A couple of weeks ago Mike left behind the comforts of our subterranian recording studio and made his way to Special Edition: NYC. It was standing room only at the REIMAGINING THE FEMALE HERO panel at the SPECIAL EDITION NYC comic con. Ben Saunders, professor at the University of Oregon moderated the panelists: Jenny Frison, Emanuela Lupacchino, Marguerite Bennett, Gail Simone and Amy Reeder.

The summer con season is in full swing and this year – for the first time ever – includes another show in New York City.
