Meigl und Guido geben kurz vorm Jahreswechsel nochmal alles, was in ihren gigantischen Körpern und voluminösen Köpfen ist, blicken in der 255. Ausgabe mit Liebe zum Detail und dem Sinn für die wirklich wichtigen Dinge zurück und voraus. Was ist bei den beiden Podcast-Legenden vom Jahr 2025 hängen geblieben? Als ich mich zur Überreichung bücke, betreten vier junge Männer von einem benachbarten Kaufhaus die Szenerie und beginnen, wärmende Getränke, Thermowäsche und, ja, auch Decken zu verteilen. Das ist ja ganz wunderbar, denke ich, gelebte Nächstenliebe und Achtsamkeit. Dann wird mir, dem soeben sehr warm ums Herz geworden ist, auch ein heißer Tee nebst einem Überlebenspaket für kalte Nächte im Freien überreicht. Ich lehne unter dem Verweis einer vorhandenen Zwei-Raum-Wohnung mit Fußbodenheizung dankend ab, finde aber irgendwie kein Gehör, weil die drei obdachlosen Männer und ihr lieber Hund aus dem Lachen nicht rauskommen. Eine herrliche Geschichte, nicht wahr, Meigl?“ Meigl: „In der Tat, Guido, bei all Deiner Herzlichkeit solltest Du aber möglicherweise mal über Dein Outfit nachdenken. Hattest Du wieder den alten Lappen, den Du Mantel nennst, an?“ Laut Meigl steigt Lok auf, bleibt Chemie drin, wird Deutschland Weltmeister und RB Zweiter hinter den Bayern. Guido belässt es in dieser historisch und emotional wertvollen Ausgabe bei seiner eingangs erwähnten Weihnachtsgeschichte. Liebe Liebenden, Meigl und Guido wünschen das Beste fürs neue Jahr! Magdeburg-Anhänger haben beim Wasserabschlagen das Villeroy-und-Boch-Porzellan der Roten Bullen zerschlagen, RB pinselt justament die dazugehörige Rechnung. To date, officially confirmed cases have been reported in the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, South Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Washington. As we conclude the Grand Reopening Celebration Series from last month's Mooresville, North Carolina, Ashley Store, we turn to Manny Rodrigues and his guest for the day, Sandy Ruhlin, Broad River's Home Furnishings Expert and Million Dollar Memory Maker. Ruhlin was around to remember how the store looked years before the remodel, and even though the team at The Lake never stopped winning, she welcomes this new Ashley 7.0 redesign with excitement and joy. The conversation focuses on the impact these new changes have on the showroom's appearance, both agreeing that the improved lighting and polished concrete floor make a huge difference in how the showroom feels and how it's received by the guests.  Ruhlin shares her journey from working in commercial design and architecture in the Chicago area to moving to the Carolinas and finding herself at Broad River. The eye for beauty and design never left her, and she loves helping guests furnish their life's best memories.  The two touch on the new sleep gallery, which streamlines the mattress selection process and showcases the diverse offerings for every guest. Unglaublich, was Time für eine perfekte Produktion (0% Toleranzen im Carbon!) und vor allem ein einzigartiges Produktionsverfahren verwendet, dass es so in der Fahrradindustrie kein zweites Mal gibt. Das Ganze in Bratislava, gerade mal 40 Min. von Wien entfernt. Wir sprechen schon mal vorab ein paar interessante Details der Produktion durch, bevor im Dezember unsere Doku bei Youtube erscheint. Am 19.12. habt Ihr sogar die Möglichkeit mit uns zusammen die Doku 2 Tage vor Veröffentlichung bei uns im Showroom anzuschauen. As we conclude the Grand Reopening Celebration Series from last month's Mooresville, North Carolina, Ashley Store, we turn to Manny Rodrigues and his guest for the day, Sandy Ruhlin, Broad River's Home Furnishings Expert and Million Dollar Memory Maker. Ruhlin was around to remember how the store looked years before the remodel, and even though the team at The Lake never stopped winning, she welcomes this new Ashley 7.0 redesign with excitement and joy. The conversation focuses on the impact these new changes have on the showroom's appearance, both agreeing that the improved lighting and polished concrete floor make a huge difference in how the showroom feels and how it's received by the guests.  Ruhlin shares her journey from working in commercial design and architecture in the Chicago area to moving to the Carolinas and finding herself at Broad River. The eye for beauty and design never left her, and she loves helping guests furnish their life's best memories.  The two touch on the new sleep gallery, which streamlines the mattress selection process and showcases the diverse offerings for every guest.
