MSNBC is facing a ratings struggle — but, no amount of rehab can save the struggling cable network in the face of the success of new media. As Comcast cutS ties for good via its newest 'Spinco' proposition, new questions about whether the business (with its anchors inflated salaries and egos) will survive in its current form. Already, many of Rachel Maddow’s producers were let go. Her protege Joy Reid was sent packing…and, as the business faces new financial hits, there’s no way MSNBC can recover its $25 million reported salary on Maddow. Meanwhile, judges are flagrantly flaunting the law! Two are now being arrested. What is going on?!? With Terry's BVB taking on Nik's Werder Bremen this past weekend, it's fitting that those two take the reins for the week. The fellas discuss where Dortmund stand in their interim coach phase, what lessons we can draw from the latest wrangle over TV money, and how some Bundesliga refs will adjust to being mic'd up going forward. (And because Matt wasn't around to put a stop to it, a bit of snooker talk too.)

The last couple of days are a prime example of that.
The Tennessee Titans fell to 4-8 on Sunday when they lost 31-28 in overtime to the Indianapolis Colts. The game included several special teams blunders, injuries to some of Tennessee's most important players, and an uncommon sideline interaction between a couple of players. All in all, it was an unusual affair that resulted in an all-too-common outcome for the Titans. ... The fallout of this latest loss began when special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman was fired on Monday. Aukerman had directed the Titans' special teams since the start of the 2018 season but paid the price for a disastrous performance. Mike Vrabel said he was the one who fired Aukerman. Still, there is ample evidence to suggest the order to do so came from much higher up. ... Third-year linebacker Monty Rice, a third-round pick in 2021, was released on Tuesday and subsequently claimed by the New Orleans Saints. His departure marks the latest failure of recent early selections. ... The Titans signed rookie punter Ty Zentner to replace Ryan Stonehouse, who sustained a season-ending injury as part of the special teams debacle against the Colts. ... Veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins did not hide his disappointment when rookie quarterback Will Levis threw a pass out of bounds and well out of Hopkins' reach. The two then had an animated sideline discussion that showed the interesting dynamic that exists between the two. ... Cornerback Kristian Fulton sustained a familiar injury late in the loss to the Colts, and his status for Monday's game at Miami is in doubt. Even though Fulton has not always played his best this season, the timing of his latest ailment could not be worse given the challenges the Dolphins' offense presents. To make matters worse, Jeffery Simmons will be out with an injury of his own, which will hinder the ability of the pass rush to help out the secondary.
Stamford Chidge is joined by Dan Silver and Mark Meehan to look back at Chelsea's 3:2 win over Brighton. In Part one we discuss another mad game where Chelsea cruised to a 2:0 lead before easing off and getting punished and Gallagher being sent off. But instead of capitulating, Chelsea defended well in the second half, extended their lead before giving us all a nervy 10 minutes as Brighton got a second goal. Entertaining, yes, but watching Chelsea at the moment can age you!In part two we discuss an important win where the team showed character, playing for 60 minutes with 10 men. We also discuss where Chelsea are in terms of competing at the moment and is it time to move on from the years of dominance under Roman Abramovich? Hosted on Acast. Antitrust cases are often complex and technical, which invites suspicion that such cases should be decided by specialists rather than generalist judges. Would a judge who is truly an antitrust expert think the same? Another X Games, another year that everyone jumps up and down about the judging! In 2023, Japan FMX Best Trick, there were 7 riders who were gunning for the Gold Medal and this time it was Jacko Strong who took home his 7th Gold Medal in Best Trick discipline, equalling Travis Pastrana's 7 in Freestyle and Ronnie Renner's 7 in Step-Up! Of course, there's always controversy around judging and this time it played out with the two big dogs of Best Trick - Jacko Strong and Rob Adelberg who have enough Gold Medals to sink a ship! They both threw down Front Flip No Handers, and you could very easily argue Adelberg had this one wrapped up. But Jacko won with the 'UnTucked' Frontie. I personally couldn't care less - both riders were freaking awesome and all 7 riders were on their game! But let me know what you think. This is my personal thoughts as I watched it all play out. 1. Jackson Strong 96.33 2. Rob Adelberg 96.00 3. Harry Bink 95.00 4. Josh Sheehan 92.66 5. Taka Higashino 89.00 6. Adam Jones 86.00 7. She's back! But this time with a twist! So about a year ago, one of my favorite episodes I've produced came upon the air waves, that's because my lady love graced me with her presence to be a guest on the show. This time though, she's back as a guest host! You read that correctly, I handed the reins off to her this time to lead the show. What I didn't expect, the tough questions she asked! But knowing how philosophical she is with just about everything, I shouldn't have been surprised lol! We talked about how our relationship has evolved over the past year, the lessons we've learned and the bad habits we loved each other through and eventually got rid of. Typically, I'm a bit reserved about my views & opinions with my personal relationship, but given the circumstances I suppose it's ok to step out of our comfort zones here and there!
