See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Territorio Rojo.

Y todo era to-do. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Territorio Rojo.

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) is one of the most powerful and violent drug trafficking organizations in Mexico. Formed in 2010, it originated as an offshoot of the Milenio Cartel and quickly rose to prominence due to its ruthlessness and strategic expansion tactics. Led by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as "El Mencho," CJNG has gained notoriety for its involvement in drug trafficking, extortion, kidnapping, and other criminal activities.CJNG has a sophisticated operational structure, with a hierarchical leadership that oversees various aspects of its illicit activities, including drug production, transportation, and distribution. The cartel primarily traffics cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl, with routes extending from South America through Mexico and into the United States. In America, CJNG has established a significant presence, particularly in regions with high drug demand and distribution networks. The cartel's operations in the United States include drug trafficking, money laundering, and violence to maintain control over its territories and enforce its dominance in the drug trade. To facilitate its operations in the U.S., CJNG relies on a complex network of distributors, smugglers, and associates who help transport drugs across the border and distribute them to various markets. The cartel also engages in alliances and conflicts with other criminal organizations, including rival cartels and street gangs, to protect its interests and expand its influence.CJNG's presence in America has led to concerns among law enforcement agencies and policymakers due to its involvement in drug-related violence, corruption, and the proliferation of deadly drugs like fentanyl. Efforts to combat the cartel's activities involve collaboration between U.S. and Mexican authorities, including intelligence sharing, law enforcement operations, and targeting the cartel's financial infrastructure.Despite these efforts, CJNG continues to pose a significant threat to both Mexico and the United States, demonstrating its resilience and adaptability in the face of law enforcement pressure. The cartel's ability to generate enormous profits from the drug trade enables it to sustain its operations and evade capture, making it a formidable adversary in the ongoing fight against organized crime. In this episode, we take a look at how the CJNG has infiltrated the Puget sound region. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The war between the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) is one of the most intense and brutal conflicts in Mexico's criminal history. It began in the early 2010s when CJNG, under the leadership of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as "El Mencho," rapidly expanded its power and influence, challenging the long-standing dominance of the Sinaloa Cartel. The Sinaloa Cartel, traditionally the most powerful and influential drug trafficking organization in Mexico, was led by Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán and Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada. The cartel had established a vast network of smuggling routes and alliances, controlling much of the drug trade in Mexico and beyond. However, following the arrest and extradition of El Chapo in 2017, the cartel faced internal strife and a leadership vacuum, which CJNG sought to exploit.CJNG, known for its extreme brutality and willingness to confront both rival cartels and the Mexican state, aggressively expanded into territories traditionally controlled by the Sinaloa Cartel. Key battlegrounds included the states of Jalisco, Michoacán, Colima, and Baja California, where CJNG sought to seize control of lucrative drug smuggling routes and ports. The conflict has led to tens of thousands of deaths, with entire communities caught in the crossfire. Both cartels have employed brutal tactics, including mass killings, public beheadings, and attacks on law enforcement. The violence has had a devastating impact on Mexican society, with widespread fear, corruption, and economic disruption.Despite significant losses on both sides, including the deaths and arrests of key leaders, the war between CJNG and the Sinaloa Cartel continues. The Mexican government's efforts to quell the violence have largely been unsuccessful, and the conflict shows no signs of abating. The war has not only reshaped Mexico's criminal landscape but also had far-reaching implications for global drug trafficking and security.(commercial at 11:18)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

The CJNG, led by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as "El Mencho," has been known for its brutal and innovative methods of exerting control and influence. The cartel's shift to using drones equipped with explosives represents a strategic evolution aimed at maintaining and expanding their dominance in the drug trade and other illicit activities. The use of drones by the CJNG was first reported a few years ago, primarily for surveillance purposes. However, recent reports indicate a more sophisticated approach, where drones are now being fitted with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and used in offensive operations. These drone attacks have been employed in various regions, targeting rival cartel members, military convoys, police stations, and other strategic locations.Specific IncidentsMichoacán and Guanajuato: These states have seen significant drone activity by the CJNG. In Michoacán, drones have been used to drop bombs on local police and rival cartel strongholds, causing casualties and significant damage.Jalisco: The cartel's home state has also experienced drone attacks, including assaults on government buildings and security forces.Guerrero: In this state, drones have been used to target community police forces, who often oppose cartel activities. The use of drone-delivered bombs has posed new challenges for Mexican security forces. Traditional counterinsurgency tactics are less effective against these airborne threats. The Mexican government has had to adapt, investing in anti-drone technology and training to counter this new form of warfare. Despite these efforts, the adaptability and innovation of the CJNG continue to complicate law enforcement and military responses. The CJNG's use of drones demonstrates their ability to acquire and utilize advanced technology. These drones are often commercially available models modified to carry and drop explosive payloads. The modifications require a certain level of technical expertise, indicating the cartel's capability to recruit or train individuals with the necessary skills. The use of drone-delivered bombs by the CJNG also has international implications. It sets a precedent for other criminal organizations globally, potentially leading to an arms race in cartel warfare technology. Moreover, the origins of the drones and explosive materials often point to international smuggling routes, implicating global networks in the supply chain. In response to the growing threat, the Mexican government has been increasing its focus on technological countermeasures. This includes deploying anti-drone systems, enhancing surveillance capabilities, and cooperating with international partners to curb the flow of technology and materials to the cartels.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Drug cartels using bomb-dropping drones have killed Mexican army soldiers: report | Fox News

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación or CJNG) is one of the most powerful and violent drug trafficking organizations operating in Mexico. It emerged in the early 2010s as a splinter group of the Milenio Cartel, another criminal organization based in Jalisco, Mexico. The roots of the CJNG can be traced back to the mid-2000s when the Milenio Cartel was headed by Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel Villarreal. After Coronel's death in a shootout with Mexican security forces in 2010, a power struggle erupted within the cartel. Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as "El Mencho," emerged as a prominent figure within the organization.Under El Mencho's leadership, the CJNG rapidly expanded its influence and territory, becoming one of the most dominant cartels in Mexico. They have been involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion, and other criminal activities. The CJNG's primary operations involve the trafficking of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl into the United States. The CJNG has gained notoriety for its brutality and willingness to engage in violence to achieve its objectives. They have been responsible for numerous acts of violence, including assassinations, mass killings, and the use of explosives. The cartel has also targeted Mexican security forces, engaging in confrontations with police and military personnel.Despite efforts by Mexican and international law enforcement to dismantle the CJNG, the cartel has proven to be resilient and adaptable. They have a highly decentralized structure, with cells operating across Mexico and even extending into other countries. This makes it difficult for authorities to target the organization as a whole. The CJNG's influence extends beyond its criminal activities, as it also seeks to exert control over local communities through intimidation and coercion. They have been known to infiltrate local governments and law enforcement agencies, further complicating efforts to combat their operations. In recent years, the CJNG has increasingly clashed with rival cartels, particularly the Sinaloa Cartel, leading to widespread violence in parts of Mexico. The cartel's ability to maintain its dominance in the face of such challenges underscores its strength and resilience. It has been during this war that the use of Drones by both sides has accelerated.    The repurposing of commercial drones for military applications has become increasingly prevalent in the modern era, presenting both opportunities and challenges for military forces around the world. Here are some ways in which commercial drones have been adapted for military use:Surveillance and Reconnaissance: Commercial drones equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors are being used for intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. These drones can provide real-time imagery of enemy positions, movements, and terrain, allowing military forces to make informed decisions.Target Acquisition: Drones equipped with advanced sensors, such as infrared or electro-optical cameras, can identify and track potential targets on the battlefield. This information can be relayed to military command centers for further analysis and action.Communication Relays: Commercial drones can be outfitted with communication equipment to serve as mobile relays, extending the range and effectiveness of military communications networks. This is particularly useful in remote or rugged environments where traditional communication infrastructure is lacking.Cargo Delivery: Drones are being used to deliver essential supplies, ammunition, and medical equipment to troops in the field. This can help reduce the logistical burden on military convoys and reduce the risk to personnel from ground-based transportation.Electronic Warfare: Commercial drones can be modified to carry electronic warfare payloads, such as signal jammers or signal intelligence (SIGINT) equipment, to disrupt enemy communications and radar systems.Combat Operations: In some cases, commercial drones have been weaponized and used for offensive purposes on the battlefield. These drones may carry small arms, explosives, or other munitions to engage enemy targets.Mine Detection and Clearance: Drones equipped with specialized sensors can be used for mine detection and clearance operations, helping to reduce the risk to military personnel and civilians in conflict-affected areas. In our second article:The Kinahan Cartel is an organized crime group based in Dublin, Ireland, known for its involvement in drug trafficking, arms smuggling, money laundering, and other illicit activities. El Mencho assumed leadership of the organization after the capture of its previous leader, Ignacio Coronel Villarreal, by Mexican authorities in 2010.Expansion and Operations: The CJNG has expanded rapidly, establishing itself as a dominant force in the Mexican drug trade. It primarily operates in the western state of Jalisco but has expanded its influence throughout Mexico and internationally, including the United States, Europe, and South America. The cartel is involved in the trafficking of various illicit drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.Violence and Tactics: The CJNG is notorious for its extreme violence and brutality. The cartel has been responsible for numerous homicides, mass killings, and acts of intimidation against rival cartels, law enforcement officials, and civilians. Its tactics include beheadings, dismemberments, and public displays of violence intended to instill fear and assert control over territory.Alliances and Conflicts: The CJNG has formed strategic alliances with other criminal organizations, including factions of the Sinaloa Cartel and the Beltrán Leyva Organization, to expand its influence and strengthen its operations. However, it has also engaged in violent conflicts with rival cartels, such as the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, and the Michoacán-based Knights Templar Cartel.Rumors of Cannibalism: There have been persistent rumors and unverified reports suggesting that the CJNG engages in cannibalism as part of its intimidation tactics and rituals. These rumors often stem from gruesome videos and images circulated on social media, purportedly showing cartel members consuming human flesh. However, due to the secretive nature of cartel activities and the lack of credible evidence, it is challenging to confirm the veracity of these claims. The Mexican Drug Cartels are notorious for their inhumane behavior and treatment of their rivals but none more so than the CJNG who have taken to making their initiates engage in cannibalism. The group has been responsible for numerous high-profile acts of violence, including mass killings, ambushes on law enforcement, and the use of explosives. The cartel has expanded its operations internationally, with a significant presence in the United States and other countries. It has developed sophisticated smuggling networks and has been able to transport large quantities of drugs, primarily methamphetamine and fentanyl, across the U.S.-Mexico border. The CJNG has also engaged in territorial disputes with other cartels, leading to intense violence and instability in several regions of Mexico. It has clashed with the Sinaloa Cartel, Los Zetas, and other criminal organizations, resulting in a wave of violence that has claimed thousands of lives.Despite facing significant law enforcement pressure, the CJNG continues to operate and expand its influence. It has shown resilience in adapting its tactics and maintaining a strong presence in various regions of Mexico. Its ability to corrupt officials, including police and politicians, has contributed to its longevity and ability to evade capture. The CJNG poses a significant challenge to Mexican authorities and represents a major threat to public security in the country. Efforts to dismantle the cartel have proven difficult, and its influence remains a source of concern for both Mexican and international law enforcement agencies. In this episode, we are going to look at the CJNG's possible involvement in the missing call center worker siutation and how the CJNG utlizes other streams of revenue, such as time share schemes to help supplement their war chest.
