By their nature, feathers are imbued with a magical mystical quality helping the mind soar to unforeseeable, unfathomable heights, elevating the soul into ethereal realms with a flock of kindred creatives. At least, they do for me and, I suspect, for the gaggle viewing Earth as the one true god, and nature as the one true path to God. This is not a fluffy God that will reach a finger down to rescue anyone from mortal danger no matter how much we prostrate and chant petitions begging for mercy. Nope. It is a deity that has given us and other beings, all they need to survive, to thrive, if we have the eyes to see and utilize our minds to understand cold, harsh reality. As the prophet proclaimed, "Better a cruel truth than a comfortable delusion." Sadly, many prefer to dwell in delusion which explains the despicable approach to Earth-God during our short time on the planet in our present manifestation.

201: Pt. 2 10X Better! | Virginia Killingsworth on Spirit-Centered Business™We covered a lot of territory in this Part 2; from spiritual technologies to misunderstanding of the enemy and the religious system, and from end times deception to the maturing of the Sons of God.  Virginia is such a wealth of revelation and insight!  She is launching a new mentorship program called Overshadowed that I really feel the Lord's breath on for awakening the body of Christ. Be sure to go back and catch part 1 if you missed it.HIGHLIGHTS:- Ancient Pathways and Spiritual Technologies- Lucifer Misunderstanding: the misconception within the Christian community about the dragon known as Lucifer, noting that he is a created, fallen being, not an anti-god. He cannot create but only steal, kill, and destroy.- Superiority of God's Power: biblical examples (Moses, Elijah, Daniel) demonstrate that God's power is superior to counterfeits.- Christians can operate at a higher level of spiritual authority.- Maturity and Spiritual Authority: in wielding spiritual technologies responsibly.- The religious system keeps believers immature to control them, which hinders their spiritual growth and authority.- End Times Deception: where even the elect could be deceived, as in that it's possible, but not certain that the elect will be deceived.- Quantum Capacity and Spiritual Growth: helping business owners understand their inner world and build it on God's truth and the importance of understanding how to operate from a heavenly perspective.- All Things Restored Ministry: led by Virginia, noting its impact on opening people up to spiritual possibilities.- Transition in the Body of Christ: moving from the Piscean age to the Aquarian age, symbolizing an outpouring of spiritual knowledge.- Crossing into the Promised Land: the Israelites ate both manna and the fruit of the land on the first day in the Promised Land, symbolizing the transition from old ways to new beginnings.- Embracing Humility and Trust: in transitioning from old securities to new unknowns and yielding to inner transformation and governance for a new season.- Growing Up in Faith: saying "yes" to spiritual growth and trusting God's plan for maturing believers, akin to Daniel in the Bible, demonstrating that God's gifts surpass anything the devil can offer.- Collective Consciousness and Energy: everyone carries the life of God as energy, so it's important to maintain hope and high frequency to counteract global fear and its effects on the earth's energy. This will also lead to positive changes and the ability to govern effectively.- Priestly Function and Overshadowing: spreading their wings under God's authority to protect and heal.- Shaking of the Earth: God is preparing to reveal His unshakable kingdom. Believers are called to take their place and bring light to areas previously dominated by darkness.- Kingdom Advancement: believers are stepping into their roles to enforce His rule of love, joy, and peace. This period of transition, although challenging, is seen as a time of great opportunity and glorification of the Lord.LINKS:- Connect with Virginia, and check out her free blog and shop full of music and teachings, including the Miracles Are Normal online course.http://VirginiaKillingsworth.com- Join All Things Restored gathering every Sunday night on Facebook. As You Live on Earth, God Has Work for You; You Are to “Live in Christ” So that Others See Jesus in Your Life MESSAGE SUMMARY: As a Jesus Follower, God Expects You to Both Work for Kingdom and Witness for the Gospel. Also, as a Jesus Follower, you are to live in Christ and to let others see Jesus in your life. If you are to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for you – God has work for you; God's work for you is real work. The spiritual life is work – it is fruitful labor. Also, Godly conduct is a necessity to live in Christ as we are instructed in Philippians 1:27: “Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ . . .”. Not only does God have a work for you, but you, also, have a witness for Him through your actions, words, and your attitudes. Your actions, words, and attitudes constantly reflect who and what God is in your life. Paul admonishes us, in Galatians 6:2,9-10a to follow the law of Christ and to do good and live a moral life: “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ . . . And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone.”. Also, Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12, succinctly presents what it means for a Jesus Follower “to live in Christ”: “To be a witness, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. For you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.". Are you following Jesus so that you are living in Christ and letting others see Jesus in your life?   TODAY'S PRAYER: Father, I confess that when difficulties and trials come into my life, large or small, I mostly grumble and complain. I realize the trials James talks about are not necessarily “walls,” but they are difficult to bear, nonetheless. Fill me with such a vision of a transformed life, O God, that I might actually consider it “pure joy” when you bring trials my way. I believe, Lord. Help my unbelief. In Jesus' name, amen.        Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 94). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will live as Jesus would (Philippians 1:27). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14). We're starting a new sermon series today that we're calling Down to Earth. It will certainly be a celebration of the fact that Jesus left the glories of heaven and came to our planet. But it's more than that. It will also focus on the fact that Jesus Himself, as well as the message of the season, is Down to Earth. That is to say, it is not mysterious and theoretical and difficult to understand...it is practical and accessible for every one of us. Throughout the season, we're going to focus on four different themes or topics, all of which center on practical truths of Christmas. We're going to get that started by looking at the truth that: GOD HAS A PLAN.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, My citizenship is in Heaven. (Philippians 3:20). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14). He started the Mustard Seed Landscaping and Garden Center and merged it with the family business. Some would say Mark is retired, but he sees it as an opportunity to serve God and His Kingdom for His praise instead of his own.[06:25] How Mark Grew UpMark: “I feel like God has transformed me to think much less about myself [and] much more about Him. And, I'm like going to be a fool for Christ. And so people sometimes say, 'Why you seem like, you're so open and willing to share really deep things,' And it's like yeah, we should all be, right? We are all an open book: the story's that He's written, and it's for His Glory, not ours. So my story of shame and guilt is His story of love, mercy, and grace."Mark's childhood was not a peaceful one.Mark's parents had frustrations in their marriage due to his father's work and lack of time to be with their family. To cope, his mother turned to alcohol which created more tension in their marriage and the family. They eventually divorced, and Mark moved to South Minneapolis with his mother. His father would take him and his siblings to church every Sunday, which became their foundation of faith.[10:26] Believing in Satan and the LiesWhen he was six, Mark pushed a friend, Donald, into the creek. He immediately tried to look for him, but when it got dark, he went home frightened of what he had done. The police came to investigate, and when they asked Mark what happened, he lied to protect himself. He felt immense shame and guilt for what he had done. Mark: “It was like, Satan, I fell for all his lies. And I was like, immediately imprisoned for what felt like the rest of my life,”This traumatic event haunted Mark for the rest of his childhood. He was branded a murderer by his peers and family. He felt power and strength from Satan; he let out his frustration and anger toward God by beating other kids up. [17:43] Power of SatanMark called out to Satan and asked for his strength during a fight with a schoolmate.Even though the other child was bigger and stronger, Mark felt like a demon had possessed him and gave him the strength to fight back even when the fight should have ended.Keeping people afraid is one way of controlling them.[20:06] Knowing the EnemyOur battle is not with flesh and blood but with spirituality and demons that push us away from God.We minimize Satan, but his strength and demons are real.Satan has a standing order to snatch people away from God's Light and Kingdom.[22:05] Coming Back to GodWhen he was 12, Mark had an encounter with God. He was going to kill himself in the falls but stopped when he encountered God.He was swearing at Him and pouring out evil when a kind and gentle Voice told him not to jump. He has plans for Mark's life to turn him into His messenger.Even if you are the most terrible living person, God has plans for you.God's love covers all.Mark and his siblings moved out to be with their father. Mark immediately got into fights on the first day of high school, but God found ways to keep turning things around for him. [30:02] Response to God's EncounterGod kept working in the background even when Mark put his encounter with him on the shelf.Mark read the Bible from front to back and acknowledged that there was a God and Satan. He knew he didn't want to walk beside Satan anymore.[31:56] God's Mercy Mark went to college to study business administration but quickly realized he wasn't college material. He went back home to work in the family business. He quit the family business to date a landscape architect from work and knew from the first date that he would marry her.Even when you don't know or understand God fully, His Voice speaks to your soul.Growing up, when he was disruptive in their household, his mother would tell him that she loved him. Mark now recognizes his mother's words as God speaking to Him.God calls us towards repentance and redemption.[37:33] Mark's Marriage and His Path Towards GodHis marriage to his bride has helped him groom himself to His likeness. The first years of their marriage were good, and they had everything they could want. When his son, Logan, was born, Mark realized how a father loves. When Logan was three and about to go to kindergarten, Mark became depressed and suicidal because Mark thought his son would die for he did in kindergarten. His behavior influenced their marriage negatively. They decided to go back to the church for Logan. Mark found their first bible study session uncomfortable. However, they were determined to go at least three times. By the third time, God has captured their hearts. [44:47] Promise Keepers and Receiving GodIn 1996, Mark attended a Promise Keepers event with his neighbor and his family. Because of the bad seats and worse sound system, Mark wanted to go home.During the speaker's talk about what Christ did on the cross, Mark heard everything clearly and felt God's Voice speaking directly to him.Mark: “And I was like, I recognize this Voice. And He says to me, ‘Mark, I forgave you years and years ago, isn't it time you forgive yourself?'”There isn't a sin God couldn't and isn't willing to forgive. You can find freedom from sin and its bondage only by allowing yourself to live your life for God.[49:41] God's ForgivenessIf you ask God for forgiveness, He will forgive you.The sin inside of us will continue to dig deeper and deeper, burying us in a pit of shame and guilt. We need to receive God first and repent to start the path towards our salvation. We need people in our lives to speak the truth to us and love us because we will make mistakes and sin. But we have a better chance of choosing God if we know we are unconditionally loved by Him and the people around us.True transformation starts when you open your heart to the Lord.[52:11] Life in God's GraceGod is faithful amidst all the times Mark has sinned and the troubles his marriage has gone through.God answers our prayers in ways we don't usually expect. When Mark prayed to fall in love with God again, a tragic event rocked Mark's world. It became the path for him to lean more to God and to realize that God actively answers his prayers.God redeems and restores.[54:42] Changes in Mark's LifeWhen Mark fell in love with Jesus, his way of life changed profoundly. He was company president when he told his father that they needed to make drastic changes in how they ran their business. Mark found that the closer he was to God, the further he became from his father. He left their business to start a new one focusing on helping others and not themselves. He took a leap of faith while driving to see if the land was available for sale.During the tour with the landowners, Mark recognized the land from a dream he had in which God spoke to him. He eventually purchased the land for their new company: the Outpost Center, and the Branch Church. It is such a privilege and pleasure to work with God. She moved to the US in 2008 shortly after getting married. Her family has called ten different places across two continents and seven cities home.  In our authentic conversation, Mabel shares her powerful God story of how God used her experience of moving to the US and feeling like a foreigner and homeless to draw her closer to him and bring her focus into an eternal one.  This experience also inspired her to write her book and start her podcast ministry.  Mabel also shares scriptures from the Bible that ministered to her to encourage others who are struggling with their identity and purpose to live their lives with an eternal perspective.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will think like Jesus. (Philippians 2:5f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14). SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): Galatians 5:18-26; 1 Peter 1:15-19; 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12; Psalms 37d:21-40. A WORD FROM THE LORD WEBSITE: www.AWFTL.org. The Ky Lan is an animal-like creature that has various animal characteristics. At first, it was believed that it was a wolf, but in reality it has features of various other animals such as a dragon, a lion, deer, dragon, giraffe and a hyena. It is seen as a symbol of luck, prestige and intelligence by the local Vietnamese people and believed to appear on special occasions. The Ky Lan is quite similar to the Chinese mythical creature the Qilin and is said to be inspired by it and brought to Vietnam by traders and wandering hermits. In Vietnamese mythology, the Ky Lan is said to be part of the four benevolent animals - Long (Dragon), Quy (Turtle) and Phượng Hoàng (Pheonix).Similar one horned hybrid creatures are also present across Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai mythologies.Unsurprisingly the unicorn's appearance can vary depending on the region where the stories come from and they are often represented as a hybrid-creature comprised of a multitude of other animals.Version 1: The feet and horn of a deer, the ears of a dog, the forehead of a camel, the eyes of an eagle, the nose of a lion, the mouth of a crocodile, the body of a horse, and the tail of a bull.Version 2:  a musk deer with huge horns, a tiger's mouth, a catfish's moustache, fishlike fins on its body, and a bull's rail and hooves.Version 3: The head of a dragon and the body of horse.Ky Lan is also known as Qilin in China, Kirin in Japan, Girin in Korea and Gilen in Thailand. It is believed that the Ky Lan is an animal that brings luck, happiness, and longevity. It is also known to be kind and gentle and will not step on grass or on insects. It is also believed that the Ky Lan will never drink dirty water. The appearance of the Ky Lan is supposed to bring good luck, prosperity and good fortune. Carvings of the creature can be found at the entrances to palaces, temples and pagoda as it is considered to have the power to protect these structures from bad spirits. The Lion Dance which is performed at the Vietnamese festivals like the Lunar New Year and the Mid Autumn festival is dedicated to the Ky Lan. Although many Asian countries have the Lion Dance as part of its traditions, the Vietnamese version is quite different. It is actually known as the Unicorn Dance where Ong Dia (the Earth God) comes down to earth to dance with the unicorns. These traditions are still alive even today and celebrated with much fanfare.Read about the Ky Lan at https://mythlok.com/ky-lan/
