Free Live Workshop: Become Your Own Astrologer - RSVP here: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/workshopIn this episode, I dive deep into the astrological forecast for January 2026, exploring the six significant transits that set the tone for the new year. Broadcasting from Mexico, I discuss how to navigate the intense "combust" energy of early January, the shift into practical Capricorn energy mid-month, and how to harness these forces to set realistic goals and systems. I also touch on the importance of mentorship, the "rider and elephant" metaphor for the subconscious, and specific insights for your Vedic rising and moon signs.Key TopicsCombust Energy in Sagittarius (Early Jan): The year begins with a stellium in Sagittarius (Sun, Mars, Venus, Mercury), creating a mix of optimism and intensity. The "combust" nature of these planets can lead to irritability, relationship friction, and high "Pitta" (fire) energy.Navigating Relationship Conflict: With Venus combust, relationship tensions may arise. The advice is to pause, regulate emotions, and channel energy into physical activities rather than engaging in heated conflicts. The Shift to Capricorn (Mid-Jan): Around January 13-16, the energy shifts significantly as planets move into Capricorn. This transition invites us to move from dreaming big to implementing grounded systems and "Atomic Habits."Pluto & The Subconscious: As the stellium joins Pluto, I explore the "rider and elephant" metaphor. This creates a powerful opportunity to uncover and heal hidden subconscious blocks that derail our resolutions.New Moon in Uttara Ashadha (Jan 18): A powerful new moon offers "invincible" energy for starting new ventures, setting business foundations, and committing to long-term discipline.Occurring on Jan 3rd, this transit brings emotional shifting, cleansing, and necessary releasing to start the year.Ardra is ruled by Rudra (the storm god), emphasizing big energy shifts and new intellectual perspectives. The year starts with a heavy concentration of planets in Sagittarius (adventure, travel). The Sun outshines (combusts) Mars, Venus, and Mercury, which can lead to hidden hostility, aggression, and irritability.Timestamps00:00 | Welcome & Introduction00:51 | Full Moon in Gemini (Ardra Nakshatra)02:02 | Stellium in Sagittarius & Combust Planets03:41 | Managing Relationships & "Pitta" Energy06:13 | The Shift into Capricorn: Systems Over Goals09:51 | Pluto & The Subconscious (The Elephant Metaphor)12:49 | Clearing the "Junk Drawer" of Life15:14 | New Moon in Uttara Ashadha (Jan 18)17:49 | The Power of Mentorship20:02 | Workshop & ClosingFree Weekly Horoscopes & Exclusive offers: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/fr...Free Vedic Birth Chart & Training: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/fr...Instagram: / quietmindastrology Decode Your Birth Chart: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/1011:1 Reading: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/re...Mentorship: https://www.quietmindastrology.com/me...Quietmind Yoga: https://www.quietmind.yoga

Plan your year in sync with astrology at MindfulNewYear.comIn this episode of the Quietmind Astrology Podcast, we explore the unique energy of the final week of December 2025 - that awkward in-between time where one year ends and the next begins. With a powerful Stellium in Sagittarius (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars), the cosmos is inviting us to explore, learn, and expand our horizons before the practical energy of Capricorn sets in mid-January.We also dive into the upcoming Full Moon in Ardra Nakshatra on January 3rd, a time ripe for emotional catharsis, "stormy" transformative energy, and intellectual breakthroughs. Learn why New Year's resolutions often fail, how to use the "GPS Method" for spiritual manifestation, and how to navigate information overload in the modern age.Key Takeaways & Timestamps00:00 – The "In-Between" Week & The 2026 FrequencyWe start by acknowledging the awkward limbo between Christmas and New Year's, a time often marked by confusion on where to focus. However, energetically, we are already shifting from the 2025 frequency of endings and completion into the 2026 frequency of possibility, expansion, and new creation (a 1 year in vedic numerology). 01:08 – Sagittarius Stellium: A Time for ExplorationA major Stellium is occurring in Sagittarius involving Mercury, Venus, the Sun, and Mars. This alignment emphasizes exploration, learning, and growth, making it an excellent week for working with mentors, studying philosophy, or traveling to new places, even if just exploring a new part of your local town. 02:04 – Reviewing the Year with MercuryWith Mercury (the intellect) in Sagittarius, now is the ideal time to review the past year: what went well, what didn't, and what lessons were learned. Depending on your rising sign, this energy highlights different areas of life, such as relationships (7th House) or creativity and children (5th House). 04:34 – Why New Year's Resolutions FailResolutions often fade by February because we set them during the fun, expansive energy of Sagittarius, but fail to maintain them when the sun moves into the practical, work-oriented energy of Capricorn in mid-January. To make goals stick, we must be prepared to transition from "dreaming big" to "doing the work." 06:54 – The GPS Method for ManifestationRather than viewing goals as a linear struggle, think of them like a GPS: identify Point A (current reality) and Point B (desired outcome). Spiritually, the shortest distance isn't a line but a single point; by embodying the frequency of your goal now (happiness, excitement), you attract that reality faster and with less resistance. 13:51 – Full Moon in Ardra (January 3rd)We transition into the New Year with a Full Moon in Ardra Nakshatra (Gemini). Ruled by Rudra, the storm god, this energy brings emotional storms and tears that cleanse and purify, much like rain after a drought. Expect opportunities for deep emotional catharsis, truth-telling, and intellectual breakthroughs. 16:12 – Managing Nervous Energy & Information OverloadThe combination of Gemini and Mercury can lead to nervous system agitation and information overload - a common challenge in the AI age. If you feel triggered or overwhelmed, prioritize nervous system regulation (yoga, meditation) and focus only on information relevant to your current life stage or Dasha (e.g., service during a Saturn period). January 2026 opens with an extraordinary astrological landscape — one that invites reflection, choice, and conscious participation. In this episode, we explore a rare continuation of out-of-bounds planetary activity, with the Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all operating beyond their usual limits in the opening days of the year. When planets go out of bounds, they behave with fewer internal restraints, offering powerful opportunities to act, create, decide, and respond in new ways — if we're paying attention. You'll hear about: What out-of-bounds planets mean in astrology, and how to work with them intentionally How Mercury, Venus, and Mars out of bounds in Capricorn may challenge habits, plans, and self-control Why Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are especially activated this month Emotional intelligence as a resource while the Moon repeatedly goes out of bounds in Cancer How different Cardinal signs may experience these energies internally and relationally January also carries the final phase of the Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Pisces, a long transit associated with disillusionment, endings, grief, realism, and the reshaping of dreams. As Neptune prepares to leave Pisces for the last time in our lifetime, this episode reflects on what it means to allow something to dissolve — and how acceptance can quietly prepare the ground for a new foundation.Along the way, we draw inspiration from music and myth, including reflections on Roy Orbison, whose Saturn–Neptune signature speaks poignantly to the tension between dreams and reality. This forecast also covers: A powerful run of stelliums from Capricorn into Aquarius A rare six-planet, double-sign stellium around January 19 How to work with intense concentrations of planetary energy through focus and leadership A brief but meaningful opposition to Jupiter, highlighting themes of polarization, excess, and negotiation The shift from Capricorn's managerial intelligence to Aquarius' visionary design This episode is best enjoyed as a contemplative listen — whether you're reflecting on your own chart, navigating change in your life, or simply tuning into the larger collective moment as we cross fully into 2026.To explore these themes further, you're invited to join upcoming conversations and webinars featured on the Astrology University events calendar.Take care of yourself, stay connected to what matters, and remember: astrology doesn't tell us what will happen — it helps us understand how to meet what's happening with greater awareness, choice, and compassion.

Get the Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals at https://www.quietmindastrology.com/2026Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, a full moon in Rohini, and powerful movements through Taurus and Scorpio. This week brings a mix of renewal, nourishment, and deep inner work. In this episode, I share what to lean into, what to avoid, and how to work skillfully with these four notable Vedic transits. We're moving out of the heaviness of the Mercury and Saturn retrogrades. All the inner planets are direct again, which brings fresh momentum and forward movement. Jupiter is the only planet turning inward, returning to Gemini and the nakshatra of Punarvasu. This is where renewal, learning, and spiritual optimism come back online. It's a time to revisit teachings, teachers, and wisdom paths that once helped you grow, and to explore what they can offer you now.On December 4th we have a full moon in Rohini, right in the moon's exaltation point. This creates one of the most nourishing full moons of the year. Good food, good company, grounding rituals, quality time with loved ones, and simple pleasures all go a long way. At the same time, full moons can heighten sensitivity and bring emotions closer to the surface, especially with the Sun and Mars in Scorpio. This week carries a strong theme of transformation through relationships, identity shifts, and the release of old patterns that no longer fit.Jupiter's shift back into Gemini on December 5th begins a months-long inner journey. For many people, 2025 has been a year of endings, completions, and intense karmic clearing. Jupiter in Punarvasu supports healing through perspective, learning, and revisiting the past with wiser eyes. If you've felt like you're becoming a new version of yourself, this is the transit that helps you stabilize that growth. If you want support planning your year ahead, you can join me for the Mindful New Year workshop on December 19th. We'll look at your personal chart, your dasha cycles, and the major 2026 transits to help you get aligned with the new cycle beginning next year. You can also book a one-to-one reading or join the early access to the Vedic Astrology Mentorship opening in January.Key Ideas From the Episode “Jupiter retrograde in Punarvasu helps you return to the teachings that once opened you up.” “This full moon in Rohini is one of the most nourishing full moons we get all year.” “Many people feel like they're done with an old identity. That's Ketu in Leo doing its work.” “When you resist a karmic shift, it tends to come as a boulder instead of a pebble.” “2025 is a nine year. In episode 125 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield try on a different type of relationship and cover the rivalry between former college players and now WNBA stars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. First, we jump into Angel's chart and are stunned by a pronounced Gemini stellium. With her "Bayou Barbie" nickname and ability to play all five positions on the court, this chart shows multifaceted interests and a great variety of expressions. With an opposition from transformation Pluto in Sagittarius, there can be a theme of mental power struggles and hard lessons in deciphering truth from fiction. In total contrast, we see a soft and sensitive Pisces Moon which shows us her charitable and giving spirit. In Caitlin's chart we also find a pronounced Stellium in the air element, but this time in rebellious Aquarius. Starting basketball at age five on the boys' team, this chart shows unique and progressive ways of being. With a strong Sun/Venus/Neptune conjunction, there is a lovable and gracious side to her but one that can also get confused and deal with projections in relationships and identity. We also see a competitive, fighting warrior with an Aries Mars sextile to the Sun. Together, it's almost hard to find where the rivalry lies, because the two super athletes share so many chart similarities! A Sun/Moon conjunction reveals a sense of familiarity and feeling seen by one another. While a Moon sextile Moon feels even more emotionally safe and supportive. We do encounter a restrictive Saturn conjunction to one of the stelliums, telling us one person brings about heavy and burdensome feelings while a Pluto square to another's Moon talks about the need to dominate and deeply change the other. Is this a real rivalry as intense as the media portrays? Listen to hear what Venus (and Mars) score they get! Book Mentioned: The Archetypal Universe by Renn Butler Book a Reading with us! It's hard to believe we're already halfway through the year, approaching the summer solstice for those in the Northern Hemisphere, and the winter solstice for the Southern Hemisphere. How has your year been so far? We've already experienced some significant transits, including the first Mercury retrograde and the new Pluto retrograde I discussed last week. Personally, I've been through a big move recently, and I'm loving my new place. Many Virgo Moon and Rising people, like myself, have made big moves recently. We've all experienced significant changes with the recent eclipse season. Grounding with Taurus EnergyAs we transition into June, we're moving into a period rich with Taurus energy. After the intense transformations of the eclipse season, Taurus brings a much-needed stabilizing and grounding influence. For me, this means settling into my new environment, feeling inspired by my work, and enjoying the beauty of nature. How could it look for you? Life is always in motion, and as long as we're alive, we're constantly learning and growing. The energy of Taurus this month offers a chance to embrace stability and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Whether it's organizing your space, spending time in nature, or enjoying good food, this is a time to ground yourself and appreciate the present moment. Key Dates for June 2024June 1st - Mars Moves into Aries:Mars entering Aries brings a surge of dynamic energy. It's a great time to take bold actions and start new projects, but be cautious not to act impulsively. The transition from Pisces to Aries can untangle karmic knots, freeing up energy for new initiatives. Dear Friends,Beginning with a Pluto/Mars conjunction, this is a week Theresa and I flagged as potentially tumultuous in our year-ahead forecast. However, as with most challenging astrological moments, the same energy that triggers the potential for tumult is available to each of us as individuals to work with as we choose. Mars is likely to inspire a desire to take action this week or to move through some of the deep material that Pluto has churned up since its ingress into Aquarius in late January. I wish you all the most positive and productive manifestation of this transit, and I hope that each of you feels uplifted and energized as we approach the renewal of the Mars/Venus cycle next week. With Love,Christina and TheresaFor more information about our work:Christina: Skies of Grace Astrology Theresa: Inner Currents Get full access to Skies and Currents at skiesofgrace.substack.com/subscribe

Hi Friends,Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is well. I'm excited to share this episode with you, and I hope everyone enjoys the Aquarius Stellium we are heading towards. This month has the potential to be intense, but I hope we can all channel the energy and momentum into projects that are positive and productive for our lives. Theresa was recording from a house full of sick children, so there's a bit of extra family background noise, but I did my best to edit as much as I could for listener ease. But welcome to our homes, everyone! We love you all! Enjoy.Christina and Theresa Get full access to Skies and Currents at skiesofgrace.substack.com/subscribe

Hope you're doing well. It's been an interesting week for a lot of people. The eclipse season can be intense, disruptive and disorienting. It can also be hugely transformational, clarifying and open up a world of new possibilities. I'll share how you can best work with this transformational time based on your unique birth chart. Any transit can have positive, negative or neutral expression, just like every atom in your body has this potential in it's proton, electron and neutron. When you notice the negative arising, you can begin to make choices more in alignment with your intended outcomes. One of the unique energies present right now is that in the Hindu tradition, we're in the Navaratri festival, honoring 9 forms of goddesses over 9 nights. A favorable time for slowing down, resting if possible, and honoring your unique rhythms and cycles. This also aligns with the stellium in Libra happening now. This is the most influential transit this week, leading up to the next Eclipse. It's Friday the 13th and for whatever reason that date has a lot of superstition and fear associated with it. None of it has to do with Vedic Astrology, but because we are talking about important dates, I want to address this here. I'll share some of the origins of the superstition around the date. With that out of the way, lets talk about something that is generally considered inauspicious in the Vedic tradition, and that is the day of the eclipse. Here is what the Rig Veda (c. 1750BCE) says about eclipses: “When the moon lighted by the sun affects the sun with the darkness of its shadow, when it is in line with the sun and earth, then the person who does not know his area feels confused during the eclipse and the regions too appear confusing. Similarly, O sun, light of the spirit, when the veil of darkness covers knowledge and awareness of the spirit, then the ignorant man feels confused, and the world too appears different, that is, the material appears as ultimate reality and the spirit is eclipsed. He makes no distinction between body and soul.” - Rig Veda 5.40.5 The eclipses happen every 6 months and mark a turning point in the year, a new turn in the story of your life. It can be helpful to go back to April 20th to May 5th of this year to reflect on what you were going through then, what has evolved from that, and explore what the next evolution is that's happening now over the next 4 weeks. Sat, Oct 14 - New Moon / Eclipse in Chittra + Opportunities for new beginnings and creative endeavors. + Potential for fresh insights and inventive thinking. + A chance to make a significant impact through creative expression. - Risk of impulsive decisions or lack of follow-through. - Tendency to overidealize situations, leading to disappointment. - Potential for conflicts related to creative differences. Tue, Oct 17 - Venus in Purvaphalguni (13 Days) Tue, Oct 17 - Sun in Libra (30 Days) Wed, Oct 18 - Mercury in Libra (19 Days) Sun, Oct 22 - Mercury in Swati (8 Days) - Free Weekly Horoscopes: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/freehoroscopes Free Vedic Birth Chart & Training: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/freebirthchart Follow on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/quietmindastrology Subscribe on YouTube: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/youtube Schedule a Life Alignment Reading: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/reading Enroll in Vedic Astrology 101: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/101 Free Monthly Review Prcoess: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/monthlyreview Mentorship Waitlist: http://www.quietmindastrology.com/mentorship Keywords: nakshatras, grahas (planets), rashi (zodiac signs), bhavas (houses), mahadasha, antardasha, jyotish (astrology), yoga (planetary combinations), doshas (afflictions), kundali (birth chart), transits, retrograde, aspects, dasha system, remedies, mantras. Welcome to Shortcuts to Mastery!
On Tuesday May 16th, Prince Harry, Meghan and her mother were in a “near catastrophic” car chase, pursued by paparazzi following the Women of Vision Gala in New York. This is deeply disturbing considering Harry's beloved mother, Diana Princess of Wales, lost her life in a high speed car chase in Paris while being pursued by paparazzi, on 31 August 1997. In an open letter dated October 1st 2019, Harry wrote “My deepest fear is history repeating itself, I've seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces." Hopefully history won't repeat itself. However, there are certainly echoes in the circumstances which make interesting viewing from an astrological lens. I hope we can see this as an opportunity to make changes before greed and celebrity obsession claim more lives – all in in the name of the next big headline. What do you think about the media's involvement in Harry's life? Could Jupiter in Taurus square Pluto in Aquarius highlight the need for media outlets to acknowledge their obsession and dial back their relentless pursuit of celebrities at all costs? Saturn enters Pisces on 7th March 2023 which is the first time he's not been in a sign he rules since 2017. His move into Pisces signals a huge shift which coincides with the ingress of both Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Cancer – both occurring in the same month (more on these in future shows). Saturn was last in Pisces between May 1993 and April 1996 – those of you listening who were born during this time will be having your first Saturn return during this period. You could be having your second or third Saturn return during this period – I've included the Saturn in Pisces dates for these periods, below.
