Michael Armstrong farms in Korumburra, where he has been share farming for the last 18 years and is currently milking 900 cows on a 50/50 share. Although it hasn't been easy, the asset growth they've seen has certainly allowed them to build their dairy farming business. They have recently purchased their own farm, and built a new herringbone dairy where they milk another 400 cows, but has the capacity to double that. Throughout this chat he gives great insight into how they've set their share farming agreement up, how they've grown the business, used export heifers to fund their land purchase, how they rear every calf that's born and manage the wet pastures of South Gippsland. He also shares very openly his financial drivers and the luck they've experienced previously with a good milk price and high profit export markets that has seen them grow to the position they are in today. In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowlegde the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. If you know someone who you think would be great on the podcast, or you would like to share your story, please get in touch by sending an email to podcast.morethanmilk@gmail.com or stay connected by following us on Instagram or Facebook and send us a message - I'd love to hear from you.

This follows Michael's last self-penned single release, 'Each Other's Eyes' from his most recent album 'Ojai', which went to No. 1 in the USA charts in October 2021. Like most engineers, Michael Armstrong was first inspired by his high school English class…Wait, that can't be right? Indeed it is! Since then, Armstrong's career has taken numerous unexpected twists and turns that include pistachios, designing a PhD program on a napkin, and becoming an unintentional Disney Imagineer. Armstrong got involved in electric aviation long before it was made cool by Uber (yes, Uber). During his distinguished career, he has worked with many company names that we would associate with aviation, including NASA and Rolls-Royce. Armstrong has long been asking the questions: “What does the next aircraft of the future really look like? And, how do technologies like electrification change the way you think about what a good aircraft looks like?” And now, he is leading efforts to create high voltage, high power, high-reliability battery systems for electric aircraft propulsion. This includes a current program to complete the first flight certification of a battery that will propel the all-electric Diamond Aircraft eDA40. The technology is amazing, but Armstrong's stated goal is for “the battery to be the most boring system on the plane.” And that drives his focus on safety and reliability. Drawing from his career working on electric aviation from full systems down to batteries, Armstrong provides interesting insights on battery technology, electric aviation, and even deciding upon an engineering career path. You will not want to miss this fascinating Moore's Lobby episode as he discusses: -How electric propulsion will allow designers to complete reimagine aircraft -The massively different challenges presented by electric aviation when compared to electric vehicles -Working on multiple NASA X-plane programs, including the flying harmonica -Why after delivering a battery, “in some ways your job has just begun.”

Cyril. Laurent.

His hit single "Each Other's Eyes" hit #1 on the NMW Indie Singles Music Chart and #15 on the NMW Top 40 Chart. It is an honor to have this brilliant talent on the RICK FLYNN PRESENTS podcast! Purchase his album "Ojai" which has the hit single "Each Other's Eyes" on SPOTIFY and all other major album venues. The interesting thing about this story is that Michael Armstrong who resides in Banstead, on the edge of Greater London, did this himself, totally independently, self-funded and without the backing of any record label. He is a 47 year old father of 3 boys and a talented singer/songwriter/musician who never gave up his 'impossible' childhood dream to succeed in the music biz. He risked everything he had to achieve it. As Michael says "I'm an overnight success...after 35 years of trying! I have always had self belief and determination. but even I thought conquering the American charts might be a little out of my reach! I am beyond delighted!" The U.S. has a complicated history with cannabis. Designated an illegal substance for decades, in recent years we've witnessed a greater understanding of its medicinal potential with a growing number of states legalizing it for that purpose, as well as for recreational use. However, federally it remains classified as an illegal “Schedule 1 drug” under the Controlled Substances Act. I guess it's still pretty complicated. Last year however, a bill passed in the House of Representatives that would have legalized the use of cannabis federally (but died in the Senate). In addition, more senators and representatives on both sides of the aisle are expressing an interest in decriminalizing cannabis use, so it looks like things will continue to change. Joining me to share some insight on what the future could hold for cannabis use in the U.S. – including the impact of legalized stores on overall cannabis usage and user numbers – is Michael Armstrong with Brock University in Ontario, Canada, where cannabis use was legalized three years ago.

Our guest today is Troy McLachlan and in today's episode, we talk more about the EU. If you haven't already done so, please listen to episode 9 from season two. In that episode we lay the groundwork of the EU (Electric Universe) theory with Michael Armstrong and answer basic questions about what it is. In this first episode of a two part conversation, we spend a vast majority of our time on pre-history and discussing what Troy calls, “the primordial dawn” that followed a cataclysmic creation and allowed for the “Golden Age” of mankind to come about. We discuss the theory of the “Polar Configuration" of the planets and the impact Saturn was having on the Earth. Troy's access and recall to biblical texts, interpretations of texts and chronologies is astounding. The natural flow of our conversation allowed for us to discuss the Nephilim, who was Cain's wife and more. Buckle up because we explore realms that might make you question history or even your own reality. Troy is the author of The Saturn Death Cult and The Purple Dawn of Creation. We want to thank Troy for being our guest on this two part series and for sharing this information with us. Thank you for listening to Lost River Legends and enjoy the show. The Electric Universe model holds that there is a relationship between the Sun, planets, and perhaps the “lesser sun” we now know as Saturn. The relationship between these planets is electric vs. gravity-based in nature. Anciently, Earth would have been a very different place to live this period of time is referred to as the “Golden Age”. Understanding the origins of mythologies and man's relationship with the ancient sky has much more meaning when understood through the lens of an Electric Universe model. There would have been different shapes of plasma discharges emanating from heavenly these bodies and these heavenly bodies became deities, marks of the season or even a harbingers of destruction. We here at Lost River Legends, we have reached out and developed a good relationship with Michael Armstrong. He is a key member of the Thunderbolts Project. In the project's infancy he was at the crossroads and rubbed shoulders with Anthony Parrat, David Talbot, Wal Thornhill and others. He is a major proponent of the Saturnian Reconstruction movement which acknowledges an alternative cosmology of a “polar configuration” of Saturn, Venus and Mars. Some of the theories held by Velikovsky in “Worlds in Collision” have been supported by additional research from Wal Thornhill and others; there has been some very strong evidence to suggest we live in an Electric Universe. Michael Armstrong is an original member of the thunderbolts.info editorial staff and has a formal science background in chemistry. He has studied the catastrophism reconstruction model for over 40 years and has lectured on catastrophism material at an international conference sponsored by the province of Milano, Italy and hosted by the University of Milano/Bergamo. Michael is the producer of various related video material and publisher of the books Thunderbolts of the Gods, The Electric Sky, and The Electric Universe. Michael Currently spends his time pondering the bigger questions about who we are in the universe and how do we find peace and understanding in this chaotic world. His passion is philosophical and spiritual in nature. You can find his work on the subject at IfISeeU.com. He also runs Mikimar Publishing which can be found at: mikamar.biz Other helpful links: https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/2016/05/11/michael-armstrong-the-culture-shock-of-planetary-catastrophe-eu2015-talk/ https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/
