throughout Turner's career, she has been well known for her style and image. She's been ranked on Complex magazine list of "25 Sexiest International Singers You've Never Heard Of" and Much Music's "Sexiest Girls list" in 2008. She has been featured on multiple major Canadian magazine covers and starred in a national Kit Kat campaign. Her music has been featured on major network television shows such as, "Entourage", "Desperate Housewives", "Ugly Betty", "Gossip Girl", "The Hills", "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", "Smash", "Lipstick Jungle" and "Brothers & Sisters".*******Roger the Wild Child Show is streamed live every Wednesday and Sunday nights at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. This week on Lip Service we have Canadian and Jamaican recording artist Kreesha Turner! The ladies, as usual, don't hold back and get her to discuss the ongoing rumor that Jamaican men don't go down on women. She explains why her culture considers it "bowing down". They also talk about the extremes of cheating and if faced with the issue which one would be worse: finding out your partner pays for sex or has emotional connections and other relationships. Angela Yee, Stephanie Santiago, and Gigi Maguire talk threesomes- is it healthy or hurtful in a relationship, which person should choose the third party, and whether it should be done with a stranger, acquaintance or a friend.... they even get Kreesha to share her experience when she had a threesome and let's just say it didn't end well! Make sure you check out "King of the Dancehall" starring Kreesha Turner set to release January 13th.

Kreesha Turner is a Canadian Juno Award nominated platinum selling recording artist singer-songwriter and model. Kreesha has spent the last year working hard in the studio on a new, organic sound for her next musical project. The first released track “Gimme' Dat” was produced by Young Yonny known for his work with Lil Wayne (Mo Fire) and Trey Songz (Say Ahh). The new project is titled “Evolution Inevitable” and that is exactly how Kreesha approached her new music – without boundaries and she continues to grow as an artist.
