Lo que es innegable es la comodidad con la que operaron distintas redes criminales en nuestro país bajo las narices de los encargados de proteger a la ciudadanía. El mejor ejemplo es el choteo alrededor de la persecución de César el abusador cuando las autoridades sabían exactamente donde se encontraba. He dicho varias veces que la fuerza de tarea que perseguía al abusador lo ubicó en varias ocasiones pero nunca recibió la confirmación que debía llegar directamente del procurador general de la República para que fuera apresado. Probablemente fue lo mismo que pasó con notables capos como David Figueroa Agosto. Ayer cuando se conoció la sentencia de los implicados en red del abusador los recursos que manejaban y el lujo en el que vivían una tiene que preguntarse cómo es que ese fenómeno no llamó la atención de los organismos de intervención del estado. Otra pregunta necesaria es cuánto de la violencia y de la delincuencia común de las zonas marginales está asociada a la actividad de esos capos que fueron protegidos desde las más altas instancias del poder. Amenazar a una procuradora general no es jícara de coco, quien se haya atrevido tiene que saber a qué se enfrenta y cuánto poder entiende tener para hacerlo. La pregunta es si ese poder todavía existe.
