The Sun-Saturn conjunction occurring on March 12th initiates a new 378-day cycle of conscious awareness around our long-term goals, responsibilities, and limitations in the spiritual realm of Pisces. On episode 313 Sabrina forecasts the full moon eclipse on March 14, 2025 that features a Sun-Saturn conjunction in Pisces (on the north node) and the moon in Virgo on the south node. The Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo may offer us changes of heart and perspective when it comes to perfectionism and high, punishing, or unrealistic standards or fantasies therein. The desires in of themselves for success, ecstasy, excellence, or dreams materialized are not wrong, but we have likely picked up distortions along the way of holding these desires along with our attempts to control outcomes.MENTIONED:Eros & the Fixed Signs consultThe Evolutionary Astrology Intensive - now starting May 6, 2025: https://sabrina-monarch.squarespace.com/Email me sabrina@monarchastrology.com to inquire about 1:1 Mentorship or express interest in the next advanced alumni program✨
The month begins with a Venus-Rahu-Neptune conjunction in Pisces, setting the stage for major shake-ups in March, when Mercury, Saturn, the Sun, and Moon join them for a once-in-a-lifetime alignment. Many things come to an end, leading to new ways of being in an ever-changing world. Yet, the Venus-Rahu-Neptune conjunctions may bring delusion or a more grounded perspective. It all depends on where you are situated (dasha). Despite a turbulent start to 2025, these transits symbolize hope for a brighter future as we move past initial challenges. Venus is exalted for the next four months. Though it's overshadowed by Rahu and diffuse because of Neptune, we can use the blurry outlines to dream up a new reality. However, it can lead to much confusion about right and true. And if you don't know what's true, you're unlikely to do what's right. No matter; it won't be long before Saturn joins them and tells us what is real. Jupiter is turning direct in early February, clarifying our aspirations and boosting optimism. Venus and Jupiter also exchange signs, a powerful combination of the two most benevolent planets in the heavens that bodes well for peace—at least in the short term. Though Mars remains retrograde in Gemini until February 24, influencing Pluto in Capricorn puts more pressure on leaders to reveal what they've been hiding. The release of hostages in Israel and Gaza is an obvious example of how these transits are playing out. By February 9, Mercury aligns with the Sun, offering sharper focus and opportunities to resolve earlier frustrations. Mid-February sees the Sun and Mercury enter Aquarius, bringing a wake-up call as they meet Saturn. A Sun-Saturn conjunction encourages us to reassess our goals but may also challenge us to stick with them, fueling doubt about our capabilities. Leaders around the world are likely feeling the pressure at this stage. As the month concludes, Mercury meets Saturn before entering Pisces. Fantasies may overshadow reality after an initial sense of realism, leading to unrealistic expectations and confusion. The Mercury-Venus-Rahu-Neptune alignment could further blur reality and overwhelm the mind. Thankfully, Mars turns direct in Gemini and offers relief, helping us reorganize our thoughts and prepare for the next stage and challenge. All planets are moving forward by the end of the month and until Venus begins its retrograde in Pisces by the beginning of March. Everything is moving forward in some way. We must clarify what is possible, whatever dreams may come.
Astrology forecast for September 8-14 Chris and Almie talk about Mercury reentering its home sign of Virgo. After an extended stay in Leo, with Mercury returning to Virgo on September 9th, we could very well start seeing forward movement on any projects or situations that might have stalled in recent weeks. They also discuss the Sun-Saturn opposition that we're experiencing this weekend and how that can have us reevaluating things and getting serious about our present situation. We might find ourselves being overly critical of ourself or others, so remember to be nice to yourself! And they give listeners the heads up about next weekend's Venus-Jupiter trine that could have us feeling elated, full of love, and ready to party! In "Ask a Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what she thinks about the new season of “Selling Sunset,” as well as the miniseries “The Perfect Couple.” They also play a trivia game where Almie needs to guess the names of famous people who were born when Mars was in Cancer. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support
On the New Moon, Mercury crosses from Cancer into Leo, Saturn opposes the Sun and Moon, Venus aligns with the eclipse in Virgo, and Mars in Gemini grows impatient with them all. These alignments may stir up concerns about endings. Yet this is a new beginning. However, it is an uncertain new start as Venus conjoins the southern eclipse, signalling potential economic and relationship issues, which the Sun-Saturn opposition compounds. The New Moon falls in Pūrva Phālgunī, a creatively inclined lunar mansion. Despite the potential problems, this encourages creative solutions—perhaps more out of necessity than sheer joy. Pūrva Phālgunī is governed by Bhaga, the god of good luck and pleasure, akin to Dionysus in Greek mythology. The sign embodies the regenerative power of sexual energy when harnessed for spiritual growth. Pure pleasure-seeking without something more meaningful is unlikely to satisfy. Yet this New Moon serves as a reminder to find joy in life's little pleasures.

Astrology forecast for June 9-15 If by chance you've been feeling a bit blue this weekend, it could be coming from the squares Saturn is forming with the Sun and Venus. The Sun-Saturn square is exact on Sunday, June 9th and could have us being a bit too hard on ourselves and seeing limitations instead of opportunities. The moon entering Leo on Sunday should help offset some of that curmudgeonly Saturn energy. We can expect additional tension this week when Mars squares off with Pluto on Tuesday, June 11th, and we'll have another tense Saturn square on Wednesday, June 12th when Saturn forms a square with Mercury. And with this being the last full week of Gemini Season, we can also expect plenty of activity in the days ahead! In "Ask a Scorpio," Chris plays a trivia game with Almie where she needs to guess the names of famous people who were born when the Sun was squaring Saturn. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support
This week, the Taurus New Moon and the Sun's elegant sextile to Saturn are the only major astrological news. Focus on security and stability in the Taurus sector of your chart! And a listener question about lacking the anticipated energy and optimism at her progressed New Moon leads to a mini-lesson on the progressed Lunar cycle. Plus: Pushing up a continent, a gigantic tent, and emptying out your life! Timestamps [1:02] Moon Report! The Taurus New Moon will occur on May 7 (8:22 pm PDT). It's at 18°02' Taurus, on the Sabian symbol, 19 Taurus, A newly formed continent. The Taurus New Moon is effective for formulating intentions or rituals around money, earning power, possessions, values, and security. This New Moon point is very close to Uranus and Jupiter, and carries some of the energy of their April 20 conjunction. [3:44] This New Moon initiates a lunar phase family cycle (LPFC) that will continue over the next 36 months. Make a random list of what is important right now, and watch those kernels grow. The First Quarter phase in this LPFC comes on Feb. 5, 2025; the Full Moon is on Nov. 5, 2025; the Last Quarter is on Aug. 5, 2026. [6:33] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon Periods. On May 8 (2:55 pm PDT), the Moon in Taurus sextiles Neptune; it's VOC for about 1 ½ hours, then enters Gemini (4:20 pm PDT). Handle your responsibilities first so you can really relax and pamper yourself. [8:45] On May 10 (6:49 pm PDT), the Moon in Gemini squares Neptune. It's VOC for about 9 ½ hours, then enters Cancer (8:13 pm PDT). Try journaling to get to the heart of things. [10:14] The week's only major aspect is on May 6 (10:42 pm PDT), when the Sun sextiles Saturn at 17°09 Taurus-Pisces. Flowing aspects like the sextile offer opportunities to enjoy greater self-respect and authority. This is the opening sextile in the cycle that began on Feb. 28, 2024, when the Sun conjoined Saturn in Pisces. Pursue dreams that may seem impractical; they can succeed with careful planning. [11:59] The Sabian symbol for the Sun at the sextile is A woman holding a bag out of a window. The symbol for Saturn is A gigantic tent. This sextile invites us to look back to late Feb. 2024 at that Sun-Saturn conjunction and think about what we may have been dreaming of; this is the opportunity to begin to make them real. [13:30] Listener Bethany asks about her progressed New Moon cycle. An explanation of the progressed lunar cycle, followed by mini-lessons on the: [17:37] progressed New Moon; [20:05] pr. Astrology forecast for February 25-March 2 Chris and Almie talk about the Sun-Saturn conjunction that will be exact this Wednesday, February 28th. This conjunction could be looked at as an astrological progress report as Saturn will be encouraging (forcing?) us to get serious about certain areas of our lives. Saturn will also form a conjunction with Mercury on Wednesday, bringing additional seriousness to our communications. Chris and Almie also give listeners the heads up that there will be an extremely long 33-hour void-of-course moon on Tuesday and Wednesday that might make it difficult to connect with others or to start new projects on those days. They also talk about how the planet Jupiter will also be very active this week, as it forms a square with Mars on Tuesday, February 27th and a sextile with the Sun on Friday, March 1st. Jupiter will be buoying our spirits all week, while Saturn will be instructing us to keep our feet firmly on the ground. We can expect a good amount of push-and-pull this week, with possibly a lesson or two sprinkled in for good measure. In "Ask a Scorpio," Chris challenges Almie to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of famous people who were born when the Sun and Saturn were conjunct. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support

In Episode 62 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on a brand new couple, “The Bear” actor Jeremy Allen White and Spanish Flamenco singer Rosalia. First, we go over Jeremy's natal chart and notice an Aquarius Sun at the last degree, and without a proper birth time, there is a chance he could be a Pisces Sun! We discuss the differences of these two signs and explore both his logical, rebellious side, and his soft, shy vibe. Regardless of his Sun Sign, he definitely has Saturn and Mercury in Aquarius, and Venus in Pisces. We also encounter a passionate and direct Aries Moon but discuss a confused emotional state resulting from a strong Neptune square. Afterward, we look into Rosalia's chart and see an international identity with a Sagittarius rising and a masterful professional reputation with a Libra Sun conjunct the Midheaven in the tenth house. Plus, with Libra in Mercury there as well, it's no wonder she is known for her beautiful voice. Looking at their charts together, we have mixed feelings about this synastry! Their strong Sun/Saturn trine brings about helpful teacher vibes and mutual Venus/Jupiter connections lend to a broadening of their artistic sides (or an indulgence of their passive sides). The real questions is, can a fiery Aries Moon live harmoniously with a meticulous Virgo Moon? Listen in to hear our take on this interesting Hollywood couple! Episode 180: Sagittarius Season is Here! Astrology forecast for November 19-25 Chris and Almie talk about the Sun entering Sagittarius on Wednesday, November 22nd, as well as Mars entering Sagittarius on Friday, November 24th. So the watery, complex energy of Scorpio will be giving way to the fiery inspiration of Sagittarius over the next several days. They also discuss the Sun-Saturn square that will be exact on Thursday, November 23rd and could bring some somberness to Thanksgiving festivities. They also talk about the sextiles Pluto will be making with both the Sun and Mars this week, and how the Pluto-Mars sextile will hopefully have those planets working in harmony, channeling their aggressive natures into something constructive. They also answer listener questions! In "Ask a Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what she thinks about "National Married to a Scorpio Support Day," which is celebrated annually on November 18th. He also challenges her to a game of trivia where she needs to guess the names of celebrities who were born when both the Sun and Mars were in Sagittarius. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support
In Episode 55 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield travel back in time and take on Hollywood's first “it” coupling between Movie Stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. They were married not once, but twice, however both attempts ended in divorce. First, we explore Elizabeth's birth chart and immediately hone in on her electric Venus/Uranus conjunction in Aries. To us, this explained her trial-by-fire and courage when it came to love and her relationship style. Known for her many marriages, the Jupiter trine to this conjunction, also explains the abundance of love that was at her fingertips. Adding a watery Pisces Sun and stellium, her allure, romanticism and dreaminess was tantalizing to all, but with Mars also in that sign, her ideas around masculinity (and therefore men) could have been confusing to her. Next, we investigate Richard's chart and locate a tight Sun/Saturn conjunction. This tells us he carried a heavy weight on his shoulders, and in the sign of Scorpio, nothing ever seemed to come easily. We also find his attraction to a good reputation with his Venus in Capricorn and a worry-wart energy with a Mercury/Moon square. Together, these two had a lot going on with their synastry! We encounter both a New Moon and Full Moon aspect between the pair and that got us excited. Plus, with a powerful Mars/Venus connection, it seems this relationship was destined to happen. However, a harsh Mercury square tells us they had a very difficult time understanding one another. Were their differing communication styles to blame for their downfall? Listen in to hear what Venus score we think this famous couple deserved! Astrology forecast for August 27-September 2 Chris and Almie talk about Mars entering Libra, a sign where Mars does not feel all that comfortable and will be forced to consider the thoughts and feelings of others. Themes around fairness, justice, diplomacy, and even fashion will be highlighted between now and October 12th. They also remind listeners that with both Mercury and Venus retrograde this week, there could be additional strain put on our communications and relationships. It's best to not overreact and to see the best in people. (Venus ends its retrograde phase next Sunday, September 3rd!) They also discuss the upcoming full moon (our second this month,) as well as Uranus Retrograde, and the Sun-Saturn opposition that's exact this weekend. In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what NFL player she'll be pulling for this season now that her all-time favorite quarterback Tom Brady has retired. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support

This week we are now in the Waxing Cycle of the Moon. Now is all about growth, building, creating momentum, and chasing your dreams. It's the Universe giving us the go signal. Remember those intentions you set during the New Moon? The Waxing Cycle is the time to follow through and take steps in manifesting those dreams. It could be a new skill or a new exercise regimen. But before you get too excited, this week, we are also going into Mercury Retrograde! As you may know, it is the time when communication can go haywire, tech can be a bit wonky, and travel plans can go sideways. It's the Universe's way of telling us to pause to rethink and re-evaluate and reflect on things. Mercury Rx is happening in the sign of Virgo. If you want to know what that means for your sign, head onto yasminboland.comOn top of that, we have another Retrograde that is STILL happening. Venus Retrograde is still active so this week really invites us to rethink things. On a personal level, it could be re-evaluating your relationship with money, your values, and even *gulp* old flames.Access my FREE Venus RX mini course at moonmessages.com/vrWith all this stuff happening, we are also getting a Sun-Saturn clash. Saturn, the taskmaster of the zodiac, and this clash with the Sun can really highlight that planet, in this case, discipline and growth. This is a good week to get things right. Use any feedback you get this week to grow and improve. Look for the lessons hiding in confrontations this week.We also have something that many of our listeners have asked about in the past.If you're a Healer, a Spiritual Teacher, or an aspiring Moonologer, we have the amazing Tracey Rampling Brown joining us this week to talk about her journey in starting a Spiritual Business.Tracey is a graduate of my Moonology Certification and she has established and grown her practice brilliantly. Astrology forecast for June 24-30 Chris and Almie ask listeners how the start of Cancer Season has been for them. They talk about this weekend's Virgo Moon and how its attention to detail could feel a bit challenged as the planet Neptune will bring some fuzziness to the picture in the form of a Mercury-Neptune square on Sunday, June 25th. They discuss how Monday, June 26th has the potential for some very combustible energy as Mars will form a tense square with Uranus, leading to spontaneous, rebellious behavior. Mercury will form a quincunx with Pluto on Monday, bringing further tension to the mix, and Mercury will be in the last degree of Gemini, adding to the intensity. A Sun-Saturn trine on Wednesday, June 28th could help stabilize things if the week gets off to a bumpy start, and Neptune turns retrograde on Friday, June 30th, ending the week with some additional cloudiness and fogginess (and hopefully some inspiration too!) In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris challenges Almie to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of celebrities who have Mercury in Cancer. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support
Astrology forecast for May 28-June 3 Chris and Almie talk about the Sun-Saturn square that could have us feeling a bit challenged over the next few days. They also discuss the moon's passage through Virgo, which might have our minds on overdrive as it meets up with the Gemini Sun. They also talk about Mercury being fully out of its shadow period this Wednesday, May 31st (yay!). That, combined with Jupiter's conjunction with the North Node on June 1st, could have us moving full speed ahead, in new directions we hadn't previously considered. The Sagittarius Full Moon on Saturday, June 3rd will further encourage us to grow, expand, and push boundaries. In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris asks Almie what it feels like to be a Sagittarius, since Almie's progressed chart shows she is now a Sagittarius, and no longer a Scorpio. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support

IT'S PISC!ES TIME! LET'S MAKE THE UNCONSCIOUS CONSCIOUS & COMMIT TO CREATING A BETTER FUTURE WORLDHi everyone, it's Sheri Horn Hasan from "Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking!" with this week's Astro News You Can Use!The waxing energy of this week's February 19/20 Pisces New Moon conjunct Saturn in Aquarius calls us to commit to the hard work of visualizing a concrete plan for a better future. The Sun in Pisces until March 20 offers opportunities to become conscious of how our unconscious drives--those based on past habitual behavior—no longer serve us.And how, through this knowledge, we may escape playing the victim & take responsibility for our own thoughts & actions. Venus, newly in Mars-ruled Aries until March 16, can motivate us accomplish this, as Mercury's sextile to wounded healer Chiron February 20 helps us find innovative solutions to healing both collective & personal wounds now.Mercury in Aquarius's square to Uranus in Taurus February 21 brings rapid revelations—so jot down any exciting new thoughts--but watch for nervous scattered thinking & try to remain flexible. And check the news for surprise announcements, such as President Biden's sudden trip to the Ukraine to pledge continued U.S. support (read: commitment) to fend off Russian aggression...Sadly, we also learned with shock & surprise of another (6.4) earthquake hitting the same regions in southern Turkey & northern Syria on the heels of the February 6 massive quakes that killed 46,000 & wounded or displaced hundreds of thousands more. However, Mercury's airy trine to Mars in Gemini February 22 helps increase our focus again by providing us the necessary energy to better handle our thoughts now. This waxing portion of Pisces New Moon's cycle advocates becoming who we want to be, but only through clarity of intention, committed hard work, freedom of expression, and the acceptance of the world as it is right now. Only then can we envision that what we wish for (read: dream of) can be successfully concretely manifested: A better world future for all!Our resolve to remain committed to more than just a dream will be tested at the first-quarter mutable lunar square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun February 27, when what we hear or see may not represent the truth, the whole truth, & nothing but the truth.Best to check & doublecheck any information's sources for accuracy as we wax into this monthly lunar time of taking action toward materializing our goals & desires. In short, this is a time to work hard toward concrete manifestation by the Virgo Full Moon March 7--when, coincidentally, Saturn enters Pisces!Namaste... CRAVING MORE ASTRO NEWS YOU CAN USE? Check out Karmic Evolution's recent podcast during which we discussed the repercussions of how the Venus/Neptune February 15 conjunction sparked global empathy & compassion for victims of February 6's Leo Full Moon square Uranus's earthquake in Turkey & Syria. And, likewise, how the U.S. witnessed the heartfelt offers of assistance to Michigan State University students by local residents as the search for a gunman--who left three dead and five wounded--was ongoing at the East Lansing college campus & surrounding neighborhoods. Also discussed was Nikki Haley's announcement of her presidential ambitions February 14--spurred perhaps by both the waxing Sun/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius, which perfected February 16, & Venus's pending entrance into Aries at the February 19/20 Pisces New Moon! And, of course we delved into the deeper meaning of the Pisces New Moon/Saturn conjunction in terms of group protests & how this relates to the upcoming entrance of Pluto into Aquarius March 23!WHAT'S ON TAP THIS WEEK?KARMIC EVOLUTION PODCAST SCHEDULE CHANGE!Join me for more in-depth Astro News You Can Use at KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM when the next podcast drops Friday, February 24 at 11 a.m. PT & 2 p.m. ET! We'll look at how this week's Mercury/Uranus square February 21 (just following the Pisces New Moon conjunct Saturn in Aquarius) resulted in several surprise announcements that affect us all. And, what we can expect when Venus joins Jupiter in Aries March 1/2, Mercury conjoins Saturn in Aquarius & then enters Pisces March 2, & Venus waxes into a conjunction with wounded healer Chiron in Aries March 3!The latter may well prove a foreshadow for the Jupiter/Chiron meetup in Aries March 12.All this & more as we anticipate Saturn's entrance into watery Pisces March 7 just following the Virgo Full Moon!Be sure to have a listen--live or later-- and while you're there, download your free copy of renowned evolutionary astrologer Steven Forrest's advice about How To Keep Your Sun Sign Happy!Namaste...

Greetings,It seems that, right on time, the question of what is the nature of reality and to what level of control we personally have over it is in the news and other media at the moment, which of course means that's the focus of this episode. Afterall, we do know our Zeitgeist, says the humbly bragging pair of astrologers…From the heavens' perspective, the times should reflect a Venus (values, what we love, what we invest in) Neptune conjunction (what might poison, delude, enchant, purify, sanctify, or possibly even kill us) quickly followed by a slap down of reality the next day as Sun (personal agency, leaders, heart and health, among other things) meets Saturn (streamlines, controls, seriousness) in Aquarius, Saturn's own temple of what might be novel and innovative, but still must benefit the All, not just the You. There also has been this week, an intensely focused energy of digging deep to unearth keys to the previously inscrutable, that is to say, Mercury (how we need to think) meeting up with Pluto (extremes, underground, relentless) in Capricorn (methodical, organized, ambitious). And so, that is what this show is full of: the people and events in the headlines that demonstrate how these energies show themselves. There is also a discussion that weaves together all the conjunctions, and focuses on something I wrote in my flagship publication, docu-mental, about why it's time we bring our freakiest science fiction ideas to the policymaking table. At the time I wrote it, and flew my own nutty idea about what might have happened to make humans go astray, I wasn't thinking of astrology, I was just writing from the center of my need to think in a deeply weird but deeply practical way.But Elisabeth read what I wrote and in this episode, offers up a tidy and compelling analysis of how what I am saying reflects the dawning outer-planetary patterns that will gradually usher in less empiricism and more virtual reality in all walks of life, just as the Great Mutation suggests. And this leads to a juicy back and forth about the nature of reality, philosophy, and astrology. And also, we turn our attention to the Department of Defense. Why? Because after the success of our FTC segment in episode 23 (success as in we predicted the news would arrive how and when it did given the horoscopic implications of the FTC's power to act), we thought more regular tracking of our federal agencies would be useful. What we found in the DOD's natal chart startled us.I love efficiency, so I almost hate to admit this, but the making of this barely one hour-long show took about 30 hours to create. We recorded it twice because we weren't sure what was best to include. In the end, we didn't really go as deeply into everything as we perhaps should have, but that has been a happy mistake, reflecting my personal belief that nothing done with love is ever a waste of time.We now understand that the deeper dives we don't make time for in our weekly podcast can lead to richer premium content for our patron subscribers. We're now discussing how we can offer our patron subscribers longer in-depth analyses of politics and economic trends in order to leverage the best of our respectively rich and varied careers, and our passion for politics and policymaking.Scroll down below our signature for a little sprinkle of star dust!As an example, the brief and discrete discussions in this episode about the secret letters written in code by the imprisoned Mary Queen of Scots and the surprise-resignation of Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, two embattled Scottish female leaders, actually are connected in ways we don't make clear in this episode, but we will in an upcoming patrons-only podcast.Similarly, while trying out a new and improved Department of They that I hoped would give you practical tools for deconstructing the news in your life outside of listening to us, we realized there is no way to do that and make it short. But for those of you who really do want practical tools for how to leverage the news to improve your ensouled life, and because the creation of the segment was in response to a listener suggestion, we realized many members of our audience would be willing to pay for it. So, we will now be breaking that out as a patron level perk. What I am really getting at here, friends, is that what started as a lark is now patently manifesting as a source of news and analysis you want and need. Elisabeth and I are starting to grok (a sci fi word made mainstream!) how important the work we are doing is, and how our listeners value it. This is not avocational for us. It's our calling, and we take it seriously. As I note in this episode, there is so much excellent (as well as really crapola) free astrology content available in the world, so asking you to pay for what we do means we really need to give you something extraordinary. And we aim to!Don't forget that we are running a 25% off special for annual subscribers through March 7, 2023. If you purchase a subscription now, you will not miss a single one of our weekly podcasts, and will have access to our growing library of additional audio, video, and print resources. If you'd like to read the forecast that inspired this podcast, visit Elisabeth's site:And if you'd like to read and hear more thoughts that emerge from my Mercurial, Plutonic, Earthy mindscape, you can find me here:Thank you for coming along with us! xWhitney and ElisabethSomething to give you a sparkly little giggle, a moment of Star Dust that spills out of how the conjunction of a kinder, gentler Venus softened by Neptune, means there must be rules when you slap fight someone under a Sun/Saturn transit!Slap fight league regulators try to make matches safer This is a public episode. This week we will be exploring the Sun/Saturn conjunction that culminates at 27 degrees of Aquarius on February 16th. Themes of shame, disillusionment, futility, maturity and perseverance will be explored in the natal chart and in transit. Other things covered were discarding gendered expectations, legacies of families, dealing with haters, and an unrelenting pursuit of what we deem important. This episode features an excerpt from a client reading back in July in which they possessed a natal Sun-Saturn conjunction. The client was also experiencing a Sun-Saturn sub period of a Sun decennial AND experiencing Sun-Saturn conjunction in their 2022-2023 Saturn Return. We will then go through chart examples, I'll share personal experiences in my own Saturn decennial as well as transiting Sun-Saturn; and close out with general horoscopes to examine this in your chart. I have important decisions to make, That affect both myself and others. As I can't see all and wish to stand tall, I will ask for the help of The Father. ☉ While I will be talking more about the Sun/Saturn and Venus/Neptune conjunctions next week, I felt that you might feel them before that report. Taking these two conjunctions and combining them with the Mercury/Pluto conjunction happening Friday brings the picture of what is happening now into focus. It is truly the end of what began last year. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are all dying (balsamic conjunctions) into the slow-moving planets. They are ending, finishing, completing, and resolving evolutionary intentions that began with the conjunctions a year ago. The seeds that were sown a year ago have grown and evolved, changing their shape, form, and nature. Some of these impulses (ideas, relationships, businesses, etc.), like some flowers, are “annuals,” quick-growing plants, and others are slow multi-generational trees. Now, as these three conjunctions occur in the last three “cosmic/collective” signs, the value of what has sprouted needs to be evaluated from that cosmic/collective perspective. Hence, the mantra and today's report focus on the objective “sky god,” The Father. Secondly, we can also see the planting of new seeds/impulses/desires that seek to manifest into form. It is beautiful that these decisions and choices are coming in from these cosmic signs signaling, perhaps, some heavenly intervention in worldly affairs. Certainly, in our private lives, we can tap into these celestial, spiritual beings and, uniting our intentions with theirs, create more heaven on earth. Blessings! Astrology forecast for August 13-19 Chris and Almie talk about the recent Full Moon in Aquarius, whose effects continue to linger and will be further amplified by Sunday's Sun-Saturn opposition. They encourage everyone to find some escapism this weekend while the moon is in Pisces, as the energy will ramp up again early next week when the Aries Moon will fan the flames of the Leo Sun. They also take a look at the late, great James Gandolfini's birth chart. In "Ask A Scorpio," Chris challenges Almie to a trivia game of "Name the Celebrity Who Has Mars In Gemini." --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/almie/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/almie/support

This week: Venus and Pluto prompt a review of last winter's difficult relationship transitions. A very crowded August 11 features an identity-refining Sun/Uranus square, an Aquarius Full Moon with hard aspects but a peaceful message, and Venus entering Leeeooo. The Sun's face-off with Saturn, and Mars trine Pluto, offer business breakthroughs and personal progress. Plus: listener Pat asks if a Mercury-Jupiter opposition in her chart is really an opposition? April, who has that opposition herself, replies in terms both Mercurial/succinct ("yes") and Jupiterian/verbose (in that way she has). Big Sky Astrology on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube Timestamps [0:35] Astrological bullet points for the week of August 8th. [1:08] Venus opposes Pluto on August 8th, marking the halfway point in this yearlong Venus/Pluto cycle. This opposition might shed light on some of the decisions you've made regarding your relationships, with Venus offering a gentler perspective of last winter's Venus/Pluto conjunctions. [3:27] The Sun squares the North Node on August 10, reaching the midpoint between eclipse seasons and urging the release of emotional baggage. It then squares Uranus on August 11th, on the now-familiar Sabian symbol A newly formed continent. Liberate yourself from old ideas about who you are or have to be. [6:40] August 11th is a busy day! Venus enters *Leeeeeeoooooo*, where it celebrates playful pursuits and colorful costumes through September 4th. [7:42] Also on August 11th, Mars makes a sextile to Neptune, with Mars on the Sabian symbol 25 Taurus, A Large Well Kept Public Park - which likes things orderly, at least in public - and Neptune on the Sabian symbol 25 degrees Pisces, The purging of the priesthood. Sincerity triumphs over all; use this conjunction to work towards something that's really meaningful to you. [9:40] It's the Mooooooooon report! The Aquarius Full Moon on (what else?) August 11th brings revelations related to three different lunar cycles - including that Feb. 2021 Aquarius New Moon with six planets in the sign of the waterbearer! The Full Moon's Sabian symbol speaks of peace, but it won't come without an effort: both the Sun and Moon are in aspect to Saturn. [13:08] This week's Void-of-Course Moon periods: What to contemplate when the Moon pauses between signs. [19:03] The Sun opposes Saturn on August 14th, marking the halfway point in this year's Sun/Saturn cycle. From here, you can see how far you've come in taking responsibility for your life, and how far there is yet to go. [20:50] Also on August 14th, there's a nice easy trine between Mars and Pluto, which can bring your ventures to the attention of powerful people. [22:48] This week's listener question is about dissociate/out-of-sign aspects. Can two planets be in opposition aspect if they're not also in opposite signs? [29:38] Want your question to be considered for a future episode? Here's how to get in touch with April! [30:32] A big thank you to the generous Big Sky Astrology Podcast listeners who've donated to the show! This episode is brought to you by loyal listeners Bernice Harmyk, Anne Walder, and Kayla Grant!

April and Jen kick off the show with huge BSA Podcast news, and then hunker down to bring you a one-week forecast! There was an important event in the heavens last week, so we begin with a deep dive into the Lunar Nodes changing signs! Then we catch up on the happenings of the upcoming week: Mars (marching forward) and Mercury (sliding backward) enter Capricorn; a Scorpio Last Quarter Moon calls to mind October 2019; the planet of communication joins Pluto on a mountain pilgrimage for the second time; Venus, briefcase in hand, turns direct; and the Aquarian Sun awakens bull-headed, unpredictable Uranus (cue the music for Saturn to become involved in the ruckus soon!). Plus: the beauty and bounty of National Parks, axe licking, and… can you really fool Mercury by setting up a computer during its retrograde?? Read full show notes for this episode at the BSA pod page! You can always find Jen at https://www.JenBraun.com, and on IG @JenBraun.MS.LPCC! Enjoy past episodes and leave comments at the BSA podcast site! Catch April's weekly column at her website! Read a full transcript of this episode. Follow Big Sky Astrology on IG, Twitter, and FB! Support the podcast by making a donation! Episode timestamps: 00:30 – April & Jen have big news, podpals! (And remember: You can always find Jen at her site, as well as on IG @JenBraun.MS.LPCC!) Love and hugs to everyone! . 03:23 – The Lunar Nodes entered Taurus and Scorpio last week (Jan. 18)! The Nodes travel backwards through the signs, and so you may recall that the Nodes entered Gemini/Sagittarius in May 2020 (learn more on Episode 24, Scorpio Full Moon & Lunar Nodes for Grasshoppers). The Nodes will be in Taurus and Scorpio through July 17, 2023, and this will trigger eclipses in Taurus and Scorpio as well. . 05:15 – What does it mean to have the Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio? How will that reflect in the world around us? Hint: The cosmic imperative at this time is to move away from the South Node, and toward the North Node. . 07:49 – The Nodes are going to be connecting with the 2021 Saturn/Uranus square! (Lend your ears to Episode 69, Saturn and Uranus: That Escalated Quickly!) Transiting planets that square the Nodal axis are a catalyst for transcendence and growth. In 2022, Mars will square the Nodes (April 5), perhaps bringing up confrontations requiring courage. And Saturn will also square Nodes (April 11), asking you to take responsibility for your growth. Also, transiting planets that conjoin one of the Nodes tip the scales toward one side of the process. On July 31/Aug. 1, Mars, Uranus, and the North Node will join up in Taurus. This can be an unsteady triple conjunction, but the hope is that it moves us in a better direction. . 08:58 – The Taurus North Node can also be about noticing simple pleasures, which can often be easily overlooked – the key is in the noticing. The Scorpio South Node can speak to releasing that which doesn't align with your authentic self. . 11:16 – Mars enters Capricorn (Jan. 24 – March 5), leaving no fire in the chart! On the days that the Moon moves through Sagittarius, Aries, and Leo we'll get that fire – but otherwise, if you find yourself feeling low energy, you might try to do things that are energizing and creative for you. . 13:01 – Head's up: While Mars is in Cap, it will join Pluto on March 3 – and Venus will be near the party, too! Over the next couple of days then, Mars and Venus both enter Aquarius and make a conjunction with each other. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, and its energy is restrained and disciplined. It's a good time for implementing strategy – but wait until Venus turns direct on Jan. 29 and Mercury turns direct on Feb. 3. . 15:48 – **MOONWATCH!** On Jan. 25, we have a Last Quarter (LQ) Moon at 5.33 Scorpio on the Sabian symbol, “A gold rush” – appropriate with Uranus involved! We also have a lovely trine to Jupiter at this lunation. LQ Moons always ask us to look back to see what adjustments need to be made – in this case, look to the New Moon in Cap from three weeks ago, as well as the Lunar Phase Family periods from Oct. 2019, July 2020, and April 2021. Eureka! . 18:52 – Retrograde (Rx) Mercury re-enters Capricorn (Jan. 25)! It was last at these final degrees of Capricorn on New Year's Day, so ponder: Do you want to rethink your New Year's resolutions? Perhaps there is something left unfinished in business or family matters. Remember, Mercury is still Rx through Feb. 3. After it turns direct, will be at this point again on Valentine's Day. It re-enters Aquarius on Feb. 15. (And it's always fun to review Episode 12, Mercury Retrograde: Where Are My Pants?) . 21:40 – Mercury joins Pluto at 26.51 Capricorn (Jan. 28). And yes, April was right – the Sabian symbol is, indeed, “A mountain pilgrimage”! This is the second of three conjunctions; the first was Dec. 30 and the last will be Feb. 11. Does a story connect for you related to thinking/communication and empowerment or “going deep” with something? (And we did discuss this previously! Listen to Episode 105, The Solstice, a Capricorn New Moon, & Zooming into a New Year!) . 23:23 – Venus turns direct at 11.04 Capricorn (Jan. 29)! And there was much rejoicing! This happens on the symbol, “A student of nature lecturing.” Hopefully we'll now see forward momentum in relationships, in money, and in the things that we enjoy. A reminder that Venus turned Rx on Dec. 19 at 26.29 Cap (Episode 104, Venus Turns Retrograde: Cheez Food Sirens!), and made a conjunction with Pluto on Dec. 11 and Dec. 25 (Episode 105, The Solstice, a Capricorn New Moon, & Zooming into a New Year!) and will join Pluto once more on March 3. . 26:03 – The Sun, at 10.52 Aquarius, squares Uranus in Taurus (Jan. 30), on the symbol “Man tête-à-tête with his inspiration.” Uranus is on, “A woman sprinkling flowers.” The propulsive qualities of Uranus might help us see little explosions of growth and inspiration, which sound nice! Note that the next day, we'll have the Aquarius New Moon on the symbol, “People on stairs graduated upwards.” Blain Bovee suggests this symbol is more of a gradual rise rather than sudden discoveries. So perhaps we'll feel driven to do something new, something creative – and although the inspiration comes suddenly, it might unfold gradually over time. [Note: Oops! The correct Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A barometer.” More on that in Episode 108!] . 28:04 – A few days later, on Feb. 4, the Sun will then join up with Saturn! (Yes, that again! Did you think we were done talking about the Saturn/Uranus square?

Be sure to tune in each week to find out what's in store for your zodiac sign. Let me know how your week's going? Get set for an easy-going, calm week, astrologically speaking – but that does mean that it could be hard to find motivation at times. Tuesday's Venus-Neptune square is a lazy influence, good for relaxation, daydreaming and imagination, but not so great if you need to focus or have difficult work to handle. A Venus-Jupiter sextile on Thursday is another feel-good but quite idle astrological influence; it encourages social chit-chat and warm-hearted interactions, but it lacks any "get up and go." It's not until Saturday that the Sun-Saturn square may jolt us out of this apathetic vibe. Mars shifts into purposeful Scorpio the same day, so the temperature over the weekend will definitely heat up. https://astrology.tv/ Professional Astrologer, Kelli Fox, from Astrology.TV gives you an astrology forecast for the month ahead and your monthly horoscope for October 2021. Be sure to tune in each month to find out what's in store for your zodiac sign. Let me know how your month's going? Mercury retrograde is in a capricious mood as October begins, first creating an obstinate square against Pluto on October 1st but then hinting at opportunities ahead during a trine with Jupiter, also retrograde, on October 3rd. Count these as practice runs ahead of Mercury and Jupiter turning direct later in the month – plan to take advantage of later upswings in good fortune. The Libra New Moon on October 6th conjuncts Mars in a show of diplomatic force – ‘soft power' at its best, both on the world stage and in our personal lives. The following day, Venus leaves vengeful Scorpio for the more egalitarian and optimistic vibes of Sagittarius, freeing us from emotional angst and opening doors to friendship. Mid-month is the best time by far for business, career goals and ambitions. The Sun trines an expansive but still retrograde Jupiter on October 15th, allowing for huge dreams and optimistic priorities; a few days later on the 18th, Mars repeats this trine with a newly direct motion Jupiter, giving the green light to all manner of projects. A very bold Aries Full Moon on October 20th opposes Mars, warning us not to get carried away. The final ten days of October are a tough sell, with a forceful and angry Mars-Pluto square on October 22nd being especially trying. The Sun's arrival in brooding Scorpio on the 23rd doesn't exactly lift moods, and the Venus-Neptune square on the 26th is confusing and time-wasting. The month rounds out with a major obstacle, courtesy of the Sun-Saturn square on October 30th. However, we are also gifted the tools to handle this obstacle; Mars shifts into powerful, purposeful Scorpio, enabling us to leave no stone unturned in pursuit of our goals. After a sentimental detour into their favorite hits from 1984, April and Jen savor the Sun’s cuddle with the North Node; welcome a kinder, gentler Last Quarter Moon in Pisces; hit Bed, Bath, & Beyond with Venus in home-loving Cancer; bask in Saturn’s support of their Solar creative efforts; try to sort out a hopelessly confused Mercury retrograde square Neptune; and give up on fighting City Hall as Mars opposes Pluto. Plus: Gouda, throw pillows, and peripatetic chicken statues. Love the BSA pod? To make a donation or leave a comment, go to https://www.BigSkyAstropod.com. And happily for Jen and a special canine someone in her life, June 5 is National Black Bear Day! . 01:22 – We continue our musical tribute with our favorite songs from 1984: April goes with Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and John Waite’s “Missing You.” Jen picks fellow Minnesotan Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Get Up, Stand Up” by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Sing along with our full 1980s playlist: https://bit.ly/3fHbbKY. . 04:33 – The Sun conjoins the North Node (May 31), a signal that we’re in the heart of eclipse season. The North Node moves us forward, and with the Sun conjunct this point, our will and creative energy are the impetus. Be willing to be seen! . 07:31 *MOONWATCH!* The Pisces Last Quarter Moon (June 2) at 11.59 Pisces/Gemini urges us to complete chapters begun at the May 11 Taurus New Moon, as well as from March 2019. What did you initiate then, and how are you doing so far? Look at the big picture and take a gentle approach. . 12:02 - Venus enters Cancer (June 2 – 28), and soon trines Jupiter in Pisces (June 3). This is a homebody Venus that enjoys being with people she loves and cooking for them. Want to beautify your home? Tip: Watch spending as Venus trines Jupiter. The more throw-pillows the better! . 15:42 – Order April’s Followed by a Moonshadow Eclipse Report (https://bit.ly/2QFU6bE)! Woot! . 16:38 – As the Sun trines Saturn (June 3) at 13.24 Gemini/Aquarius, Saturn helps us use our unpolished, natural gifts to best advantage. Saturn now supports and rewards the work we did at the May 3 Sun/Saturn square. This aspect can rein in Venus/Jupiter excesses. Appropriately, April finds Saturn all too exhausting to talk about. . 19:06 – Mercury made its first of three squares to Neptune on May 22. This week brings the second square (June 5); it will make a third on July 6. Three chances to cut through the fog. Plus, a recap of Mercury’s current retrograde season. . 21:25 - Mars/Pluto came together in March 2020 as the pandemic emerged; as Mars opposes Pluto (June 5, at 27.27 Cancer/Capricorn), we can now see where we’re at. Mars in Cancer hesitates to go on the offensive, but can get pinchy when cornered. It’s tough to beat Pluto, though! Mars in Cancer is ruled by the Moon in Aries today, though, and won’t give in without a fight (but don’t go looking for one). Rely on your ability to build alliances to protect yourself and your interests. . 26:38 - Thanks for listening! Be sure to follow, rate and review, and tell a friend! (BTW, Inauguration Day changed from March to January in 1937.) This meet-up happens on the Sabian symbol, “A woman of Samaria,” a biblical story that speaks of reaching out to someone with different beliefs than you. . 11:58 – ** MOONWATCH! ** Also on Inauguration Day, we have a powerful First Quarter Moon at 1.02 Taurus (Jan. 20) on the symbol, “An electrical storm.” The Sun sits in Aquarius, “An unexpected thunderstorm” – two evocative symbols with a lot of tense energy in the chart. . 14:15 – Mars, at 7.59 Taurus, squares Jupiter in Aquarius (Jan. 22). Are we pushing the limits too much? This is the last of 3 opening squares in a cycle that began March 20 (Episode 17, Saturn in Aquarius: All in This Together). The other 2 squares were Aug. 4 (Episode 37, Full Moon in Aquarius & Many Happy (Solar) Returns) and Oct. 18 (Episode 52, A Scorpio Season of Long Shadows & Fellowship). . 17:09 – The Sun gets squished into a container as it meets Saturn at 4.20 Aquarius (Jan. 23) on the Sabian symbol, “A council of ancestors.” Who are people in your life that have some wisdom to offer you? . 20:34 – Helpful info to cope with stress, incoming: a free 8-week Science of Happiness course from UC-Berkeley that offers practical tips on living a meaningful life, articles on 7 Ways to Stop Negative Thoughts & 10 Coping Strategies for Anxiety, and some useful podcast episodes from Brene Brown & the Science of Happiness. (FYI, we don’t get any $$ from sharing this; just take them if they feel right to you!) . 20:53 – April’s quote of the week, “We don’t grow wise just because we grow old.” Perhaps the Sun/Saturn aspect is urging us to try to gain wisdom this week, even in difficult times. Who is your “council of ancestors” that you feel a connection to, and who can you learn from, regardless of age? . 23:28 – Thanks, podpals! OVERVIEW Three difficult, rare square aspects in astrology between Saturn, symbolizing the status quo, and Uranus, symbolizing a radical new direction, impact the most intimate zone of your chart, pitting anything secret or illicit about your relationship or your love life against what society expects from you. If your family or community disapprove of your choices in love, this is the year where that may start to feel unworkable. A reckless Mars-Uranus linkup in late January may be where the tension is first revealed; one week later this is followed by a compulsive Venus-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, your love zone, which could prompt dramatic action. As Mercury turns retrograde in Aquarius, your intimacy zone, on January 30 th , you may frantically attempt to resolve matters behind the scenes, but the first of the exact Saturn-Uranus squares hits on February 17 th and is sure to have some fallout for you. In mid-April, Venus moves into your community zone, encouraging you to be more open about your desires. This is supported by a helpful Mars-Jupiter trine, and by two conjunctions with freedom-loving Uranus in late April, one created by Venus and one by the Sun. At this point, things may appear to be looking up; when Jupiter shifts from your intimacy zone in Capricorn to your adventure zone in Pisces in mid-May, that’s a further signal of openness and tolerance – but this relief could be short-lived. A Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius and in your work zone on May 26 th suggests that drama in your personal life could spill over into your professional life, and the Solar Eclipse in Gemini in early June falls in your secrecy zone, suggesting that once more you may feel compelled to hide what’s truly going on. The second Saturn-Uranus square becomes exact on June 14 th , underlining that this issue is still not resolved -and when Jupiter turns retrograde in Pisces, your adventure zone, on June 20th, you will definitely feel restricted once more. Expect the issue to rumble on through July, when a powerful Sun-Pluto opposition pits your identity in love against what others expect from you. In August, however, Venus moves into Libra and your family zone and you may finally receive some support. Indeed, it’s through family interventions that you may start to resolve this matter, particularly in September, when first a Mars- Saturn trine and then a Sun-Saturn trine surround you with security and acceptance. In October, Jupiter turns direct in Aquarius and your intimacy zone and your luck may start to improve in affairs of the heart. The following day, a helpful Mars- Jupiter trine gives you the go-ahead to fulfill your wishes, and November’s Lunar Eclipse in your community zone suggests that you may turn your back on those who have held you back. Certainly, the Solar Eclipse on December 4 th in Sagittarius points to a new set of daily routines and rhythms – a positive new way of life, in fact. With Venus turning retrograde in your love zone on December 19 th , it’s time to reflect on how far you’ve come this year. The final Saturn-Uranus square in late December may still have some tricks up its sleeve, but Jupiter is about to shift back into your adventure zone, clearing the way for happiness ahead. Once Venus turns direct on January 1 st 2022, your path looks smooth and inviting. LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS As previously outlined, 2021 could be an uncomfortable year for your love life, particularly if your freedom is curtailed or if a relationship has to be kept secret. Look to the compulsive-feeling Venus-Pluto conjunction in late January for an indication about how illicit or otherwise this is likely to feel for you – don’t be surprised if sudden attractions or irresistible opportunities appeal, even if you have previously been in a stable relationship. February’s first brush with the Saturn-Uranus square is also surrounded by potentially difficult activity from Venus. A conjunction to Saturn early in the month could offer stability, but it can also signify stubbornness and your unwillingness to bend. A conjunction to Jupiter, a few days later, could bring better fortune, but it can also bring excess and recklessness in love. The dreamy Venus-Neptune conjunction in March is romantic and idealistic, but in a complex love situation, it is not your friend. Squares from Venus to first Pluto and then Saturn in April suggest that an existing relationship may be under strain from work-related events, yet a new relationship may also struggle to find stability or security. The Solar Eclipse in Gemini in your secrecy zone in early June is a concern, as you may feel under intense pressure at this point, especially if family or society disapproves of your love desires. With the second Saturn-Uranus square also hitting in mid-June, you may feel intensely emotional and depressed at being unable to find the freedom you seek. It’s essential that you take great care of your mental health under so much pressure and stress. Look for an improvement in family relationships from mid-August onwards, as Venus arrives in Libra and in your family zone, followed by Mars a month later. There’s even room for some joy in your love life, particularly in late September when Venus opposes Uranus, trines Neptune and then squares Jupiter – these will be lighter moments in the year. If you’re single and experiencing the whole intimacy vs. community vibe in a more abstract way, look to late September for a good opportunity to meet someone new. It’s probably not until November’s Lunar Eclipse, however, that you will start to feel truly free in your love life – free to do as you please, with whoever you please, regardless of what anyone else may think. December’s Solar Eclipse falls in your everyday zone, so this could signal a brand-new start, under new ‘rules’ of your own making. Venus turns retrograde on December 19 th in your love zone, and you will certainly have pause for thought about what you’ve been through this year in the name of love. With the last of the Saturn-Uranus squares also playing out in late December, there could still be some lingering undercurrents of doubt or hesitancy around your closest relationship. This hesitancy is short-lived, however, with Venus due to turn happily direct once more – appropriately enough, on January 1 st , 2022, signaling a new phase in your love-related happiness. MONEY AND CAREER With so much on your mind in your personal life, your career may not be your top yearly priority during 2021. For the first part of the year, you are likely to continue much as you are in this regard. If you are considering investing in any kind of community scheme or business, however, pay close attention around the time of the Mars-Jupiter square on January 23 rd , when something really might be too good to be true. In astrology, the Sun-Jupiter conjunction a week later is also a potential warning sign regarding investment, debt and other people’s money – make sure you have a handle on your financial situation during this time, and in the run-up to the first Saturn-Uranus square in mid-February. Surprisingly enough, early April is a very promising time for any kind of spiritual business, spiritually-related career or a career which helps and nurtures others – even while your personal life is in turmoil, a positive Mars-Jupiter trine signals opportunities for you to improve your reputation in these areas or even to launch something new. Bountiful Jupiter’s move into Pisces and your travel zone in mid-May could be good news if you work in travel, entertainment or tourism, as opportunities will expand for sure in those areas. Be careful not to over-stretch yourself, however, as the Lunar Eclipse on May 26 th hints that your daily routines may fall into chaos if you try to take on too much work around this period. When Mars in your own sign trines Neptune on May 31 st , you may benefit from highly imaginative ideas, or even inspiration from another culture, which you can put to good use at work or in business. Allow yourself plenty of me-time and breathing space in June, while you deal with the intense Solar Eclipse in your privacy zone on June 10 th , and the swiftly following second round of Saturn square Uranus. July is not a time to be reckless with money, particularly when Mars opposes Saturn from your money zone on July 1 st , and then squares unpredictable Uranus a few days later. Fortunately, you should have a good nose for trouble over these summer months, and the Sun- Jupiter opposition in late August will help you to avoid scams and con artists. If you need financial help or need an injection of cash for a new project, family may be supportive in September. The Mars-Saturn trine in late September is particularly favorable for getting support structures in place around something potentially exciting. Any such help or investment should bear positive fruit when Mars trines the newly direct Jupiter on October 19 th . November’s Lunar Eclipse occurs in your objectives zone, so it may be that with everything else you have faced this year, you’ll find yourself needing to re-think a career direction. The Solar Eclipse on December 4 th is in your work zone, so that would be a good time to make firm decisions on that topic. You round out the working year with the return of Jupiter to your travel zone for the second time, potentially bringing good fortune for work in travel or work which involves a lot of travel.

Discover how to make the most of these cosmic energies especially during challenging times. Here’s the overview for today: Today’s Venus-Pluto squares feels a little ominous, especially since Venus also squares Jupiter. This could suggest ego or manipulation taken to extremes, so please be careful with personal safety. Away from any potential drama, this energy is about people-pleasing and the dangers of letting others walk all over you. It’s vital to stand up for yourself now, especially if you’re a Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn. Looking ahead, Wednesday’s Sun-Saturn sextile is a very practical and positive influence. If it’s your birthday today, re-think your approach to family life – try being more spontaneous and less strict or routine-focused in the year to come. Short: Today’s squares from Venus to Jupiter and Pluto could suggest a lot of manipulation and control freakery.
We are on the back-side of the Sun/Saturn opposition from yesterday evening, but it sure brought an interesting twist to the financial markets that I've been observing lately. Discover how to make the most of these cosmic energies especially during challenging times. Here’s the overview for today: Seize today’s energy and change one thing in a positive way. As Mars sextiles Pluto, the day belongs to those who grab the initiative and run with it. There’s a chance here to mix things up and alter a situation to your advantage with relatively little effort – but you’ll need to be quick. The Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, are best placed to take advantage of this, but all of us can make a difference. Looking ahead, with a Sun-Saturn quincunx, too much responsibility on Sunday could lead to angst and anxiety – do something fun instead. If it’s your birthday today, you should be able to manifest much of what you want during the coming year. Apply yourself with determination and focus – will it to happen. Short: As Mars sextiles Pluto, there’s an opportunity to create positive change through one small action.

I was joined by the full crew again for this episode, with Delia, Chad, and Jessica all present. In honor of the Sun-Saturn conjunction in the sky, we devoted the entire first segment to a discussion of the Saturn archetype. We start off with a bit of metaphysical speculation regarding how Saturn fits into the actual structure of the cosmos, and then lead into a more personal discussion about how each of our own relationships with Saturn have evolved over time.
For Part One it was me and Delia Shargel again, and we had a fun time with this podcast. Delia starts us off with another check-in about her current long-lasting Jupiter-Moon transit, and some of the healing benefits she has received from it. Next, I share some of my recent experience with my new transit of Saturn conjoining my natal Sun. I discuss the challenges of working with this new energy given the power of my natal Moon square Neptune. We then discuss the ways in which the Moon-Jupiter archetype balances and corrects for the Sun-Saturn archetype, and vice versa. We conclude the segment with a discussion of composer and child prodigy Jay Greenberg, looking at the astrological correlations to his genius.
