Ever wondered what Heaven is really like? In Revelation 4, the Apostle John is invited to step through the door of Heaven and catch a jaw-dropping glimpse of God's Throne Room. Get ready for sensory overload as John describes the sights, sounds, and glory of God's presence!First, did you know there are THREE Heavens described in Scripture? 1️⃣ The First Heaven – is Earth's sky and atmosphere. 2️⃣ The Second Heaven – is outer space. The sun, moon, and stars. 3️⃣ The Third Heaven – is God's home. This is the dwelling place of the Almighty, where John is taken in Revelation 4!So, what is the Glory of Heaven like? John's description is other-wordly! Heaven is dazzling beyond description. Here's an overview of all John sees and hears:
In Revelation Chapter 4, everything shifts. After addressing the churches on Earth, Jesus invites the Apostle John to "Come up here!"—giving him (and us) a glimpse into Heaven's throne room and a preview of future events. This moment marks a pivotal point in Bible prophecy, and many believe it represents the Rapture, which is the moment Jesus returns to rescue His followers and take them to Heaven. But when will the Rapture happen? And where will Christians be during the seven years of intense suffering known as the Tribulation? Well, there are three major views of the Rapture's timing:
Laodicea had it all—wealth, status, and success—but they were spiritually bankrupt. Jesus called them lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—complacent, self-sufficient, and blind to their need for God. They believed in a false gospel of prosperity that values health and wealth above all else. And Laodicea thought their riches made them secure. But Jesus wasn't impressed. He told them: You think you're rich, but you're poor. You think you see, but you're blind. You think you're clothed in luxury, but you're naked in my eyes. This is lukewarm Christianity exposed!
Have you ever had a door slammed in your face? The church in Philadelphia knew that feeling all too well. They were small in number, persecuted, and rejected—kicked out of synagogues for their faith in Jesus. But in Revelation 3:7-13, Jesus gives them incredible encouragement: “I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”Philadelphia was a faithful church. Even though they had little strength, they refused to deny Jesus' name. They didn't compromise with culture or waver in their faith. Jesus had no rebuke for them—only praise! And because of their faithfulness, He opened two powerful doors:1️⃣ The Door of Salvation: The invitation for all people—Jews, Gentiles, sinners, and outcasts—to enter into God's kingdom through faith in Christ. No one can shut this door!2️⃣ The Door of Service: An opportunity to share the Gospel and serve others in Jesus' name.Sometimes, God shuts doors in our lives—relationships, jobs, or opportunities—but it's always for our good. When one door closes, He opens another for His greater purpose! As Christians, we must trust God's timing, stay faithful in trials, and walk boldly through the doors God opens! Jesus warns the church in Revelation 3:1-6 about “Genuine Fake Christians”—believers who look alive on the outside but are spiritually dead inside. We discover the Christians in Sardis had a strong reputation, but in reality, they were sleepwalking through faith—full of religious activity but lacking the Holy Spirit's power. And a church without the Spirit is just a pile of bricks! It's no different today. Many Christians put on a religious show—raising hands in worship, quoting Scripture, even serving in church—but without the Holy Spirit, it's just a religious performance! And dead religion is a dangerous business. Fake Christians discredit the REAL Christ. It's counterfeit Christianity. Can you tell the difference between a “genuine fake” and a living, breathing, faith? It's not how you perform—it's the fruit you produce! When the Holy Spirit brings real transformation, everything changes. Love replaces lust. Peace conquers panic. Patience overcomes frustration. Kindness becomes your character. And self-control shuts the devil down before he even gains a foothold. So, ask yourself: Are you truly alive in Christ, or just going through the motions? It's time to wake up and let the Holy Spirit bring your faith back to life!Watch this powerful message from Pastor Tim Lucas, which is the seventh in a chapter-by-chapter masterclass unpacking the powerful prophecy of Revelation.A MASTERCLASS ON THE BOOK OF REVELATIONHave you ever read Revelation and wondered, “What did I just read?” The Bible's last book is filled with strange symbols and mysterious messages that confuse modern minds. Would you stand up for Jesus if that meant losing your job? In Revelation 2:18-29 we discover that the Christians in Thyatira faced a real dilemma—follow Jesus or keep their careers. Trade Guilds controlled jobs in Thyatira, but membership meant compromising with idol worship and sexual immorality. Enter Jezebel, a false prophet who claimed Christians could love Jesus AND live however they wanted. She led believers into deception, mixing God's truth with Satan's lies—creating a false faith.Jezebel's spirit is still alive today. Culture tells us: "Why be so uptight? Love is love! You do you!" But Jesus warns, "Repent! Return to Me!" False teaching is a sign of the End Times—people want a faith that affirms sin rather than transforms lives. The church in Thyatira had good works but lacked God's Word—they tolerated compromise instead of standing for truth. But a healthy church invites everyone and leads to repentance!
In Revelation 2:12-17, Jesus addresses the Church in Pergamum, a city where spiritual warfare raged on two fronts. On the outside, believers faced intense persecution from the pagan Roman culture. On the inside, false teachers infiltrated the church, leading many astray from the True Gospel. Pergamum was a stronghold for Satan, influencing religion, medicine, and politics–and Christians were under attack. Pergamum was on the front lines in a fierce battle for the hearts and minds of Believers. How did Satan attack the Christians in Pergamum? And does he attack your faith today? He uses three deadly weapons to deceive and destroy:1) Persecution: This is suffering for the sake of Jesus. Your way of life is threatened–your job, your home, your family, even your life. 2) Deception: This is believing a lie instead of the truth, like false teachings that compromise the truth of the Gospel. 3) Seduction: Satan is good at making sin look beautiful. That's what's happening right now in America. We live in a country where the Church isn't persecuted– it's seduced by the world. Satan attacked Christians 2,000 years ago and he's still at work today. So, where might Satan be attacking your life and your faith? Are there areas where you've compromised truth for comfort? Jesus warns us—if you see sin, cut it off! Imagine following Jesus—and losing everything because of it. Your job, your friends, even your life. That's exactly the type of hardship the Christians in ancient Smyrna faced. We learn about this in Revelation 2:8:11. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus dictated seven letters to the Apostle John when appearing to John in his prison cave on Patmos. Seven letters to seven early Christian Churches, and the second letter goes to the Church in Smyrna.Smyrna's letter is designed to provide comfort and encouragement. Why? Because the Christ followers there were faithful, but they were suffering. Slandered, arrested, even killed for their faith. Can you imagine being persecuted for your faith in Jesus? But right in the middle of their darkest moment, Jesus speaks directly to them—and to us today—with three powerful truths.First: Don't be afraid! Jesus reminds the church that He is “the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.” Translation? Your suffering doesn't have the final word—Jesus does! You may feel like life is beating you down, but don't let fear take over.Second: Stay faithful! Being faithful means believing God has a purpose for your pain. God doesn't send suffering, but He does permit pain. And if you trust in Jesus, you can rest assured that He works everything together for the good of those who love Him.Third: It won't last forever. Jesus promises that those who stay faithful will receive a “victor's crown.” Your struggles are temporary, but your reward is eternal. The gift of Heaven awaits, so hold on—victory is coming! Now, let's be real—you may not face the same kind of persecution today, but don't minimize your pain by comparing it to others. From medical issues, to wayward children, and financial stress, many Christians today are suffering. Know that your Lord and Savior sees you too, so this is also a word of encouragement for you! Imagine one day you receive a letter from Jesus and inside is your performance review. Can you imagine getting a report card from Jesus with details of what you're doing well and what He's concerned about?! Well, in the Book of Revelation we learn that Jesus dictated seven letters to the Apostle John when appearing to John in his prison cave on Patmos. Seven letters to seven early Christian Churches, and the first letter (aka performance review) goes to the Church in Ephesus, which we read in Revelation 2:1-7. Now Ephesus was the largest city in Asia Minor–it was rich, powerful, and filled with pagan idols. In Ephesus there are two temples that stand out: The Temple of Diana where people worshipped sex and the Temple of Domitian where people worshipped politics. Life was EXTREMELY HARD for the Ephesian Christians. On the one hand, they were tempted by sexual immorality and on the other pressured to worship political leaders. Here's what's crazy, 2,000 years later we are dealing with the same stuff! We are living in 21st century Ephesus. These letters in Revelation are written TO them, but they are also FOR us today! And while Jesus has much praise for His church in Ephesus (their performance review starts out really strong), He hits them with the truth that despite resisting the temptations of sex and politics: “You have forsaken the love you had at first.” Somewhere along the way, the Ephesian Christians developed a hard heart. Their love for Jesus became cold. Faith became a duty. They were just doing the church thing. And this points to a moment of self-reflection for all of us today, because if you don't have God's love, all you have is dead religion.Watch this powerful message from Pastor Tim Lucas, which is the third in a chapter-by-chapter masterclass unpacking the powerful prophecy of Revelation.A MASTERCLASS ON THE BOOK OF REVELATIONHave you ever read Revelation and wondered, “What did I just read?” The Bible's last book is filled with strange symbols and mysterious messages that confuse modern minds. WEEK TWO: WHAT DOES JESUS LOOK LIKE?In the Book of Revelation, we read the ONLY physical description of Jesus provided in the Bible. Nowhere else is Jesus described in minute, physical detail the way He is in Revelation, chapter one. And here's the truth, it's probably not what you're imagining!Jesus in Revelation isn't the cute little baby in a Christmas cradle. Or the Good Shepherd holding a lamb. Or the bleeding Savior on a Cross. In the Gospels, we see Jesus in His humility. But in Revelation, we meet Jesus in His GLORY– holy and majestic, with eyes like blazing fire, feet like bronze glowing in a furnace, a sharp sword coming from His mouth, and a face shining like the sun. Woah! This is Jesus as you'll see Him next! And each detail about Jesus' physical appearance is symbolic and reveals something about His character! As we read Revelation 1: 9-20 we will unpack the meaning of this Scripture verse by verse. What you'll discover is that Jesus is literally awesome - as in awe inspiring! Have you ever read Revelation and wondered “What did I just read?” The Bible's last book is filled with strange symbols and mysterious messages that confuse modern minds. In this masterclass, Pastor Tim Lucas breaks down Revelation verse-by-verse in a way that's easy-to-understand without watering down this powerful prophecy. Yes, you can read and understand Revelation! WEEK ONE: HOW TO READ THE BOOK OF REVELATION The book of Revelation is often misunderstood. It's not about fear–it's about hope, victory, and trust in God's master plan! Today, we want to help move your heart from confused to confident in Christ. From feeling anxious about the end of the world, to assured that Jesus has the victory! First, you must learn HOW to read the Book of Revelation. This requires 3 special lenses: Historic, Symbolic, and Prophetic. Historic means what you're reading literally happened. The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John while exiled on the island of Patmos. He was a real person who wrote actual letters to 7 real, historic churches that existed in Asia Minor around 96 A.D. Revelation is also Symbolic, filled with various sights, sounds, and colors that represent spiritual realities and we will decode them together. And Revelation is Prophetic, looking into the future and revealing what WILL happen next from God's perspective. Prophecy equates to promises that are 100% guaranteed to happen. As we read Revelation 1: 1-8, together, we will unpack its meaning verse by verse. Such as Revelation 1:7 where we read the prophecy of the central event of Revelation and the defining event of human history: The Second Coming of Christ! This prophecy unveils the glory of King Jesus: risen, reigning, and returning to make all things new. As you watch with us, be encouraged. You may look around our world today and see wars, wildfires, earthquakes, and people rioting and it feels like chaos. But, Revelation reminds us that things in our world aren't actually falling apart—they're falling into place. Everything is going according to plan. God's master plan! Revelation is a wake-up call from Jesus. A call to stand up and confront our culture today and live boldly for Christ! Will you be ready? Are you ready to see a breakthrough in your spiritual life? Throughout the Bible, we see that prayer and fasting are powerful tools to help you grow in your walk with God. Prayer is communicating with God, and fasting is when you deny yourself something physical (like food or screen time) to focus on God. When you combine these two spiritual practices, there is supernatural power that is released in the spiritual realm! Here are 5 key steps to consider for a season of prayer and fasting: DECIDE ON A FAST TO COMMIT TO FOR 21 DAYS: Choose your fast: Daniel Fast (fruits, nuts, & vegetables only), skip a meal, or a digital detox (reduce screen time). Commit to your fast for 21 days and watch God work! DEVOTE YOURSELF TO PRAY FIRST: Start your day by praying, ideally on your knees, as a posture of humility and surrender. Fasting without prayer is just a diet, so be sure to combine your fast with intentional prayer! DEFINE YOUR TARGET: What are you praying & fasting for? Be specific! Ask God for a fresh revelation of Jesus or breakthrough in areas like a job, family, or healing. PREPARE FOR BATTLE: Fasting and prayer bring spiritual battles, but expect victory! Be patient and persistent like Daniel—God hears your prayers from day one. RELY ON GOD'S STRENGTH: Fasting weakens our physical state to strengthen our spiritual state. Remember that Jesus in you is stronger than any opposition or temptation that you face! Are you ready to unleash the power of prayer and fasting? Begin your 21-day and know that God is with you. Expect breakthroughs and a deeper connection with Him on this spiritual journey! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas to learn more about prayer and fasting and see what God can do in your life. #PrayerAndFasting #PrayFirst #LiquidChurch
Are you looking to make peace with those around you? The Bible tells us that on the first Christmas, the angels proclaimed peace on Earth when Jesus was born (Luke 2). However, today's world is filled with conflict, making peace seem impossible. While we can't always make peace in the world, we can make peace in our homes and relationships by following Jesus' example. Jesus shows us how to have peace with God and others, teaching us that being a true Christian means actively making peace, not just avoiding conflict. Here are five steps to making peace: Make the First Move: Don't wait for others to fix things; take the initiative. Jesus teaches that reconciliation is more important than even worship Start with What's My Fault: Instead of blaming others, begin by acknowledging your own mistakes. This helps humble you and opens the door for peace. Confess My Blind Spots: We all have weaknesses we can't see. Recognize and admit your own faults before pointing out others' faults. Wrap the Truth in Love: When speaking truth, do so with kindness and empathy. The way you say something is just as important as what you say. Focus on Reconciliation, Not Resolution: Reconciliation is about restoring peace, even if you don't agree on everything. It's more important to preserve the relationship than to resolve every disagreement. This Christmas, commit to making peace in your relationships, following Jesus' example of reconciliation. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas to find out why peace is important and how you can have it with those around you. #ChristmasEve #Peace #LiquidChurch
We want to give you a glimpse into what God is calling Liquid Church to do in 2025. Be encouraged: What we do today will matter in 100 years and for all of eternity. You can leave a legacy and our work begins today. As a church, we have four areas we want to focus on in 2025. The first is Bible Literacy. The church is prioritizing deepening Bible understanding across all age groups. The second area of focus is on the Next Generation. Liquid Church is investing in Gen Z and Gen Alpha through mentorship, scholarships for high school seniors, and programs tailored for their spiritual growth. This generational focus aims to shape minds with Scripture and equip youth to engage with faith in today's culture. Our third initiative will be Church Expansion. Growth plans include launching Spanish services in key locations, supported by AI-translated sermons. The church is also pursuing permanent locations for its Somerset and Middlesex County Campuses. And, our fourth initiative is Global Outreach, specifically the Clean Water Cause. New efforts will focus on large-scale water projects and building churches in the Dominican Republic, providing both physical and spiritual resources to underserved communities. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas and consider how you can help leave a legacy for generations to come.

When the Apostle Paul visited Ephesus, he found a city filled with idols, statues, and altars to pagan gods on every corner. Ephesus was notorious for black magic and the occult. They practiced witchcraft and sorcery. They had scrolls full of spells, incantations, and magic curses. The Bible FORBIDS all of this! You should know that if you're a follower of Jesus Christ, you shouldn't have anything to do with this stuff. It's not innocent. It's not a hobby. It's not fun – it's literally opening a door to the demonic. Tarot cards, Wiccan candles, herbs, astrology, mediums and psychics – even dabbling with these offers the devil a foothold in your life, because satan is extremely powerful. So, learn a lesson from the Ephesians. When they learned the truth of Jesus and saw the Holy Spirit at work, they abandoned their witchcraft and black magic. So, here's a question to consider – what are your modern day idols and strongholds? When you're in tune with the Holy Spirit, sometimes God will speak to you about everyday idols that aren't demonic, but they are distracting, taking your time and attention away from God! Could it be a porn collection on your computer? A playlist that's perverse? Music that pollutes your mind? If you want to live a spiritually powerful life, you need to cut ties! If you believe in Jesus, most likely there's someone in your life (that you love) that doesn't believe in Jesus. Maybe they walked away from God or never had a relationship with Him in the first place. And you're praying that will change. So, how do you share your faith with people who disagree with you? How do you share your faith with people who you know are going to be hard to convince? #1) Build a bridge to others. You may be walking into a tough conversation, but the goal isn't to argue or debate or to win an argument. The goal is to win someone's heart and soul for Christ! #2) Affirm their spiritual curiosity – even if it's misguided. Be loving. Be engaging. Remember, they may be far from God, but God put them close to you and you need to keep the lines of communication open. #3) Connect Christ to the culture. We watch the Apostle Paul do this in the Bible. His philosophy was: “I become all things to all men that I might by all means, save some!” #4) Ultimately, obedience is our responsibility, but the outcome is God's. IOW – it's your responsibility to reach out to others and share your faith with those in your path, but you can't control the outcome. Watch this message by Pastor Tim Lucas and discover 4 tips for sharing your faith with people who disagree with you. #LiquidChurch #ShareYouFaith #ToughConversations
Have you ever felt like you have had strong pushback in your spiritual life? When we choose to follow Jesus, we'll sometimes face resistance—often called “spiritual warfare.” This resistance can show up as doubts, distractions, or even a strong temptation to give up. The enemy (yes, Satan is real), doesn't want us to live for God, so he'll sometimes try to discourage us in subtle ways, making us question our purpose or feel alone in our journey. Many people turn to things like horoscopes or fortune-telling to feel secure, but these only create more confusion. Real peace and wisdom comes from God, who has already given us strength through His Spirit. Jesus reminds us that we aren't alone in these struggles—He is with us, helping us to stay focused and secure. Through prayer, worship, or simply asking for strength, we can feel His peace come into our lives. While we might still experience struggles, we can have confidence that Jesus has already overcome the forces of darkness. Watch this message by Pastor Tim Lucas to see how our faith gives us the peace to stay grounded, no matter what comes our way. #LiquidChurch #KeepTheFaith #SpiritualWarfare
Did you know that God both opens doors and closes them? We need to learn to trust in God and that means accepting when He says “no,” just as much as accepting when He says “yes.” Both answers are a part of God's bigger plan for our lives. If we believe that God guides our STEPS, then we also must believe He guides our STOPS. Think about it… God may block your path, maybe you won't get the job or the girl or the house you prayed for because God is actually leading you to a greater purpose. This is what happens to the Apostle Paul. On his second missionary journey (Acts 16-19 in the Bible), Paul wanted to revisit churches in the north, but God stopped him—twice! This was a big moment because, until then, Christianity was mostly for Jews in places like Jerusalem and Turkey. But God had a greater purpose—He gave Paul a vision to go to Macedonia (in Greece), which opened the door for the Gospel to spread to Europe and the Gentiles. This enabled the further spread of Christianity! God has a plan for Paul that started by stopping him! Watch this message by Pastor Tim Lucas to see how God puts obstacles in our way to fulfill the plans for our lives. #LiquidChurch #TrustingGod #Purpose
Have you ever felt like your past mistakes or choices hold you back? The story of Saul, who became Paul, shows us that no one is too far gone for God's love and grace. Saul was a man who actively hunted down Christians, determined to stop the spread of their faith. He seemed like an unlikely candidate for change. But everything changed for Saul on the road to Damascus when he encountered the risen Christ. This powerful moment reminds us that God can reach anyone, no matter how far they've strayed. Saul's life was transformed, and he became one of the greatest messengers of God's love. This story teaches us that God sees potential in everyone, even in those who seem lost or broken. Our past does not define us. It's God's grace that gives us a fresh start and a new purpose. Just like Saul, we can experience renewal and become instruments of hope and healing in a world that desperately needs it. As we reflect on this powerful transformation, let's remember that change is possible for anyone who opens their heart to God. No matter your history, you can be used by God to make a difference. Watch this message by Pastor Tim Lucas to be inspired on how you can be used despite your past. #LiquidChurch #Redemption #Renewal

Cabrini highlights the journey of Sister Frances Xavier Cabrini, an Italian immigrant and devout follower of Christ, who arrived in New York in the late 1800s. Confronted by the plight of immigrant orphans and the hostility of society, she dedicated her life to providing them with dignity, love, and a family. Despite opposition, she established 67 orphanages, hospitals, and schools worldwide, embodying Christ's compassion through tireless service and unwavering faith. Did you know one of Christians greatest callings is to embody Christ's love by caring for the vulnerable, especially orphans? This involves four key actions: First, give them a family by considering fostering or adoption. Second, treat them with dignity as each child is made in God's image, Third, be a voice for the voiceless by advocating for their needs. And fourth, support them generously through active involvement and resources. True faith combines personal purity with practical charity. And, He had a unique vision for His church, to create the one place in the world where those with physical, emotional, and intellectual limitations are completely loved. For those who are differently abled, your disability doesn't define you. You were made in the image of God. You are His masterpiece! That defines you. Do you know what Christ means? As in, Jesus Christ? It's not Jesus' last name. Jesus was THE Christ. It's a title and it means “The Anointed One.” Or, empowered by God. Anointing is the Bible's way of describing the power of the Holy Spirit. God's anointing in your life is the X Factor or IT Factor in your life. It's what separates Christians from others in this world. In this message, we explore 3 key questions. What is anointing? How do you lose it? How do you attract it? First, Anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit in a Christian's life. It's the presence of God activating your spiritual gifts for special service to God. But, you can lose God's anointing. If you grow complacent and let your prayer life go cold and you stop talking with God, we can actually put out the fire of the Holy Spirit within us. You can also attract God's anointing and that comes down to your heart. Do you have a humble heart that listens to God? One that seeks out Jesus through prayer and scripture? That's what attracts anointing! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and prepare for a fresh anointing in your own life. #Anointing #XFactor #HolySpirit #Christ #JesusChrist #PowerOfTheHolySpirit #PrayerLife #HumbleHeart #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
At Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the fact that He was sent to this earth to save us. Did you know that Jesus' birth was first announced to shepherds grazing their flocks of sheep in the fields of Bethlehem? An angel announced the miraculous news to lowly shepherds! Maybe that's because Jesus is also known as the Lamb of God. Your destiny and the destiny of the whole world is wrapped up in the mystery of Jesus's birth– of his mother Mary's little lamb! Jesus was God's spotless lamb, who was born without the blemish of sin. He was born without sin so that the Lamb of God would take away the sin of the world. How did He do this? 33 years after His birth, Jesus Christ went up to Jerusalem for the Passover. Like those lambs that were led to the slaughter, He was crucified. God sacrificed His son on the cross as a way to destroy sin and evil without destroying you. Understand that Jesus is our sacrificial lamb – He died so that all who believe in Him may have eternal life in Heaven. So, at Christmas, let's celebrate the birth of our Savior, the Lamb of God. His sacrifice means that nothing in your life, not your worst sins or addictions, not sickness or cancer or divorce, not even death itself can defeat you. Our little lamb, born in a manger as a vulnerable baby, has saved us, and He is victorious! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas and discover the story of Mary's Little Lamb and how He reigns victorious! #Christmas #ChristmasEve #LittleLamb #LambOfGod #SacrificialLamb #JesusOffersPeace #BirthOfJesus #Faith #God #Jesus #ChristCentered #Christianity #ChristianChurch #BibleBased #LiquidChurch
Do you know what Advent is? It's a 4-week season in the Christian calendar leading up to Christmas Eve! The word means “coming” or “arrival.” So, Advent looks back to the first arrival of Jesus – the birth of Christ 2000 years ago. But, Advent also looks forward to the second coming of Christ when Jesus will return as our Glorious King. That means you have a great reason to HOPE this Christmas season! At Advent, Christians all around the world are invited to do 3 things: slow down, clear the clutter in their hearts, and fall in love with Jesus all over again. If you don't slow down, you may miss the joy and wonder of considering the miracle of Jesus coming to earth as a baby to save us. And after you slow down, take time to clear the clutter in your heart. Make room for Christ! Typically at Christmas we actually drift from Jesus, cluttering our calendar with work, shopping, and parties. Don't let God get crowded out! Then, take the time to worship fully! Worship isn't just the singing of songs on Sunday. Worship is a choice to glorify God and trust him completely. Let worship overwhelm any worry you feel in this season and remember that God is in full control. Magnify the Lord! He sent His Son Jesus just for you to cast out fear, cancel your sin, and give you peace with His very presence. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and start the Advent Season by turning your focus back to Jesus. #Advent #Christmas #HopeAtAdvent #ArrivalofJesus #ComingOfJesus #SlowDown #ClearTheClutterInYourHeart #MiracleofChristmas #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
This Vision Sunday message will give you a glimpse into what God is calling Liquid Church to do in 2024. What we do today will matter in 100 years and for all of eternity. You can leave a legacy and our work begins today. As a church, we have four areas we want to focus on in 2024. The first is a focus on the Next Generation with the launch of a Pathways Learning Academy in our Parsippany building. This daycare will serve children from the ages of 0-5 Monday through Thursday. Our goal is to provide safe, high quality childcare based on the STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). In addition we have a passion to introduce our littlest ones to a Bible-based, Christian worldview in a fath-friendly environment. One of our second goals, also focused on the Next Generation, is to create a Summer Camp for kids, which we call Camp Rock. Our dream is to provide a world-class Creative Arts Camp for children aged 6-14 that is Christ-centered, Bible-based, and leverages the arts (music, theater, voice, dance, graphic design) to reach the hearts and minds of the next generation. Our third initiative will be Marketplace Mentoring, where students from the ages of 15-21 will be paired up with a mentor who will connect your Monday-Friday marketplace success to ministry significance, and become a spiritual father or mother to the Next Gen. And, as always, we are committed to global outreach. We will be breaking ground in a brand new country this year to bring fresh, clean drinking water to the people of Zambia, where we will bring God's Word to children with special needs. The water crisis in Africa disproportionately affects women and children who are responsible for fetching water from contaminated sources. Each day 2,300 children die from drinking dirty water and contracting Cholera, Dysentery and Typhoid. We also want to build two churches in Zambia where God's Word can be taught. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas to see what Liquid Church has in store for 2024, and consider how you can help leave a legacy for generations to come. #VisionSunday #Faith #CampRock #NextGen #CleanWater #Zambia #Legacy #Mentor #ChristCentered #BibleBased #MarketplaceMentor #Prayer #Trust #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch #LeaveALegacy #VisionForTheFuture
Do you feel worn out, tired, discouraged, or frustrated by a situation you are in and your prayers have not been answered? Don't stop praying! You should keep praying through it and the walls will fall! The plans of God are revealed in the presence of God. God does not give you marching orders until you fall to your knees in prayer. If you look at Joshua's story in the Bible, we see that Joshua was hand-picked by God to lead His people after the death of Moses. God commanded him to cross the Jordan River to lead His people into the Promised Land, but the water was raging. Joshua fell to his knees and prayed, took a step of faith by putting a toe in the water and God stopped the rushing water based on Joshua's faith. Is there a situation in your life that you need to trust God fully with? God can do the impossible. In fact, impossible situations are not intimidating to our God. The challenge is that you need to walk in faith, not by sight. If your situation does not change, it is often a clue that God is trying to change YOU. He wants you to be less focused on the outcome and more focused on obedience. Public victories are a result of private visits with the Lord. You need to worship before warfare and consecrate before conquest! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and learn how to strengthen your prayer life and watch how the walls standing in your way will fall and your mountains will be moved. #PrayerLife #KeepPraying #GodCanDoTheImpossible #BePersistent #KneelInPrayer #Obedience #PowerOfPrayer #Pray #Faith #Strong #Strength #Courageous #Courage #Mountain #MoveYourMountain #MovingMountains #Prayer #Trust #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
Do you have a strong prayer life? Are you bold? Are you strong? Do you pray with power and conviction? Your prayer life is the way to find a deeper connection with God and you can learn to be someone who prays with POWER! Before you step into God's promises for your life, you have to understand that He will be with you every step of the way. No matter how big or small your problem is, or how high your mountain is, God will be walking alongside you. There are just two steps to take to position yourself to be used powerfully by God. The first is to consecrate yourself to God, which means to set yourself apart and be fully devoted to God. Consecration puts you in the position to see God work powerfully. Second, you must take a daring leap of faith. Remember that we only need faith the size of a mustard seed for God to move in powerful ways. Faith is taking the first step, even before God reveals the second step. Have the STRENGTH and COURAGE to trust that God has got you. The plans of God are only revealed in the presence of God. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and learn how to strengthen your prayer life and deepen your relationship with God. #PrayerLife #BeStrongAndCourageous #PowerOfPrayer #Faith #Strong #Strength #Courageous #Courage #Mountain #MoveYourMountain #MovingMountains #Prayer #Trust #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
Do you have a mountain in your life that you have to overcome? What do we mean by a mountain? Well, it's a situation that seems impossible and looks immovable! It's too big… too heavy to carry… too steep to overcome on your own. What is your mountain? Maybe you want to start a family, but can't conceive a child. You're facing a mountain of infertility. Or maybe you have tried counseling and therapy, but now you're now facing divorce. Or maybe your mind is just overcome every day with anxiety or depression. Whatever your mountain is, God can handle it! All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed and trust that God will get you through. A mustard seed is the tiniest known garden seed and is only 1 millimeter in diameter. But, Scripture teaches us that's all we need. A tiny faith in Jesus can lead to miraculous outcomes and each of us overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges. What we need to do is SEEK GOD! We need to pray to Him and seek His help and intervention in difficult situations. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and be inspired to know that if you feel like your faith is tiny, that is all God needs. Don't pray to God about the size of your mountain! Talk to your mountain about the size of your God. #Faith #MustardSeed #Mountain #MoveYourMountain #MovingMountains #Prayer #PrayerLife #Trust #God #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch

Liquid Church is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, specifically, a non-denominational Christian Church, and the purpose of using this media is non commercial in nature. It's time for a new generation to rise up in revival! And that's one of the big takeaways that we see in the movie, Jesus Revolution. Every generation is searching for something. We all have this God-shaped hole in our heart, which is a desire to be loved and accepted, and to know that we have worth. The problem is: Every generation tends to look in the wrong places, like the mainstream culture. We try to accumulate money and wealth. Or in the counterculture, turning to drugs and sex. But, the freedom everyone wants is only found in Jesus. And if we want to reach the next generation, we need to open the doors of the church to EVERYONE. We see in the movie the clash between Hippies and “traditional” Christians in the church. But, Jesus loved and welcomed everybody. We cannot emphasize man made rules and regulations and look down our nose at others. Hypocrisy is the enemy of revival. Our job is simply to keep the focus on Jesus and watch what happens! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and discover how we can look for revival in our time. #LiquidChurch #JesusRevolution #TimeForRevival #SearchingForLove #FaithIsForEveryone #HypocrisyIsTheEnemy #FocusOnJesus #AtTheMovies #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch
Jesus commands us to “love your neighbor as yourself.” In other words, bless your neighbors! As a follower of Jesus, how can you build bridges of faith to folks who need Jesus? God wants to share His love with ordinary people through you! So, ask yourself two crucial questions: 1) Who is far from God that's close to you? 2) Who is hurting that needs your help? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Is it your workout buddy at CrossFit? The mom you always see with her littles at Starbucks. Your teammate at work who's going through a divorce? Your neighbor next door who just moved in? In this series from Liquid Church, you will learn a 5-step process to B.L.E.S.S. your neighbor. It BEGINS with prayer and asking God who you should bless. Then you must LISTEN to people; their struggles, their pains and bring hope and help. Up next is an opportunity to EAT together, share a meal and build a relationship. When you do this, people will tell you what they need and you can SERVE them in practical ways. And when the time is right, you can share your STORY and how Jesus has impacted your life. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and consider how you can begin to bless those around you. #LiquidChurch #BeABlessing #LoveYourNeighbor #BlessYourNeighbor #FarFromGod #Hurting #NeedHelp #BlessOthers

Be honest, has your anger ever got the best of you? For the majority of men, this can be a struggle. You know that you have to work to tame your temper. So, how do you manage your anger in a Godly way? Because anger is one of the most common emotions and one of the most misunderstood. There's a right way and a wrong way to express anger. One is helpful, one is harmful. Typically, men have one of two stances. When angry, they either become a maniac or a mute. In other words, they blow up or they clam up! Here's the good news: God's word outlines 5 steps to tame your temper for good. #1) Resolve to manage it. Stop making excuses for your anger and acknowledge that anger is actually a choice! #2) Remember the cost. There's always a price tag to anger. You can get people to do almost anything by scaring them. But the long-term effects are devastating. #3) Reflect before reacting. In other words, you think before you speak. If you're gonna tame your temper, men, you've got to watch your words. #4) Release it to God. You need to analyze your anger and then release it to God for healing. You don't Express it, you don't Suppress it, you Confess it to God! #5) Rely on Christ's help. There is no way you can do this on your own. That's why you have to rely on Christ's help. We would all love it if God would multiply our money, our resources, and our impact. Good news: God can do it! Let's talk about how God can work miracles with your money and bless your generosity. Many people have heard the story from the Bible when Jesus turned 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish into enough food to feed a crowd of at least 20,000 people (that's a conservative estimate). And there were even leftovers! When you examine this story, we discover that the food didn't multiply in Jesus' hands when He blessed it. It happened when He put the food in the hands of his disciples to give away. But catch this principle – your resources must be blessed by God BEFORE they can multiply in your hands! You bring your FIRST resources to Jesus, He blesses it, and then He gives you more to help others. That's another principle to pick up on here… only what is GIVEN AWAY can multiply. Jesus doesn't want to bless you so you can have a fat bank account. He wants to bless you, so that you can make a difference by helping others: feed the hungry, support single moms, care for the homeless, etc. This is next level generosity. Starting to tithe, and giving God your first fruits is a wonderful way to follow God's command and calling. The next step is multiplication… giving offerings above and beyond so that God can do miracles with your money. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and be challenged as you learn about “the principle of multiplication” and how to lead A Blessed Life. #LiquidChurch #MultiplyYourMoney #BeGenerous #HowToBeGenerous #PutGodFirst #PutGodFirstInYourFinances #Tithe #GiveToTheChurch #BlessedLife #FavorOfGod #BlessingOfGod #DontBeBroke #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch
I bet you would like God's hand of blessing on your plans and your life, right? Good news: God wants to bless you! He wants to bless your family, your finances, and your faith, so you can be a blessing to others. But, guess what? You gotta learn to put God first. You gotta learn how to be generous with your finances. In our series, The Blessed Life, we're learning about 2 principles guaranteed to attract the favor and blessing of God. This week we look at “The Principle of First.” When God is first in your life, everything else comes into order. Now, this doesn't mean you won't have problems. What this means is you can survive whatever situation you have, because God is in charge. He's in control in your life, because you have put him first. And putting him first also applies to your finances. The Bible makes it clear that the people who put God first should give a tithe every week (tithe means a tenth, so that's 10% of your income) to the local church. And it gives faith to give the first of your finances! Tithing means you're giving to God BEFORE you know if you're going to have enough. Ultimately, God doesn't just want you to put Him first, he wants you to have a heart like His… He wants to bless you so you can bless others. Listen, all of us are born as “takers.” But when you're born again in Jesus Christ, you should be a “giver!” If you want to see the supernatural blessings of God upon your life, start by giving generously. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and be challenged as you learn about “the principle of first” and how to lead A Blessed Life. #LiquidChurch #BeGenerous #HowToBeGenerous #PutGodFirst #PutGodFirstInYourFinances #Tithe #GiveToTheChurch #BlessedLife #FavorOfGod #BlessingOfGod #DontBeBroke #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch
Jesus is alive today! God is still moving and still changing lives. He can change yours too! So, if you're asking yourself… Why should I get baptized? That's the answer: Because it will change your life! Baptism isn't something we created or conjured up. Jesus Himself was baptized and commands us to do the same. In fact, Jesus' last words on earth include the following command: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” When you are baptized, first you must repent. You first change your mind about God (admit sin will destroy you). Then, you change your heart (about God-- He's not mad, He's forgiving and wants to give you a fresh start). And, finally you let His love change your life! Believe God will give you a second chance. If you confess your sin, He will wash them away and raise you to new life in Christ! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and learn about Baptism, and whether it's the next step for you and your faith journey. #LiquidChurch #GetBaptized #ChangeYourLife #Repent #ConfessYourSins #FreshStart #Baptism #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch
Easter isn't some religious myth or legend. Easter marks a historical event - the resurrection of Jesus Christ, when Jesus rises from the dead, proving He is the Son of God. Jesus was arrested and crucified on a cross although He had committed no crime. Yet, Jesus wasn't a victim. He was victorious! His death and resurrection defeated the power of sin and death. He is ALIVE today! Because of Jesus' resurrection, eternal life is granted to everyone who believes in Him. Yes, we're talking about heaven. Christ followers can look forward to a reunion with loved ones in heaven. And nothing in this world - not addiction, divorce, or death itself can separate you from the love of God. So, if you are heartbroken right now, if you are in a dark place, let us encourage you to let the light of Christ dispel that darkness. There is hope with Jesus! If you never made the decision to trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit is inviting you to do that right now! Go ahead and declare that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead. If you believe and trust in God, you too can have eternal life! Good Friday is the day Jesus was crucified and died for our sins. The truth is, it was good for us, but excruciating for Jesus. Good Friday is actually the darkest day in human history when men murdered God. Why did Jesus die? He was nailed to a Cross, suffered and died for us. He carried all our sins to the Cross and selflessly suffered so that you could be saved and have eternal life! That's how much He loves you. On Thursday night, just before His Crucifixion, Jesus wrestled with the reality of his coming Crucifixion. He knew He was going to die. So, he goes to the Garden of Gethsemane and He prays to God “take this cup from me.” He's asking to be spared the suffering in front of Him. But, then He says “your will be done.” It was a prayer of surrender to God. He asks for what He wants (to be spared the suffering), but ultimately says you know what's best. And the Holy Spirit then gives Jesus the strength He needs to face the Cross in front of Him. How do you apply this to your own life? If there's a situation you are dreading and you just want God to take it away. Take away the cancer, God– I don't wanna go through chemo! I don't want to sign these divorce papers– it's too painful! It's okay to pray for the pain to pass, but also, surrender and pray “your will be done.” God will anoint you with His power and His peace if you'll open your hands and surrender. For 5 weeks in our Passion Series, we are going to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ during the last week of his life. This week begins with Palm Sunday and is referred to as Holy Week. Jesus ultimately dies on Good Friday and rises from the dead 3 days later on Easter. But, before we can celebrate Easter, we will experience Jesus' “Passion,” which is His suffering born out of love for us. You can journey along with us in the Gospel of Mark, which covers the last 8 days of Jesus' life in its final 6 chapters. In this message, we start with what happened on Palm Sunday - the first day of the final week. This is when Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It's important to know that Jesus knew exactly what was going to happen to him this week. Three times, he told his disciples that he was going to Jerusalem to suffer and die. But, what ends in a crucifixion begins as a coronation of a king - King Jesus! When Jesus entered Jerusalem, he rode into the city on a donkey and people spread palm branches on the road which they had cut in the fields (why we call this day Palm Sunday). They were celebrating His arrival. But, the Pharisees (religious leaders) were threatened by Jesus and so this is when they begin to come up with a plan to falsely accuse Jesus and secretly arrest him and ultimately have him sentenced to death. It's important for Christ followers to understand the journey of Jesus and the suffering He endured for us… so together let's learn about the week that changed the world. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and learn about Holy Week, the most sacred 7 days in Christianity. #Passion #PalmSunday #HolyWeek #GospelofMark #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
Emotionally intelligent adults would rather resolve the tension in their relationships than dissolve the relationship. You can avoid friction in the first place if you clarify expectations. We all have expectations, but they are not valid if they are unconscious, unrealistic, unspoken, and un-agreed upon. The #1 source of tension in most relationships is unmet expectations. We expect other people to know what we want before we say it. For example: My kids should know I need help around the house. I shouldn't have to ask. They should just know! And when we have unmet expectations, we start telling ourselves a story. We make assumptions about another person's behavior or motives. We end up believing a lie about a person that we made up in our own head! But, you can never assume you know what a person is thinking or feeling. So - the solution is to share the story you're telling yourself and ask the person for the truth. Check your assumptions! This is part of what it means to be emotionally intelligent. Remember EQ is the ability to recognize your emotions, regulate them, and understand and influence the feelings of others positively. It gives you the ability to decode emotions (yours and others) and use that awareness to guide your decisions! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and start improving your EQ and your relationships. #Tension #Relationships #Expectations #EmotionalIntelligence #Assumptions #EQ #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
Did you know that God has a specific purpose for each generation? And our heart beats with a passion to see a generational transfer where the baton of faith is successfully passed from one generation to the next. The onus is on us to transfer faith to the next generation! When you have a multi-generational church, you need to intentionally raise up mentors (older adults) who can successfully pass on their wisdom, their influence, and their experience walking with the Lord. We need men and women who will step up to serve as mentors to Gen Z. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and get inspired to get in on what God is doing at Liquid Church. Did you know that the Holy Spirit doesn't always lead you into blessings? Life is full of mountaintops AND valleys. There are seasons when the Holy Spirit will lead you into a valley to experience self-denial and affliction. See, if you want to be used powerfully by God, there are times when things will get uncomfortable. Why? God is training you for battle with the devil! You will be tempted and tested throughout your life and you will want to quit. The Christian life is not a playground. It isn't fun and games. It's a battleground, and as you fast, you're participating in Spiritual Warfare. At some point you'll undergo a test. Will you let your circumstances overwhelm you? Or will you push through with the power of Christ? You may be tempted to quit something right now: your relationship, your ministry, your hope, your health, because life has gotten really hard. Don't quit! Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus and seek victory with Him. If you quit, you might miss your miracle! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and learn to stop talking about the size of your battles and start talking about the size of your God. Let's proclaim His power today! Are you ready to hear God's voice and experience His power in a fresh way? Breakthrough is a journey that unveils the power behind prayer and fasting. Fasting is actually an ancient spiritual discipline where you give up physical food for a season for a spiritual purpose. As a way to detox your body, unclutter your mind, and open your heart more fully to God! The Bible says your Body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Fasting—giving up certain food and drink in order to cleanse your body and create room for the Spirit—is one of the secret sources of breakthrough power throughout Scripture. Maybe you need a breakthrough in your health. Maybe you or a loved one is sick and needs God's healing. Maybe you need a breakthrough in your family or marriage - there's hard hearts that need softening. Or a relationship that needs repair. Fast about it! How about your work? Your business is tanking and you need a breakthrough idea! Or maybe you're unemployed or seeking God's direction for a new career? Fast for it! Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and see how when human strength is not enough, you can call on heaven's power for help! Spiritual breakthrough doesn't just happen spontaneously. You need to actively seek God for it! Are you ready for a breakthrough? At Christmas we celebrate that Jesus chose to be born in the body of a tiny baby. The infinite God became an infant! Theologians call this the incarnation. The Son of God assumed a human body and a human nature. 100% God, but also 100% man. This is a display of true humility, which is the quality of lowering oneself in the service of others. Jesus literally chose to leave Heaven to come to Earth to save you. The great message of Christmas is that Jesus chose to humble himself to serve us. While on Earth, he fed the hungry, healed the sick, comforted the hurting, cared for the disabled, and washed the feet of His disciples. And then He gave his life for us: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” -Mark 10:45. In this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, we learn about the beauty of humility - it's not thinking of yourself less. It's thinking about others more. Watch and learn how to walk humbly with God this Christmas! Christmas Eve 2022 | Pastor Tim Lucas | Liquid Church #Humble #Humility #Pride #Christmas #Jesus #Christianity #ChristianChurch #LiquidChurch
At Christmas what does God want from us? After all, it's His birthday! The bible actually answers this question in Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you? Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.” So, what does it mean to DO JUSTICE? Biblical justice requires three things. #1) Relationship: It's impossible to have a relationship with God if you don't have a relationship with the poor #2) Responsibility: To show special care for the vulnerable and oppressed. #3) Resources: You share a portion of the resources God's given you, with those who need it most. God tells us that if we watch the back of the poor and oppressed… then God will have our back. And it works both ways. God says: You insult the poor, you insult me. If you ignore the poor, you're really ignoring me! Conversely: If you are kind to the poor, you're kind to me. The point is that Jesus is unlike every other deity in world religions because He identifies with the poor. Not with those at the top of the ladder - the rich, the powerful, and the wealthy. Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas, and be challenged to DO JUSTICE! To form relationships with the poor, take responsibility for them, and to act with radical generosity!
